Carrie takes a deep breath as she leaves the trailmon, stepping onto the fresh grass and enjoying the clean, artificial air. "Wow." She said, smiling as she set her bag down. "It's only my second time here, but it still feels like I belong." She confessed, almost forgetting she was with someone. The fields of the digital world spanned as far as the eye could see, looking more like a shoddy Disney imitation of Holland than any real location. The sky was blue and had... unusual circuit board-like objects floating among the clouds that showed the inner workings of the digital world, wires and electricity included. But she ignored those, they kind of ruined the beauty.
She turned to her friend, clearing her throat. "Uh, right, yeah... I um... I'm probably um... well, there's something I should probably tell you about uh... gotsumon, before I let her out. She's kinda rough."

Shiro excitedly hopped off the train! "That's more like it!" He squeeled, excitedly. Shiro loved the Digital World and everything in it! Especially being able to go out without being stuck in Kai's bag! the creature wasn't claustrophobic, per se, but he hated being restrained like that! But out in the Digital World... He was free! Free to run around without fear of being seen! He loved it!
Kuro might not mind the Digital World as she once did... But she still made sure to stay close to Kai. It was dangerous here, he may need her protection. So did Shiro, but he was slightly more capable of defending himself than the human boy. The human boy, who was currently talking to his companion. "Err... Rough? What do you mean by that?" Sandpaper was rough. Shiro was rough. Both his fur, and his inability to read the mood. How rough was her spirit that she felt the need to warn him about it?

"Well..." Carrie tried to think of how to warn them as she took out her digivice. "Well, she's uh... she enjoys being in charge, doesn't know her own strength, I have a LITTLE power over her, she's made of rocks... Actually I should probably just show you." She looked over the digivice and tried to summon the data within her. as the spinning barcode became present she quickly scanned it. In a flash of brilliant, blinding light she became-
Two feet shorter, made of rocks, and gained the voice of a chain-smoking Grandmother. The gotsumon stretched out, giving some deep sighs. "Ugh, I've been stuck in there forever, geeze. You'd think with how much she'd need me she'd lemme out more often." Gotsumon approached Kai, offering a rocky hand. "Gotsumon, spirit of metal, pleased ta meetcha. About time she started makin' more friends and stop ignorin' me. I mean, you may not be as cute as the otha boy she's met, but I suppose you can be hers." It was becoming clear that Carrie was, unfortunately, not exaggerating.

Kai barely had the time to react, but the girl had already made her transformation. He found him awkwardly looking down at a vaguely humanoid pile of rocks. Okay, so far, so good. He took the offered handshake, and was about to say something when she spoke again. Wait, what? "Err... What?" Kai either didn't understand what the Digimon Spirit was hinting at... Or didn't want to understand. Either way, he hurried on so she wouldn't have a chance to clarify. Poor Carrie, must be so mortified in there. Rough was right!
"Anyways! Carrie said to leave it to you where to go. So, what did you have in mind?"

"Where to go..." Gotsumon looked around, humming and trying to think of what to do. She had forgotten to let go of the boy's hand, so as she turned he was forced to follow as well. "Well, I'd show ya where I got turned into an element, but that don't seem very lovely, hm?" She finally let go of his hand to snap her fingers. (Don't ask how.)
"I got it, you humans like food, right? We just have a picnic right here!" She paused and set down the backpack Carrie was wearing during her change. She dug around, tossing aside pill bottles and books, both of which looking rather important. "Darn, Carrie really had no idea what to do in the digital world..." The gotsumon began wandering around, hands behind her head. "Well, not that food matters to me anyways, I don't have a tongue... I think." She turned to look at Kai, "Anyways, if Carrie wasn't so scared of everythin' I'd say we go to the volcanoes. But 'eh, you humans melt, don'tcha? And ya freeze, and you get thirsty, and ya drown... really, you humans suck compared to digimon." Gotsumon laughed.

"Err..." Kai started. Shouldn't he say something? Somehow, tossing books and what appeared to be medicine everywhere... Didn't seem like a good idea. At the very least, once she stopped throwing things everywhere, he bent down and began picking things up. It was only polite! He had no clue how to handle Gotsumon! She was like... A bigger Shiro, without Kuro to keep an eye on him! Should... he ask for her to change back to Carrie? Would she even do it if he asked her to?
"Haha! Yeah, Kai's weak! But it's okay! Cause I'm strong and I'll keep him safe!" Shiro boasted proudly. He had absolutely no doubts in his own strength. The same couldn't be said for those around him, though.

Carrie had an assorted amount of books, ranging from typical school fair to a novel that appeared to have been read over and over and over again. Something about an Inferno? Carrie carried several bottles of pills: Aspirins, Anti-Depressants, ziprasidone, and clomipramine. Gotsumon shook her head at Shiro. "Yeah? You think you're strong huh? How 'bout a fight?" She asked, approaching Shiro and smiling down on him. "I'll take you one on one, and that'll shows ya who's boss here." Gotsumon teased even as Carrie's voice nagged in her head not too.

"If it's a fight you want, a fight you'll get!" Shiro grinned viciously, as Kai groaned. "Stay outta this one, sis, it's my fight!" Kuro had absolutely no intention of butting in. She did hope that this would be over soon. She had no time for random fighting among friends. Kai, too, was not particularly desirous of a fight. Which was why he wouldn't be Digivolving Shiro for it. Not that the catlike Digimon cared, as assured of his own victory as he was. He took his stance. As strong as he was, he could afford to let her attack first! That'd make things fair! Well, not really. But closer!

Silence fell on the plains, wind blew through the air and Gotsumon stared at her opponent. She took mental stock of what could possibly happen: Her opponent was smaller than her, and certainly seemed to have the body to match. A single rock to the face would stop him dead in his tracks, she'd think. But the problem would arise from the fact he'd move. She'd seen how he seamlessly weaved through a crowd, he'd be behind her long before the rock would have left her palm. One of her fingers twitched, almost as if feeling for a pistol that wasn't there.
"You two might wish to step back..." She said to Shiro's companions, cracking her knuckles. "EARTH!" She raises her hands in the air dramatically then brings them down in a single, brisk motion. "SHAKER!" After a pause the ground began rumbling, trembling underneath the two as Gotsumon's move worked its magic. Although not inherently dangerous, the earth shook enough to throw off most people's sense of balance, Gotsumon, as a golem (for lack of any other term to call her) began charging, immune to the effects of her attack.

Kai wisely chose to take the advice... Though he really wished they wouldn't fight. As he stepped back, the earth began to shake. Shiro bravely stood his ground... Either that, or he was afraid that if he moved he would fall over shamefully. But this was Shiro, fear wasn't exactly what he was known for. So what was his game? He met the rock creature's charge headfirst- A bold move, for a creature of flesh and blood. He was forced back, his claws digging furrows in the ground where he had dug them in to steady himself.
"Look's like Shiro's head is as thick as he acts." Kai joked, as it was by no means a serious battle... Right? Kuro chuckled at it, anyways. Shiro, being thick, didn't even realize he'd just been insulted. "Right where I want you! Little Blast!" The white Digimon declared, raising his head to fire an energy blast at point blank range! Ooh, that's gonna sting.

The Earth ceased Quaking as soon as the ball of light struck her, she having been too close to dodge. Specks of pebbles and dust flew off of the digimon as she turned back to her opponent. The rocks slowly rolled back to her as she backed away slightly staring down her opponent once more. She gave a weak laugh.
"Woo, you got me there. I forgot how weird this felt." As her right arm reassembled, it was clear she was holding something. That something turned out to be one of her many rocks, which she quickly flung his way. "ANGRY ROCK!"

Kai stared in horror as Carrie... Practically broke apart. Was she hurt seriously? Should he step in to stop the fight? But even as he worried, the Digimon pulled herself together. Apparently, she wasn't out of the running yet. Uggh, he really didn't like watching this. There was no reason to fight! Weren't they friends!? But he knew Shiro would never forgive an interruption... And from what he'd seen of Gotsumon, she probably wouldn't either.
Dodging? What was dodging? Clearly not something Shiro bothered to do, taking the full brunt of Gotsumon's attack head on. Painful! But the little Digimon was nowhere near ready to call it a day, yet. He was Shiro! He was the strongest! Shiro did not go down that easily! Shaking the grey dust out of his white pelt, he charged towards his foe. "Not bad... But take this! Charging Headbutt!"

Gotsumon took a deep breath, frowning as her opponent took the rock head-on. "What th-" She quickly rolled to the left, hoping he'd headbutt into something hard like in those video games she saw back at the arcade. "You're cheating!" She accused, frowning. "I threw a rock at your head, dead on, and you hardly even flinched!" She turned away and crossed her arms. "No way I'm gonna keep fighting a cheater like you. Carrie has a terrible taste in friends..."

Shiro barreled past the Digimon. Ah, sidesteps, his greatest foe. "Cheating?" The white Digimon said quizzically, clearly having no idea what the word meant. "Does that mean the fight's over?" Aww, he was just starting to have fun! Even if his head still hurt from the two times it had smacked into solid rock. Oh well, it had been fun!
Kai... Was just glad the battle was over. Even if Gotsumon's assessment of 'hardly even flinched' wasn't really what he had seen. After all, the white Digimon had clearly been in pain after taking the rock... Which, was a big reason why Kai was glad to see them stop fighting. Even if Gotsumon seemed to be annoyed at them now. He paused, unsure of how to continue...

The digimon harrumphed and went back to Kai. Looking up at him and thinking. She stared at him intensely, for almost a bit too long. "I got it!" She said, snapping her fingers. "Alright, we walk to the beaches. Humans like water, right? ...Anyways, once we get there Carrie can have her body back, this is just dull..." She confessed. "No offense. Ah, I got it again. Why don'cha tell me about you. Then you can ask me, then she can ask about your digimon, and we can go back and forth like that." She smiled... I think, it's hard to tell with her rock-face.
"I'll start." She said, regardless of Kai's answer. "What's with you? Like, what's going on with you? I need to make sure you're right in the head before I keep you moving with Carrie... even if she ain't she's like a sister, y'know? ...Well, we share the same body and mind, so it's a BIT more than just sisters but I don't think they've invented a word for that... but this is about YOU now."
