"Listen, there's no amount of hurt some cat-girl can inflict upon me that hasn't already been done, I'll help you." Little did anyone know that there was in fact a lot of hurt that could come from this. Titania looked worried, before she glanced to Bean. Specifically towards the court house. Building with a clock face...
Okay. Naoko nodded at the little guy. "Abigail Williams...Alright. Yeah. I'm ready for some espionage. Haven't played Metal Gear in a while, though...So. I'm guessing we're gonna move out whenever you're ready, Bean?"
Titania stretched her arms as she peered around. "...Are we to be the muscle here or just protect our humans?"

Bean tapped his chin.
"Oh, you and youw giwwfwiend wiww stay out hewe with me! Wike I said, the secuwity measuwes awe made with Digimon intewlopews in mind! But you and I wiww stay close by the doow!"
He turned back to the two humans. He gave Nao a golden ring, and Yuki a little gem heart.
"That wing awwows you to stay in contact with me! If you get into twoubwe, I and youw pawtnews wiww come and wescue you! And to make suwe nothing bad happens while you wait, that heawt is a concentwated Ocean Of Love that wiww pacify whoevew it hits!
Do you two have any questions befowe we go?"

"Keeping watch..." Titania murmured. "I see." The Shutumon replied, watching as Bean gave the humans the tools they'd probably find incredibly useful for the task at hand. The ring was a phone. The heart? Well, it's a heart. The heart's like home, it calms you down. That made sense. "...Do you have any idea where the easiest path to the courtroom records might be? And what sort of guards should we expect?"
Might as well get the first two most obvious questions out of the way. "...Other than that, I don't really have anything to ask. Yuki, what about you?"

Bean nodded at Nao. He focussed, and brought forth a holographic floor plan from the heart on his chest.
"Down here, this is whew you go in! And up hewe-"
He pointed at a glowing dot.
"- this is whewe the couwt wecowds awe! The fastest way wouwd be..."
He ran his stubby little arm along a few hallways. The two girls would need to sneak through three hallways, turning right and left and then right again.
"This! As fow guawds? Weww, the hawws awe patwowwed by Wookie and Champion wevew Vaccine Digimon! But, as most expect thewe to be Digimon intewwopews, they use speciaw amuwets that Wisa made which weads the Digital signatuwe of Digimon! They wely more on those than theiw eyes! If you keep youw wits about you, you should be awwight!"
Bean smiled wide.
"Do you have a question, Miss Yuki?"
"Ah, uh, n-n-n-o..."
"Then wet's go!~"
The MarineAngemon floated on ahead. Mizu pulled on Yuki's leg, wiping a tear from her eye.
"You've gotten so brave. I am so proud of you.~"
Yuki just blushed as they walked towards the Courthouse.

Right. Left. Right again. Down some hallways. That seemed simple enough on a map, but reality was a far different story for Naoko. She took a deep breath. "Right, if that settles it, we should probably get ourselves going, okay?" She seemed tired already but she had to press onwards.
Plus, this shouldn't be all too hard if the guards actually -do- rely more on tools than their own two hands...Naoko and Titania followed Bean and their friends, the former nodding at Yuki. "...You really are brave. Braver than I am, at least."
At least she could call that bravery. For her, being here was probably a bad idea.

Soon, the small party stood before the grand court house. Built in an old-fashioned western style, the clock tower rose high above Luminas' skyline. Bean led them away from the busy front steps, towards a more inconspicuous side entrance down the alley. The kind of entrance used by staff to get in without being bothered by the mob or the press. Once they stood before the door, Bean reached into the heart on his chest, and pulled out a key, unlocking the door and opening it into a rather utilitarian tiled hallway.
"Thewe! This is whewe you go in! Remembew to keep in contact! I don't want you to get huwt because you awe hewping me!"
He hugged both humans in gratitude once more, then waved them in, making sure that no one was looking. Then he turned to the two Digimon.
"And we three shall keep watch out here, eh?"

This was comparatively...more normal compared to the rest of the shining city that was Luminas. Naoko simply made haste, following Yuki and Bean to the building through the alleyway. The hallway itself seemed...off to her. Seriously, this was utilitarian compared to everything else she had seen so far.
"...I trust you'll be safe." Naoko told Bean, looking up to Titania, who offered a nod in return. "...He's in good hands. You two get going and do some espionage. You're Venomous Rabbit and Yuki's Solid...uh..." The fae leaned in close to Mizu and whispered 'help'. "Anyways we'll keep watch." The fae concluded, and Naoko nodded. "We won't, p-promise. And we'll keep you posted."

Mizu giggled and poked Yuki's leg.
"Yuki can be Solid Abs!"
The young woman blushed.
"H-h-h-hey!"
"Huhuhuhu, naaah, you're Solid Orca! Smart, strong, dark-skinned, sympathetic, but really dangerous!~"
Yuki turned away.
"Uuuuuh, l-l-l-let's just get this over with..."
"Take care! I'll be there in a flash if you're in trouble!"
With that, the girl entered the hallway. Bean looked after them. Then he turned to the other Digimon.
"Okay, we need to watch out for them. Sure, the people in there trusts their instruments more than their eyes, but if they get caught they'll be in -deep- trouble. I don't want that to happen to them, not after they agreed to help! So if things go awry, we storm in on my command, alright?"
Once inside, Yuki snuck towards the first corner, and waited for Naoko to catch up.

"Orca, yeah! Like that...guy in Dot Hack. That got side-...Nevermind. You two be safe, okay?" Titania smiled at Yuki and Naoko, but alas...She was wearing a mask in this form. Nobody could really make it out unless they looked at her eyes. Naoko gave a deadpan stare and a huff.
She followed Yukiko into the hallway, which left Titania and Mizu with Bean. The fae nodded. "Yeah, they still have their eyes and whatnot...I'm willing to storm in whenever, so just say the word. Also. Quick question...Why'd you drop the 'h-hewwo' voice? Was that all an act?"
Once Naoko caught up, she peered around the hallway and looked to Yukiko before she whispered. "...Any idea what's around the corner?"

Bean chuckled adorably.
"In a way, yes. But not a malicious one. I have found that making use of my natural cuteness makes people lower their guard, and show me their true side. I did it to see if your Tamers are as good people as I assumed they were. Plus...it keeps me below notice of...certain individuals, like Lisa.
I needed humans of a good, pure heart to help me. They are the only ones who have a chance to get Abigail's court records...needless to say, you two, I am making sure your tamers return safe and sound. I would not be able to bear with the thought of being responsible if they get hurt."
The MarineAngemon seemed very sincere. A piece of the heart in his chest was missing, even...meaning the heart he had given to the two came from there.
"Solid Orca" looked around the corner. A white PawnChessmon stood at the corner in the distance, looking at a gadget in its hands.
"Down the hall...some robot...they're looking at a gadget...that might be the aura reader..."

"I see. With how that individual was, I'd empathize completely with keeping below her radar...Are politics here really that cutthroat? Like...are those rumors valid?" Titania found herself asking. "...I'd rather not allow Naoko to be hurt. She's already got a lot to deal with either way..."
To say that the fae didn't believe Bean would be a heinous lie. She did believe the MarineAngemon, even without taking the missing heart into account...
'Venomous Rabbit' gave her own look around the corner to confirm the sight. "...A PawnChessmon. Titania thinks they're just puppets of a queen." She whispered. "...We could wait for him to move away or try baiting it to go somewhere else..." Naoko suggested.

"Yeah, are things this bad up here? I thought it'd be paradise up here!"
Mizu waddled from one side to the other, now rather worried, herself. Bean chuckled, as bitterly as his adorable voice could muster.
"You know cavities? Too much sugar, and things begin to rot from the inside out? It's a good metaphor for Luminas. There is so much potential for good here, but it only takes one malicious element to skillfully push the right buttons to make things work their way. Lisa is wise, and quite good at exploiting the inherit weaknesses in others to make them dance to her drum. I was willing to work against her subtly and slowly, but ever since she had Abigail persecuted I was forced towards drastic measures."
Yuki observed the White PawnChessmon. It remained at the corner for a while, then walked down the left hallway. Just the way they needed to go.
"They moved...but that is the hallway we need to enter. We can either wait at the corner and hope they move in deeper, or we distract them. Do you have an idea, Naoko?"

"Ah. So it's rotten from the inside out. Like some sort of gilded ca-...Oh my Homeostasis this place is just like a gilded cage with a Hawkmon in it." Noticing Mizu's worry, Titania leaned over to pat her on the head with a steel claw. "...Hey, relax. We'll get your ring and help make this place a little better in the process. Promise."
The fae then turned to Bean. "...So, who's Abigail? And drastic measures meaning this?"
Naoko nodded at Yuki. "I vote we distract them. I don't know how smart these guys are, but given they have Pawn in the name...Probably not very. Should be easy."

Mizu gave Titania a big smile.
"Thanks! If you're optimistic, then I feel better!~"
Still, she seemed uneasy. Understandable. Her beloved partner -was- sneaking into a court house of all things.
Bean put his arms behind his back, and looked up at the clock.
"Abigail is my most cherished colleague, my assistant and sister in arms. We both are working towards a better Luminas, a Luminas that remembers it's good heart. She is also Lisa's sister, which is one reason why Lisa is trying to get rid of her. She poses a much more evident threat than I do, due to my low profile...if something happened to her because of that I would never be able to forgive myself...
...ah! Yes! Drastic measures like these! I would normally never ask humans for help, the danger of them getting hurt is too big otherwise!...but with Lisa's security measures, they are the best shot at getting the court records."
Yukiko nodded.
"Distraction it is. How would you suggest we do that? Noise distraction? We could try and throw something into an open door down that hallway. If the pawn is as stupid as you think it is we could lock it in there."

"Meicoomon sisters? I...don't intend to sound racist, but if that's the case then no wonder Lisa's...well, Lisa. I'm willing to take your word on Abigail, though...I do think that your goal's admirable in nature, despite it requiring -a great- deal of work to achieve. You're a good bean, Bean."
"Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. Though, I dunno what exactly we could throw that'd be able to distract that tin can enough to get him into that room." ...Though...
Naoko reached into her pocket and pulled out a few spare yen. "Maybe some loose change would work. Or a rock or...Hm..." This was a practice that needed thought put into it. Thoughts and care.
