Waking Up in a New Home (Open)

Takashi's team once again meets in the forest. "Ok, so how did everything go?" Takashi starts to cry. "That big dumby Dante broke my goggles!" "How come you were not able to get the job done, Sal?" Sal looks irritated. "I would have had him if Takashi didn't get in my way. But I guess some of you couldn't trust a professional." "No, we were just worried that a kitty maid might not be the best person for the job." Sal tightens her fists. "Oh ya, well leave Dante to me today. If any of you get in my way the only maid you will need is a nurse maid, to take care of your sorry butt after I beat the snot out of it!" A tamer with short hair and large muscles steps up. "Very well, but tomorrow, I'm taking down every single one of those bad tamers! Try not to fail, Sal." Sal storms off, followed by Biyomon. "Yikes! Sal sure is scary."

Revan and Sakiko are at HQ discussing recent events. "I talked to Shirou. He seems resistant to return, but he will come around. He has to if he wants to see his programs ever again." Sakiko walks up behind Revan. She wraps her arms around him and rests her head on his shoulder. "Let him be emo. We will have the data core soon enough. Then we can get Devimon back. But for now, how about we go upstairs and give each other some soothing massages?" Revan takes Sakiko's arms off him. "Actually, I have another meeting with Shirou today. He wants to complain some more. But don't worry, I'll get through to him." Sakiko looks disappointed. "Okay, I'm going to take a bath. Love you, sweetie." Sakiko goes upstairs. Revan takes out the orange storage device and plugs it into the main frame. "Shirou you crazy bastard! Look at all of these files."

Dante arrives at the campus. He puts Wormmon in his bag and gets to class early. Ms. Kurosawa is already there. "Good morning, darling. I thought of something brilliant. Use your digivice to store your Digimon, and I'll connect it to my hard drive. That way your Digimon can play with mine during class." "You have a Digimon?" "Of course, Dante. My Digimon is as adorable as you!" Dante loads Wormmon onto his digivice and plugs it into her computer. Wormmon is in a calm meadow with lots of flowers. Dante sits down and starts getting ready for class. Angel comes walking in and sits next to Dante. "Hey, dude." Dante and Angel start talking and laughing. Sal walks in and sees them. (Thinking) "Dante you cheap whore! Talking to that tramp. Why won't you pay me any attention?"

Takashi and Bo wait outside of Sakiko's house. Revan walks outside. He gets on his motorcycle and drives off. "Okay, Bo, let's move in!" Takashi, Agumon, Bo, and Kunemon run to the house. They open the front door and go inside. "Now what, Takashi?" "Well, I know they have a secret base around here somewhere." The four of them look around for a while. Sakiko comes up the staircase. "What do you think you are doing here?" "We are here to defeat you evil tamers! Prepare to battle!" "Well, I don't have a Digimon with me currently. So there's no point in battling. Go ahead downstairs if you want, you won't be able to access any of the programs."

A large van pulls up into the driveway. A tall boy with platinum blonde spikey hair gets out and walks in the door. "What's going on here?" "Cassius, these boys are here for a fight." "Ya, that's right." "Well, I hate to disappoint unwanted guests. Come to me, Betamon!" Betamon gets out of the van and comes inside. Betamon has a standoff with Agumon and Kunemon. "Try not to get in my way, Takashi."

Dante and Angel get in Dante's car. Sal is spying on them. Biyomon comes flying up. "Hiya Sal! Wanna go play at the park?" "Not now, Biyomon! We need to teach Dante a little lesson." Biyomon sighs, then digivolves into Birdramon. Sal grabs on to Birdramon's leg and Birdramon flies into the sky, following Dante's car. Birdramon launches fireballs at the car. "Dante, what's going on?" Dante sees Birdramon in the side mirror. "A giant bird Digimon is after us. Do you know about Digimon?" "Of course, I thought you didn't know. Looks like I don't have to hide my partner any more." Patamon climbs out of Angel's backpack. "Patamon, take out that bird." Wormmon and Patamon lean out the windows in the back of the car. Dante takes a sharp turn to avoid incoming fireballs. "Now, Wormmon!" Wormmon shoots a silk thread, and Patamon shoots a boom bubble at Birdramon. The two attacks do little damage.

Birdramon and Angemon take to the sky. Birdramon swoops in for a claw attack, but Angemon blocks with the rod. Angemon throws the rod and hits Birdramon. The rod falls to the rooftop. Dante picks up the rod. Birdramon comes in for another claw attack and hits Angemon dead on. "What's the matter, Dante? Wormmon can't fly?" "Shut up you big meanie!" Wormmon shoots a sticky net at Sal. "Ah no not again! It's so sticky." Birdramon launches a meteor wing down at Dante and Angel. Dante drops the rod, and dives towards Angel and takes her to the ground to shield her from the blast. Angemon charges up for a Hand of Fate and hits Birdramon in the wing. Sal breaks loose from the sticky net and picks the rod up. "You two are nothing! We will defeat all tamers who stand against us."

Seadramon is battling Agumon and Kunemon in the road. Seadramon knocks back the two rookies with a powerful sweep of its tail. "Now's your time to shine, Agumon! Digivolve!" Agumon gets up and lets out a powerful roar. Agumon digivolves to Greymon. Seadramon goes for another sweep of the tail, but Greymon catches the tail and swings Seadramon into Sakiko's house. "Kunemon, back down for now." Seadramon gets up and lunges towards Greymon, but Greymon bashes into Seadramon with his powerful horns. "Blast it. I can't win at this rate." The computer down in HQ starts to hum loudly. BlackAgumon breaks free from his containment file and runs outside. "Hey, bigshot! You want a real fight?"

BlackAgumon approaches Greymon and shoots a spitfire at him, hitting his face. Greymon is distracted by the attack. Seadramon tackles Greymon, knocking him back. "Kunemon, take out BlackAgumon!" Kunemon shoots an electric thread at BlackAgumon, knocking him down. Seadramon launches an Ice Blast at Greymon and Kunemon. Kunemon is knocked back, Greymon deflects most of the blast with his arms. Greymon lets out a fiery nova blast. Seadramon dodges and the blast hits what's left of Sakiko's house. BlackAgumon sneaks up behind Greymon and jumps on the back of his neck. BlackAgumon starts biting Greymon's neck. Greymon tries to shake him off. "Now, Seadramon!" Seadramon fires a freeze ray at a distracted Greymon, hitting for massive damage. Greymon devolves to Agumon and falls to the ground, with BlackAgumon landing on top of him.

Revan shows up riding BlackGarurumon. "What on earth is going on?" Sakiko runs up to Revan. "Oh, Revan. It's horrible! My house is destroyed!" Takashi and Bo are shocked to see Revan. "It's you! You're the one we must defeat!" Takashi takes up a battle stance towards Revan, but Agumon is too weak to fight. BlackGarurumon lets out a powerful roar. "It's time for you to leave. I'm starting to get hungry." Agumon and Kunemon are terrified of BlackGarurumon. "That's it, let's get out of here!" Takashi and Bo grab their partners and start running off. BlackGarurumon fires a massive blast, knocking Bo and Takashi down. "Ow, my leg!" They get up and run away.

Revan jumps down and gives Sakiko a hug. "It's okay now. I'm so sorry about your house." Seadramon devolves to Betamon and walks over to Cassius. Cassius picks up Betamon and walks over to Sakiko and Revan. "It's good to see you again, Revan." "Likewise, old friend. Now what happened here?" "I had just returned with the shipment from the docks. Takashi and Bo were inside, so I engaged them in battle." Sakiko walks up to Cassius and stomps on his foot. "Ya, well it's your fault my house was destroyed." "Lay off him, Sakiko. It's their fault, not his."

Sal waits on top of the roof. "Okay, Biyomon, you can carry me down." Sal grabs on to Biyomon's legs. Biyomon tries to fly, but the two fall down. "I don't think we can get off this rooftop." Wizardmon appears on the roof. "Greetings, tamer and Digimon. I have something important to tell you. Come with me." Wizardmon grabs Sal's hand and Biyomon's wing and teleports off the rooftop.

Dante, Wormmon, Revan, BlackGabumon, Cassius, Betamon, Angel, Patamon, and Sakiko go to Dante's house. Dante opens the door and everyone goes into the living room. Judith comes walking downstairs. "Dante, what's going on? I thought we were going out for karaoke tonight?" "That's going to have to wait. These are my friends. They are going to be staying here for a while." "My house is gone. Destroyed in the battle." Dante, Judith, Sakiko, and Revan go into the kitchen to talk. The Digimon start playing video games.

"Okay, I don't know what's going on, but I know this guy." "So you're, Dante's sister?" Sakiko gets up in Revan's face. "What is she talking about, Revan?" "I just went on a date with him today." Sakiko slaps Revan. "Really Revan?! I can't believe you would do this!" "Alright, everybody settle down! A lot of stuff is going down and we have to stick together to get through this." "Well one thing is certain. We're through, Revan!" "Come on, it's not that big of a deal." "Dante, it's time you know what's really going on. I've been lying to you." "No, don't tell them! Not now." "Revan, get lost." Revan smirks and walks out of the room.

Sakiko explains to Dante and Judith about Revan's group of tamers. She tells them that they used to work for the Dark One, but they broke off and formed their own team. They've been stealing data files, and they are not the ones who created the data core. That's why the Dark One's forces and Takashi's team have been pursuing them. Dante looks down in disappointment. "So this whole time, we were the bad guys? You are defectors from the Dark One's forces?" "It's all true. I tried to keep it a secret from you, but so many problems started happening. That's why you have been in trouble all this time." Dante walks over and gives Judith a hug. "I don't blame you, Sakiko. But this has put me and my family in danger. I'm part of your team now, and I will stick by you. Just as long as nothing happens to Judith." Judith starts to cry. "Yes, thank you Dante. Let's go talk to the others."

Dante and his friends have a fun filled night with lots of pizza and video games. Everyone gets ready for bed. Betamon walks up to Wormmon and Patamon. "Hey, the humans had their fun. Wanna have our turn?" They follow Betamon outside and into the forest. BlackGabumon is waiting there. "Alright, Digimon! We've got a big battle ahead of us, so tonight we are going to train hard." BlackGabumon walks over and uncovers a computer from HQ. "This system has a digital training simulator we can use. We will be able to digivolve and fight at full power against simulations."

The Digimon huddle close around the computer. BlackGabumon activates the program, and the Digimon are downloaded into the system. They appear in a large grey room with lots of lights. "Activate level 4, Machine Type." 2 Guardromon appear from the floor. BlackGabumon, Betamon, and Patamon Digivolve to BlackGarurumon, Seadramon, and Angemon. "Wormmon digivolve to... digivolve to... why can't I digivolve?" Angemon looks at Wormmon. "Don't worry, you will digivolve when the time is right." BlackGarurumon charges at one of the Guardromon and attacks with a vicious bite. The other Guardromon launches a grenade at BlackGarurumon, knocking both of them down. Seadramon charges towards Guardromon and wraps around them, squeezing tight. Guardromon activates a self destruct mechanism, dealing heavy damage to Seadramon. "Argh, these things can explode?" 2 more Guardromon appear from the floor. "Grr, that's not suppose to happen! What's going on?!"

Wormmon faces a difficult decision. They cannot determine which lever is which. "Let's see, It goes left to right, so up must be left and down must be right. But Japanese manga is right to left. But it's in English. But we are in Japan. Think, Wormmon! Everyone is counting on you. What would Rob do?" Wormmon pulls both levers. The system starts to shut down. The Guardromon are deactivated. Wormmon, BlackGabumon, Patamon, and Betamon are transferred out of the computer and back into the forest.

"Yay! You did hit, Wormmon!" "Hit the deck!" Wormmon dives into BlackGabumon, knocking him down. The computer explodes. Shrapnel nearly hits BlackGabumon and Wormmon. BlackGabumon gets up and dusts off his fur. "Great job, Wormmon. You came through when we needed you." "I know I can't digivolve yet, but I still wanna earn my stripes as a Digimon. And I don't want any of my friends to get hurt." The Digimon hurry back to the house. Revan is outside waiting for them.

"What do you think you are doing?!" "Revan, we were using a training simulator." "Well you are all in a lot of trouble. Do you have any idea how irresponsible you are?!" BlackGabumon steps forward. "Please, don't punish them! It was all my idea." Revan looks down at BlackGabumon and glares. "Very well, BlackGabumon, if you insist on acting like a mut you will be treated like one." All the Digimon start to look sad and disappointed. They go inside and head back to their tamers.
