Fright Night - Halloween Site Event

"Welcome, one and all, to my house of horrors! I am Pumpkinmon, the curator of this little beauty. On the outside, it might look like your average haunted mansion. But inside? Why, it taps into your deepest, darkest fears. No two people will see the same thing once they step inside, as each will see their nightmares spring to life before their very eyes! Whether the traditional, the fancy, or the just plain bizarre, it twist, bend, and distort in all sorts of ways to accommodate for your fears.

Dare you spend the night in my humble abode? For those who can find the exit, I will reward you handsomely. And those who amuse me shall be even better taken care of. But beware! If you fail you might go mad, lost forever in this nightmarish maze!

Okay, so we'll let you out after Halloween. But you should've seen the look on your face when I said that. Priceless.

If the spooky story writing contest isn't your forte, here's a site event that's a little bit more IC. The challenge here is simple. Your character will be sent into a twisting labyrinth, patterned after their deepest, darkest fears. At each step of the way you will have different paths to take, obstacles in your way, and clues as to where the exit might be.

In addition, each member have a bonus objective available for their maze. Whether a fight, a scavenger hunt, or something completely different, there will be plenty for you to do if you want to explore the maze more.

This event is intended to be quick and simple, so only one person or one duo per maze. If going as a duo, please register together and make sure to post punctually after one another. After a day, your partner will be skipped to ensure we can make solid progress before Halloween. Signups will go on until October 27th, and I will do my best to make your thread within a day or two of your signing up.

The rewards are 3000 bits for a standard clear, with a boost to 5000 bits if you also complete your maze's bonus objective.

If you would like to sign up, please post your character's greatest fear in this thread (With acceptable deviations for tone, of course. This is intended to be fun and spooky, not deep, dark traumas.)  If you're unsure what to pick, just say random and I'll whip something up for you. I'll edit your post with a link to your event thread once it's been made.
