Before he knew it, Scout had changed again! And this time into something much monstrous than the Sangloupmon....and gigantic!
Flawizarmon couldn't believe his eyes. An easy twenty foot tall skeleton dinosaur towering over them. The transformation had been terrifying itself, concern growing when he saw Scouts skin...basically melt. If that wasn't a sign as how dangerous this was, he didn't know what was! With a terrible deep wrenching groan, Scout grabbed at two of the wolves, crushing them like they were nothing in his bony hands. The Skullgreymon groans again as if he was dissatisfied with the data just downloaded, reaching for more and scattering the yelping Sangloupmon.
At least they weren't attacking them anymore, instead trying to flee from the skeletal hands of the dinosaur. Flawizarmon leapt away from Skullygreymons feet, not really wanting to get crushed accidentally in case Scout decided to move. Watching him kill those digimon without skipping a beat was disheartening...even if they were trying to eat them moments ago. "That doesn't seem like Scout..." Well, it was getting the job done. Not really going to look a gift horse in the mouth right now.
"You okay?" He approached Kai, glancing to Shirmon and Kuromon who seemed to be ruffled up but fine. Flawizarmon turned back to warily watch the slaughter. Nope. He wasn't going to change back. Something really didn't feel right about all this... despite how much he hated doubting his new found friend.
Its probably just my imagination.

Kai stared up at the monstrosity Scout had become... It was huge! Why hadn't he done this sooner... Oh. Kai knew something was wrong the moment that Scout in his new form crushed two of the attacking Digimon. It was strong, sure... But Scout was a pacifist! Or at least he was supposed to be! He certainly fought a lot for a pacifist! But still, he was never that cruel! Especially not when the foes were fleeing, like these ones were! Why had Kai opened his big mouth!?
The fact that if Scout hadn't done this, they would have probably all died didn't particularly cross his mind.
That's right, run, cowards!" Shiro screeched at the fleeing blade-wolves. Knowing him, he probably thought that it was he who had scared off the wolves. Well, there was no reason to tell him otherwise just now. Kuro stood over to the side, licking dust out of her fur. If she had been injured in the fight, it was impossible to see through her thick black pelt. I am well... Though I hope not to encounter them again."
Kai agreed with Kuro. "Right. We got the spirit, we should leave, in case they come around again." He turned to the monstrosity that was Scout. Holy crap that thing was huge! And intimidating... It may have just been because of the whole 'skeleton' thing, but it was extremely unnerving. Also... The part where Kai barely came up to the top of its feet. Did he mention it was big!? "Err, Scout? Don't take this the wrong way... But you're kinda scaring me. Mind, err... T-t-turning back into a human?" The more he spoke, the more scared he felt. He really hoped Scout turned back soon.

SlullGreymon doesn't respond to Kai. It's like he can't even hear him. Or, maybe, it just isn't registers. Fleeing opponents? Not likely. It emits another earthshaking groaning sound, before the organic thing built into its spine begins to move. Hooooly. It's a missile. A living missile with a face. It launches itself into the air and crashes into a number of the fleeing Sangloupmon, detonating with a black and white fireball. More data flows into SkullGreymon.
With the others out of range, SkullGreymon...pretty much throws a tantrum. Or...whatever this is. An arm swings around, knocking down a couple of walls of the building Kai is next to. Hopefully those reflexes are good! SkullGreymon roars again, searching around...looking for something else to destroy.
He is clearly out of control.

It was only her first day in the Digital world for heavens sake! What did she do to bring this upon herself?
Silly motives.
Maybe. All of this she quickly learned wasn't a game. It was living, breathing, and dangerous. What right did she have to get herself involved? .....Later she could worry about that more. Right now they needed to focus on getting out of this predicament.
........The fact that Kai was getting scared only confirmed her suspicions.
A giant yellow missile erupted from the Skullygreymon in an earth-quaking tremble. He could only watch in disbelief as it disintegrated more than half of the fleeing pack in a fiery explosion. "SCOUT WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" He shouted. Anyone could have gotten caught in that crossfire! In response the wall behind them came crashing down from his wild swinging. Flawizarmon tackled Kai out of the way before they were nearly crushed underneath.
Scout was out of control! Rampaging and roaring mindlessly. Whatever was left of this town was going to completely disappear into the wind. Well, at least that was better than being in the City. Oho, how disastrous that would be. Not to brush away that they were in trouble themselves or anything.
"We've gotta snap him out of it." He stood, pulling Kai back to his feet. But how would they do that? Even if they tried tuffling with the giant Digimon, they would easily be swatted away like gnats. And Flawizarmon didn't want to seriously injure him on accident. Though he doubted in their state they could do even a scratch on SkullGreymon...Maybe that is the angle they should work then? To actually try and seriously hurt him? Otherwise being careful would do nothing!

Kai stared in shock at Scout. The enemies had fled! Why was he still attacking! And why wasn't he saying anything? Was he so large that he simply couldn't hear Kai all the way down there? Or did he simply not care? Either one seemed possible! This was his fault! He should have known better than to ask Scout to use his fourth spirit! Should have known there was a reason Scout avoided it so vehemently! He stared in shock at the thing thathad been his friend. He barely even noticed when the creature's attack nearly caused him to be crushed by rubble.
"This is... My fault... I shouldn't..." Shouldn't have told him to do it... Shouldn't have let them come here... He was older than Scout, and had been a Tamer for longer than Rei... It was his job to keep them safe... Why had he been so dependent on Scout... If Kai was better... This wouldn't have happened... This was... His fault...
"Lemme at 'im! I'll tear his guts out!" Shiro was enraged. How dare Scout attack his Tamer!? He thought they were friends! "If we tire him out, we may be able to force a de-Digivolution." Kuro commented, sounding much more calm than she felt. Inwardly, she seethed as much as Shiro. How dare he hurt her Tamer! Kai barely registered their words. Hurt scout? But Scout was a friend... Somehow, though, he couldn't find any more strength to speak...

Scout fires again, this time the missile just impacts the side of a building, disintegrating one of the walls entirely as he starts to walk forwards. His foot crashes into another building and sends it toppling over. Clearly he's just lashing out at everything in sight.
Hell, if he spots Rei and the others, there's a good chance he'll try to absorb them like he did with those Sangloupmon. After all, what do animals do? Eat. What do Digimon eat? Data. Scout is little more than a beast at the moment. BlackAgumon seems to be getting pretty fed up with this.
Not just with Scout, but with the humans! They might hurt Scout, but what if he rampages across the desert back to civilization? "Pepper Breath!" The purple fireball connects with one of the sixty-odd-foot-tall dinosaur's ankles, but if Scout notices, he certainly doesn't show it. "Yggdrasil damn it, feel free to give me a hand. And you," He looks at Shiro, "If you hurt him, there'll be nowhere you can escape me. Got it?" A purple energy is starting to flow over BlackAgumon as well, but...it doesn't look as wrong as it did on Scout...

Tiring him out was a great idea!
"Except I think he'll tire us out first." Flawizarmon unhelpfully commented. What happened to staying on Kuromons good side? "But it is the only thing we got." What a roundabout way of saying that. She was going to have to learn to control herself better as the Wizard. It was unbecoming. And great, Kai was having a freaking breakdown in the thick of it. There was no time for this!
Outright, Flawizarmon turned on him and slapped the tamer harshly across the cheek with an audible smack. "Snap out of it. You can have your pity party after we get Scout to turn back. Or do you want me to set your sorry ass on fire?" He angrily growled. Oh ouch. Harsh. "So instead of sitting there like a lump, how bout we do something." Flawizarmon turned back around, taking a stance next to the glowing BlackAgumon, nodding to him. "Think I've got something that might get his attention."
It was almost as if Rei wasn't even there anymore. She most certainly wouldn't have put it that way..."Shiro and Kuro need you as much as you need them." This time softly hoarse, but loud enough to reach Kai's ears as he rushed ahead, running underneath the legs of the gigantic digimon. He skidded to a halt straight in its line of sight, slamming both the palms of his gloved hands onto the dry earth.
Pentacle Trap.
It would need to be big, more than likely wiping half his energy.
The hot ground bursted into fiery lines, largely outlining the shape of a star underneath and around the Skullgreymon's skeletal feet. It would cause the giant dinosaur to pause in his tracks, running into the thin red barrier shining upwards from the diagram. The collision itself into the walls would crack it. Most likely shatter it completely. It was weak as all hell, but it should do the trick of getting Scouts notice. That's all they needed to keep him from deciding to rampage across the desert and into the closest city, before BlackAgumon- which he presumed- was able to digivolve.

"Why you! Are you saying that its fine if he hurts Kai!?" Shiro snarled, enraged. How dare this pipsqueek threaten him! He wouldn't need to escape, he'd just tear the runt to shreds! Because Shiro was strong! But before he could act on his anger, Kuro stepped between them. "Boys! This is no time for in-fighting!" She snarled, her voice louder than anyone present had heard it before. "Focus on the task at hand! Stopping Scout before he hurts us... Or himself! Heavy Blast!" Kuro fired a ball of black energy towards the rampaging skeleton.
Meanwhile, Kai found himself manhandled by what he now knew to be Rei's new form. His cheek stung from her slap, but he was still wallowing in self pity and barely felt it. WHat was she talking about? How could Kuro and Shiro possibly need him? He'd already digivolved them! It was too soon for them to Digivolve again! What was he supposed to do, weak human that he was! The most he could do would be to stay out of the way! Of course Rei would tell him he was useful! She didn't know how it felt, to only be able to watch as Kuro and Shiro fought to protect him! She could do... Whatever it was she was doing, creating some form of symbol on the ground under Scout! Kai couldn't do that! He couldn't fight!
Hey!? What's with this barrier!?" Shiro asked, slapping his paw against it to no effect. It was keeping him away from his target! He poked it a second time- Still nothing. "Stop that!" Kuro yelled at him. If Shiro actually attacked it , it might weaken the walls. She doubted they would hold SkullGreymon for long... But it was better than not holding him at all! They needed to buy time! At least Shiro was still energetic, despite the odds. Or was that idiotic? With Shiro, there wasn't really a difference. Rei didn't know Shiro very well if she thought that he'd tire out before SkullGreymon.

"Idiot!" BlackAgumon growls as Shiro goes off to do more stupid things. He charges right past them, heading towards Scout's other leg as the light around him grows more intense, "BlackAgumon digivolve to..." His body extends significantly, becoming far more like a theropod dinosaur in shape. His coloration changes to match the dark blue and orange/red stripes of GeoGreymon, as a bayonet-equipped cannon forms at the tip of his tail, and a sharp metallic blade erupts through the skull-like helmet that covers his upper head. "Greymon!"
He swings around as he gets closer, firing off a couple of powerful blasts from his tailcannon, "Atomic Tail!" He doesn't even stop to consider how, or why he suddenly Digivolved after so long with...nothing. His voice is much deeper now as well, almost gravelly but...at least he's still talking, and not going berserk. Nope. Just your everyday twenty foot tall dinosaur.
The barrier seems to hold SkullGreymon in place, at least for now. However, his eye...thing has rolled back in the socket and is now looking right down at where Rei and Kai are standing. At least one is made of data. That'll do. The strikes from BlackAg--Greymon's tailcannon, as well as Kuromon's Heavy Blast attack seem to register! That's good, right?
Nope. Because now he's quite aware of them both. Fortunately for Kuro, Greymon is a much larger target.

Flawizarmon tried to stand but swayed, stumbling and almost collapsing back to the ground before catching himself. Whew-wee! He was exhausted! That just drained right out of him. Looked like his estimation was horrendously off. If he wasn't holding on so tightly, he would have definitely changed back. Which was something he didn't want to do quite yet. For now he needed to be able to watch and protect Kai, get themselves out of the way. Because a clash between Jurassic's was undoubtedly going to be an earth quaking event!
A good thing BlackAgumon digivolved, otherwise he wasn't sure if he could have dodged in time when Skullgreymon brought his attention to him.
For now the Wizard would do what he could to lend support. Which wouldn't be much until he recovered. "We need to move Kai." He forced himself to his feet, roughly grabbing the tamers arm to pull him along. There wasn't anywhere they could take shelter, and the only thing they could do was keep moving out of the way during the fight, and Flawizarmon possibly fending off any stray attacks that came there way. He didn't want Shiro or Koro worrying about Kai. They were needed more in the battle, providing aid...to Greymon. They can do a lot more damage than he could anyways.
"Still haven't snapped out of it, eh? You do know they use your power right? They'll be stronger if you focus." How did he even know that? "Stop thinking you're useless, because you're not. Feeling that their tamer is with them every step of the fight unlocks their potential." He let go, deciding it was far enough for the time being, and crouched, situating himself between Kai and the battle.

The pipsqueek... Wasn't such a pipsqueek anymore. Not that Shiro cared, of course. Just because he was a big pipsqueek... Shiro could still take him. Shiro was the strongest, after all! And to prove it, he'd take down this monster! Just as soon as that barrier dropped! He could see it staring at him! It knew he was the biggest threat there! What do you mean, it was looking at the one next to him? That was a pipsqueek! Clearly you are mistaken. Shiro dug his claws into the ground, ready to pounce the second the barrier dropped.
Let me go!" Kai struggled his way out of FlaWizarmon's grip. "You're someone who can fight. Go do that. I can take care of myself, okay!?" Why wouldn't s/he just let it go? Kuro and Shiro had each other, they didn't need his support! He'd already given them energy when they digivolved, what more could he give them? "I'll be fine... So just leave me alone!" Maybe if he was a real tamer, he wouldn't feel this way. If he was a real tamer, he'd have a bond with his Digimon... Be able to give them strength just by being there. But he wasn't. He was no good at anything, why should he pretend to be good at this? He wasn't meant to be Kuro and Shiro's partner! His Digivice was the universe's form of a consolation prize for trying to take care of them! He'd had enough. WHy couldn't she just leave him alone.
What did she know, anyways? She wasn't a tamer! She'd been one for a few days! How could she say that his being there for them made them stronger... The only other fight she'd seen, he'd been unconscious! "Don't talk like that about things you don't understand! It's not like you understand this better than me! Go away!" He was being petty, he knew... But why wouldn't she JUST. GO. AWAY.

Greymon doesn't have the patience to deal with self-doubt in humans right now. Fortunately, FlaWizarmon's there! And fortunately it's way too loud for him to hear them properly. He just assumes they're being idiots. “Mega Flame!” A jet of purple fire issues from his mouth, scorching one of the many bones that make up SkullScout's body.
Juuuust as the Spirit Wielder breaks through the restraints. He flails around, no doubt breaking more things in the process. Although the sounds he's emitting are easier to decipher, than before. They sound almost like someone yelling in pain. As SkullGreymon releases a burst of some...purple-and-green fire from his mouth, Greymon is unfortunate enough to stumble back right into its path. Maybe he's stronger than the Sangloupmon, or maybe he was just clipped, but at least he remains relatively in-tact. He slides across the ground and crashes into another building though, knocked prone. He doesn't seem to be in good condition!
Arcs of purple electricity start travelling up and down the various bones of SkullGreymon's form. It looks less like he's tiring himself out, and more like he's...building to an overload of some kind?

“Look here little punk, I’ve been around way before your time! And apparently I do!” How could Kai understand? It was Rei but….not Rei at the same time. Some spirits had a will of their own. Some can remember things, others were just blank beasts, and some wanted to take over their hosts body for ill intentions. These spirits are recycled through owners over time. In fact how it all worked was still lost on Flawizarmon, he just knew it was. A prime example of that was Mr. Skeleton head over there!
Rei had basically handed control over to him, since she didn’t know how to use her abilities properly. She trusted that instinct which actually turned out to be sentient. If only his power hadn’t been remarkably reduced thanks to the newbie. He really could have done a lot more and produced a stronger trap. “Oho not really unless I want to get ourselves killed! Your girlfriend- my master - or however ya want to call spirit users, I draw upon her strength! The fact that she doesn’t know anything greatly hinders me. We have to be harmonized and we're nowhere near that presently. So I’m gonna just sit here and watch ya throw your tantrum. ‘Cause it looks like if I say any more it won’t do good for ya. Brat.” He probably made it worse, but he wasn’t going to leave like Kai wanted.
They shouldn’t be arguing and let it drop.
The barrier vanished into glistening jagged pieces of data, just as Greymon lights up a few of Slullgreymons bones. The noise the large digimon sounded like someone else screaming from the pain.
That was Scout!
Flawizarmon stood, clenching his fists as Skullgremon released a fiery breath of its own. He couldn’t see what had happened! All he knew was that Greymon collided into another ruined building, the ground rumbling in his wake. It didn’t sound like he was in too good of shape. Maybe he was going to have to leave Kai and join after all. But like he said earlier, it was basically suicide. They were in no way strong like the others.
Argh he hated feeling helpless!
Well screw that, it was charging up for another attack! Electricity crackling in snaking lines down its skeletal structure...wait, that didn't look quite right.
In the meanwhile, maybe... he could provide another distraction. Without being noticed.
Flamingclouds.
The Wizard spread his arms upwards and waved them downwards. Above him, sparks of flames flashed into being, warping into hot blazing flames of clouds. Five of them decent in size, though not as big as they used to be. Alas it would have to do. The clouds soared high, flying directly overhead the Skullgreymon in circular momentum. Positioned, he striked downwards and the masses of fire followed his direction. They rained down upon Scout in fiery scorching bursts... Whatever was going on, he hoped it meant that the giant dinosaur will possibly change back in result.

What was Rei talking about? She had been part of this world for a few days, how could she possibly know more than him? It didn't make any sense! No, no, it did. Of course it did. Kai was unsuitable to be a Tamer. He knew that. Why had he let feelings of superiority cloud his mind? He knew nothing! He probably wasn't even meant to be a Tamer! Was it really any wonder that Rei knew more than him? He didn't really understand the whole 'spirit' and 'harmonizing' thing, but he wasn't in a state of mind to care. He wasn't a real Tamer. He couldn't synchronize the way Rei wanted him to, even if he tried. She should just... Leave him alone.
Scout broke free from his restraints. Which suited Shiro just fine. "Heavy Headbutt!" He shouted, as he dove for the much larger Digimon's shin, encased in a white glow. This was more like it! He was so engaged with the battle, that he didn't notice what was happening with his partner. Unlike Kuro, who broke off, and ran over to the human and Digimon. "Rei, leave him to me. You mean well, but this requires a partner's touch. Greymon and Shiro need you"
Oh, now Shiro was going to tell him to believe in himself, too? She should know better than anyone that he was unfit for this! She should know that he had not been meant to be their partner! But to his surprise, she said nothing. Just stared at him with her big, black eyes. Somehow... It helped. Sensing that her tamer had calmed himself, she spoke softly. "Kai, it is not your fault. If you had not told Scout to use this Spirit, we would have been overrun, and probably killed. But now... We need your help. We are hopelessly outmatched, and likely will not hold out for long. You are his friend. Perhaps... You can get through to him. Climb on my back, I will take you there. Are you willing?"
Was he willing? Kai did not know. But what he did know... Was that Kuro was right. He didn't exactly have a choice. He nodded his head slowly, and held his eyes closed for a moment. When he opened them again, they were not the dull eyes he had had. Neither were they especially focused, but they were enough. He somehow managed to clamber onto Kuro's back, holding tightly onto tufts of fur. She would hate it, but they didn't have much of a choice. Still... "I don't like the look of that electricity... Climbing will be dangerous until it disharges." Kuro nodded in agreement, then tensed, ready to dodge whatever came next.

Greymon may be down, but he's certainly not out yet! Whether it's determination or, more likely, the fact that he's a bulletproof, partially-metal dinosaur, he gets back to his feet with a loud roar. “Atomic Tornado!” And then, ridiculously, he begins to spin at such speed that he looks like nothing more than a colossal spinning top for several seconds. His tailgun begins to rapidly fire, each shot striking SkullGreymon as he whirls back that way.
The repeated attacks from Champion-level Digimon are certainly beginning to wear SkullGreymon down, but he's still going. The sounds of pain are becoming more pronounced, though. The electrical arcs discharge harmlessly into the sand, however more course through his body with each slow step he takes, emanating from his chest cavity. They don't seem harmful as such, just...well. Worrying!
Although, there's very little about this situation that wouldn't elicit worry.
