Alright, yes! The cloned Shoutmon was down for the count, meaning now was the time...
"Shoutmon, digi- WATCH OUT!" Adrian yells, seeing the rolling clone Scolomon heading towards Shoutmon at full speed.
"Digi-what now?" Shoutmon asked, looking at his partner with a confused look. Sadly, this meant that Shoutmon got a face full of clone, and was knocked right into a wall. Severely damaged, he still got up, although now he looked pissed. That anger was even more prevalent when he saw the state Rinji was in.
"Alright, I've had ENOUGH of this!" Shoutmon yells as he begins to glow. "Forget restraints, I'm going all out! Shoutmon, warp Digivolve to... OmniShoutmon!"
Suddenly, the small red dragon was now replaced by a very tall, golden dragon-man. A very ANGRY looking one at that. For his move, he grabbed the clone Scolomon, and angrily throws him right into the Clone Delirium. "You hurt my allies, and there'll be hell to pay!"

After a while. Siftermon's body began to slowly retract and heal, its position becoming the same before trying to skewer the Scolomon. Truthfully, those had been some pretty intense seconds, and consciousness suddenly rushing back definitely felt like something a bit... dazing.
The panorama wasn't the best, however. Her senses brought dire information; Rinji had collapsed, and only two enemies were left, even though the other Scolomon wasn't in the best of shapes.
Instinct immediately kicking in, the aberration's first action was to stand between the remaining enemies and the Scolomon's unconscious body. It had detected the humongous increase in power level Shoutmon had displayed, and that would probably be more than enough to deal with any oncoming threat while Amelie made sure no harm would come to Rinji from any source.
This had been direr than expected, but, as far as she was aware, it would end soon.
Hopefully.

Even if the fallen Scolomon managed to get a heavy blow on the Shoutmon, the copied insect still couldn't endure the weight of the damage it had taken. Rather, the insect would find itself sprawled out, motionless as it finally came to a rest.
Similarly, the sudden shift in power from the OmniShoutmon caught the cloned Amelie off-guard. Though that Blaze Blast had managed to pierce through the normal Scolomon's shell, the sudden throw knocked Delirium right out of the sky, falling to the ground in a heap.
For a moment, all three opponents simply lied there, in silence. In the next, however, their appearance would once more shift, like TV static, vanishing away moments later like apparitions. Back in the center of the mirrored hall, the Mercurymon (X) would once more appear, holding a palm over that central mirror in her midsection. There, a wide crack had broken over the pane.
"Hm." The spirit's real voice echoed out once, the spirit taking a moment to open and clench her hands, as if testing the stability of her own form. "That trick always feels a bit paltry - but I see we've stepped up our game a bit? Even an ultimate?" Giving a chuckle, the Mercurymon stood, bracing both her shields to the front in a defensive posture.
"Programmed defense, final stage. The exit never closed, if you want to back out now."

With the events of the Rinji's evolution having only just occurred after the Mercurymon's transformation, the black centipede monster could only stare eerily forwards. In his peripherals were some other strange creatures, but the one holding his attention was in front of him. To him, the green humanoid was only making noise.
Like a wild tiger, the Mukademon was on a hair's trigger from attacking someone. Suddenly, with a movement of her shield, light glinted from it and shone into his eyes. The Mukademon swiped his head away from the offending glare and gave a screeching roar. The thinnest panes of glass in the room cracked. The largest shook defiantly.
That small trigger had ignited a spitting fire in the Mukademon. Suddenly, he appeared to see all the moving shapes and sliding forms of the reflective room. Inside of his maw, a glimmer of red light flickered. Then he widened his jaw to unleash the searing beam of laser light. The target: the offending shield.
The beam's light dyed the room red.
Rinji used Incinerate Laser on Mercurymon. Rinji is powered up on Primal Rage.

Finally... OmniShoutmon panted, still tired from the fighting before he had Digivolved. The clones have all been defeated... That's when the clones formed back into their original form, Mercurymon, who told the group that they could leave anytime they wanted.
"What's the point?" OmniShoutmon asked. "We've already come this far... why not see how much farther the rabbit hole goes, huh?" That's when both he and Adrian noticed something wrong with Rinji.
"Rinji?" Adrian asked. "Are you... are you okay?" Then, just out of nowhere, the Digivolved Mukademon roared a defining roar, causing Adrian to fall to his knees and OmniShoutmon to yell out in pain. Then he shot a huge red beam from his mouth, right at the Mercurymon!
"What the hell?" Adrian asked, scanning his new form. "Mukademon... Champion level... wait, Primal Rage? That must be why he's acting so freaky right now..."

Well, at least this made obvious that Rinji didn't need anyone protecting him, and given how he had attacked the Mercurymon without a second thought was enough to convey that he probably was in line for even more fighting.
And that meant that their struggle wasn't over yet. Whatever was the purpose of this guy, he had been the one to attack them first, even though the situation had been as strange as it comes thus far. No need to stop now, right?
In fact, if anything, this meant they had to muster an even greater effort in order to defeat this foe. Composing itself, Siftermon regarded its enemy for a couple of seconds before repeating the same attack for what felt like the thousandth time; a stream of flames raced towards the Mercurymon, right behind the Mukademon's electric shock.
Given his static position, the feeling that something was amiss didn't escape the digimon. Paying attention would pay off in a situation like this, hopefully.

It seemed the group was here to say - and the OmniShoutmon even had a quip about it, enough for the mirrored Digimon to let out a chuckle of her own. "Then by all means, run me down. I'm all that's standing between you and the central chamber of this place."
As a mere 'programmed defense', the Mercurymon definitely didn't have the survival instinct of a normal Digimon - but it was questionable that the insect let out his own attack, while the other two simply 'watched'. Either way, that laser streamed straight for the Mercurymon, striking the shield in her right hand in a brilliant red light...
... Before the blast vanished. That mirror remained a bright red, charged full of the Mukademon's energy. Rather than risk a response, the Mercurymon directed and aimed that same shield, right towards one of the several mirrored walls of the hall: True Reflection!
In that moment, that very same Incinerate Laser shot out, crashing right into the mirror wall - bouncing right off the reflective surface towards the surface, then down towards a crag in the floor, shooting off towards another wall, before finally moving to bounce and fly right towards the OmniShoutmon's right side! The Mercurymon gave a small laugh: "Sorry, these shields aren't the type that break so easily!" Log:
Mercurymon uses 'True Reflection'!

Like a red rag to a bull, the deflection further angered the centipede monster. Rinji lowered his head and let out a reverberating hiss at the confusing sights and sounds of the redirected beam. Despite this, he didn't appear to care at all whether the attack hit anyone else.
Or even whether his next one would. His tail end whipped dangerously behind him in anticipation as an invisible heat began flowing from him. A couple of red sparks zapped the air.
In a sudden explosion of power, the Mukademon's form erupted into massive arcs of electricity streaming all around him. It was a chaotic attack with no obvious target. The arcs streamed across the glassy surfaces, scorching them in some places and melting them in others.
In some cases, they even travelled towards his allies, melting glass in their wake. As the attack continued, the battle field began to turn from a pristine visage into a scorched and twisted mess. Yes, the centipede much preferred these darkened halls. He hissed again, flailing his tail into as many standing glass mirrors it could find, shattering them in the process.
He twisted his head, suddenly noticing his reflection in the ceiling of the room. For a few moments, he appeared to regard it with a crocodilian interest. Then, he raised his armoured head upwards, bashing it violently against the perceived threat. Glass shards rained down upon the battlefield, scattering harmlessly from off from his exoskeleton.
When the attack finally petered out, there was nary a reflective surface left.
Rinji used Volemic Ignition to, uh, destroy the battlefield.

"That shouldn't be a problem," OmniShoutmon says in a smug tone of voice before Rinji fired his Incinerate Laser at the Mercurymon... who then used True Reflection to absorb the laser, which then popped out of a mirror and hit OmniShoutmon in his right side!
"SON OF A BIYOMON, THAT HURT," OmniShoutmon screamed as he clutched his right side. "Hey! Buggo! How about you try hitting the ACTUAL ENEMY instead of your teammates!" That attack seriously hurt OmniShoutmon... it did not feel like a normal Champion level attack at all.
Of course, Rinji goes bonkers yet again and used another attack, this time arcs of lightning had shot out of his body, which hit not only OmniShoutmon, electrocuting him, but it also hit Adrian too, who was immediately knocked unconscious by the pain.
"ADRIAN!" OmniShoutmon cries as he hurries over to his fallen human partner. He hung his head down low in sorrow as the reflective surfaces around him had melted by the attack. But he didn't care. He was gonna pay.
They were both gonna pay.
Slowly getting up, OmniShoutmon would look at his opponents - although, if they were sane, it was obvious that this OmniShoutmon was not the same one spewing quips mere moments ago. This one was filled with anger... with hate...
With evil.
Then, all of a sudden, he'd dash towards Rinji, kicking him right in the face. He'd turn towards Mercurymon and dash towards her as well and attacking with a "Victorize Banking" attack.
(OmniShoutmon uses Victorize Banking - Charges at the target head on for an assault.)

This had become such a mess, and so quickly to boot.
The rampage of Rinji's evolution, which ended up deflected back at Shoutmon in the blink of an eye. The anger and fury displayed, and an obvious strike with lots of collateral damage ensued. Siftermon could feel its form subject to the pain of electrocution, even if the attack need been wild and unfocused, making the brunt of it easily avoidable.
What the digimon hadn't expected, however, was that, logically, Adrian had gotten injured in the face of such attack, given the frailness of human beings. And that had prompted a reaction from his partner; from a perfect level.
Crap.
How to proceed in a situation like this? In front of Siftermon, three a triangle of conflicts could be seen, allies being something tenuous at best and impossible at worst. Calming Rinji. Calming Shoutmon. And defeating Mercurymon; could the three of those be accomplished, reasonably?
Would she able to go that far? As the effect of the sigil began to wane, Amelie felt like a fish out of the water. She really didn't have any control whatsoever over the fight, did she?
Given that Shoutmon was now at melee range of Mercurymon, attacking him was impossible either, so... there was pretty much one thing to do at this point. With any luck, this wouldn't become even more of a mess.
In a quick gesture, she closed the gap separating the digimon from the fallen human, and proceeded to try and pick him up. At least that way, he wouldn't get caught in the collateral damage of future attacks.
Probably smart, considering that he was unconscious and defenseless at the moment.

How quickly a team fell apart.
Mukademon's unfocused attack, though widespread and damaging to the battlefield itself, did not do much to perturb the Mercurymon's position. Sure - like Rinji's allies, Adrian included, the powerful electrical burst radiated through the Mercurymon's metallic frame. As a mostly metallic Digimon, however, it easily traced through her body, exiting out her feet to be discharged against the floor. She let out an audible 'tsk', static dancing off of her mirrors. Yes, it hurt, but the damage was more focused on the battlefield than anything else.
"You're a nuisance - but not in the way that would be helpful for you all."
It would have been simple for the Mercurymon to focus on the weakest point right now: with Amelie's attention drawn towards Adrian, a wayward projectile would have been enough to force an action and have the spirit take the brunt of a heavy attack. However, the Spirit of Mirrors ignored that avenue entirely, keeping her focus entirely on the rushing OmniShoutmon before her. It was a headlong attack, momentum threatening to batter right through the spirit. Holding up both shields, in an apparent defensive posture, she kept a tense, nervous look in her eyes.
An expression that was entirely a lie: during that charge, the very mirrors themselves took on a 'liquid' texture, a torrent of molten metal bursting out from those shields, intent on coating right over the head and approaching arms of the Omnishoutmon:
"Blazing Mercury!"
Log:
Mercurymon uses 'Blazing Mercury', shifting the metallic substance within the shield into a metallic, hot-liquid form, for a short-range burst!

The battle was becoming more and more chaotic. What was the now digivolved Rinji had no inclination towards empathy for the fallen human. Neither did he feel any need to justify it. The destruction of the mirrors brought some abstract form of comfort to the monster, though this was interrupted by the surprise kick from the perfect-level OmniShoutmon.
His head was sent reeling backwards by the momentum, but the insect didn't waste a single second in surprise. Immediately he retaliated back with a reflexive and threatening hiss, though it was in vain. It seemed the OmniShoutmon was on a roll; now intent on attacking the mirror Digimon.
The last remaining mirror.
At this moment in time, the Mercurymon was focussed on OmniShoutmon. So in the dark recesses of the room, the Mukademon scurried with all the frightening and quiet quickness of a centipede. Scurried behind the Mercurymon. Abruptly, the centipede stopped, bristling with electricity.
Like before, it travelled through his carapace, threatening to arc dangerously. Instead, in a brief flash, it grounded to the ruined floor and sent a radial blast of expanding air. Alongside the ear-drum ripping noise, the attack was bolstered by something else.
Flying shards of glass.
Perhaps by a stroke of luck, Siftermon and Adrian were too far away to be affected by the close-range attack, and the angle of attack meant OmniShoutmon would, for his sake, be shielded by Mercurymon.
Rinji used Rolling Thunderwave, an attack that sends a shockwave of expanding air and debris at the opponent to either immobilise or prevent them from attacking that turn.

Why this situation had to be so chaotic?
Not even Amelie was very sure about that, but at least things had been calming down since that collective 'oh, crap' moment in where both Shoutmon and Mukademon had contributed. Now, what to do? She was still carrying a fragile human within Siftermon's tendrils, and chances of that prospect changing were... dicey, at best.
For a just reason, the brunette had the impression that this place would make a short work of him if she dared to do such a thing: in hindsight, it was frustrating how she always ended up being the caretaker on any important fights where she participated. Being a spirit user should mean for her to have more freedom, even if thus far that hadn't been the case... like at all.
Not moping about that would solve anything, however. Even if it was about keeping children safe or retrieving digivices, she still had to do things in order to help this fight to end in a victory. Funnily enough, one of her tendrils adopted the shape of a microphone before releasing an energy wave.
Shoutmon wasn't moving for now, and Rinji was behind the Mirrormon, so at least she was more or less sure of this one not causing any collateral damage. —Using Bellow Blaster on the mirrory boi.

Chaotic sounded about right.
With Mercurymon's attention in front of her, it was nigh-impossible for the OmniShoutmon to make his approach, his charge stymied out by the release of Blazing Mercury. Perhaps this was a blessing in disguise, though - it kept the ultimate far enough away from the central target, allowing even the crazed centipede to focus his efforts on that one remaining mirror. And the element of that attack?
Sound. From both Rinji and Siftermon came a heavy sonic blast, shaking fiercely through the spirit of metal. The sheer force of sound wrought by both adversaries, though not overly damaging, was enough to send vibrations deep through the metallic Digimon. She brought her hands up to her head, leveling out her helmet as best she could - but soon, the Mercurymon's expression soured.
She did what she could: she bent her knees, taking a defensive posture, ready to absorb whatever follow-up force of impact would be headed her way. But like this, she couldn't even move!
Log:
Mercurymon is immobilized by Amelie's and Rinji's combined efforts!

Assistance in stunning the Mercurymon from Siftermon was unexpected, but Rinji was in no state to look a gift horse in the mouth. Indeed, said gift horse was very likely to become his next target: memories of fear and aggression for the creature were bubbling up from his subconscious.
Yet now, the Digimon in front of him was incapacitated; what came next to the Mukademon only felt natural. Like a striking serpent, he leapt forward, attempting to pin the Mercurymon to the ground from behind with the serrated edges of his pincers. The maw behind them was partially open, just enough for the occasional bit of drool to fall to the floor. Something else was there too: a flicker of red.
The energy beam tore free from his own mouth. As it did so, the rest of his body writhed - as if attempting to counterbalance the release of such a close range attack. But still, he thrust his head harder into the floor's surface. The savagery, and perhaps animalistic stupidity, of the attack was evident: he was risking a fatal counter-attack by coming into such close range of an ultimate.
Still, there was potential it could pay off. And who knew what Stridermon would do?
Rinji used Volemic Ignition on Mercurymon.
