The new room was certainly busy! In between Anzu being hopelessly trapped under the shield, Elsie and Sasha trying to lift said shield, Katherine examining the statues, and Akemi... deciding to give her girlfriend some affection, there were a fair bit of events transpiring. How did those all go? First off, the blondes' effort at lifting the object that obstructed Anzu's way to freedom. Funny how those two had been the ones to try to help her the most were the humans... less related to her, in a sense; quite the blow to the bean's self-esteem, probably! As if being called fat weren't enough... What happened not a second after they touched the item was similar, yet carried some very distinct differences. In short, the two were immediately pushed away from the shield. Sasha was blown back some good five or so meters by a concussive gust of wind, while a sudden conflagration at point-blank range had the exact same effect on Elsie, even if she was pushed away in the opposite direction. Both were okay, but the younger blonde had definitely gotten the rougher deal out of the two, given that explosion had been violent enough to leave some minor bruises on her body. Not to say that, on that brief moment where she had tried to touch the shield, she had felt a flash of anger coming from the morningstar. It seemed like somebody wasn't happy about that decision! And it wasn't Evie, for a change. And now, onto Katherine. It seemed like the statues had small plaques at their foot, and while they all carried the same expectant expression, once an individual sister was approached, she'd extend her arms, almost as if waiting for something to be given to them. Furthermore, their names would be highlighted on a small and otherwise unassuming plaque that was directly beneath them. From left to right: Alyssa Braelyn Callia Deanne Plus and inscription below the aforementioned. Present Armament Yet, when turning away from them, the plaque above them group would shift, its words swirling little by little. Only the worthy may properly wield one of the armaments. Rejection is the only alternative.

Was that what she was doing in that haze that was her memories? Akemi thought for a few moments. "It...would explain why I feel so winded." Was that the correct term to use here? Let's just say it was. "Try not to put too much weight on that foot, then." Meanwhile, with Anzu? The literal moment that her friends got slapped away?
"Thanks for the help, my BELOVED tamer! You ASSHOLE! BITCH! HAT-WEARING SKANK!" Someone was not happy that Akemi didn't help free her from her shield-shaped prison. How rude of her! The rotund and irate bean glared up to Elsie. "I haven't seen her at all, so...that's actually a cause for concern."
Meanwhile, Akemi was busy just clinging to Kath while Anzu yelled at her. So, when she finally loosened up from that impromptu hug? "N-No..." She admitted. "...A voice told you about them? What specifically did she say, if you can remember? I-I realize I'm asking a lot, but if you were told about them, there's got to be something to distinguish who's in which armament...Wait. Do we even have enough for all four?"
The bow, the morning star, the shield...What was the fourth?

For Katherine, it was rather obvious what should be done about the giant shield crushing the Tsukaimon.
“Anzu, try to lift the shield yourself, please.” She asked, her green eyes fixed on the piece of armament. “I think it recognizes you as its master.” Hopefully, that’s the solution to finally get her out of there!
Other than that, the only thing Katherine would issue next was a very audible squeak, as she saw the statues freaking move. She took a little leap backward when the first did, and then she was kind of prepared for the rest to do the same.
What Akemi put on the table was a real issue. There was a fourth weapon they were missing. Or at least they were missing the fact they had it. The amount of different and very tiring events that had occurred since their arrival definitely was not helping her remember.
“It’s clear to me the sisters want to be handed a weapon. Before giving those to them, trying to discover where is the fourth would be necessary.” The Spaniard lifted her head again, looking at the plaque in the ceiling. Maybe the riddle itself could give them a hint?
Slowly, Katherine tried to place together all of the pieces of info the girls had provided, gluing them together with the riddle on top.
“If I had to guess…” Her green eyes shifted towards Sasha. “Mrs. Robinson said she felt the urge to run, to get far away, as soon as she took the bow. That would be Alyssa.” Now she glared at the statue. “She runs, but is never weary.”
Now, her eyes drifted towards the shield. “I can only relate that shield to Callia, speaking about drinking but never being thirsty. That is kind of what a shield does, isn't it? It protects, drinking battle, but it does not thrive for them. Other than that, considering it’s the one we found most recently, we do not know much about it.” Maybe they would after knowing how its owner felt upon touching it.
Her eyes went to Elsie, next. Before saying anything else, she looked at the red-eye, walked closer to her and just… told her how she felt. “I’m worried about Jazz, too. She and Evie are the only ones not here at the moment. I can’t tell you I have seen either, but…” Was she really saying all of this? “… that’s precisely why we need to do our best here. It doesn’t seem like we’re going anywhere unless we solve this.” All of this was almost whispered, mainly for the blonde to hear it. Then 'Curls' went on with her deductions.
“I would say Braelyn could be the sister inside the Morningstar, maybe based on its hunger for destruction?” Now, she turned to face the group again. “Besides, judging how the shield just reacted and what that sister told Elsie, these weapons chose you. It means they find something of their personalities in you.” Katherine did not want to say it, but she felt that, figuratively, if there was someone who ate and was never full… that was Elsie.
“That leaves us with the fourth, Deanne.” Those green irises moved towards the statue. “She sings a song that never ends.” Now, to Akemi. “When you were that… thing, it looked like you had been guarding that place for years. Maybe that’s what ‘singing a song that never ends’ means?” She let out a sigh. “I still can’t figure out what’s the fourth weapon, but I think it must be related to you transforming into that thing. In any case, I don't feel the weapons would want to be separated from who they chose, so either Akemi or I should check our clothing, to see if we have an item we have collected in the way here.” Immediately, she did just that. Did Akemi have something on her that could be the weapon?
Who knew, maybe further clues would come as soon as Anzu tried to lift that shield. If the Tsukaimon failed to do it, Katherine would walk forward and try to lift it herself. One of those things had to work, right?
In any case, Katherine Jasso had provided all of the help her brain allowed her to, at least for now.

There was a large portion of Elsie that felt regret in the moments following their attempt at lifting a shield off a bean. "What th--" There really wasn't a chance to finish the sentence, as she was blasted back from the defensive device, and landed flat on her back. Time for a new sentence, instead! "I freakin' hate this place." For good reason! Letting out a groan and a wheeze, she sat up and examined her clothes to make sure nothing had ignited. Once she established she was fully alive, and her own weapon was apparently capable of feeling agitated, she stood up and dusted herself off.
While others might have reacted to moving statues, Elsie was busy using her free hand to poke the handle of the morningstar. Feeling things via weapons were weird. Was it weirder than moving statues? Hard to say. Maybe Elsie was just very selective about what types of things she'd react to.
One of those things, very obviously, being her sister. While she would have to agree with Anzu's assessment, it seemed that the missing pig hadn't occurred to her until this very second. "I'm sure they're fine," she replied, initially sounding confident, only for it to waver half a second later, "...right?" Ideally, the two were together and they had each other's backs.
Logically, they weren't. But, who really knew? Everyone else had managed to find each other! Still, she'd listen to Katherine's explanation of logic, only piping in at the end, "maybe she's a bard. Anyone good at makin' up songs?" Pause. "Preferably someone who won't catch on fire if they try to?" Hopefully the morningstar would find it a joke. Otherwise, she may need to be concerned.
"Or someone's gotta start singing that whole 'This is the song that never ends' thing and hope for the best." Was that a joke? Elsie wasn't even sure. But, she could easily assume that the song wasn't going to help them progress at all! Hopefully Katherine's statements could help a smarter member of the group figure out how to continue on!

In the end it seemed only Elsie was willing to help her lift the shield off the bean. Not that she minded, as the two of them should probably be enough to do so without any problem...or at least she thought seconds before she too was sent flying back by the gust of wind, landing on his back with a grunt.
"Same here..." She would painfully agree with the twin's comment, sitting up as she rubbed her back. Getting thrown around and stabbed was really starting to get old, she'd even glare at the bow and mouth off one or two things under her breath, probably foul in nature but too low for anyone else but her to hear them.
At any rate, it seemed as they had a riddle of sorts in front of them, one that the spaniard already seemed quick to be trying to solve. And frankly? Kath's logic seemed solid, and her guesses as to who each weapon belonged to felt pretty accurate. As for Sasha, the quicker she could get rid of that stupid bow the better. Having that much firepower wasn't worth the near panic attack inducing effects of the weapon. That said, once the elephant in the room was adressed she too would pause. Where were Evie and Jazz even? She didn't know of course, and nobody else seemed to know the answer. Unfortunately...there wasn't much they could do about it, was there? Just push forward and hope for the best. And not let that get to them, of course!
"I know they're both fine." She said, trying to sound reassuring for Elsie and Kath, her eyes shifting to the massive set of door next to the statues. "Who knows, for all we know they're waiting on the other side of this door. This place is bonkers enough for that."
That said, that still left the issue of the last weapon and its wielder. "A song that never ends", was Kath in the right to assume that was a clue of sort?
"Well, maybe each weapon only reacts to it's current wielder? So if anything, you two should be the ones to start singing." Was she agreeing with Elsie's (possibly joking) idea? Perhaps, but if she was right, there wasn't much they could do, that was something Akemi or Katherine had to figure out.

This puzzle was starting to frustrate Akemi and Anzu alike. Though, it was worth pointing out that for the former, it was a light frustration. For the latter? It was far, far heavier than that. While Akemi checked her own clothes for anything that might serve as pertinent towards solving this arduous burden of a puzzle, Anzu decided to try lifting the shield herself by shuffling around under it and making a valiant, beany attempt to free her rotund and purple frame from this contemptuous metal prison. Or whatever the shield was made of, really.
It was likely that the shield was Anzu's problem to deal with, really. Only the worthy may wield the weapons, and as it stood, Anzu was the one person who hadn't been blown away by the shield. So, it was probably a no-brainer from here. Meanwhile...What did Akemi find? If anything?
If Anzu failed to lift the shield, then Akemi would give it a shot.

Indeed this whole situation was frustrating to say the very least. It felt like the solution was right there in front of them, but they just didn't seem to be able to find it regardless. They were practically walking in circles just trying to find what every writing actually meant and just...where was the last "armament". To be honest, Sasha would have just as well tried to blow a wall open by now, but she knew well that would probably be impossible. They had to play by this place's rules.
"...screw it." The russian huffed, stomping her way to the statue of "Alyssa", the grip on her bow tight enough that it would have probably snapped in two had it been made of any lesser material. "If nothing happens at least I'll solve my part of the puzzle." Having said that? she would then extend her arm to the statue and, provided nobody stopped her she'd simply hand over the bow into it's hands. Hopefully that would at least show they were in the right track, or even the wrong one, but she wanted to see something, anything happen at this point.
"Also Kemi, maybe see if maybe you can make the bean digivolve or something? Worthy or not I doubt she can move it on her own like that." She added, glancing at her nice hat wearing companion.

A string of events had been put in motion by Sasha was an undoubtedly reckless, yet subtly brilliant action. So, what happened exactly? Naturally, when the blonde approached Alyssa's statue, she extended her arms, and everything looked like she'd receive the bow, until the artifact made contact with her hands. Just like when she had tried to lift the shield, a massive shockwave ensued, sending both the bow and her person flying backward. Quite strong, but luckily not violent enough to smash her into the opposite wall. Probably not quite what she had expected, yet an act that would provide the team with an invaluable clue regarding the puzzle? What was it? Well; if everyone gazed upwards, they'd see that the message in the ceiling's plaque was quite different. Unworthy Wielder 1/3 failed attempts Considering how much of a brat the bow itself had been to Sasha, the realization probably wouldn't be surprising. However... that meant that at least two items in the room weren't in the hands of their true wielders. Who could they be?

Oh, god.
It seemed like Katherine wasn’t done thinking her brains out for the day. Luckily, at least now she had some additional input. What was clear was that, whatever they did next, they had to be careful, because they couldn’t blow out their attempts so easily.
Taking her hand to her chin, Kathrine began to analyze the scenario. “Whether the bow corresponds to Alyssa or not… I feel that’s not important right now. The problem seems to be the person who offered the bow to her.” And that was a fact. “Now I can conclude the bow doesn’t below to Mrs. Robinson, that much I’m sure of by now.” Finally! Some things she could actually conclude and have a high amount of certainty about.
“That being said, let’s go back to finding out who’s the worthy wielder of each armament.” She was even speaking like that puzzle in the roof now! What a nerd. Katherine turned her head towards Sasha. “Mrs. Robinson, can you put the bow on the ground, please? I think you’re not supposed to have that. Instead…” Now, she glared back at the shield on top of Anzu, then to the roof. “That thing says the worthy can only wield one of the armaments, right? Then, we still haven’t burned all of our cartridges about the shield… The owner might still be in this room.”
Now, green eyes shifted back to the shield, glancing at Sasha for a second before. “So… Can you try to lift the shield now that you’re not holding the bow? If it doesn’t work, Elsie should try the same, making sure that huge, hammer-thing is far enough from her.” Hopefully, the second choice would not be needed. This one should work!
Assuming Sasha was, in fact, the worthy wielder of that shield, and taking the safe assumption Elsie was the owner of the Morningstar until proved otherwise, a question remained: Who was the owner of the bow?
Well, she could do something to start ruling out candidates immediately. With a sigh, Katherine approximated the bow now on the ground, she crouched and tried to pick it up. Once she did, she would pay special attention to any feeling she had, upon touching it and handling it, assuming, of course, she could actually take it off the ground.
If she couldn’t… Then Akemi should try it immediately. And, as a third option, Anzu, if Sasha managed to release her from her confinement under the shield, once and for all. Once everyone had the weapon that belonged to them, they could begin to think which one can be given to which statue, and where the fourth armament was, at that.

Although she expected (or at least hoped) that her actions would produce some tangible results, she certainly wasn't expecting the bow and statue to send her flying back yet again. It was at least understandable that her reaction after regaining her breath was to throw his bow aside violently as soon as Katherine calmly told her to let it go, letting out a pained and utterly pissed huff.
"I fucking hate this place so much." She would have probably snapped the stupid wind bow in two by now, had she the means to do so. Then again considering it was probably their only way out it was probably a poor choice. Even if she had inadvertedly found a clue, she was just...fed up with this place. Playing with her mind, making her fight her friends. And now it had the gall to call her unworthy? As soon as they were out she'd be the first one to ask Amelie about nuking this place.
She would have been more than happy to just stay on the floor and wait for the rest to solve this for her...but alas, Kath's idea wasn't too far fetched. She'd rub her temples and sigh, trying to calm herself as she got back up.
"Fine, but if I get blown away again you owe me a beer or something..." she muttered, walking up to the bean once again before once again grabbing a hold of one of the sides and trying to pull it again. "Hang in there Anzu."

Yes, this place was indeed starting to frustrate just about everyone in one way or another, some more overtly than others, too. The stagnancy that the group was facing, crushing as it was, had been brought to what seemed to be an end however. Sasha putting her bow down and attempting to lift the shield, which was...actually successful meant that Anzu was FREE.
And stood up she did! "Thanks for the help, my BELOVED teammates." She sneered with every bit of ire that a single, rotund bean could ever hope to hold in her paws. Meanwhile, Akemi had actually ignored Anzu standing up, instead going over to the bow. With some amount of curiosity...Well, if Sasha had put it down, then obviously she should try picking it up, right?

Lo and behold. It seemed that finally, things were going in the group's way! Once Sasha had gotten rid of the bow, she could effortlessly lift the shield! The difference was noticeable that very instant; escapist urges weren't present in the slightest. Instead, the calming sound of crashing waves made itself present in Sasha's mind. They didn't have any harmful effect, even if they kinda helped her feel... angry and frustrated at the situation at hand. Invigorated and refreshed, in a sense! If that wasn't a good sign, probably nothing was. Now that the bow was abandoned, it came to either Katherine or Akemi to find out who was their true wielder. First came Katherine, even though she'd find herself... unable to reach the weapon. For some reason, each time she approached, a mysterious gust of wind pushed the bow away from her; almost like in a game of cat and mouse, except that Katherine couldn't ever hope to catch the item she sought. Akemi, however? If Katherine stopped pushing the weapon away, she would be able to approach it without a lot of issue. As expected by now, in her hands, the bow would behave remarkably well, at least if its previous interactions with Sasha were anything to go by. Who could have thought that the bow would search the very person who had tried to hurt moments ago? Definitely an ironic event. In any case, as soon as the three weapons had found their rightful holders, and seemingly without warning, a thunderbolt crashed directly into the center of the room, hopefully not hitting anyone in the process, yet not being overly damaging if anyone had the bad luck to be reached by it? Its caveat? Under the stones destroyed in the strange phenomena's wake, a sharp observer would notice a robust wand made out of some kind of dark, yet shiny wood. Apparently unscathed by the thunderbolt or the ravages of time, it just stood there. Its purpose? It wasn't hard to guess, and even if it was... The four armaments have been unsealed The Wind Bow The Fire Flail The Water Shield The Earth Wand Yup, that was the plaque at the ceiling, changing its inscription yet again. Now, the group had all the elements to solve the puzzle in front of them. Would they be able to before they ran out of attempts? That would determine whether this endeavor was a success or a failure. No pressure, by the way.

Finally, it seemed like things were moving in this rather docile room. Many events unfolded at once, and Katherine had –sort of- a reaction for each of them. First, she blinked, looking at Sasha as she walked towards the shield. “I can’t… buy alcohol.” She couldn’t! Or could she? She had never tried and was even unsure of the age she had to be to do so! Well… she probably could in the Digital World, it was just that maybe she shouldn’t. Luckily, Sasha did not get blown away, and she did not have to buy her anything! Seeing Sasha lift the item only made Katherine issue a nod. When Anzu, who seemed rather angry and sarcastic, was set free, Katherine just turned towards the bean. “You’re welcome.” She hissed. Why was she being included in her ironic rant!? She actually helped! Now, her slightly annoyed expression turned into a smile as soon as Akemi was able to lift the shield. “Gr- Eek!”THAT THUNDERBOLT SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF HER! Even if it did not manage to hurt her or anything. She covered her face with her forearm, before actually staring at the result of the crash. Issuing a sigh, the teenager already knew what this meant. “I guess this one must be mine, huh?” Slowly, she walked towards the staff. Although she was careful –always wary of what this place might have in store for them-, Katherine had somehow gained another boost for this last sprint. Why? Well… Maybe she was discovering the wonders of being needed. She was actually being helpful for this group. She was actually helping them get out of here. The teenager held the staff and stared at it for a second or two. Who would say, she had been the last one to get her weapon. And she had to get rid of it very soon. “I wonder what this does.” Trust me when I say Katherine had to fight real hard the urge to swing that and see if it performed some magic. Undying Curiosity had to be repressed in order to not complicate the mission further. Katherine held the wand and sat on the ground, taking around 3 full minutes to think. Although some of the ideas were already clear in her head, the mentioning of elements had made her change some of her initial assumptions. Once she was done, she opened those green eyes and threw her conclusions at an expectant team. Needless to say, the moment any of the actions performed next by her teammates or herself failed, Katherine would stop in her tracks immediately. “Alyssa, the first.” Her green eyes shifted towards the statues, the first from left to right, in this case. “She runs, yet is never weary.” Slowly, her eyes looked for the water shield, being held by Sasha. “The Water Shield.” Her index finger was lifted, pointing at the weapon. “Water runs. It moves through breaches and other spaces but… it is never slowed by the result of this exertion.” That being said… “The Water Shield belongs to Alyssa.”
Now… “Braelyn, the second.” This time, those green irises moved towards the next statue. “She eats, yet is never full.” This was one of the easiest ones, and she had almost come to it before elements were involved in the matter, even if not following the same train of thoughts. The teenager glanced at Elsie. “The Fire Flail.” Of course. “Fire eats everything it finds but it never willingly stops. It will eat as long as you let it eat. It is never full.” So… “The Fire Flail belongs to Braelyn.”
Up next… “Callia, the third.” Her eyes went to the figure to the right of the one she had just tackled. “Drinks yet is never thirsty.” Another easy one. This time, Katherine glanced at the wand she was holding herself before standing up and walking forward. “The Earth Wand. The earth absorbs the liquid you give to it, yet it does not actually need it. She is not thirsty, yet she drinks it all.” Assuming everyone had acted according to her deductions so far and no one had been pushed back, Katherine would extend the wand to Callia. “The Earth Wand belongs to Callia.”
So, that left us with only one! Katherine glanced at Akemi and her bow. “You know what to do now, right?” She smiled. “The wind is always blowing. It sings a song that never ends.” That, in her eyes? The fire of an avid researcher facing her findings. “So…… The Wind Bow belongs to Deanne.”
It was a bit ironic one of the girls who had been the most manipulated and harmed by this whole ordeal would put an end to this adventure for good. Even if Katherine was not sure if solving this puzzle would represent the end of this whole thing, she was sure it was an important step. “Get us out of here, Akemi.”
This was Katherine, the one who killed the tiger and was not afraid of its pelt.

It was clear for Sasha that they had made a good guess once she picked up the shield on her own and...managed to lift it with relative ease. Furthermore, upon holding onto the Water Shield the feeling that washed over (pun intended) the russian was oddly soothing yet invigorating. It didn't do much to dispel her generally annoyance and anger at this place, but she'd take what she could get.
As for the last weapon making it's startling entrance? Honestly, other than the small startled jump she made at the thundervolt, knowing they were starting to get on the right track trumped any need to burn this place down she might have felt a moment prior. At least for now! She hadn't completely discarded the idea of nuking this place later.
"Welp, so far so good. What's next Kath?" She'd ask, turning to the spaniard. SO far it had been her guesses that had gotten them so far (besides Sasha's lucky accidental guess a minute prior of course), she felt fairly comfortable letting all the thinking left up to Kath. Besides if things went South that meant she had someone else to blame! But hopefully it wouldn't come to that, and her trust wouldn't be squandered.
That said? Once Katherine had given out her instructions, Sasha would just give her a thumbs up while she made her way to the statue of Alyssa, and would carefully extend her arm so as to hand it its shield. "Here goes nothing I guess...please don't blow me away again..."

Hugging the flail in a strangely possessive manner, Elsie watched Sasha go for the shield. And, luckily, picked it up! Which was great, because the blonde really didn't want to think that the flail that was right next to her after teleporting wasn't meant for her! And, she really liked a weapon that involved just bluntly hitting things.
Granted, the weapon wasn't really hers when it came to the full truth. It was... Braelyn's, or whatever. Which, maybe it was someone else's. Who really knew for a fact, right now? But, the point was: it wasn't actually Elsie's.
Somehow, the twin was too absorbed in this thought pattern to even jump as the lightning struck. That staff had better not be a new test of "the first person who picked it up is the wrong person," because Elsie still didn't want to give up her current toy! At least, until she really had to. Which was pretty much immediately after Katherine had received her own.
What a shame. They didn't get to see the power of the staff! Or, what the shield could do, really.
Unable to see any flaw in Kath's logic for who actually owned each item, the teen gave a shrug and followed Sasha's lead. Moving toward Braelyn's statue, Elsie squinted a little in preparation for a less-than-ideal outcome, while placing the flail in the statue's hand.
If everyone was blown back this time, Katherine was so going to have to find a way to treat everyone to a beer! She didn't care if the girl wasn't legally able to buy it!
