Digging for Fossils! [Amelie/Elliot/Tetsu] [Career]

Ayumi was taken by surprise. Eeeeeh? Journalism? Statement? Is she gonna be in a newspaper??? Th-th-that's new! She blushed.
"E-e-e-eeeeeh, w-w-w-what kind of statement do you want? A-a-a-and sure you c-c-can take photos!"
She walks over to the fossils, still all red.
"I c-c-c-could tell you a b-b-b-bit about m-m-m-my theories, o-o-o-or potential reconstructions of their in-life looks! O-o-o-or I could tell you about how we got them out! O-o-o-or how we got here, o-o-or..."
Yup, she was definitely too nervous for her own good here. Solomon shook his head, and whispered to Amelie.
"Go easy on her, she appears to have stagefright."

Well, flattered was probably a little of an understatement when describing Ayumi's current state of mind. Amelie began thinking of the possible solutions to that problem, more or less agreeing with Solomon's words. How would she structure this...?

"First of all, I think you should calm down. After all, this is something optional." She told her friend, with a reassuring smile. No need to be scared! "Second, why not take it easy, for this time, or until you get used to it. First, let's take a picture of the digging team. Leader at the front, of course!"

She motioned the humans and digimons to pose wherever they wanted; maybe they'd do so next to the Velocidramon fossil? Or just amid the salty expanse? In any case, she'd take a couple of pictures after it, just to have some selection.

"Next, I think I should take some photos of the fossils." Said and done, Amy began to go through each of the discoveries, making sure to get each of those in close detail. That was the second step.

"A last... just tell me what you feel like saying about this; no need to give out a practice speech or anything of the sort; just how you feel regarding the fossils! I'm sure the mons will like it anyway! Oh, and if any of you." She added, referring to Solomon, Gryz and Tetsu. "Wants to say something too, feel free."

That would probably be all. If she wanted a more private interview with Ayumi, the brunette could probably catch her in a club meeting or something. For now, she hoped that the rest of the crew participating would help to make the girl feel less awkward.

"Whaat, it's a serious thing you know?" Tetsu drawled a bit "It's just a lil bit of fun Ayumi-nee, no need to be so nervous~"

Tetsu of course joined the rest, but not before Gryz taking out a tripod from the infini-store and a camera himself. "...Oh, right, I brought this for location surveying. Forgot that we have this. Would you like to use this instead, Amelie, lass? It's probably easier for you, but up to you. at the same time."

Either way, Gryz and Tetsu posed slightly to the edge, with the bear just plopping lazily on his butt with his perpetual zen face plastered and Tetsu simply aiming a fist forward in a pumped up gesture. That aside, though... on the interview section... Tetsu suddenly pat Ayumi's back. "What are you so nervous about? At this sort of time, there's nothing wrong in being a bit more proud about what you do!"

The boy grinned wider. "Remember, this is not simply because you found something, but you found a missing link. Can a Digimon fossilized? Why are they fossilized? These sort of thing could lead to various other theories. It's a big thing ya know? That's why..." he gently hold the older girl's hand and squeezed it reassuringly. "For today, just think how awesome you are. Face forward, chin up, take in a deep breath, and remember..." he pulled his own cheek "smile! Be proud, leader!"

Gryz just chuckled. "Well if you want any statement from us..." he looked at Tetsu.

"I'll just say that Ayumi-nee is amazing, her invention rocks, and it was her top notch instinct  that made this adventure possible. It was really fun, seriously! But I guess two of us gotta skedaddle now! I mean, we need to find quartz for our own project! Here hoping to get LOADS of it!"

"It was honestly very nice to meet you two. I hope we can go on an adventure together. Solomon, grow stronger. If you have complex about your form or whatever... you can call me, yeah? I too, after all, used to have complex about my form... Especially after I changed into virus type... Oh right, here's our D-Terminal Address. If you have any business with us or just want to catch up, just give us a call," Gryz offered a piece of name card like paper for both Ayumi and Amelie.

"So for now, Ciao!"

The boy and the bear ran toward the other direction, where they possibly set to gather quartz for whatever project they're talking about.

After so much praise, Yukiko was struck speechless, all she could do was wave at Gryz and Tetsu as they left. Luckily, Solomon could convey what Ayumi meant to say.
"Thank you two, for all your help, especially with the sudden Digimon attack. And thank you for all the praises. I hope we can meet again one day and go on another venture. For now, have safe travels."
Both Digimon and Tamer waved after them, then Ayumi called Usako to get a transport for the fossils.

Finally, Ayumi turned to Amelie.
"E-e-eh? Well, I guess if we want to do an exhibition we could always show them openly in that base that Usako is searching a proper spot for. W-we could advertise them and everything!"
She blushed again at the second bout of praise.
"E-e-eeeeh, it w-was nothing special, really, but I did enjoy venturing out! L-let's do it again some day! I gotta stay here until Usako comes with the transport, so have a nice travel!"
