OmniShoutmon's rage was off the charts. He was mad at the Mercurymon for attacking the group, and he was extremely pissed off at Rinji for injuring his partner. However, he knew that there would be PLENTY of time for smacking Rinji later; right now, the Mercurymon was the true enemy. He would attempt to divert his rage to her, instead.
Thankfully, Rinji and Amelie had teamed up to do a special combo that had left Mercurymon immobilized for the time being. In fact, Rinji was powering up his own attack to fire at the immobile Mercurymon: Volemic Ignition.
This was too good of an opportunity to pass up; OmniShoutmon had to attack this thing now. Gathering all his energy, the golden warrior would begin to glow a similar golden energy.
"Omni Cooore..."
All that glowing energy would soon transfer to his arms, making them glow the brightest.
"FUSION!"
Then all of a sudden, OmniShoutmon would then shoot out an aura of energy shaped like himself at Mercurymon, with it roaring as it would hit the Mercurymon.
(OmniShoutmon uses Omni Core Fusion on Mercurymon)

Amelie wished her mind could conjure a solution in regards to what was happening around her; both Mukademon and Shoutmon seemed to be extremely angry, up to the point they were pretty much dogpiling the Mercurymon and not caring about the collateral damage the other would sustain regarding that. Meanwhile, she had been rendered as the babysitter of the kid who was currently unconscious after getting shocked.
Getting into the fray seemed like a reckless endeavor, and unlike the other two, she still had most of her mental capabilities intact, even though the amount of frustration she felt at the moment was, to say the least, a fair amount of frustration. Was there anything she could do to help in the fight while one of the digimon was engaged in the melee and the other tried to blast them? Not really, unless the way the group acted in a more coordinated way or she decided to... take a riskier action? None of those seemed like good ideas, honestly.
But... were they any better than inaction? She really... wasn't sure.

Tch... at this rate...
'Success' was, arguably, not high on this projection's list of priorities. By her own estimate, the Mercurymon had managed to stall for time long enough - and so long as something too threatening didn't make it towards the center, perhaps this could be talked out in the end.
That, however, did not seem to be a possibility with Rinji in the picture. Half-hunched over, the Mercurymon looked on as that devilish insect moved closer, intent on striking the metal spirit down from close range. Feeling the weight of the pincers against her shoulders, the beast winced - and raised her arms out to a 'T-Pose'.
The mirrors aimed straight back towards the insect.
"BLAZING MERCURY!"
The counter was swift - right as that laser would radiate through her back, and that blast would approach from the front, the blazing metal would surge back - intent on engulfing the insect's upper half in a mass of blazing metal. Her intent was to remove, at the very least, the most chaotic Digimon from the equation, by drastically forcing down their form. But, struck from both sides, the spirit wouldn't maintain for long.
As the smoke faded, the Mercurymon took on the same staticky appearance as the clones before... and vanished on the spot. In the distance, on the far side of this 'mirror cavern', one of Sakkakumon's eyes would appear, the gate opening to a red hallway...

Victory! The mirror would be gone. It would be dark, it would be safe -
The Mukademon screeched in searing pain. At such close range, the liquid metal soaked itself over his head and down his body. Some of it even began to seep into the crevices of his armour, where it sizzled away at his flesh. To say the least: it hurt. But he wasn't about to let himself be taken down by this. No...
Sparks began to fly off the centipede's armour again. The mercury that was still dripping from his body began to boil - and sizzled right off his carapace. Yet something was wrong. He felt... woozy. Slowly, the centipede backed up, legs slipping on the floor as he went.
At long last, he collapsed.
Yet he didn't close his eyes. Instead, he watched Shoutmon and Siftermon warily. He was pitifully vulnerable in his exhausted state, but he could still bite if they came too close.

After a long while, Adrian began lifting his head. His brain was fuzzy; everything about him felt weird and slightly painful in a way. All he could remember was OmniShoutmon, Rinji and Amelie fighting off against a Mercurymon, Now what was going on...?
"Adrian!" An exhilarated OmniShoutmon cheers, kneeling down towards his Tamer. "Are you feeling alright? Can you stand up?"
"Yes, yes, I'm fine, Shoutmon," Adrian insists as he stands up, albeit a bit wobbly. He was about to ask what happened but then Rinji began to scream in pain. He was being covered in boiling liquid metal shot out from the Mercurymon, and he was even sparking too! Before long, Rinji couldn't take it... he collapsed.
"Rinji!" Adrian yells as he tries to approach him, but OmniShoutmon holds him back.
"Don't. He's the reason you got electrocuted. He doesn't deserve your sympathy."
"So you don't deserve sympathy because you used to be a vicious Digi-Terrorist?" Adrian argues back, quietly so that the others didn't hear. They didn't need to hear. "Come on, he's hurt..."

Well, wasn't this a bit... of a weird situation? Slowly, Adrian was regaining consciousness, which was both a relief, even though Amelie's senses panicked as soon as both Rinji's power diminished greatly and Shoutmon began to slowly back from the heat of the battle. She knew what was happening, her mind trying to dismiss the possibilities as she left Adrian safely in the ground below and rushed to her partner's side.
Overall, this fight had been a continuous show of recklessness, and while it was probably ending soon, her function for most of the fight had been to prevent a tragedy. And that seemed to be... quite likely, considering how the Mukademon was basically left alone in the face of a potentially lethal threat.
The good side was that, luckily, the Mirrormon had been defeated before that situation could escalate; mentally sighing in relief, the Siftermon approached slowly. With any luck, the centipede would calm down, slowly and... even if he didn't, Amy wanted her Rinji back. No matter the cost.
Gingerly, a lone tendril would extend on his direction, as if trying to establish a link between their minds. Withstanding the possible pain from a bite or him trashing around, she calmly began to speak. "It's okay, Rin-Rin. I'm here. There's no need to fight any more. We can exit this place now."
With any luck, he'd listen.

Compared to earlier, the situation was now left feeling relatively... empty. Even the formerly crazed centipede could recognise the change in atmosphere. Now, only broken shards and a dazed aftermath was left behind - including the strange glow of a new portal.
Likewise, he paid no attention to it. For whatever reason, it didn't interest him in the slightest. Instead, he was fixated on Siftermon, even growling as she came closer. He came within a hair's breadth of lashing out, when she touched him.
The Mukademon seized up. A... a voice? Yet more importantly was what came with it: meaning.
It's okay. He could calm down.
Rin-Rin. She meant him.
Amelie. He knew her.
She was his friend.
The growling ceased. "Amelie?" The word had been said both aloud and mentally, just in case. Afterwards, he looked about. It was a scene of destruction and injury. Immediately, pain creased his otherwise blank features. "I... I'm sorry." He didn't need to be told what happened. Or who'd done it.
"I remember." Rinji hung his head in shame. What could he say or do to excuse such behaviour?
What scared him even more was how much control he'd lost. "Never again," he said.
He would never lose control like that again. No one else could get hurt.
His mind was in turmoil. Everything he stood for had been broken. By himself. Only chance could claim responsibility for keeping Amelie safe throughout the whole ordeal; the same couldn't be said for Adrian. And as much as Rinji wanted to sink into the ground and never wake up again, he had to keep going.
Apologise. Help out. Take responsibility.
Which... he realised a few moments later, would have to be done as is. Because...
"I... I can't..." Seconds passed as he searched for the word. "Revert? De-digivolve."
But it seemed their adventure still wasn't over yet. Would he really have to continue in this form? Which if he had any say in the matter, would be one he'd never touch again - let alone choose to remain as.
