Name: It's Time To D-D-D-D-Digivolve!
MPC Scenario: Forget all these fights to the death and deletion! In this MPC, you're gonna be resolving your conflicts like a real 'mon would - not through communication and peaceful resolution, but through a children's card game that has no right being as complicated as it is! Are your characters playing a card game to pass the time by, or is the fate of the world resting on the turn of a card and a cheesy friendship speech? Either way, its time to put down your Digivice and pick up your deck! But maybe not do it on a motorcycle. That's just plain silly!
Extra Notes: Remember that it's a story about a card game, not necessarily a card game itself, so feel free to use whatever silly rules you want! If you're using an existing card game, the more plot contrivances and blatant rules violations, the better!
Extra, Extra Notes: I think it was Spire or someone else from the Discord who thought this idea up initially way back when, but I don't think anyone ever got around to submitting it. So... I figured I'd do that. Feel free to give someone else the 2000 bits reward or something. I just think this would be a neat MPC to try out.

MPC Scenario:
Things have taken an unexpected turn for your character as a circumstance(or series of circumstances) beyond anyone's control has temporarily rendered your character blind. Will they be calm or will they be panicked? How much of a problem it will cause is up to you as your character deals with the temporary disability.

MPC Scenario:
Your character finds themselves within some sort of anomaly that has a curious effect on the brain that is akin to the effects of alcohol. What kind of drunk is your character? Will this just be harmless but potentially awkward or will you find yourself in more trouble? If you are in more trouble, are you the cause or is it another source?

MPC Scenarion:
In this MPC there's going to be a different type of thread, not focusing on your character but on their family, specifically their parents. This can range from anything to how they met, how they would respond to your character disappearing all the time and even what they do while you're out there exploring the digital world. For solo digimon without families can use other NPC they think of as family or close friends, how they interact or met each other or even your character.

Extra Notes: Hopefully this can give you a chance to flesh out human characters family, I know I forget to do that a lot so this might be good for some peeps.

Name: Return to your Roots
MPC Scenario: Through some kind of time-space dimension nonsense, a dream, or perhaps a retelling of a tale to others, your characters experience a time long past - where they live out the lives their ancestors experienced over 100 years ago. For context, think of those cartoons where characters re-enacted historical scenarios. How would they have fared in Edo Period Japan for instance? Or if they're descended from migrants, how would they have fared through those times? Digimon may or may not be involved at your discretion.
As for digimon characters, how did their previous incarnations or their ancestors fare in the distant past?
Name: Powers from a Different Dimension
MPC Scenario: Somehow, in the travels between the human world and digital world, your characters wind up in a different world altogether. A small world, its inhabitants claiming it to be the End of Time. With nothing to lose, as time has ended, but with limited powers to change the abilities of those that come to it, new powers are given to both humans and digimon that wind up here. What new powers do you gain? And, when you regain the ability to go back the way you came, how do they use those powers to change the world around them?
(For those who have played Chrono Trigger, think of the scene of when Spekkio grants you the ability to use Magic for a good point of context).

MPC Scenario: The digital world calls for many different skills to handle a variety of problems, fighting, negotiating, healing. But some humans and digimon have talents beyond that. In this scenario take a bit to explore something that your character does outside of the busywork of the digital world, do they draw? Can they sing. Maybe they just spend all their time outside playing video games? Not everything has to end up with a life or death scenario.

MPC Scenarion: Sometimes we need to make choices that will effect what happens, character wise and real life. But unlike real life he were can explore what might of happened if a different choice was made in a critical point in your characters life, maybe it was a choice they made themselves or a choice someone else made that sets their life on a far different path then where they're at now.

MPC Scenario: The day has finally come! After all the hardships, your characters have finally accomplished all of their dreams! All their enemies have been defeated, and the Digital World is at peace, or even under your thumb, depending on your ambitions! Anything and everything your characters have always wanted has been accomplished... But according to your character's contract, you still have a couple more seasons to go! So what does your character do from here on? Do they find another dream to accomplish, or devote the rest of their lives to someone else's dream? Do they use their strength to find a worthy successor so that the world they helped protect stays safe even after they're gone? Or do they retreat somewhere to finally live out the peaceful life they've always wanted?
Name: Bit of a Slump...
MPC Scenario: Your character's hit a bit of a rough patch for some reason. Nothing they do seems to ever have any success, and minor inconveniences always seem to stop them in their tracks at every corner. Be it bad luck, a curse, a really unfortunate sequence of events, or perhaps even karma brought about by their own careless actions, your character seems to have trouble with even the most minor of tasks. So how does your character deal with this recent string of misery? Do they just barrel through it in the hopes that the bad times will pass sooner or later? Do they rely on every superstition under the sun to end their misfortunes? Or do they rely on others instead, knowing that their bonds with their friends and partners will overcome any kind of inconveniences that may come?

MPC Scenario: Do you ever just think up of some silly interactions between your characters that don't really have a place in any particular thread, or aren't nearly enough to fill out a 1000-word MPC? Well, for this MPC, you don't have to worry about all of that! Much like you would find in comic strips like in the paper, your goal is to tell a series of short and sweet interactions with your characters, their partners, their mercs, and overall their supporting cast. You can even post with another member if you want! So long as you tell enough little short stories to reach 1000 words, you should be good to go!

MPC Name: Hi-Octane Action
MPC Scenario: What's with all these lame, mundane MPC's going around? Our characters have got walking weapons of mass destruction on our side! So how about we stop playing patty-cake with our little lizards and fuzzballs pals and really kick it up a notch or three? Explosions! Intense battles! Collateral damage! Probably some heavy metal or something playing in the background, it doesn't matter! Plot and story are fine and dandy, but what's important is that it's time for you and your Digimon to cut loose and show everyone here what your character's truly made of! Does your enemy have a rich backstory and full of complications? Just ignore all that stuff and show us all how much of a badass your character can be!

MPC Name: Seasonal Dissonance
MPC Scenario: As we all know, time between the Digital World and the Human World flows very differently; for each day that passes in the Human World, 7 days have passed in the Digital World! However, what one doesn't always consider, is how this difference might affect the seasons in either world - just because it's summer in the Human World doesn't mean that it'll necessarily also be summer in the Digital World; it's just as likely for it to be spring, fall, or even winter!
So, with this being said, how does your character first react to the sheer differences in the passing seasons? Do they have any particular routines for making sure that they're properly geared up for - for example - a hot summer in the Western Flatlands, despite it being fall in Shibuya? How might they react to the holiday season in Rosewood while it's summer back home?

MPC Name: It's Time to Wake Up
MPC Scenario: Very recently, your character has had an epiphany. Through some means or another, your character has discovered that their world around them isn't real. That all of their Digital adventures, and the friends and enemies they had made along the way, had never happened. The extent of this is up to you. They could have just been dreaming about the Digital World this entire time, or maybe they even realized that they themselves are a fictional character.
But the epiphany itself isn't the main focus. What matters is what your character does with this new knowledge. Do they continue to live their lie because they don't want to live in a world without their partners? Do they struggle to find the means to escape from this dream world they've come to know and love? Does the realization that nothing around them is real, maybe not even themselves, give them a bit more... moral ambiguity?
Extra Notes: Doing this with another player seems counterproductive, but it could still make for an interesting story. Do your characters fight and argue over who's real and who's not? Or what kind of dynamic would two people who may be the only real people in the entire world have?

MPC Scenarion: You're probably used to having your characters be the cream of the crop, the ones who save the world and protect those you care about. However for this scenario that role is reversed, it's you who's in danger or trapped and need saving. Who will come for you in your time of need? Family? Close Friends? A love interest? Surely there's someone out there willing to risk life and limb to keep you safe!
Extra Notes: If you want to go the sad route could also have it be about your character being trapped and not being able to think about anyone who'd come save them, either that or finding resolve to save yourself either or.

Scenario: Let's start off the new year creatively bankrupt! Instead of thinking of something new, it's now your job to completely reboot your character! What's their NEW first adventure into the Digital World gonna be like for them? What kind of different directions will you take for your character in their reboot? Will they be darker and edgier, their dynamics with their partner completely different from what everyone knows and loves? Or will you use the benefit of hindsight to try and make their first foray into the Digital World more dramatic or meaningful than what they previously experienced? Or perhaps if your character's brand new, or if you got lazy and skipped your character's intro, this is the perfect opportunity to get started or write up an origin!

MPC Scenario: Your character has been training and practicing at something for a long time. Whether it be an exam at school, training for a test of strength and character, proving themselves worthy of respect or admission to a group, or just generally going through a trial to fulfil a goal of sorts, perhaps even evolution? It's a pretty blanket scenario that can apply to any of those things.
