Marshal and Coronamon stayed absolutely still in the cramped capsule. This was a lot more serious than the two of them had originally anticipated.
Curious, Marshal looked over at Yuu and used his limited knowledge of sign language he had been accruing over time to silently communicate.
["Are you and Kyo able to Biomerge? It seems like all of the people in PROFIT have been able to do that. That could really come in handy, here."]

Well, the capsule wasn't really the most comfortable of spaces, but at least most of the digimons were pretty small, so that wouldn't be much of an issue. With any luck, the trip would be short and they'd land soon enough.
Not to say that there wouldn't be surprises on the way. Marshal being able to sign was something that Yuu had never expected, and even if his gestures were a bit sloppy, at least it was a pretty good start. She made sure to be clear when replying. ["Yup. Hopefully it won't be needed, but one never knows what might happen. Guess you're on the same boat? I'm not sure on what the others can do, but they at least seem to know each other, so I guess we'll be fine."]
One was pleasant and the other... not that much, however. Those Blimpmons didn't look to be here for tea and biscuits. Kyo's eyes widened for a split second, her face taking in a serious expression. "If those guys notice us, we're getting in some big trouble." She said calmly, regarding the group as her partner conducted some quick digivice scans; two champions, two ultimates, two megas and one that seemed to be a super mega. "So, we're all staying nice and quiet until we land, and probably after we land too. Just to make sure, if somebody jeopardizes the group's safety, they'll answer to me."
To be fair, the pair didn't know most of these guys at all, and if a Renamon had acted that weirdly towards a Gatomon's tail ring, who knew how she'd react to the Blimpmons. Just in case, Kyo was ready to act if she tried to to anything funny.

Vianna watched the sky as they steadily climbed. She looked outside with a look of wonder as they broke through the clouds. She seemed content with the view. Untill she spotted the blimpmons that was. With a gasp even louder than when she spotted the tail rings she climbed over everyone untill she was at the window. "Woah! That shiny thing is HUGE!" she was making a bunch of noise and moving a lot at the window. "Let me out! Let me out!" She wiggled past Anita who she had flattned against the seat when she climbed over top of her.
Vianna had never seen a shiny thing so big. She was less impressed with the huge digimon with a whole forest on its back and more amazed at the Blimpmon. She silently debated on how she could exit this thing and go steal at least one of them. After all there was multiple right? Why would the other blimpmon notice just one missing? Oh but their was everyone in here to deal with who would surely be angry at her for getting them caught.

Satsuki stared out at the horizon beyond them, a slight shiver of anticipation at seeing the collossal bird-like island.
That thing was alive. They were lucky she supposed that it was not seemingly hostile.
The various blimp-like Digimon though that hovered around the oasis in the sky certainly did not bring her comfort. She was sure that in those Blimpmon, other enemies were probably present. Not that her partner couldn't fight... but she was pretty sure that she was among the weakest here.
She'd just have to assist the group in other manners.
"If they want the fruit so badly, we might be able to take that to our advantage." She'd add in, glancing at the Arpamon by her side. "My partner has... an interesting ability that would let her be able to load and reconstruct data of objects. She's like... a sheep-shape thumbdrive for data if you will."
"Yup yup ~ I can keep it nice and safe if we can nab it first." Circe would also chip in, giggling impishly to herself. Admittingly she could do OTHER things beyond just being like a box for items, but what was the fun in spoiling potential surprises?
(OOC: Apologies, I've been having alot of real life issues recently. Emotional crap and that jazz. Will try and keep up with this though.)

Anita sighed: well, these initial responses concerning, to say the least: right here, at this crucial junction, the group's flaws shined right through. For one, there was Vianna, who was absolutely out-of-line and demanded to be let out of the capsule, even going as far as to shove the Gatomon out of the way! Her response, of course, was to pull the Renamon by her arm, hard, away from the window. "You pull that again and I'll fold you into cargo, you stupid fox." There was a hiss to her voice, clear anger in her eyes, masking a thick layer of concern.
And it wasn't just the fox, either: as the group landed in the forest, there was a surprising lack of direction from, well, everyone but Satsuki. To Kyo's credit, she was also trying to keep the Renamon in line, but Marshal and even Yuu seemed to spin their wheels. Were they just relying on their medic for leadership?
Because, honestly, this was about where her knowledge ended, even without the mysterious Blimpmon in the air! But, with a sigh, shaking her head, she gave a nod to Satsuki. "Honestly? That's the first good news I've heard since we've pulled ourselves off the ground... alright, its worth a shot. At the very least, I'll need you two out here in the woods." Well, if the Gatomon needed to be a leader, she would be: and with a glare, she looked towards Vianna. At this stage, they couldn't cover any of this Renamon's silly mistakes!
That said, she didn't give the fox direction, instead looking towards Marshal and Yuu. "You're the muscle, right? So here's the deal: if any of those Blimpmon get the idea to attack Ceresmon's back, we're all pretty toast. At the same time, the forces above aren't firing at us, and, honestly, its likely one of them already boarded this island."
She gave that a moment to process: "I can't guarantee what levels entered the forest, but if they manage to find the fruit first, and then attack Ceresmon, we're going to be caught out unless one of you can fight the armada. And its risky, but maybe both of you should be on 'defense'. Do what you need to do: board the big one, get an audience with their captain, or just hold the Blimpmon off straight-up."
Anita didn't like it - she wasn't a tactician - but it was the best she could think of in this situation. "Satsuki and I will head out into the woods, if this works for everyone... and I guess the fox, we'll have to drag her along, too. I have a way to find the Witchmon easily enough, anyway." She paused there, and looked over the group once more, as if hoping they had something to add.
And if not, well, the groups would be set...
'Defense' Group - Setting
Outside of the canopied forest of the Ceresmon's back, wind would be whipping through the hair of anyone who ventured outside, the air notably colder outside of the thick insulation of the foliage. The rest of Ceresmon's body still contained a light cover of greenery: thick bushes and small, drought-resistant trees flickered heavily in this frigid wind. And as they were above the crowd cover, the sun would be shining brightly overhead: looking up and to the right would put the bright sun deep in one's eyes.
For now, the Blimpmon maintained their holding pattern. The stronger ones at the back, especially, looked like they could fire on Ceresmon at a moment's notice, leaving an eerie feel to this calm. But as of now, these machines remained a mystery. But just what was the best way to act?
'Search' Group - Setting
Inside the canopy, one might even forget that they were this far into the sky: the thick foliage of the canopy left the area quite warm, an eerie heat rising off of the soil. There was no guarantee that the fruit was even in this forest, but as the Gatomon would push through the bushes, she'd pull another tag from her bag, given to her by the Witchmon.
And this one, once tossed in the air, pulsed with purple, magical symbols, and floated, leading them deeper into the forest. "Alright, so this way?" Yup, it was a simple spell, drawn to be attracted to the sister-Witchmon's magic. Explanations were scarce, as the group would make their way forward several yards, slowly through the woods, until they would step into a -
"Gah!"
The leading Anita crossed her arms, blasted back by a purple light! And standing in the middle of that clearing, sitting on her broom, was the Witchmon, a cross look in her eyes, as she prepared another spell. "Back, already! What you're looking for isn't here!"
Anita mumbled, but could only sit up, rubbing her head. "What was... what?" She winced, covering her eyes: whatever reason there was, she was just out of it!
"And there's more where that came from, so get!"

Now on the ground, the planning stages began. The potential armada below was an interesting development, and one that'd give this mission a fair amount of difficulty. Definitely not as much as the Renamon's presence, though. Both the Gatomon and Kyo didn't look to be very entertained by Vianna's antics, but, with any luck, she'd begin to behave. and this would go smoother. Anita, not wasting any time, decided to devise a plan. Solid enough, even though Yuu could surely give some of her input; if she wanted to be a leader, so be it. She began to sign quickly, Kyo translating to the group pretty much instantly. "I think we can help you search for the fruit; we can scan this island comparatively quickly, given no threats. As long as you can give us some hints of how the fruit or Witchmon looks, I'm sure we'll find them if given enough time." The pair would wait for Anita to explain herself on what they were exactly looking, or at least anything they could use as a clue to find it. "I can guess already it won't be much time before the hostilities begin, but until then, Marshal; I need for you to provide me with that time. Whether trying to parley or just distracting them from focusing on Ceresmon or our group is enough. Don't run any risks, though. As soon as you think you'll need our help..." Yuu brought out her notepad, scribbling quickly the same number twice. She tore the paper and handed one to Marshal and one to Satsuki. "This is my D-Terminal number; I trust on you having them. If you need my assistance, just send me a message; I'm sure I can be there pretty quickly."
If Anita had given them a good enough starting point, the blonde would dig into her jean's pocket, the screen of the D-Arc resting there already displaying the process that was about to happen. ["Let's go."]M A T R I X E V O L U T I O N The process was quick; both beings' bodies shining with a pale, violet glow before melding together into what would become BeelStarrmon. "Let's get moving." Now that the leads were given, the demoness would begin to comb the area, making sure to go as quickly as she could while not missing any possible detail that could bring them closer to the fruit... or potential enemies, while at it. As she attempted to go back and forth, she'd eventually notice Anita being attacked by... Witchmon. Common sense told her that this wasn't okay, and that the digimon had probably... lost her mind, or something. This would probably be an unnecessary hindrance... so, in a quick gesture, she'd attempt to close the gap between the two and pistol whip her right in the back of the head. Of course, the intention behind the attack was to incapacitate, not to kill, so she had measured her force.
Just used a basic attack against the Witchmon.

Just like that, Marshal had been tasked with dealing with the armada below. While the option of parley seemed reasonable, Marshal also had the subtlety of an atomic bomb when it came to negotiations like that. Though, perhaps that could work in his favor.
"We understand," he assured the others. "We'll do what we can." As the rest of them went off to check the island, he made Coronamon Digivolve into Firamon so the two of them could make their way to the small fleet of Blimpmon. With any luck, Firamon would be able to reason with whoever they were up against. They also hoped that the enemy wouldn't be weirded out by the presence of a human. They'd hang back and observe the fleet from a short distance, attempting to avoid detection.

Satsuki had to give credit when it was due, this Gatomon was just as temperamental as a real cat should be. They did not give any shits towards the extremely nosy Vianna.
At the very least, looks like they all were finally at least getting their acts together. Things seemed simple at least. The two other tamers and their partners would be their offense and keep any brutes out of the way, while she, Vianna and Anita would head deeper into the forest to try and find Witchmon's sister.
Shouldn't be a problem as long as SOMEONE doesn't go and mess up this entire mission for them.
So the blonde haired girl with the black Plotmon was mute apparently. Go figure. At least they seemed to have a good idea of what they were doing.
She did however have to admit that seeing the two suddenly seem to fuse... well, it caught her off guard. So THIS was the kind of muscle that Gatomon meant. She actually had never witnessed such a feat before, nor even knew such a tactic existed.
Wonder how strong they were... Was the other human also capable of fusing with their partner?
Curious and curiouser.
Satsuki remained somewhat quiet throughout the trek through the forest, trying to not bring attention to herself. The Gatomon obviously knew what they were doing, she was just here to help assist her in the matter.
They just needed to find Witchmon's sister, then the fruit. Miss western and fire lion boy could clean up the mess here, then they could hightail off Ceresmon and get paid. It should have been a simple procedure if Yuu and Marsh-whatever did their jobs with keeping the pressure off them.
Turns out their first assailant wasn't one of the opposing side... but rather their very target herself, the Champion level having knocked away their feline guide with a spell of some sort.
Satsuki could not help but groan slightly. Things never were this easy, were they? While Circe went to try and get Anita back up, Satsuki was the one to stand defiantly at the Witchmon.
"Hey, hey! We're not the ones you have to worry about! Your sister sent us to help keep the fruit safe!" She'd exclaim to the Witchmon, trying to at least convince the demon woman that they were not enemies.
But then of course, the gun-toting buxom woman had to show up and whack their target with the butt of a pistol.
Satsuki's pupils shrank to pricks as she saw what just transpired, unable to believe what just happened. "... Did you REALLY have to go and do that." She'd say, surprisingly quite calmly given the panicked look on her face.
Circe on the other hand thought the little act was quite hilarious frankly, holding back a snicker. Perhaps just because it was funny to see a Super Mega level Digimon attack so nonchalantly, knowing full well what they could do if pressured.
To the sheep Digimon, it was a funny thought to dwell upon.

Alright, Yuu's suggestion was also an acceptable splitting of resources. Anita knew the risks of having both 'bruisers' potentially out of reach, and nodded along with the mute tamer's plan. And she also brought up another point: "Well, it'll be another Witchmon... apparently she occasionally dabbles in blue robes instead of red, but either way, she'll be the only Witchmon up here. And as for the fruit itself..." She bit her lip, in thought. "Its pretty big, like maybe, the size of a grapefruit, and might be a purplish color? Honestly, the Witchmon has a better idea than I do."
At this point, she seemed pretty confident that the sorceress would clear up a lot of the clout on this mission... but then again, she also thought that the sorceress knew that they were coming in the first place! Either way, the group would be split...
'Defense' Group - Marshal and Coronamon
It was perhaps a blessing that Marshal had directed Coronamon into the form of a Firamon, and no further: even though the fiery Digimon was quite visible against the green landscape, it seemed that they were still beneath the Blimpmon's notice, at least enough that they didn't decide to break pattern. That, or Marshal had stayed beneath the foliage enough to be out of the machine's level of notice -
Ah, no, that wasn't the case. In the far back, the strongest Blimpmon shone down a spotlight, right towards the Firamon's position. It was just a spotlight, though, the cannons not charging or even clicking to attack position. In fact, beneath the main spotlight would be a blinking, green light, a signal of some sort. Was it a signal indicating for Marshal to approach, or just a warning?
Actually, why would the Blimpmon assume Marshal knew what the lights meant at all?
'Search' Group - Satsuki & Circe, Beelstarmon, Anita, Vianna
While one front remained calm, the other delved into pure chaos. Anita still rubbed her head when the Arpamon approached, dazed from the blast, as Witchmon maintained her defensive pose. She had called for the other group to get away, and at that distance, it was relatively easy for them to shout at each-other, which was what Satsuki took advantage of:
"Hey, hey! We're not the ones you have to worry about! Your sister sent us to help keep the fruit safe!"
"My sister? Tch... what proof do you -"
Well, that seemed to be out the window! As the super mega approached, the Digimon would feel herself pass through two thin 'barriers' as she closed the distance. The Wichmon wasn't incompetent in setting up her defense, after all, and around the Nightmare Soldier's frame would be a pulsing purple aura, a mixture of the red and blue that were now afflicting the target. And whatever the Witch had done, it had done something, as that intended pistol-whip was caught with the edge of her broom!
"Excuse you!" She scoffed, able to slightly divert the attack. And a moment later, she would kick back, building a bit more distance from the super mega! "Like my sister would send that demon's wench to help me!"
Alright, that had taken diplomacy down a few steps, and it seemed the problems were building: pulling her paw away from her eyes, Anita blinked, shaking her head. "I... what am I doing... huh?" She looked to the Arpamon, then to the next closest - Satsuki.
"Oh, don't try it, thief." The forest witch smirked. "I've scattered your-"
"Last I remember, I was... ugh... meeting up with Witchmon for something-"
"Short... term..." Hearing the Gatomon, she stammered for a moment. "... Oh, my, you're telling the truth, aren't you. Ooooh dear..."
BeelStarmon is afflicted with 'Weakness'. BeelStarmon is afflicted with 'Slow'. Anita's memory of this mission thus far is lost.

Marshal quickly hid his Digivice and put his hands in the air as soon as the Blimpmon shone a spotlight upon the two of them. Firamon stood firm.
"We mean you no harm!" the Champion shouted out to them. "We would like to negotiate with whoever is in charge of this operation."
The Blimpmon's reaction was anyone's guess. Marshal was a bit concerned that whoever was in charge here was beyond the point of negotiation. Worse came to worse, they could potentially take out a few of the Blimpmon with little issue, but the bigger ones might be more problematic.

The information was appreciated, even though Yuu doubted on the possibility of that Witchmon being the only one in this island. They had no knowledge on the enemy intel, and if they had access to a Super Mega, that meant they could have all kinds of nasty surprises in hand. Better to be prepared for anything, just to be sure. She had to admit that Witchmon was good; even if the attack was made with greatly measured force, the mere fact that she had been able to avoid it was surprising, just like the fact that right now, BeelStarrmon didn't feel... quite okay. Oh well, this wasn't a first timer.
What was a first timer for her, however, was that this particular Witchmon wasn't a doppelganger sent to divert them, or somebody who had been mind controlled, but just... somebody who didn't know the group wouldn't come. And after retaliating with some gratuitous insults, it all dawned upon them.
All seriousness extinguished from the scene, the demoness' palm slowly went towards her face as she let out an exasperated sigh. "Really?" Befuddlement was the most obvious quality of her voice. "Seems like your dear sister forgot to tell us that you weren't expecting our arrival. Or to tell you to expect it, for that matter; such a minute detail..." Nothing too important, right? The digimon could only wonder if that Witchmon had withdrawn even more information to them. And if it would result in more unfortunate consequences. Still, they didn't have time for this. "Okay, left foot start. We both thought the other was an enemy, but now that that's solved, let's get down to this. We are to retrieve the fruit, and your sister told us you were the one who knew about its location; anything we have to know about the situation at hand or anything you might want to mention about it? Because if not, we don't have the luxury of wasting time with those blimps out there."
Hopefully, she'd be willing to cooperate now. Because otherwise, given Anita's newfound lack of memories, they would be pretty much completely lost on what to do. Speaking of which... "By the way, can you restore her memories? Or... you're unable to?"

Satsuki struggled to fight back her frustration with the events unfolding here. Their guide apparently lost their train of thoughts, which meant they lost their lead. "Ugh... why is it that we have to take two steps back each time we take a step forward?" She'd mumble before trying to speak to the amnesiac cat while their "ally" negotiated with the Witchmon. "Yo, cat! Can you remember anything? Come on... we don't have time for this!"
"I think the puddy tat lost her marbles ~ " Circe chirped impishly, not terribly concerned by the implications of what that meant to them. The Rookie level certainly had... an interesting way of viewing things to say the least. This was FAR more engaging than just following the leader.
Satsuki could not help but groan irritantly. Looked like they were going to have to go and rely on witchy here to actually make progress now if Anita was out of action memory-wise. "God damn it." She'd mutter before turning to the sorceress.
"Yes, we are. We shouldn't dawdle. I imagine time is of the essence here, and we don't want unsavory folk getting their mittens on the fruit first. Please, if you can... we need your help." She'd state before glancing back to the gut-toting demoness. "Err... and for you, care I ask... as to whom should I refer to you as? Yuu or Kyo. For future convenience of course."
Honestly, she wasn't even sure WHAT to call them. They seemed to be a Digimon (that third eye on their mask being a bit unnerving frankly,) but she was sure that this was a fusion between human and Digimon. She was mostly minding her manners for the sake of progress, they needing to be diligent if they are to succeed. "Either way, I'll try my best to take things from here. Just... make sure that whats his face doesn't go and set off the Blimpmon on a rampage, okay?" She'd ask them, referring to Marshal and his fiery feline sidekick. They WERE the muscle after all.
All Satsuki hoped was that would be enough.

Defense Group
Well, that was perhaps a reaction the ship didn't expect, though they still weren't dealing with any sort of resistance. Actually, just by gesture, it almost seemed like Marshal and Coronamon were simply surrendering this operation, at least in some eyes. But even if that was the case, it did seem odd: what was the point of negotiation if they could just aim five sets of cannons directly on the target?
This could have been the doubt burning in Marshal's mind, or perhaps not: either way, underneath the Blimpmon, behind the spotlight, there was a single hiss of air, a single hatch opening to reveal...
A loading ramp. They were being offered a way right inside.
Search Group
To be honest, it was a little difficult to lead peaceful conversation with the super-mega who just tried to hit you in the back of the head. This thought still hadn't left the Witchmon's mind, as the much stronger Digimon found it wise to scold her for her actions. "Well, excuse me for being a touch cautious when those warships are in the air!" She gritted her teeth clear frustration in her voice as that pause came between them...
... And in that interval, she took a deep breath, and sat on her now-floating broom. Yes, it had started with a misunderstanding, and yes, now time was of the essence. Carefully, the Witchmon listened to her words: they were there to retrieve the fruit, her sister had managed to reply for their call for help, and now it was on her to help this group search for the fruit. And with that, the Witchmon was suddenly put on the spot! "Mm, my sister's gone that far for this, huh?" She mulled over it, as if gathering her thoughts...
... But before she could answer, Yuu brought up a different point: their Gatomon friend's condition. To that inquiry, she simply shook her head. "Ain't like that, sorry. Its much easier to tear down a sandcastle than put it back together... but, what, Terminus field medic?" She spotted the band around Anita's shoulder. "I don't think she's completely out of it."
As for Anita, well, the first thing that she felt was a strong ringing in her ears. As Satsuki chirped ta her and Circe 'teased', the feline bared her fangs, swiping one paw, muttering: "Back up, back up..." Right, she had to think: she raised both her hands, to each side of her head, a green aura radiating over herself for a moment. She was a field medic in the Digital World, and unlike the human side, assessing your own injuries came with a much wider variety of factors. Based on the conversation going on, it seemed like her memory was damaged.
And, slowly, she closed her eyes. One hand slipped to her side, patting her supply bag. "I'm equipped... and here with a group... and that Witchmon's wearing a different color... so I'm on Ceresmon, right?" She blinked. "And... you're the group - I hope you're the group... I'm to be a medic for..." Each thought came with a pause, slowly piecing this together. Perhaps Satsuki would fill in the holes for her, or perhaps not, but she slowly stood up, and gave a nod towards Satsuki.
"Like clockwork." The Witchmon even managed a smile at this point, and returned her focus to Yuu. With a 'snap', the two curses that were applied to the Beelstarmon's body were lifted. "My intent was to wipe the memory of anyone who came into the forest so they'd just forget why they were here. Still, if its come this far, then I guess I can lend a hand:
The fruit's a pale-blue color, and gives a faint glow around itself. And we call it a 'fruit' for how it looks, but the one she's talking about, well, its actually a hard-rock crystal: Ceresmon's data core." Digimon would have a better understanding of that than the people here: basically, it was Ceresmon's 'heart'. "Planted in the soil, it produces a ripe, pink fruit, what we use to make the elixir. Though, either form of the fruit ending up in their hands ain't a good idea... so I hid it."
Where did she hide it, though?
"Yes, I hid it... somewhere inside of Ceresmon's canopy. And I cursed the soil around it, so the plants wouldn't give off that bright, visible pink fruit." She seemed to be dancing around the point, though! "And then I made myself forget where I hid it!"
"... Are all of you Witchmon one-trick ponies-"
"Heh... but just like I did with you, um, 'Yuu', I can lift the curse at will. A minute after, the fruit will ripen and begin to bud..."
And the problem, well, that was self evident: what if the invaders found it first, after she did that? The Witchmon's knowing, hesitant smile was a hint enough. "You got it? If I do that, its all in your hands to find it. And fast."

Firamon breathed a slight sigh of relief and reverted into Coronamon as the loading ramp extended itself. He looked over at Marshal, who seemed to be lost in thought about something. He seemed to be forming his plan.
"You should do the talking," Marshal instructed. "I have no idea how things like this are supposed to go."
"You think I do?" Coronamon replied.
Marshal figured as much. That was fine, as long as the two of them didn't get separated. His plan pretty much relied on the two of them being at least somewhat near each other. With a deep breath, the two of them continued up the ramp.

Well, at least things began to advance a bit more smoothly at the moment. It wasn't hard for BeelStarrmon to get that her presence was unnerving, though. For some reason, it seemed that she wasn't being... trusted or something? Oh well, that didn't matter. She wasn't here to be trusted or not; there was a fruit to be found, right? "Your caution's totally acceptable, Witchmon. I think we don't have time to discuss what happened earlier at the moment, however..."
Briefly, she looked back at the only human present at the moment, before shrugging. "Either or is fine; whatever's more comfortable for you's okay for me." The conversation ensuing as normal. At first, she thought that Satsuki's arguments were fair; after all, if they had found the one who knew about the fruit's location, then it wouldn't be much work to actually find it, but... as Witchmon explained on, the digimon collided with the harsh truth; she didn't know where the fruit was, and their way to find it was more or less... running against time, again.
Oh well, at least Anita seemed to be recovering her memory at a rather accelerated pace; that was a good new amidst this strange test. "Not going to lie; seems like it's best if we focus as many resources as we can in the search for the fruit; Marshal's already a big boy, so I'm sure he'll know how to handle himself. Now, regarding us; since it's plain obvious that our methods differ a bit, why don't we split up? You can search through the east of the canopy, and I'll take the west on my own; that's going to make us way more likely to find the fruit before something catastrophic happens. What do you say?"
In all honesty, that sounded like their best shot at finding the fruit in time. Who knew what was searching the fruit in this place, but pushing their luck was bound to finish not well at all.
