"Cute and smart." The gotsumon said, grinning at Hiro, "Yer just gettin' better an' better~" Before she could continue, he brought up the deal. "Aw, don't tell me you don't like me?" She said, leaning in close to him and giving him puppy-dog eyes. Thankfully for Hiro, AJ's rant caught her attention before she could do much else. "Alright, alright kid, calm down! Is it wrong for me to want to use my legs after being stuck in a statue for hundreds of years? It's not like I'm hurting her or anything... she can have my body, but until she wears herself out she's gonna be stuck like this. I don't write these rules, I just follow 'em." The Gotsumon began doing a series of exaggerated body motions before laughing. "Yeah, sorry, I'll give it back now."
Carrie was back in control... kinda, she was still a gotsumon but she could at least be able to choose what the gotsumon did. "I... I-I can explain..." She said, realizing that Gotsumon had spilled the beans about her mental health. "I... Um..." Carrie gave back Tetsu, carefully. "S-sorry..."

"I...uh..." Hiro was definitely uncomfortable with the Gotsumon so close to him. He had no idea why the Digimon seemed so intent on flirting with him and he had no real idea how to respond to it. All he knew was that he wanted this entire conversation to end. Luckily, it seemed that A.J. picked up on his point and continued on the track he had meant to follow.
The Gotsumon seemed to understand, though Hiro wondered about the sincerity of the Digimon, and returned control of the body to Carrie. He noted the changed body language and voice. It was kind of jarring to watch.
"Right, thanks." Hiro muttered as he accepted Tetsu from Carrie. The fox Digimon squirmed in his grip so he placed him on the ground where he ran over to Patch. "Um... are you... alright? We didn't really do... much..." Hiro finished awkwardly as he started to fiddle with his bangs. He was still trying to get over the whole, rock golem flirting with him, thing.
The uncomfortable teen shot A.J. a panicked look and mouthed 'Help' in English.

AJ made a sound in the back of her throat and pouted slightly when the Gotsumon called her "kid" and told her to "calm down." She sighed and listened to the rock Digimon go on and on. She definitely had attitude, or whatever you might call it.
It was very obvious when Carrie came back around cause she was back to her usual shy self and she even handed Tetsu back to Hiro. Carrie seemed almost adverse to the fox-like Digimon.
When Hiro shot her that look and mouthed "help," which she wondered if Carrie could understand English, she glanced back over at Hiro and talked to him in English. Since Carrie was back to herself, she might not understand, but it had been convenient that the Gotsumon had understood, or at least she guessed she had understood since AJ had been speaking English this whole time. "I'm not exactly sure what to do. Can you ask her if there is anything else? I mean, maybe we should help her get back to her human form."
AJ placed her palm against her cheek thoughtfully. The Gotsumon had said something about "wearing herself down." Did that mean they had to get Carrie to be tired so she could go back to being human? if so, how would they do that? But that was when it struck her. How did you tire a Digimon? You made them fight. But of course, they would have to get her to consent. It would be really wrong if they sent Tetsu and Patch against her if she didn't want to fight. Maybe it would be a good idea if she was to get used to this form. She tugged on Hiro's sleeve and brought him closer to the door and explained her plan. "I think if she is up for it, we can have Patch and Tetsu go against her in a mock fight. They can't be too rough, but if they can make her tired, she might return to her normal self. Do you mind asking her if it's okay?"

Carrie looked worried as the two began talking to themselves, leaving her alone with Gotsumon. "What do you think they're talkin' about?" The mon asked, much to her annoyance. "Us." She answered bluntly, hoping the mon would hear her thoughts so she wouldn't be talking to herself. "...Speak up kid, yer too quiet." Moaning, Carrie excused herself from the room and entered the kitchen to start talking to the voice she could only hear. "Us. They're talking about US. They're probably saying that I'm some kind of freak who talks to herself." "Aw, now yer just tryin' ta make EVERYONE feel bad, kid." "It's true and you know it..." Carrie countered. "Kid, I know you have issues, but it's for the best you start to learn to listen to the voices in your head." "That's the polar OPPOSITE of logic! I'm not listening to you, it's as poor an idea as listening to the one that tried to convince me my mother was the devil... oh god, are the others listening to me right now? Oh no..."
"Kid, kid... calm down. Listen reeeeal carefully. I've heard the other things in yer head, they ain't... good, like, at all. But they're behind this ugh... I dunno how to describe it. It's like... a brick wall, but not actually a literal wall... whatever, it's keeping them away from the good parts of yer head. The parts that lets you hear me. You with me?" "N-no, not at all..." "Too bad, point is I ain't gonna be the last voice in yer head fer long. I tol'ja before, but you were busy freakin' out. You gotta get used ta this 'r ya'll never make friends with the other spirits of metal." Gotsumon said. "Spirits of metal? Are... you're making that up." "The next one'll tell ya more, and you'll like 'r more. I'll be quiet, I think it's best you go back to yer friends now."
"I..." Sighing, Carrie did as ordered, not having much else of a choice.

Hiro felt bad. He had honestly been relieved when Carrie had left the room for a moment, if only because the Gotsumon had made him seriously uncomfortable. Still, he had come here to help Carrie, so a little discomfort should have been nothing.
He listened to A.J. talk and slowly let the embarrassment and flustered feels fade away. He did agree that getting Carrie human again would probably be best. Not only would it probably calm the girl down, but the last thing they needed was someone returning home to find Carrie as a talking Golem.
"I... that sounds kind of dangerous." Hiro had yet to really let Tetsu let loose, but he had gotten a feel for his partner's relative power level. The little guy could do some serious damage with his attacks and he wasn't exactly comfortable letting him duke it out with a human, even if they had been turned into a Digimon. "I mean, even if she agrees where are we even going to have them fight? Tetsu would do a lot of damage if he missed an attack."
"Hey, I'll have you know my aim is awesome." The Digimon in questioned defended himself.
Hiro ignored him. He saw Carrie come back into the room and he struggled to read the girl's body language. Gotsumon was thankfully humanoid so some things carried over, but the face wasn't that expressive compared to a human one. Still, she looked kind of down. They needed to do something.
"Carrie, can you come over here for a bit?" Hiro waved the girl over back towards them. "Alright, so we kind of want to get you back to normal. So we need to burn off energy. We... uh... we have an idea, but it's something of a last resort so if you or Gotsumon have any ideas please chime in." The teen sighed and fiddled with his bangs in a nervous moment before biting the bullet. "Digimon seem to spend most of their energy fighting, so we were thinking of either having you throw out a bunch of attacks to exhaust yourself or maybe fighting a Digimon, more specifically sparring with Tetsu or Patch. It'd burn energy faster and get you a little more used that body, though it's all on you. If you don't want to do this, we'll try to find another way."
He looked over at A.J. "Anything else you want to add?"

AJ's eyes followed the rock Rookie as she exited the room and headed towards what seemed the kitchen. She frowned, worrying that Carrie was probably thinking they were talking bad about her. But in all reality, the Italian tamer really just wanted to help her new found friend. Or at least she considered the Spirit Wielder to be a friend since she had called her in her time of need.
When Hiro voiced his worries, she nodded. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Patch has gotten stronger actually. It's strange. But what if we kept them at the in-training level. There are two of them and maybe they won't get that hurt. If we need them to digivolve to the next level, they can go to Rookie. Let's just see what she has to say." She glanced down at Patch, who had been playing with Tetsu. HIs wide amber orbs blinked and she shook her head, meaning she would explain in a few minutes.
As Hiro explained the idea, AJ chewed on her bottom lip as nervous habit. She didn't intend to hurt the girl, but if they could help her get back to her human form, she might feel better and they could probably go home. When Hiro asked her if there was anything else, she merely shrugged. "We can keep our partners at their low level. They are currently at a level below you. There are two of them, but you shouldn't have a problem. I think you need to get used to having these powers. I had to get used to Patch wanting to fight. There is a reason you have them and you might as well be able to protect yourself. Our partners do that for us. But it's like Hiro said, it's all on you, girl."

"Fighting?" She asked, worried. "I-I don't know the first thing about fighting! L-let alone in this body... G-gotsumon might know b-but I just got my control back a-and..." She listened to AJ explain, staying silent and thinking what she said. "P-protect myself? Against what? I-I thought you said that digimon were f-friendly... th-they're not all cute and cuddly, b-but they're friendly... r-right?" She could hear Gotsumon laughing in her head. "Yer more delusional than you think, kid! Some digimon are friendly, sure, but most of 'em would love ta tear ya limb from limb! Goin' inta th' digital world with that kinda attitude is practically suicide!"
Carrie looked at her companions. "Er... I... after brief... c-consideration, I've decided to... um..." She tried to think of how to phrase this. "I... Yes, I'll d-do it... b-but we can't fight here! A-and you have to promise to be careful! I-I dunno what my powers are or... h-how destructive they are s-so we need to do this somewhere secretive. Th-there should be a few abandoned places a-around town we could try and do this at... r-right?" She began thinking herself about any location that would be suitably empty without being incredibly dangerous, incredibly destructible, or incredibly attention-grabbing. She'd snap her fingers... if her fingers weren't just rocks, that is, as she thought of the perfect place. "The abandoned school! N-nobody goes there a-and it's already destroyed, i-it's not like anyone would notice something happening there... r-right?"

OOC: Should we close this one up and move to another?
Hiro mentally winced at the whole, 'All Digimon are friendly' comment. He knew that was going to bite him in the ass sometime later. Oh well, it had been useful back than and pretty easy to smooth over. "Yeah, that whole all Digimon are friendly thing... I was wrong." Hiro shrugged noncommittally and let a weak smile grace his face. "All of the Digimon I had met up to then had been friendly, heck, I still haven't run into a bad or mean Digimon, but I'm assured that they are out there."
"It's true." Tetsu said sagely. "There are a bunch of jerks out there. Battle crazy guys, mischievous Digimon that'll hurt you for a laugh or just Strays that won't take no for an answer."
Hiro listened to Carrie stutter her way through some options until she came up with the abandoned school and winced at the thought of going into that place. It wasn't that he was scared or anything, he just... well, he didn't like abandoned places like that. All silent and broken down like they would fall apart under his feet.
"Ugh, I..." However, he couldn't really think of a better place nearby. It was a sad truth of living in a city as crowded as Tokyo. "I can't think of a better option." Hiro said defeated as he mentally accepted that he was going to step into that death trap. "It's probably our best option and it would give us some room if we need Patch and Tetsu to Digivolve."
The last thing they needed was one of Tetsu's Metal Cannon's going off target and into the city.
"We'll have to make sure it's abandoned though, we wouldn't want to tick off some gangs or something squatting in there." An 'abandoned' area seemed like the perfect place for bad people to gather after all.

AJ shot Hiro a dirty look when Carrie brought up the "all Digimon are friendly" comment he had used to calm her down. Oh well, what else were they supposed to do in that situation? Actually, if she had not encountered them on that rooftop, would this situation be so much worse?
When Carrie stuttered about not knowing how to fight, AJ smiled softly at her then glanced down at the in-training Patch. "Don't worry. We'll show you first. But it's not gonna be a real fight. It's only gonna be like a spar, a practice fight. And yes, there are bad Digimon...I've met them. They're not fun. You need to be able to protect yourself." She shuddered internally thinking back to the Gazimon and the Vikaralamon.
When they mentioned an abandoned high school, the Italian teen just kind of shrugged. "I'm up for anything. I do agree that we need a lot of room. If this place really is abandoned, it probably won't matter if they destroy anything." Patch could get a bit messy, especially in his Leomon form when he threw around his fiery punches. Hopefully it wouldn't come down to that though. She figured Gotsumon was a Rookie. So Patch and Tetsu might be able to handle their own on the in-training level, but there was always the chance that they might have to go up one level.
She headed towards the door then glanced back at Carrie and Hiro. "How are we gonna get her there? I mean, last time I checked, it didn't matter the country, a walking, talking rock wasn't exactly the norm. Do you have any clothes you can throw on and then we can head out?"
[OOC: sounds good to me.]

Carrie whimpered, not exactly enjoying anywhere where this discussion was going. Between talks of the fact he lied to her to the more disturbing realization that some digimon were just straight up homocidal maniacs, she was getting closer and closer to shutting the door on those two and crying... Gotsumon's laughter was not helping her either.
Thankfully AJ spoke up before this could happen, letting her carefully unwind after what Tetsu had dropped onto her like a pile of bricks. "R-right... j-just a spar." She said, purposely ignoring her statement about bad digimon.
"I-I don't think gangs go there... there's too many rumors about hauntings to have something like that happen... y-yeah, l-let's... yeah..." She was still shaking like a leaf but the change in subject once more helped a bit. "R-right, a dis-disguise... I can do that... j-just... um... I-if you wanna go with me j-just stay here a-and I'll see what I can do... O-OK?" She ran off to gather what she could.

"Well, may as well scout out the area." Hiro sighed as Carrie ran off. He picked up Tetsu and threw up a lazy wave as he headed towards the door. "A.J., sorry but could you stay with Carrie and keep an eye on her. The last thing we need is for her to panic while in that form."
Hiro wasn't quite sure that the high school was as abandoned as everyone thought. Places like that were frequently taken in by other things. While he wasn't expecting a full gang headquarters, he was expecting some delinquents or maybe a Stray Digimon hiding in the building.
Hiro left the room head out the door with his thoughts stuck on their destination.
"We may need to clear out any rabble." Hiro murmured to himself.
"Rabble?"
"Dunno, we'll see." Hiro patted Tetsu reassuringly. He was hoping it was nothing, but his luck has been odd lately.

When Carrie came back wearing....well whatever she was wearing, it seemed their little expedition was to start. She really had no idea where this abandoned high school was, so she decided she would follow them. She wondered how this would turn out. She was more accustomed to Patch actually fighting, especially since her visit to the Digital World, but she still couldn't help but experience that pang of anxiety.
She knelt down to place Patch back in her backpack, allowing him to snuggle into her purple jacket. She flipped the flap back over and hoisted it onto her shoulders. She followed silently after the other two teens, closing the door behind her.
