K gave him a small smile as he allowed her to help him up; he could of managed it himself but honestly if she could help people she would. She'd tilt her head and frown just a bit however when he seemed a bit exasperated. She'd go to speak but then the mikemon continued.
He told her that he was a dear friend, that she was an honest and straightforward digimon. She let out a soft sigh as she could just feel the tenseness in the room practical triple. When he told her that he learned something about her data, something she should know. Positively without a doubt the digimon fidgeted and took a seat. She looked beyond nervous; her face grew rather serious and she'd rub the back of her head.
Calm life... I can't do that anymore. Not with... not with the town gone. I can't rebuild that.
She'd look down at her hands, thinking things through. Her silence had to be absolutely unnerving. He asked what she wanted to do. The problem is she would always wonder what he wanted to tell her, what he was going to tell her. If she turned him away at this point she would never know and she doubted she could ask a second time for him to explain it out to her.
"I appreciate the Sentiment Mikemon. But if it's something you think I should know. Something that'll change my life, even if it's for the worse that just means I NEED to know. Else it'll gnaw at me till the day my data turns over."
She'd clench her hands rather tightly and growl.
"It's been far too long since I had a good friend. One that isn't afraid to tell me things if need be. Thank you."

K was as straightforward as ever. Though K was nervous, her resolve pushed her to want to know the answer. The wolf's reply earned a small smile from the Mikemon, a nod given to his impromptu patient. "Alright, take a seat, then." He motioned to the chair she was on before, the feline moving to stand his chair back up. Instead of take his perch across the table, though, he simply snagged his papers, and dragged the seat over so that he could more properly show K his notes.
Once he took his seat, Doctor Mikemon gave a nod, and held the scratch-work so that K could observe. "Honestly, from the start, I was quite confused looking at your core. Here," the Mikemon tapped the largest core with a pen, "Is 'your' core. Its a green, vaccine element core." He scribbled a 'Va' to mark the circle, before moving to the two smaller ones. "And the two that I had said you absorbed? This one is 'Data'," which he marked with a 'D', "And Virus," marked with 'Vi'. Following this, the pen circled around the three, tracing around the 'cord' that he had drawn earlier.
"Ordinarily, absorbed data doesn't look like this. It should look like..." He drew a straight line from the center core, and then made a small circle. "Like that. The center core draws information, until its integrated entirely. That these cores even have remained for so long is strange by itself, but it seems that energy is flowing around this coil. Instead of drawing everything in, its pushed around in a loop."
Did K get any of that? Well, it was about to get weirder, as the Mikemon tapped at his notes. "But I was actually able to talk to these cores. All three of them, actually, and they spoke in very clear terms about you. Judging by how your core is organized, I have no reason to doubt them."
He paused, drawing a deep breath. "Long ago, this green ball was some powerful Vaccine level Digimon. At some point, it came into contact with two others... an Examon," he tapped the 'virus' ball, "And a 'Jesmon'," And there was a tap at the 'Data' ball. "For whatever reason, the Vaccine type thought it necessary to stop the other two. Through combat or some other method, it was able to absorb and subdue the other two, but their own will was too powerful to hold by normal means..."
The point of all this? "The Vaccine type, as far as I could tell, sacrificed its own form to create a new existence. By putting itself in such a link, it could hold the other two cores in line. But it had to suspend its own consciousness to do so... which meant another Digimon was created. One who would be unaware of this entire data set below the surface."
He sighed. "K... why you've never died, but have no recollection of this earliest time is simple. You are the creation made, so these three cores could keep each-other in check. Until recently, you kept these in perpetual check with your monstrously stable core..."

K would lean so that she could look at the papers again; with explanation she hoped she'd understand more what this would be diagram was. Hopefully it wasn't anything too bad.. But she had a rather dreadful feeling that wasn't the case.
"All right..."
K would quietly sit there, nodding every now and again to let the other digimon known that she was still paying attention. When he explained the intial bit of having three cores she stroked her muzzle thoughtfully. It made sense to say the least so far, but why was there three in general?
"I'd be confused too if that's not supposed to look like that..."
She'd frown a bit and continue listening; the next bit was rather strange as he explained how the core would normally operate. Drawing in information from the two other cores. The fact that the energy was flowing around the coil made her bristle. A giant loop? Is that why she sometimes got those headaches? Or was that just the tip of the iceberg... Speaking of headaches, the migraine she had collectively got worse and worse as the mikemon explained what he had seen. And what he had done.
"So it absorbed two other super mega class digimon, and this whole time their cores have been kept inside of me?"
She looked rather nervous when the Mikemon explained out what the Vaccine had done. Sacrificing it's own form, creating a link.. Suspending it's consciousness. Then he got to the part which must be what he had intended to share. Her visage paled and she'd look down at her hands. She could see that they were shaking.
"So.. the stability of the last.. Millennia was simply three cores that refused to integrate for whatever reason.... Does that mean I didn't come from an egg?"
She put up a hand to her head, wincing as the headache grew in size. It was nearly overwhelming. She'd got to speak again and then clutch at her head midway through what she was saying. Rather than talk normally however, her words were jumbled and a strange blueish glow took over her eyes.
For the first minute or so it was garbled speak before something fixed itself and the shutmon crossed it's arms. She looked pissed. In fact it was an expression K had likely never made towards any individual. The voice was decidedly feminine but sounded like an angel was talking; rather heavenly and righteous. With power laced in every word...
"WE WERE NOT DONE TALKING FRIEND OF THE ANOMALY. YOU LEFT AT A CRUCIAL JUNCTION AND HAVE ERRED BECAUSE OF IT. NOW THE LOOP CANNOT BE ENDED AS THE OTHER TWO HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE. PROVIDE ALTERNATIVE."

Mikemon knew with every word, that this information could destroy K's perception of herself. But still he pressed on, his voice level and his tone, at least initially, informative. So long as the Shutmon understood the information well enough, he'd press on:
"As far as I can tell, yes: a powerful Vaccine type took in the data of a Jesmon and an Examon. Those three powerful cores make a loop, and that loop produces your conscious mind." It was a heavy thing to say for sure, but as for the simple question of if she came from an egg? "It's entirely possible that your creation didn't involve an egg, yes. Or perhaps an egg was created when the loop was first started, but really, it's impossible to tell." Nor was it really that important.
But as K clutched at her head, the Mikemon swore under his breath. Did merely saying the diagnosis agitate the spirits? It was entirely possible! "Hey, stay with me there, K! I'll get-" Just as he was about to hop off his chair, though, the eyes took a blue glow. The Shutmon's expression changed instantly, sheer anger in both her expression and tone. The words that came out of K's mouth were intended to intimidate the Mikemon, and the cat?
He didn't take it lying down. "The alternative," he spat, "Is that you don't stop the loop! Leave her the ---- alone. This era isn't one for you to come back in!" He matched the spirit's anger, meeting those glowing eyes with his own, a red tint entering his gaze.
"Leave. Her. Be."

The explanation and information didn't destroy K's sense of self, if anything it made it a little more re-assuring knowing where she came from. It was somehow invigorating and frustrating at the same time.
"Makes sense. I wonder if my parents even really existed..."
The shutmon on the other hand when controlled by whatever "force" snorted in irritation. It'd shake the head of the shutmon when told the initial alternative. Also indicating that they would be coming back. It'd point firmly at the mikemon, frowning massively.
"UNACCEPTABLE. WE ARE UNABLE TO STOP THE LOOP WHILE THE OTHERS ARE AWARE. IT WAS A MEANS TO AN END WHEN THEY WERE. NOW THAT THE ANOMALY HAS BEEN MADE AWARE THEY TOO HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE."
The Voice insisted and leaned forward, noting the red tint. It's hand reaching forard not to grab at the digimon but it certainly didn't seem one hundred percent friendly.
"WE WERE NEVER MEANT TO COME BACK. AN ANOMALY WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE FORMED. WE CANNOT LEAVE HER ALONE. SHE IS BOTH THE SOLUTION TO THE LOOP AND THE CREATION OF IT."
The blue tint looked tired, as though it was exerting itself a little bit too much.
"WE NEED AN ALTERNATIVE THAT KEEPS THE ANOMALY FROM LOSING ITSELF AND MAINTAINS THE LOOP IN A POSITIVE MANNER. AN ADDITIONAL VACCINE CORE COULD BE THE BEST SOLUTION. AS COULD DATA OR VIRUS. IF SHE IS LEFT TO GESTATE FOR TOO LONG, EXAMON AND JESMON WILL BREAK FREE FROM THE LOOP. DESTROYING THE ANOMALY. IF THAT ALTERNATIVE IS UNACCEPTABLE PROVIDE A SECOND ONE THAT IS NOT INACTION."

This voice didn't know when to call it quits, did it?
It seemed that Mikemon's attempt at intimidating this presence wasn't enough for it to back down. Rather, this possessed Shutmon stepped forward, pointing at the doctor from mere inches away. Once more he was being talked down to, and once more, the voice gave its angry plea. This time, however, this ancient voice finally had something useful to say:
K needed her own core, or she was going to vanish. As much as the Mikemon wanted to retort, he was forced to bite his lip. If the Shutmon continued to change forms, the imbalance would be thrown off further and further. Whether or not K would be destroyed, each change would slowly steal away her sense of self. He already knew that this was the case, and so he had no reason to believe that the voice was lying.
It took swallowing a fair bit of pride, but the Mikemon slowly loosened his hands, giving a deep breath out. "Fine. I will look into attempting to manufacture a core out of 'Free' or 'Vaccine' data. If push comes to shove, I have the core of a Rapidmon in my own data. However, this isn't a one-way deal." The feline gave a glare: "She's not an anomaly. Her name is 'K', and you will do everything in your power to keep her stable. Now. Leave her be, for now."

The 'Shutmon' paused when it noticed the fact that the mikemon wasn't retorting immediately. It sat back down and crossed it's arms; looking fairly annoyed. It shifted and glared at the mikemon; daring him to say something that would make it have to act albeit rather foolishly.
"CORES ARE ABLE TO BE MANUFACTURED? WOULD THE POWER BE COMPARABLE TO THAT OF MY OWN? A RAPIDMON IS TOO WEAK. THOUGH IT IS THE CORRECT TYPE OF CORE. UNLESS IT IS ONE THAT HAS ACHIEVED POWER BEYOND THAT OF IT"S GIVEN FORM?
The Shutmon paused and stroked it's chin thoughtfully; getting a wolfish grin after a few moments.
"AN ACCORD THEN. WE WILL REFER TO THIS ANOMALY AS K FURTHER ON. WE WILL ALSO 'LEAVE' HER BE. IF SHE IS THREATENED I WILL STEP IN PERSONALLY.
The light started to fade out and the grin deepened.
"I AM. GRACENOVAMON. A KNIGHT OF LUMINAS JUSTICE AND A GUARDIAN OF THE DIGITAL EXPANSE. YOU HAVE MY WORD THAT OUR ACCORD WILL BE HONORED. IF YOU NEED TO TALK AGAIN. MERELY DO ANOTHER ONE OF THESE... CHECK UPS."
The light faded completely from the Shutmon's eyes, and rather than talk K simply sagged in her seat. Her data untraveled and she was back in the renamon form that she had initially been seen in by the mikemon.
With one key difference. There were three bands of blue on her left arm. In the midst of them a symbol somewhat simular to a sigil knights would employee was present. The renamon didn't speak at all though, as it was quite obvious she had passed out from the experience. The voice hissed out one last bit before going back to it's 'home'.
She will be fine.

Thankfully, the Mikemon seemed to have reached this core's intrigue. Could a powerful enough core be simply created? "A core is but one aspect that makes up a Digimon. There's already theory behind making a shell itself, and I should be able to work on a shell that will suit your needs." Alternatively, the Mikemon could try strengthening the Rapidmon's core, which was already at a mega-state to begin with.
But they soon struck a deal: the cores would leave K alone, and Doctor Mikemon would provide them a shell, one way or another. This presence would additionally protect K. In her brilliant posture, she finally revealed the form of the Vaccine core: GraceNovamon. "I'll hold you to that, Knight. I will observe her data directly if we need to talk again."
Soon enough, though, that presence finally left K. Her slumped state, followed by a set of data stripping away from her frame, caused the Mikemon to blink in surprise. Was it just too much for her to handle? "K! Are you-"
No, no, she wasn't in danger. After a month of being trapped in this Ultimate form or higher, K finally returned to her 'resting' state, that of a Renamon. She was slumped over the side of the chair, the cat quickly moving to catch her side. "Careful there, I got you..." It took a little effort, but the Renamon would soon be lying on her back, resting on that observation bed. Once she was settled, his gaze briefly settled on the blue bands floating around her arm.
"K..." As the spirit's last comment flicked past his ear, the Mikemon gave a sigh. Was the Renamon even aware about any of what was going on? Briefly, he rested the back of his paw on her forehead, checking if her head felt hot. He stepped back soon after, a small smile on his face as he moved to his desk.
"We'll have a lot to talk about."

"VERY WELL. IT NEEDS TO BE COMPARABLE TO ONE OF US ELSE IT WILL SIMPLY BE CONSUMED."
The core seemed rather pleased with the idea of having another core rather quickly. Or at least what would constitute quick in it's eyes.Seeing as it had literally waited for what seemed to be hundreds of digital years...
The next statement the mikemon made was not graced with an answer in any fashion. There was simply no need; seeing as the other digimon was basically affirming what it had demanded. Or insinuated. The tone of that portion was more vague than anything else that it had said.
The renamon wasn't in any way shape or form in one of mind to talk at the moment. She looked drained, absolutely exhausted and on top of it all? Her eyes were blank for the most part. Unfocused in their entirely and half lidded....
The blue bands spun lazily but the sigil remained in place. It seemed content to just float there. Were the mikemon to check the strength of the bands, they were comparable to a super mega.. But all they did was simply exist to mark this form for whatever reason.
But what could that reason be?
Her head didn't feel hot. In fact she seemed to be perfectly fine considering all that had happened. K wouldn't move for just about eight hours...
In which...
She'd jolt up suddenly, gasping and clutching at her chest. Her form flickered as though glitching out for a moment and she shakily looked down at her hands. Her state seemed stable, but it was obvious whatever had transpired had shaken her.
"Yggdrasil's mighty branches..."

It made sense that K was completely drained. The whole deal with the GraceNovamon aside, the Renamon had quite literally hopped from the Eastern Timberlands to the Southern Tropics, as well as spent several hours in her mega state. Moreso than that, though, was that K finally reverted back to her rookie state, and a month's worth of fatigue would take over her at once.
All Mikemon could do for this time was let K rest. The Renamon would lie there overnight, Doctor Mikemon taking to his own room to catch his own five or six hours of sleep. He intended for it to be longer, but either he or the Stingmon had to keep an eye on her, for when she finally woke up. Thus, when K shot up from the bed and grasped at her chest, the feline was already there! Standing up from his own desk, he called out: "Easy, easy there, K." His voice was firm, but careful, as he made his way to the side of the bed. That little 'scratch' in her data was concerning, but considering everything else, it wasn't the worst state she could be in.
"Deep breath, count back from ten. You're a Renamon - try and keep that form for now." He was careful with his tone, not trying to set anything off. There would be a lot to explain, but first? "Tell you what, how about I get the coffee on? We can discuss this once we're settled for the morning."

She almost panicked, it felt strange to be in this form again. Something was keeping her down here. She could feel a pressure, it was gentle and another pressure was trying to move her along further.
The strangest thing is that there were a pair of pressures keeping her there. Not just one. It was frustrating to feel and her form flickered again before solidifying firmly.
"Ugh... It feels like something is pushing against me. Two somethings... It's weird... "
She'd mutter and run a hand through her fur a shakey but relieved sigh when she found that it was the form of the renamon she was used to being in. She'd gently count back from ten, though when she got down to one again her form jittered again but before anything could happen the band glowed quite brightly and her jittering ceased in it's entirety.
"Hah... Did looking that deep really upset my data or something.. ugh..."
She'd bring a hand to her head and let out a small sigh again.
"Yes. Lets do that. I could use a coffee.. At least i don't have a migraine anymore."
She'd shift and try to stand up, almost falling over at first but she seemed to right herself almost supernaturally. It was like something was keeping a very close eye on her...

Each time that the Renamon's data flickered or gave a small phase, the Mikemon carefully observed her appearance. It made sense that her data would be a little unstable, as K's three separate cores were currently wrestling for a new state of stability. It wouldn't have been too surprising if she jumped back to her Shutmon form.
Just because it made sense, however, didn't mean that the thought wasn't concerning. Slowly, K's form began to stabilize, ultimately settled by the glowing bands around her left arm. It seemed that the Renamon wasn't quite aware of just what had happened before she passed out, but that could wait for a bit: "Don't worry, your data should be settling soon. Ah, and easy, there..." He stepped back, as the Renamon pulled herself up. "Its been a while since you've been in this form, so it'll take a minute to adjust back to your balance."
Still, it didn't take long to get back into the swing of things. Back out in the waiting room, the smell of coffee already filled the place. Stingmon made a fresh pot every morning, and with a small wave, a paper cup of black coffee was provided to both of them. That, and a small breakfast pastry, would make up their impromptu breakfast.
Settled in, and hopefully with K's balance and head more settled, the Mikemon would finally ask: "Well, before I show you what your 'core' had to say last night, I guess I should ask - how are you feeling? Any problems keeping that form, so far?"

K at the very least was fairly worried about what had transpired when she had "passed" out. She had a distinctmemory of Mikemon telling her about what he had seen and then simply... Nothing after that. She'd frown a little bit and rub her muzzle; looking somewhat out of sorts.
"Y-yeah... It's lower and my body feels alot lighter. Though at least I have fur in each digivolution thus far. I can only imagine how it'd feel to suddenly not."
She'd let out a small laugh and rub her neck. When they ended up going into the waiting room for both coffee and the impromptu breakfast K felt a little more stable if not outright hungry. So of course there was quite a few food stuffs that simply vanished because of it. She'd pause to answer what the mikemon had asked, rubbing her muzzle again.
".....In scope of things. I feel okay. But the flickering and... there's this weird pressure. Two bits of it, with another pressure pushing up. I don't know what it means but it's like.. each time I flicker it's the pressures meeting again. As far as keeping this form.. I don't have a migraine or the like so.. there's that at least."
There was a small pause and she frowned.
"I don't feel drained either. In fact I feel like I hadn't spent those three days in CresGarurumon or the whole Month of shutmon."

Honestly, there was more than enough to go around as far as cheap breakfast food, and with a second cup of coffee in front of each of them, the two started to discuss what had transpired last night. As K described her current condition, the feline nodded in recognition. "What you describe is in line with what I figured out last night. Your three cores are in contention. Now, this may be difficult, but..."
He turned, directing to a screen to his right of the table. "I had Stingmon pull the tapes and audio from last night. This should already be set to the point where you lost your memory. Let's see..." Plucking up the remote, he tapped 'play'. After a moment of static, the time and date would tick away in the top right. K would see herself as a Shutmon ask if she came from an egg...
... And shortly after, she'd see how her own eyes pulsed blue, and as that strange voice took herself over. The GraceNovamon's entire conversation with Mikemon played by. If K requested it, he'd replay any other part she wanted to see again, and describe the condition to the best of her ability.
The video would end when K reverted to a Renamon, and collapsed against the observation bed. There, the Mikemon would pause, and give a sigh. "... That's how it is."

K scratched her head and she'd sigh softly at what Mikemon said. This was sounding to be complicated already; something she wasn't sure if she should know but she had already decided earlier. She needed to see this through didn't she?
"That's... fantastic."
She'd shake her head slowly; feeling a little awkward. How could she have multiple cores along with them being in disagreement? That was simply not.. How cores should work.
"All right. This is going to be very weird..."
She'd lean in to watch, her ears flicking forward. As the conversation between Mikemon and "GraceNovamon" progressed K started to pale. She didn't like the way this was going entirely. She'd sit back and stare blankly at the screen after mikemon paused the video. She wouldn't say anything for maybe about five minutes before she'd look down at her hands. A frown crossed her lips and she'd slowly shake her head.
".....So someone or something has to lose it's core for me to be stable. If whatever core you offered isn't enough."
She'd set her hands on the table; before letting out a small growl of irritation. It was quite plain she was bothered by the fact
"I can't. I Won't. What on earth could they even mean about Gestation? Breaking free of the loop because of me.. They talk strangely... What am I supposed to do?"
