The past week for Fragment Village had been one of frantic work and fear, as the inhabitants hurried to prepare their village for the incoming attack. The tension in the air was thick enough that you could potentially cut it with a knife, as the villagers waited for the so-called "Virus Hunter" to slowly make his way towards their home. Even if the Hunter was still at least a day's march from town, according to the latest predictions, the townsfolk were still hard at work fortifying their homes with whatever scraps they could get their hands on.
It truly showed how dire the situation was that the leader of Fragment Village, a community known to be distrusting of outsiders, had sent out an open plea for help across the TamerNet. Luckily for the town, there had been several volunteers willing to do their part in protecting the village, which somewhat alleviated the village's fears a bit.The mayor of the town was to busy organizing the village's defenses to meet with the brave volunteers himself, so he sent a liaison, a Matadormon whose claws were permanently warped and disfigured, to act as a go-between.
Said Matadormon was currently waiting at the village's main entrance, the only major opening in a makeshift wall of welded scrap that had been set up around the village as part of their defense preparations. The vampiric Digimon was currently leaning against the edge of the wall, clicking his warped claws againste each other impatiently as he waited for the volunteers to arrive.

At Deeplane’s Citadel, in Amaya Akemi’s office, a message had been in the process of delivery. It was grim, with the potentiality of much worse tidings following if it was left to fester.
“Virus Hunter?” The human clad in royal purple repeated after her messenger, a Sistermon Noir she was on good terms with. Priere nodded. “I could not get much more information aside from that. He’s poised to strike at Fragment Village first…” The nun’s words seemed to strike a chord (or was that a nerve?) within the other occupant of the office. The Lady of Wrath, Anzu. Though in a rare case of being in her rookie form, that of a Tsukaimon. Her face glowered daggers at something all the same.
“Oh, haha! Some attributist mongrel with a worse epithet than half the lawful stupid shiteaters I’ve seen thinks they can come to MY lands and purge the whole place? Not on my damn watch. Where’s the meeting point for this mission?”
“Fragment Village itself. So, you’re accepting?” The nun inquired—to which Amaya Akemi nodded.
“It might be tough to see but I’m with Anzu on this, for a change. Letting something like that roam freely will only invite death and disruption to Deeplane’s work.”
And as such, a pact was sealed. At the mouth of Fragment Village, a DexDorugreymon would descend from a short flight from the strange city everyone had heard the name of at least once, and plant itself firmly on the ground at least once.
“This one’s duty has been completed. I have delivered Deeplane’s liaison for this mission. May all who cross you’s woes be many, and their days few.”
As the beast spoke, their rider dismounted, dusting herself off as she approached Matadormon. “Hello. I’m sorry if I’m late or anything, my partner should be a-“ And as Akemi was apologizing, a cloud of mists gathered near her, before forming into a demonic entity, crowned with a ram’s skull. A Mephistomon X. “She should be here, now, as she intends to be.”
Anzu finished that. Before she would bow. “Greetings.” And as the baphomet straightened herself out? She would ask but one question.
“Where is our prey?”

"Virus Hunter?" Luna asked leaning over Dust's shoulder as he held the mission request in his hands, over his other shoulder his daughter Saya did almost the exact same thing as Luna leaning over his shoulder to stare at the message. "Fragment village huh? Well I guess the area matches up..." It hurt Luna quite a bit to hear that some digimon was just going around slaughtering digimon like that, though she quickly recalled Dust had a similar history like that. Looking down at him as he read over the message.
"I'm going." Dust said simply as he stood up, causing the Lekismon and Mastemon to back away from the Beelzemon's tall frame. "I know it won't make up for the stuff I've done, but I'm not just going to let some strangers murder whoever he likes. Besides if he wants to hunt Viruses then." Punching his fist into his open palm Dust cracked a smile. "Lets give him one to hunt." Well he seemed set on this.
"I'm going too, if this digimon's really as strong as this says I should be there to heal anyone who needs it. Poor Viruses being hunted down by some crazed digimon, no one deserves to be singled out like that." Well that was two for two, which just lead to the last one.
"I'm going as well....." However their daughter, instead of saying any interesting or neat speech related to what was going on just added. "Because I'm too scared to run the clinic without you two here..."
"So you'd rather fight a powerful digimon then be home alone?" Saya nodded quickly.
"Well lets just consider it a family outing then! This is the first time we've all fought together! With the three of us no one stands a chance!" Luna quickly digivolved into her Mega form grabbing Dust and Saya around the necks and pulling them into a hug, it was set and away they go!
Arriving there was pretty easy as being able to literally freeze the water and make a path for your motorcycle was very easy to do for a Mega level Dianamon, from there it was a simple ride over to the village, Dust riding Luna's Motorcycle with Saya in the sidecar, Luna flying next to him managing to keep pace quite easily despite the relatively fast bike.
Coming up to the village Dust quickly slowed the bike skidding against the ground, stopping a little way away from village, kicking the standout to keep it up Dust stood up before he started walking over towards the village entrance, followed by Saya who jumped out and Luna who flew next to him quickly landing back on the ground.
They got there just in time to see the Mephistomon X appear, asking quickly where their prey was. The trio walked close till they were in front of the Matadormon, Dust crossing his arms before asking. "What they said." It was most likely clear what they were here for, three Mega level digimon didn't just normally walk up on a village like this after all.

"Virus Hunter..."
Adrian repeated those words to himself as he and Shoutmon read the message on Tamernet. It had been a couple of weeks since their incident with the zombie village, where Shoutmon had unfortunately been infected and turned into the undead, before getting cured some time after. They were finally at the point where the two of them were comfortable taking jobs again as they searched through job offerings at home on Tamernet, and of course the first one they see had a bit of personal relevance to them.
A cloaked Digimon dubbed the Virus Hunter was apparently making its way to a village in the Dark Area known as Fragment Village, a place both Adrian and Shoutmon had heard of before, but never visited. This Digimon hunted Virus types exclusively, opting to ignore Data and Vaccine types in the process. The whole thing just made Adrian's blood boil... this prick was seriously murdering Digimon because they were Virus types?! That was just completely unforgivable.
A more concerning thought was plaguing Shoutmon's mind, however. "Adrian... what if this Virus Hunter ends up in Rosewood? If he hunts Virus types, then Gem... Gem's gonna be targeted by this thing at some point."
"So we have no choice but to go and stop them before they come here... but are you sure you wanna go to the Dark Area? I've only ever heard things about that place, and almost none of them were pleasant."
"Yeah, I know, but do we really have a choice? Besides, Fragment Village is said to be one of the more kind cities in the Dark Area. Weird, yeah, but not too hostile or anything like that. Come on, we'd better get going now." Considering that OmniShoutmon could fly, it didn't take long for him and Adrian to get to the Dark Area. Right when they entered, they both got an uneasy feeling as they could just feel the sheer evil surrounding them. Still, they pressed onward. They were told that a Matadormon would be waiting for them at the entrance of the village as well as other adventurers that signed up to help out.
It was plain as day to anyone who saw OmniShoutmon coming, as he was shining gold in an area that was called "the Dark Area" for quite a good reason. When he landed and set Adrian down, they both noticed the groups they would be working with. Two of which being allies of theirs, Luna and Dust, though both their signatures were very strong as they were now in their Mega forms... and they also had an unknown angelic Digimon alongside them. "Hey, Luna, Dust. Recognize us?" OmniShoutmon would ask his friends with his signature two-finger wave.
The others, however... well, they gave Adrian and OmniShoutmon bad vibes. The Tamer was around Adrian's age, and was wearing some form of royal purple, and her partnered seemed to be a literal Mephistomon X, who just simply asked where their prey was. "I should've figured the Deeplane Council would be involved in an incident involving the Dark Area," OmniShoutmon said to Akemi and Anzu... not in a snarky or derogatory way, of course.
Adrian, meanwhile, would turn to face the Matadormon. "Yeah, we're here to help with your Virus Hunter problem, as well."

Well, color Matadormon surprised. The vampiric Digimon didn't think anybody was actually gonna show up. Not many people would be willing to stick their necks out for a village of rejects and mutants (especially one located in the Dark Area). "Huh, talk about dramatic entrances. Now, what do we have here? Some kind of Mephistomon, a Dianamon, a Beelzemon, a Mastemon, and an OmniShoutmon here to play hero, eh? At least this means I won't have to risk my neck by playing bait for that Hunter. A Demon Lord would be a waaaaay more appetizing target thand a little old vampire like me."
Yeah, this Matadormon's kind of a prick. He's still the person they have to talk to regarding this mission, though, so these guys will have to put up with him for a while longer. "Anyways, you guys know the deal. Find the weirdo going around committing mass genocide, stop them from wrecking our town, yadda yadda, and bring back proof so you can get your reward and whatnot. Whatever, I don't get paid enough for this. Am I forgetting anything?"
The Matadormon stroked his chin as he pondered that question, then snapped his fingers as he remembered something. Or he tried to snap, at least. Deformed claws, and whatnot. "Oh, that's right! This chump's coming from the east, so that's your best bet to start looking for him."

First to enter, as it were. How amusing. As the other takers of the request filed in, Anzu couldn't really help but shrug at OmniShoutmon and Adrian. Same with Akemi. "It's kind of in our home turf. Not taking it would be just a little bit insulting towards the locals." The human spoke, calmly. Even as the Matadormon spoke in a rather derogatory way towards the group as a whole.
Anzu took over the duo's talk from there, though. "Ah, you're in luck, then. I was a candidate to be the Demon Lord of Wrath at one point. But make no mistake, I am no hero. To some, maybe. I'm otherwise a monster of the worst kind." A pause. "Otherwise, no, you pretty much covered all the bases. I am sorry your pay is dogshit."
The baphomet then turned to the rest of them. Pointed east, so that the Matadormon didn't need to. "So, we're heading that way. I will be forward and state that I am capable of biomerging into the level past Ultimate. So, as such, my plan is this. Go far enough east. Pull that out. Flush this edgy shitstain out, and skin him alive where he stands. If we can. Tearing his head off works wonders too."
"...Or we can just turn him back into a digiegg like normal people."
"True. They all end in the same way, really...Unless he has that Rawr XD virus."

A golden digimon admits the darkness, that was quite the interesting thing to see. Though considering they flagged them down and asked if they recognized them. Which considering the human they just put down it was pretty easy to figure out who they were. "Ah, Adrian. Shoutmon. Or I guess OmniShoutmon. I'll just stick with Shoutmon the whole things a mouthful." Which considering what she knew of the digimon's past, using the first half of that name was a bad thing to probably call him, considering their last meeting... And Luna threw that instantly out of her head and decided not to focus on that, more important stuff after all.
Dust gave a small wave, showing he at least recognized them but seemed more focused on what the digimon was saying. "Who's that dad?" Saya asked out loud, not apparently even thinking about whispering to find out.
"We did a mission together a while back, Adrian and Shoutmon. Live in the same town." Dust quickly explained, though noticeably didn't explain why she just called him dad since that was probably pretty obvious... Least he hoped it was.
Then the digimon seemed pretty rude, but honestly Dust had lived here for at least a few years and that basically just seemed par for the course. "Hero huh, first time anyone's tried to call me that. Dunno about demon lord though. Just a doctor out to do, the exact opposite of my job." Hypocritic oath be damned.
Meanwhile Luna got almost immediately distracted by the deformed claws, moving close to the Matadormon looking at them. "Oh my, these look bad. When we get back I can try and help fix these if you want? I'm a doctor over in rosewood. I might not be able to do much but I can at least try right Saya?" Rudeness was instantly met with kindness, she didn't even seem phased at the digimon's words.
"Yes mom, We'll do our best." They also seemed decently confidant they weren't gonna bite it out here.
That left Dust to address what Anzu mentioned. "Sadly this is my limit for now, same with those two. Though we have the numbers advantage so that should help a bit. Luna and my daughter can heal and revive if you get downed. I on the other hand am leaning towards your plan." While Dust wasn't fully in on the whole skinning them alive part, he was in on the whole destroying them part. "Suppose we don't need any more information than that, should head out. The earlier we catch this dastard out there the farther we'll be from the village." If no one else had anything else to say, Luna's group was ready.

"Heheheh, fair enough," OmniShoutmon said in response to Akemi's statement. "Adri and I here feel the same way about our own home turf, Rosewood. Main reason we came all the way out here to take this job is because my son's a Virus type. I won't be able to sleep at night until I'm positive this guy is taken down."
Luna did end up recognizing Adrian and OmniShoutmon which, to be fair, was probably very easy to do. Shoutmon especially was a hard Digimon to truly forget. Luna said that she'd just use his rookie form name to refer to him as, which OmniShoutmon had no objection to. "Fair. For the record, I don't mind if you decide to call me by the other half of my name," OmniShoutmon explained. "It's just a name after all, right?"
The Mastemon then spoke up, asking Dust who Adrian and OmniShoutmon were. The part that surprised them the most was the way that she called him "dad." "So, wait... you two had a kid?" Adrian asked, trying to make sure he got this right. "And she's already at the Mega level? I'm kind of lost..." Although considering that they were here to complete a job, there was probably no time to actually dwell on that at the moment.
...wow, neither Adrian nor OmniShoutmon can recall any Digimon they had met that was nearly as rude as the Matadormon here. Not only that, but his claws were so deformed that it took all of OmniShoutmon's willpower to not blurt out and ask about it, or to even acknowledge it that much, and Adrian was no different. "Noooot the best idea to try and tick off five Digimon of greater strength than you. Especially ones that actually wanna help."
Luna had no such self control though, and immediately offered to fix them up for the Matadormon if he so desired... and of course, she didn't even seem remotely phased by his words. This caused Adrian and OmniShoutmon to both have anime-esque sweatdrops as they saw this interaction happening. This was definitely Luna, alright.
The Matadormon didn't give much information on the mission outside of the basics, which was to hunt down the Virus Hunter before he got to the village and murdered everyone, as well as bringing back proof. The most he added was that he was going to be coming from the east, which actually was pretty helpful. The Mephistomon X mentioned that they were able to Biomerge to some level past Mega, which Adrian and OmniShoutmon instantly remembered that mission with the Shademon, where they seemed to be connected on some kind of spiritual level.
Would we even be able to pull that off again? We might have to, if this hunter is as strong as we were told.
The... Rawr XD virus? Adrian could've sworn he heard that name before... ah, that's it! The ExD virus, the one that Kaya had told him and Shoutmon about once before. "I've heard of that virus... a friend of mine fought infected Digimon before, said it was one of the most horrifying things she had ever seen. Let's just hope to the Digimon god that the Virus Hunter isn't infected with it."

OmniShoutmon's statement about it being unwise to tick off higher-level Digimon didn't really bother Matadormon very much. "Meh, you lot don't seem like the loading type, so at worst I'd probably just get turned back into an egg. At least in my next life, I might have some fingers that aren't messed up."
He was somewhat surprised by the reveal of the young Mastemon being the daughter of the Dianamon and Beelzemon. If a relatively young Digimon like that already made it to Mega, then the group might have a much better chance at stopping the Virus hunter from trashing the village. But what totally caught Matadormon off-guard was Luna's completely honest offer to try and fix his claws after the job was done. That act of pure kindness, after a lifetime of being looked down upon for his deformity, just left the vampiric Digimon completely stunned for a moment. After regaining his wits, however, the Matadormon pulled a complete 180 with his behavior.
" Alright, then! If there's anything else I can do to help you guys before you head out, then just let me know!" Matadormon cheerfully told the group while flashing them a thumbs-up. Gone was the derogatory attitude from earlier, now replaced by a genuine desire to help. Matadormon didn't care if it ended up looking like he was sucking up to them now, if it meant he might finally have a chance to get his claws fixed. Kilometers to the east, the Virus Hunter was still making its way towards the village at a casual walking speed, only briefly pausing to deal with the latest Virus-type to cross its path, a Climbmon that was currently pinned underneath the Hunter's boot.
"No, please! I've never hurt anyone in my entire life! Have Mercy!" The Climbmon begged in terror, tears streaming down it's face as it begged for it's life.
Sadly, the insect Digimon's pleas fell on deaf ears. The Hunter merely stared at it emotionlessly as it pressed down harder on the Ultimate with it's foot. "ALL VIRUSES MUST BE DELETED."
The Climbmon screamed as the Hunter's armored foot broke through his exoskeleton and crush the soft body underneath. It was a painful death for the Ultimate, who continued screaming as his body dissolved into data bits. However, instead of the normal data that usually would return to the Village of Beginnings for reincarnation, this Climbmon's data bits were a bright red, merely fading away as they were permanently deleted.
The Virus Hunter took no joy in the latest addition to its bodycount. In fact, it felt absolutely nothing at all at the violent act, as if it was something as miniscule as swatting a fly.

"Eh. He's just like that. If there's any fees involved with fixing that I'd be happy to lend a hand, either way. We got work to do, though. Let's leave that for later. Several megas and one beyond that is already a pretty decent group." When they were absolutely sure that some impossibly stronk bitch wasn't about to come level the whole Dark Area just because he could.
If there had been nothing else to question or discuss along the way, Akemi and Anzu would take point, leading the group eastwards. "I had been keeping an eye on that one--It's fascinating in a way thanks to how downright alien it was, even for this world. Yet it's also ephemeral. Fleeting." Akemi shrugged.
If it resurfaced, so be it. But they didn't get any indicator that the Hunter had anything like that. And given it was said to be KILOMETERS to the east, it was going to be a hefty trip. A ways along, Anzu would put some effort into magnifying her signal, as well as bothering to allow the one thing she kept very much under wraps about herself to be discerned within her signal.
The potentiality to have been one of the Demon Lords.
If the Hunter could even pick those signals up?
Then he would see one who bore the makings to become Wrath among the group. "If it's coming this way, then...Akemi, do the thing. Otherwise, here's hoping this bait works." Anzu said, grimly.
...She smelled blood in the air. A constant for this place...

Luna shrugged at Shoutmon's assurance to use the other half of the name. "Eh, Shoutmon fits you better I think.,, Which actually that might sound rude because that means I think you shout a lot which i can't confirm nor deny if you do." Can he read minds? Is Shoutmon a mind reader. Wonder if he's reading her thoughts right now. If so that's a massive invasion of privacy and if he's reading her mind now he should know she's very disappointed with him.
Oh right yeah he didn't know they had a kid. "Yup, this is our lovely daughter Saya, say hi!" Luna presented her kid like it was a grandiose thing, with both her arms out and everything, though the Mastemon just gave a small wave in response.
"As for why she's Mega level, we actually don't know. She just seemed to start at that level. Can't degenerate back either for some reason no matter how tired she seems to get." At least from what she told them, it was quite the weird situation.
"I was at the village of beginnings, then one day I woke up like this and they chased me out because they thought I was attacking. I just couldn't control my strength." Even now if one was to start sensing energy it would be leaking out of her, almost like a beacon of strength pouring out every which way.
"If you want we'll fill you in more later, best to focus on the task at hand, ya?" Their daughters' weird situation was the least of their worries at the moment after all.
The Matadormon seemed to switch his tune at Luna's kindness and offered what he could do. "Thank you, I appreciate the offer. Just keep watch towards the east in case he slips by us and be ready. I know it'll be scary with that thing out there but I believe in you." That was the best help he could do for them at the moment she figured, nothing really more to do but go hunt this dastard down.
With that in case nothing else needed to be said the trio would join them moving towards the east and towards the dangerous foe, Luna didn't seem scared in the slightest holding onto her smile, which in turn seemed to help Saya who wasn't as confidant as the Dianamon but seemed to find confidence in her parents being nearby.
Dust on the other hand, he was doing something similar to what Anzu was doing, focusing on magnifying his signal, letting more and more power slip out. It was something he had to work hella hard to keep contained, living in Rosewood after all he'd easily get people afraid of him if he let everything out, hard to be a doctor when people are scared of approaching you.
But here it was different, maybe it was the area that called to that part of him. He had tried to bury it before but quickly realized that wouldn't work. Can't exactly bury what you are, may not be everything he was but it was a part of him and it was needed now more then ever. He might not be a demon lord, he did care for his life now more than anything.
But Anzu wasn't the only monster here and they didn't need a doctor now, what they needed was what Dust was going to give them, so he released all the energy he kept pent up, eyes narrowing and filled once more with anger putting himself in that mindset he had before he reincarnated. The hunter would sense something most foul, a dangerous aura that once made many quake in fear at his arrival.
Once more the Tyrant who had hunted much the same a lifetime ago, was released.

"Even if we're not the loading type, you shouldn't be so callous with your life," OmniShoutmon said to Matadormon in a weirdly supportive tone. "Even if reforming into an egg will fix your claws, it's not exactly a clean reset. No matter what kind of hand you've been given, you should actively work to make it better instead of hoping things will be better in your next life. Ya know what I'm saying?" Might've been out of place for OmniShoutmon to say this sort of thing, but he genuinely was trying to help Matadormon out here. And he was just hoping Matadormon wouldn't take it the wrong way.
Luckily for Luna, OmniShoutmon was not a mind reader. He also did not think Luna was being rude by saying that the name Shoutmon fit him better than Omni. While the mystery of Saya and her being born as a Mega level was interesting and worth discussing later, Dust had a point: they had a job to do. And thanks to Luna offering to fix Matadormon's claws, he was more than willing to help the group out now. His entire demeanor had changed, too. OmniShoutmon chuckled. "You see what I mean now, Matadormon?"
"Now let's hope we can take care of that Virus Hunter as quick. The east you said, right?" Adrian looked around. Unless Matadormon literally pointed in that direction, he was absolutely unable to tell which way was actually east. He'd just rely on the fact the others can tell east from west and follow them... actually, except for Luna. Kaya told him stories about her ending up in the completely wrong place of the Digital World before. Maybe following Akemi and Anzu would be for the best. After following the others, Adrian and OmniShoutmon would both notice the way that Anzu and Dust were both amplifying their power and magnifying their digital signature. It made sense to them; they were both virus types, and this hunter was going after virus type Digimon exclusively. Adrian decided that he too would attempt to help out for when the monster got here. He pulled out the V-Saber card from it, slashing it while also activating the trap card function. Once that Virus Hunter makes its way here, the card will activate and OmniShoutmon will deal one hell of a wallop sword slash attack to whatever this thing is. Even if it's some kind of Super Mega, something like this should definitely still phase it somewhat.
Trap Card Activated!
WG-32 Card Name: V-Saber Type: Upgrade Rank: Platinum Duration: 3 Post Effect: The target Digimon summons UlforceVeedramon's V-Saber. It is a swift and lightweight blade that pierces through armor.
Cards Remaining: 6/7

OmniShoutmon's little speech about working to make his life better did manage to reach Matadormon, who silently considered for a moment before accepting that the golden Digimon had a point. "You know what, you're right. Whether my claws get fixed or not, I'm gonna go out there and make something of myself (assuming we survive this mess)! Gotta live life to the fullest, after all!" With that, Matadormon happily waved the group off as they left to track down the Virus Hunter. Even though the group had traveled a fair distance before Anzu and Dust unleashed their Demon Lord-level data signatures, Matadormon felt a chill go down his spine as he managed to feel it all the way from Fragment Village. "Oooooh, boy. I guess I'm lucky these guys were so forgiving."
Matadormon wasn't the only one who felt the two digimon unleash their dark auras, as the Virus Hunter also took notice of them almost immediately. Demon Lords. The highest priority of Viruses to be deleted. The Virus hunter immediately abandoned the current Virus Digimon he'd been hunting after finishing off the Climbmon earlier, and immediately began flying towards the group that was trying to lure him out. It wouldn't take him long to catch up to them. As the Hunter landed next to the group, it drew it's broken sword, encased in a red energy blade, as it looked over the group. "MEPHISTOMON, BEELZEMON. HIGH PRIORITY VIRUSES FOR DELETION. MOVING TO ENGAGE. TRANSCENDENT SWORD!"With that declaration of intent, Omegamon Zwart Defeat charged straight towards Dust, intending to bisect the Beelzemon with its flaming sword.
Omegamon Zwart Defeat: -Virus Buster (passive): Omegamon Zwart D's attacks deal 25% more damage to all Virus-attribute opponents. -Dark Knight (passive): Omegamon Zwart D's basic attacks deal as much damage as 0-CD named attacks. -Transcendent Sword: Omegamon Zwart D enshrouds its red energy blade in powerful flames, used to either deliver a powerful flaming slash or launch a flaming energy wave at his target (same damage either way). 1 CD, partial piercing.

The resolve to make a better person of oneself was not lost on Akemi and Anzu--it actually kept them from feeling utterly enraged at what was to come. "Smart card slash--if he ends up taking a swing at you, it'll definitely bite back...Emphasis on if. Hopefully, you won't take anything." Anzu mused, as the Hunter made an impactful entrance. A cloak, claws, a blade and a cannon, this was- "An Omegamon?!" Akemi was legitimately shocked at the state of this one. What -was- this? As the Hunter charged Dust, Akemi had to focus. "Anzu!" She called out, raising a hand as a sigil that many may recognize as depicting the Code Crown of Wrath appeared on the back of her hand. "I'm with you, ever and always. Matrix...!" "Evolution!"A baleful purple light surrounded the area, as Anzu faded into mists, flowing towards Akemi as the girl sported a saw-toothed slasher of a grin, her eyes going from brown to an eerie blue. The girl seemed to move with a preternatural speed to shield Dust as her -form- seemed to shear it's own skin off, fur, claws, and robes seeming to form in it's place as their form expanded to something truly evil. Daemon had no words. Daemon simply interceded between Dust and the Hunter, moving aside a bit as a blade sank into her shoulder and drew 'blood'. It wasn't a full bisection, as the Hunter was confronted with a Super Mega. The robed individual seemed to grin, even as SIZABLE damage was already inflicted onto her. "Card Slash. Digital Hazard. You will be well versed in suffering when WE are through with you."As if the appearance of a Demon Lord wasn't bad enough (even if it was far from the True Deal), the Digital Hazard appeared on her chest--and her power seemed to swell as she simply put a finger forth and fired a crimson bolt of lightning at the Hunter! "AKMIN KURAI!"...This was a high cooldown attack. Boosted by two things--a passive activating, and the Digital Hazard. Though it was done with great effort and pain, would it even work?
Relevant Passives: There are a LOT here. They're spoilered under their respective categories here. Team Passives: Will of the Council [Team Ability - Passive]: All the members of this team and the abilities performed by them can choose to completely ignore the effects of passive defensive abilities that might affect them in any way. Council's Accord [Team Ability #2 - Passive]: Team members can choose whether their abilities affect anyone or anything subjected to them or not. Form Passives: Dark Virus [RAM Upgrade Giga]: An echo of an active ability far along the evolutionary line for Anzu. Dark Virus enables her to freely manipulate the feelings of any Digimon, at a few costs and stipulations. One, she will encounter difficulties utilizing this on Digimon higher than her current level, as they will be able to resist this easily, while digimon of an equivalent level have a slightly more difficult time resisting this. It goes to say that the higher Anzu's level of evolution, the more easily she can make use of Dark Virus. Two, she can only drive her target to one of two emotional extremes at a time, namely extreme anger, or peace. And three, she can only make use of Dark Virus once every three rounds. She -could- use it on herself, but that's...a very bad idea. All around. Four, she can only use this on one target at a time, and the target has to be at least within three yards of her. And five, the emotions instilled upon this only last for three rounds.
Discretion [Passive]: None of Daemon’s moves can cause friendly fire.
Devilmon [Passive]: Taking after the common depiction of the devil in various media, Daemon is -completely- immune to fire. Not just her robes, but as a whole. However, holy water is something that is particularly painful to Daemon as a result
Autoimmune Erasure [Passive]: Every three turns, Daemon is capable of making one of her attacks ignore any and all resistances/shields, dealing full damage.
Bass finally writes a fucking Biomerge on this site, and Akemi and Anzu Matrix Digivolve into Shrouded Daemon, who immediately moves to defend Dust at the expense of being damaged quite heftily. They activate Digital Hazard, using 1 card slash of 7, and since Platinum is the level directly below her? She can still act. SO SHE USES FINGER OF DEATH, AMPED UP BY AUTOIMMUNE ERASURE. Due to how that move is written, Finger of Death is empowered FURTHER. Autoimmune Erasure [Passive]: Every three turns, Daemon is capable of making one of her attacks ignore any and all resistances/shields, dealing full damage. Finger of Death [RAM Upgrade]: A power most foul gathers within Daemon’s hand as she reaches out, a bolt of red lightning surging forth from her finger. As simple an attack as this seems, it’s incredibly potent in power, striking through any active shields for a heavy amount of damage. If Autoimmune Erasure is utilized to enhance this move, it will double the amount of damage that Daemon causes with this move instead of conferring a piercing effect. Four turn cooldown. DA-33 Card Name: Digital Hazard Type: Upgrade Rank: Platinum Duration: 3 Posts Effect: The Digital Hazard symbol emblazons on the target Digimon's chest, removing all thoughts but battle from their mind. It gives huge boosts to all stats at the cost of steadily and badly hurting them. Durations: Digital Hazard - 0/3 Cooldowns: Finger of Death - 0/4 Autoimmune Erasure - 0/3

" Omegamon..." Dust echoed though didn't seem as surprised about this fact, it had to be something powerful and most likely part of the vaccine family. Though the appearance didn't fit that of the Omegamon Dust was used to, sadly he wasn't really able be alone with his thoughts right now since it had decided that he was a priority target. Dust threw his hand to the side signaling Luna and Saya beside him to spread out while Omegamon went towards him, this was prefect for him. While he would have to be more careful, he preferred being closer to his opponent. Spreading his stance low getting ready for the attack. Though it would never come as he heard the words digivolution and before he knew it there was a digimon standing before him, like him they were one of the digimon known as a Demon lord. Despite the appearance though it was pretty easy to tell that it was most likely his ally for this mission. " 'preciate it." Dust gave a small smirk as he jumped backwards away from the Omegamon. " Luna, Saya!" Dust called out towards the two Mega level digimon who were now behind the Omegamon, flying a decent height above the Super Mega digimon. " Beholding Light, shine down upon thee and engulf them-" Luna chanted causing many different golden arrows to appear around the Omegamon, hovering slightly above them for a moment. " In a raging fire, purging them in light!" Saya finished the chant as all the arrows around the Omegamon would suddenly fly towards him, if he didn't move he'd be impaled from all sides by the sudden assault of light piercing every part of their body. Even if he moved he'd at least take a few shots considering the amount of arrows surrounding his position. Dust had retreated a decent distance from the Omegamon and Anzu, though he didn't have a clear shot at the moment he decided to watch, hand on his gun. If Omegamon moved Dust would try and follow, he might be slower than that hunter but hopefully he'd at least be able to catch them if they tried to avoid or go through Luna and Saya's onslaught.
Luna C.A: Luna flies above Omegamon and pelts him with 15 arrows using Beholding Light to rain a blinding flash of light onto the Virus Hunter.
Move Used: [Beholding Light]: Luna flies into the air for a moment holding her weapon up before creating 15 ice arrows that surround an opponent before they fly at them in a volley of five at a time. 3 post cool down.
Current Cool Downs: BL: 0/3 Dust C.A: Dust uses the moment Anzu bought him to disengage with the hunter, backing off and looking for a better moment to strike.
Move Used: None
Current Cool Downs: Saya C.A: Saya flies next to her mother and uses the same skill to impale Omegamon with arrows of light.
Move Used: [Beholding Light]: Saya rises up before creating 15 arrows of light behind herself before firing them all at one opponent pelting them in a rain of light. 3 post cool down.
