As Omen and Lagi left Mojyamon behind to slowly make their way into the castle, the sole guard remaining was busy spacing out, but even he couldn't miss someone trying to get into the castle. Thankfully, here came incompetence to save the day once again.
"Hey, Stancsky!" The other Icemon yelled out from afar. "There aren't any Gotsumon on staff here anymore, right?" This caused the other Icemon to turn his head off towards the distance.
"Not anymore," He answered. "Not since the Crystal Tyrant threw a tantrum and wasted Stepherson..." The Icemon, a being made of ice, shivered at the thought. "That was a terrible Tuesday..."
"Yeah, well... I found a random rock lying around here, so I think I found what was left of poor Stephie..."
"Oh, shit... really?"
"Yeah. I figure that bits of Stephie got stuck in the walls, and must have gotten dislodged when WinterWitchmon moved the castle around... That's probably what that noise was..."
"Well there you go, Kraszansky, there's your answer!" The more chill of the Icemon mocked. "You should go report this to WinterWitchmon! Maybe she'll promote you to head detective! You'll get a gun and badge and everything!"
"Screw you, Stancsky, at least I gave enough of a damn to look!" The other Icemon was walking back to his post with an irritated expression. But both were distracted. Lagi would probably be fine due to her bullshit ghost powers, but Omen had a bit of a quandary. If she sped up, she would risk alerting the nearby Icemon, but if she took things slowly, then she would have TWO Icemon to sneak past. Going back risked danger, as well. But hey, no pressure. And for Makoto, Jokermon, Yuko, and IceDevimon, it seemed like negotiation were finally drawing to a close with WinterWitchmon. "How very pleasant! Normally I'd have to torture them to make sure they didn't have any allies in the area, but I just find torture to be oh-so-very-unpleasant!" Her last comment seemed a little unconvincing, however. "But even if there are additional rats around, I have allies of my own, now! Well... if you're willing to prove your worth, that is..."
As if on cue, the two Icy Devidramon that were hovering around the group since the beginning of the conversation slowly made their way to the ground, their massive forms landing nearby and causing the icy ground to tremble as they touched down.
"Now, if you'd like a ride, these two would be more than willing to escort you to the castle!" Looking at the two large Digimon, they looked more like they were more willing to devour the lot. One of them looked over towards the sole human girl, baring its fangs and began to let out a growl. "Now-now, don't be rude to our guests!" WinterWitchmon interrupted, causing the Icy Devidramon to go silent as it looked away in irritation. "I assure you, they'll be quite gentle!"

This was indeed a bit of a difficult situation to find herself in, but...Omen had to try. She was quick enough on her feet to make an effort to speed up enough that she'd clear the distance. Of course, she was also banking on the continued incompetence of the Icemon. They were rock-brained morons, that likely found the remains of a fri-...Oh god, did she actually just throw a corpse?
Please don't see me please don't see me... She had to have something to do in case she was seen, and one of them was probably the simplest plan. Throw some some snow in their eyes and make a break for it. Otherwise? Hopefully Lagi could keep the distractions going...If any...

At Jokah's frustration and disappointment over the failed suggestion, Makoto would be unable to help a soft sigh, even as they maintained a gentle smile in their 'king's' direction. Hopefully, this demon digimon's pride wouldn't blow their cover anytime soon; though thankfully, WinterWitchmon didn't seem to comment on it or mind it all that much. "A shame for certain, my king." They would respond sympathetically; continuing "Though there will be more theatrical days to come in this alliance, I'm sure."
The presence of the two IceDevidramon, meanwhile, was certainly an imposing one; the two beasts looming over them with ease. Even with the natural height of Makoto's borrowed form, they were tall and large - Kuro's unease being plainly apparent through the two's link. Still though, it seemed that they were nonetheless loyal to WinterWitchmon, calming down at her command; and that these two would be the group's way in.
(Briefly, Makoto mused over the humor in a winged digimon carrying another winged digimon, but they would decide against saying anything. Besides, who knew how fast these dragons might be in the air, compared to oneself?)
Nonetheless though, there wasn't much point in wasting any more time. "Why thank you, darlings; I much appreciate the ride." Makoto would speak to the icy dragons and WinterWitchmon both; a hand gently stroking over the beast's shoulder as they got up atop its back. "Let us waste no time, then, in fulfilling our deal." All the while though, they studied the IceDevidramon's appearance - wondering if mimicking this beast, later on, would be useful or not.
Hopefully, the gambit that Makoto had in mind would work well. Though a trickster they were at heart, sometimes deception and trickery required a little risk taking.

Even underneath the massive mounds of snow, and Omen's fire belly body, Lagi could still hear the two Icemon guards talking as she slinked underneath the Wispmon below and- wait, did they really find the remains of one of their own kind just casually lying around the floor? Just like that?
There were plenty of questions on what happened, and frankly, Lagi wasn't willing to ask anyone about that anytime soon.
Yet as soon as their conversation ended, and she could hear louder footsteps from one of the Icemon themselves, she would allow herself the smallest peek, only her two tiny beady eyes poking out from the snow being greeted by the sight of the two distracted Icemon, and Omen continuing her mad dash towards the entrance. And quickly, she realized that one slip up could easily get them both caught. She had to buy Omen enough time.
But how?
Quickly as the two 'black pebbles' disappeared back into the heavy snow, Lagi would make her way opposite the entrance, and where Omen was going. Once she had enough distance away, she'd come to a complete stop before 'facing' the castle once more. With her signature scarecrow grin adorned upon her face, two small will-o-the-wisps formed in her palms.
"Here goes nothing." She simply whispered to herself as she raised her palms to the sky. Slowly but surely, the tiny blue 'flames' silently broke through the snow, yet they didn't seem to melt it. They just floated up to the sky gradually before they died out, leaving nothing in their wake. Yet as they vanished, another set would quickly follow in turn. And another. And yet another.
For all Lagi knew, she would repeat this for a good while until the Icemon had spotted it and they came close by. How long it would take, she didn't know, but as far as she knew, this was one of her weakest spells; she could do this all day if she had to. All she wanted was to buy as much time as possible for Omen to get into the castle before she could go in herself, as safely as possible.
Hopefully this little bit of tomfoolery would work out in their favour.

“Torture? Boring? Oh, darling, torture is never boring when I do it! You just have to get creative!” Jokermon casually remarked. “Yeah, like forcing people to watch really cringe videos on the internet!” Yuko added.
With that, it seemed like WinterWitchmon had finally granted them entry to the Crystal Tyrant’s icy fortress, even providing a pair of remarkable steeds for the two wingless members of the group to ride. The young delinquent gazed in awe at the IceDevidramon that had growled at her. “Daaaamn, these look sick! Terrifying, but mostly sick! Why don’t YOU have evil dragons we can ride around?” She asked her partner. “The Mercenary-hiring agency was very particular about not letting me have any more minions of the Champion level.” The dastardly clown replied, crossing his lanky arms in front of his chest. “Apparently, I reached my quota when I hired 12 Vilemon.” The girl tilted her head in confusion. “Huh? Since when do you follow other people’s regulations?” “Nobody can defy the almighty Terminus Mall! Not even a Demon King!”
As the fake IceDevimon mounted one of the flying beasts first, the real one prepared to follow suit, only to be stopped in his tracks by Jokermon raising his finger at him. “No, no, no. You and the Vilemon can follow us from behind using your own wings. We wouldn’t want the constant rattling of your cowbell to drive the IceDevidramon insane, would we?” “Your words. They hurt me. On a personal level.” The snowy devil frowned, but nonetheless acquiesced.
“Now then… Let us take off to the blizzard-ravaged skies!” The demonic jester exclaimed, jumping on top of the unmanned IceDevidramon’s back. “Are you ready, Yuko?” “I- I think so!” The teenage Tamer managed after a bit of clumsy climbing to get atop the same dragon Makoto was using, sitting in front of the impersonator with her legs spread. Thank god she was wearing pants and not a skirt. “Okay, I think I’m good. Where do I hold onto again?”

The icy Devidramon's ascent was rather rough as they tried their best to resist the urge to shake off their riders. It seemed like they weren't particularly fond of being used as a transportation device. However, they didn't dare oppose WinterWitchmon's order.
Speaking of the frigid devil, the icy Jokermon visage turned towards them one last time before they took off. "I'm afraid I won't be able to meet you in person just yet, but I will send someone to escort you to the dungeons. Please do your best not to get lost in the meantime!" And with that, IceDevimon's manipulated creation began to crumble and fall apart, until nothing remained but unrecognizable blocks of ice.
Unfortunately for Yuko, the only thing she had to hold was for her dear life. But thankfully, it wasn't that bumpy of a ride, so long as you didn't mind the frigid wind being whipped up in your face. But the icy Devidramon's flight wasn't a long one, but neither did they move at any particularly hurried speed. In fact, IceDevimon and the Vilemon would easily be able to fly ahead if they wanted wished.
Regardless of what they mercs did, they were brought to a large flat surface upon the top of the icy tower. The icy Devidramon landed one after another, lowering their heads down to an Icemon awaiting them there. The Icemon rubbed on of the icy Devidramon's chin in an affectionate manner while waiting for the group to dismount. Afterwards, he gave them a quick salute before announcing "Greetings! My name is Gravhelsten, and I've been ordered to escort you to the dungeons!" He paused for a second, then spoke up again, just a bit more nervous. "Oh, I'm so sorry... That made it sound like you were being imprisoned. But no, I'm here to guide you to our lower levels so that you may perform an execution of our current prisoners! After which, I will take you to see WinterWitchmon!" He gave another salute, seemingly much more proud of his clarification.
Of course, now that they were here, it wasn't like they had to go along with this Icemon. If they wished, they could attempt to waste the nervous Icemon and make their own way through the castle. Alternatively, they could continue to go along with this alliance of theirs. Executing a prisoner or two couldn't be that hard, right? As for Lagi and Omen, things were getting just a little more tense. Right as one of the Icemon was preparing to turn around and be able to spot the fleeing Wispmon, both Icemon got distracted by the blue flames that shot out from Lagi's distraction.
"Oh... Oh no... Blue flames..." One of the Icemon managed to stutter out before gulping down frigid air.
"Does that mean...?" The other Icemon seemed a little more cool about it, however. "Kraszansky, we need to go check it out! If BlueMeramon is running rampant down below again and no one does anything about it, the Tyrant's gonna waste all of us!"
"But what about our post, Stancsky?" The other Icemon replied. "If WinterWitchmon finds out we abandoned our post, then we'll be dead no matter what!"
The other Icemon sighed before shaking his head. "You're faster than I am. You do check out down below, and notify me what's going on. Then we'll decide what happens from there!" There was a brief pause before adding, "And Kras? Be careful."
"No problem there!" The Icemon replied, turning around to run down through the entrance and deeper into the keep - and right into a sneaking Wispmon. "What the..." The Icemon was within shouting distance of his comrade, but he seemed a little too stunned to shout just yet.
...But what were Omen and Lagi going to do now?

The moments became ever more nerve-wracking as they slipped by, one by one. But, as it turns out, Lagi had thought of a wonderful distraction in the form of blue flames. Unfortunately, Omen did not take into consideration that an ice-themed area might or might not have been host to a BlueMeramon.
So, really, Lagi gave a distraction that inadvertently FUCKED HER OVER (please don't take this seriously panz). How so, one may ask? As Omen fled into the Keep, so did the Icemon, and they ran fast enough to run right into Omen!
She turned with an expression of horror upon her face, and in those precious few seconds allotted to her? "OH SHIT! A RAT!" She yelled out in the most approximate impression of a little bitch she could provide! Before Omen then proceeded to employ a very nice tactic. She hurled PINK flames for that Icemon, the fire being aimed for his eyes before she would try turning tail and running deeper into the keep! Hopefully to find a place to hide!
Omen used Craft Fire before running off.
Craft Fire: Wispmon conjures up pink flames from its tail before hurling it towards a foe. It has complete control over what shape the fire takes, as well as the overall intensity, though it bears no control over the damage it might cause. Two post cooldown.
Cooldowns: Craft Fire: 0/2.

With Jokermon and Yuko both had banter over the Mercenaries and Terminus Mall, Makoto would hum a bit; unable to help a soft chuckle as they lamented the inability to have a champion-stage Devidramon on their team. "You could always look and see if there are any Ultimate-stage Devidramon to hire, my king." They'd suggest, adding "Or if all else fails, perhaps even a digimon like a Yatagaramon or Velgrmon."
Once they were all seated on the icy Devidramon duo though, the dragons would take off; and as rough as the ascent may be, Makoto was at least relieved that the gambit thus far had been going as smooth as could be. WinterWitchmon wasn't keen on Jokermon's attempts to bring the prisoners outside, of course; but that they would be able to actually come close to those prisoners would be just what Makoto needed to get them out of there with the Digiport.
And for as rough as the ride was, it would eventually come to a close as the Devidramon duo would land at the top of the icy tower. As Makoto got down from the IceDevidramon's back, they would give it a gentle pat on the shoulder - mentioning "Thank you for the ride, darlings." with a smile to the two beasts - before turning their attention to Gravhelsten, as the Icemon spoke up. "A pleasure to meet you, Gravhelsten dear." They would respond politely, with a brief bow in the other's direction. "Do lead the way; I'm sure my king would be eager to put on a show, for our gracious host."
Briefly though, as they spoke, their gaze would slip towards Jokermon and Yuko - wondering what option they would take, in approaching this situation.

Even if she could easily manoeuvre herself inside the thick blanket of snow below without much trouble, physically at least, she really couldn't see anything beyond the snow itself. And yet, she couldn't afford to give herself away so easily to the two Icemon and blow their identity almost immediately. All she could do for now was to keep firing away and buy Omen as much time as possible to-
"OH SHIT! A RAT!"
That out-of-nowhere exclamation was enough to make Lagi wince for a brief moment, and once again, her beady eyes would peer out for a brief glimpse - only to spot Omen firing bright pink flames towards one of the Icemon's eyes in a bid to blind them just to buy herself some time. Oh no. Did she inadvertently draw their attention to Omen as well by mistake?
Oh no.
She couldn't dwell on this. And she had to act fast herself. With the Icemon potentially blinded by the flames, Lagi would position herself underneath their feet. And in one quick motion, she'd reach out to grab the Icemon's feet, before pulling herself down deeper into the snow - potentially taking the Icemon with her. With any luck, the Icemon would potentially be buried head to toe inside the slush, plenty of time for Omen and her to get a move on.
Once all was said and done, she herself would get a move on, following Omen inside from below.

An elongated wail of terror filled the frigid air, as the IceDevidramon took off with no regard for the tiny human that rode on its back. Poor Yuko was screaming at the top of her lungs throughout the entire trip, clinging to Makoto for dear life. It was on that particular day that she realized she had a fear of heights, a fact that Jokermon would no doubt tease her about for months to come.
Fortunately, her torment didn’t last too long, for they soon arrived at the notorious Crystal Tyrant’s fortress, whereupon they were greeted by a vassal by the name of Gravhelsten, who offered to guide them to the castle’s dungeons, where the prisoners awaited their execution. “Sounds splendid, Grav-chan~!” The Clown Prince jovially said, gesturing for his own demonic retinue to follow him. “Lead the way! While you’re at it, do tell us more about those prisoners of yours, if you would be so kind.” The demonic jester tried to fish for more info. “I second that!” A rather disheveled-looking Yuko chimed in, while using her gloves to wipe the running makeup off her face. “WinterWitchmon didn’t exactly tell us much about them. For starters, are they Digimon or humans… or are they actual, literal rats? Depending on how big they are, it might affect the… uuuh… execution method that we’ll have to use. Right, Jokah?” “Indeed!” Her Digimon partner confirmed with a nod. “My scythe alone won’t do the trick if they’re the size of a Whamon!”
The Icemon did look nervous, so perhaps it would be more gullible and susceptible to their deceit than WinterWitchmon was.

Omen's burst of flame flew towards the Icemon... then suddenly shrank in size as the walls of the keep began to glow with indecipherable runes Omen's flame attack became barely a series of embers at that point.
But it was enough to blind the Icemon for a bit. "Gyaaaaaagh!" He growled in anger and shock, as he backed away from the flames with his hands covering his eyes. Then some shitty little ghost grabbed his ankles and yoinked his feet into ground. Sadly, Lagi's attempt only managed to get him partially buried into the ground, about down to his knees. "How the... what is going on here...?" He yelled out, "Hey! We have intruders! We ha-" But it turns out he didn't need to yell after all.
"Ice Rock Shooter!" A chunck of solid ice shot past the immobilized Icemon and straight towards the fleeing Omen. The second Icemon ran up to his comrade.
"Stan!? But... why...?" The trapped Icemon gasped in shock. "But if WinterWitchmon discovers that we both left our post, then..."
"Then we'll be executed." The other Icemon admitted. "But reward or punishment, we'll face it together!" He reached out his hand towards his comrade. They grasped each other's wrists, and pulled as hard as they could... only for the Icemon to remain stuck. I guess even the power of their bromance couldn't overcome the fact that they're just random fucking guards.
And as for the group up top, Gravhelsten let them to a circular platform, beckoning them to all gather together. With Jokermon, his partner, all of his minions, and his pretend minion, it was most definitely a tight squeeze, but the Icemon didn't seem particularly perturbed.
"Well... I'm not supposed to give away too much information, but other than the filthy human, you all seem nice... and you're all going to meet them anyway, right?" He pondered it over or a minute before nodded. As he did so, the circle began to lower itself down further into the castle. As they did so, the walls of the keep began to light up with strange, glowing ruins. Gravhelsten looked at them with an annoyed expression.
"One of those Meramon in the lower floors must be setting off WinterWitchmon's heat wards again..." He muttered, shaking his head. The circle stopped, revealing a rather cramped chamber with several large blocks of ice faintly resembling the shape of a bed placed onto the icy floor. "Sorry. The lift automatically stops at every floor, and there's nothing we can do about it... but this is our barracks, where we sleep at night. We're a little short-handed since the Tyrant went on a bit of a tirade last Tuesday, but I guess that's why you guys are here, right?"
The lift began to lower itself once more. "But as for our prisoners, well... one's a dirty, disgusting-looking human, just like that one right there." He pointed towards Yuko. Oddly enough, he didn't seem to have any malice in his voice as he said it, though. "She came up to me after sneaking into the castle. Apparently she got lost or something, because she asked me for directions. I thought that was pretty stupid, so I captured her. She had another Digimon with her, but it was only a small rookie-level, so she got captured really easily, too." The lift began to slow down once more. "And this floor is the entrance where..."
The lift came a stop to reveal a scene from earlier. An Icemon throwing a block of ice at a fleeing Wispmon, then trying and failing to lift another Icemon that was stuck in the ground. "More intruders!" He cried out, turning towards his many new comrades. "Before we get to executing the previous prisoners, let's work together to capture this one as well!"
Gravhelsten looked towards Makoto, Joker, and his gang for support. And no one still seemed to have noticed Lagi yet. But... what was everyone going to do? Stancsky the Icemon appears to help his comrade, Kraszansky the Icemon as he just got jumped by a bunch of literal children. Also the rest of the group gets railroaded into this whole scene. Though I guess they could just betray the mission and capture Omen or something. idk man, you do you.
Abilities Used/Relevant
[Passive] Battlefield Effect: Heat Ward - Listen. WinterWitchmon worked really hard to create this moving, transforming ice castle, and she'll be damned if she's gonna let some punk-ass Greymon take it down just because he can breathe really hot. This ability automatically halves the damage of any fire or heat-based attack while in the confines of her castle. 1-post cooldown.
[Active] Ice Rock Shooter - Icemon shoots an ice rock at an enemy. It's pretty simple, dude. 0-post cooldown.

Given Omen had turned pretty fast, she didn't really get to see how Craft Fire had been reduced in effectiveness by the very keep itself. But she did notice the runes along the wall. They had to serve some form of purpose, right?
Well, to put a brief damper there...Omen had fled with very little knowledge as to where to go. And she didn't know the concept of zig-zagging just yet. So, that block of ice ended up hitting her square in the back! At the exact right moment when a lift came to a stop, revealing her comrades from earlier and before along with another Icemon!
Omen was sent forth and face down due to the force of the ice cube. Seriously, it was just an ice cube. Why the hell did it have to hurt that much? Moreover, though, the Wispmon looked up at the trio of her friends. It was pretty easy to see that the poor girl was feeling a lot of things right now. Chief of which was a familiar kind of fear.
"H-Help? Please?" Local child gets fucking beaned by a ice cube! Please help.

Certainly, Makoto would've expected to run into one or both of the two younger digimon at some point during this castle infiltration. However, to run into them this early on was somewhat surprising - let alone one of them looking to be in a spot of trouble! As Omen was struck by an Icemon's attack and sent tumbling, Makoto almost had to stop themself from darting in to protect her - a certain maternal feeling welling up inside them in seeing that she was clearly frightened. They'd flinch and wince visibly though, whispering to themself with a hue of sympathy "That must've hurt, with the level difference..."
Makoto certainly knew how that felt, and it tended to smart like hell after being struck...
They had a role to act upon though, and act upon it they would after taking in a deep breath and clearing their throat - slowly stepping forward towards Omen with clear purpose, maintaining their composure the best they could. "Allow me to handle this, dears." They would say to the others, gesturing for the Icemon to stand down, and for Yuko's group to stay where they were.
All the while, Kuro's presence would make itself known in Omen's mind - like the gentle brush of a cat against someone's leg, or a light knock at the door - a sense of warm sympathy and comfort coming from the shadow's telepathic link. <It's okay...> It would speak gently, almost timidly, given its shy nature. <Play along, and we can keep you safe until it's time to break out the prisoners.>
And once Makoto was standing over Omen, they would begin to speak - their tone and posture as confident as ever. "Darling, I think we both know this can go by without any fighting or fuss; and you already seem to have gotten a taste of what larger digimon can do." They begun, smiling sharply down at the Wispmon, and extending a hand in her direction. "You're quite outnumbered as it is; if you surrender and come with us to the dungeons peacefully, this whole ordeal will be made all the more painless for you."
How would Omen - or Lagi, for that matter - react to all of this? It was safe to say that neither Makoto nor Kuro were aware of Lagi in the area - and without knowing where she was, neither of them had any way of signalling to the ghost their plan...

Try as she might, Lagi could only pull the Icemon guard down to his knees before she herself had to loosen her grip and slip down further into the snow. But even underneath, Lagi could still hear all the commotion. The other Icemon calling an attack. The very audible whack that quickly followed. Omen's pleas for help. The other Icemon attempting to free his trapped comrade, to no avail.
At this point, a wave of panic started to awash over the poor Ghostmon. She could try to teleport Omen away as fast as she could, but that spell was still relatively weak, only able to take her so far. And Omen herself could only do so much in her current state. At that point, they may have well have delayed the inevitable. She could try to yoink Omen down by the tail and make a run for it, but (theoretically) her flame belly would threaten to melt the ice and end up revealing themselves to the naked eye.
As far as Lagi knew, she screwed up. Hard.
But what was this? She could hear heavier footsteps approaching Omen. And the unmistakable use of 'dears' emerging from the all-too-familiar voice of the 'IceDevimon' from earlier, effortlessly 'capturing' Omen. Oh, how did Lagi want to emerge up from the ground and greet them happily. Yet, the tone of the 'IceDevimon's' words felt a little... off to her. Almost malicious and taunting in nature...
No! Mako can't be this cruel, right? They promised to help us! For better or worse, the cloak, combined with Lagi literally keeping her head down in the snow, practically made it nigh impossible for anyone, at least in this state, to detect her. And this meant, unlike Omen, Lagi couldn't enjoy the luxury of Kuro's sudden but oh-so-welcome telepathic reassurance.
At this point, all Lagi could do was to keep on moving into the castle doors itself, silently breathing in and out as she did, her 'tail' flickering nervously. She trusted Mako being a Digimon of their word. It wouldn't be like them to just... suddenly switch sides without so much as a simple warning and doom them all, right? Omen would forgive her for that little screw up, right? Makoto wasn't really going to hurt Omen, right? They were a Digimon of their word, right?
...right?

“YOUR MUM is filthy!” Yuko shot an insult back at the human-hating Icemon. “Woah! You can’t just insult. A gentleman’s mother. She ain’t here.” The real IceDevimon intervened, waving his sharp-taloned hands.
While descending on the moving platform, Gravhelsten showed them the floor where the Tyrant’s minions slept, while also explaining that one of their prisoners was a human - and a Tamer at that, judging by the fact she had a partner that was imprisoned as well. “A hero waltzing up to a villain’s front door to get captured? Ohohohoho! How often does that happen?” Jokermon remarked with a bout of jovial laughter. His Vilemon servants awkwardly chuckled with him.
Upon reaching the castle’s main hall, the group were greeted to the awkward sight of a certain armless gremlin trying to fend off two more Icemon. One of the subservient Vilemon pointed in that direction. “Look, it’s Om--” “A Wispmon we have never met before!” The Clown Prince quickly interrupted them.
Makoto stepped in and cleverly saved the overwhelmed Omen under the guise of trying to talk her into surrendering. Hopefully, the little Rookie Digimon would play along. Jokah placed a hand on his chin, as if thinking. “Hmmm… Yuko, why don’t you act as that Wispmon’s handler for the time being?” He proposed. “Huh?! W-why me?” The Japanese delinquent blurted out. “One cannot trust Fallen Angel Digimon with children. They’ll just scare them away!” The demonic jester replied.
“Alright, here goes…” Yuko sighed, as she walked up to the fallen Wispmon, squatting on her knees in order to get down to its eye level. “Hey there, little buddy! Like IceDevimon #2 said, you should follow us instead of trying to resist. Children shouldn’t be here in the first place, so I’m sure we can convince the Crystal Tyrant to reduce your sentence. What do you say?” She offered, opening her arms to let the frightened Omen come to her.
