At least initially, it seemed like no one would answer to Elsie's call. Had it been just the wind? Or maybe her imagination; such things weren't out of the realm of possibility in a place like this one, all things considered. However, the situation wasn't without its small silver lining. Slowly, but surely, it seemed like the otherwise unconscious individuals were returning to her senses. It was only a matter of a few minutes before either Akemi or Sasha (or both) woke up!
The question was whether they would be friends or foes. But that was something they could answer on their own!
It was a rather nice change, but Akemi finally felt like she was in control of herself and her own actions. Her recent past as the chamber's guardian was blurry and hazy, and she wasn't even sure if that past was a reality... or not.
Maybe the blonde that had been poking her moments ago would have the answers to those questions, if she bothered to ask them.
Sasha herself was probably faring a bit better, especially considering she hadn't been temporarily brainwashed by who knows what. As of now, her body was still feeling the lingering effects of that exhausting fight, but otherwise... she was more or less fine.
What was there, then? The faint light of the digivice wasn't nearly enough to illuminate whatever was ahead of them, but it seemed to be vaguely rectangular in shape, and it was probably at least seven to eight times bigger than Anzu herself. It stood there in perfect quietness, almost as if it didn't recognize the new visitors.
How was the duo meant to interact with it? Time to figure that one out.

Everything had been a blur for Akemi. She slowly, but surely began to stir and tried to sit up. Everything just...kind of felt like she had been through a marathon. Where was she? What had happened to her? Why did her head hurt so badly? "H-Hey..." She rubbed her eye and looked to the blonde that had been rudely poking her some moments ago.
"Who...Who're you? Where is this?" It seemed like they needed to get closer to figure out what this was. It was a large rectangle, so...It really could be anything, right? Anzu looked back to Katherine. "I'm well aware of my diminutive, chunky form, but do your best to stay behind me, mija."
...Why did Anzu know some Spanish? That was a bad nickname. "...No, but seriously, I...don't know what that is. And the only way we can find out is...going closer." With that, the Tsukaimon made a slow approach towards this vaguely rectangular thing.

She did not have to say it twice! After seeing what had happened with the rest of her teammates, Katherine was not going merely near anything she could see and study properly. "Y-Yes." She nodded. "I feel..." Wait, what did she call her!? "... m-mija!?" The Spaniard frowned, glaring at the Tsukaimon. Was she blushing a bit? "Don't call me like that." She blurted out. Ugh. Such an ugly nickname. How did even a digimon know that word?
Going back into more serious matters!
"Yes, maybe you should try touching it. But be careful, okay?" Katherine tried to look upwards and see the entirety of this thing for dear life but... it was just toodark. Katherine started walking around the surface they were standing on, slowly. Maybe she could find anything that would let her illuminate this thing? She really could not think of anything else. Of course, she did not move too far from Anzu, always being aware of where the Tsukaimon was. "Do you have any technique that can cast some light?" Very unlikely. "Or maybe you can just try, like... throwing a technique at whatever is there?"

It would take a good time for the russian to finally wake up from her forced slumber, but when she finally did she would be greeted by a rather rude awakening, a dizzying pain throbbing in her head with every heart beat, buzzing in her left ear and a very distinct voice shouting in her right.
"Oh gosh Sasha, you can finally hear me! I was so worried-"
"Sieg just...shut up for a sec..." She'd weakly mutter out, rubbing her temple with her palm. "...every sound is like nails on chalkboard right now."
She took a moment to look around her, the blurry shapes on the distance slowly taking the distinct form of...Elsie and Akemi? Confusion in her mind dissipating slowly as she remembered the last few moments just before fading. Something about a bow, and a hat wearing guardiang, and a lot of pain. Didn't they tried to kill eachother just a moment ago? And if so why? Perhaps Elsie could give her a rundown of what happened later! As of now however, she was more concerned trying to get back up. And failing miserably. Amelie would probably appreciate the irony of the situation if she saw her now.
"W-what...I'm not good enough to be poked awake...?" She said, glancing at the twin as she kept trying to get up.
"Kinky...I think."
"...is Akemi's knee alright?"

Surely, Elsie was just going crazy. Nothing reacted to her calling. Except, finally, when the two 'fighters' began to stir! First, Akemi's... inquiries needed to be addressed. A sour expression fell on the blonde's face, hearing them. "You better not have forgotten me after we've spent, like, half the day together." Was it half the day? What time was it, anyway? It felt like it was just dragging on, really! First, she had to fight a dinosaur. Then Akemi! And now... she was doing whatever they were supposed to be doing now!
She really hoped Evie was having just as eventful of a time. If her twin was just sitting on her butt, just like during the dinosaur fight, Elsie swore that she would scream.
"And I was really hopin' that you knew where we were." So much for Akemi being a fountain of knowledge. Good thing Sasha was awake. Maybe, she could get some sort of information from her, instead!
Hearing the other blonde, the spirit user gave a half-smile. "Only because you didn't stab me before passing out." While Elsie would normally expect Akemi to feel bad about trying to impale her, she suspected that the small girl wouldn't have any recollection about that. "Plus, you were further away." So many excuses!
Gesturing at Sasha, to gently try to direct her to stay on the ground, Elsie leaned over Akemi to try to get a look at her knee. "I don't see any blood or anything." Then, a more proper way to find out! "Are you hurt anywhere, Akemi?" Either way, Elsie decided to play a responsible role for once, giving a simple instruction that she hoped would be followed. "You should both just stay sitting -- or laying -- for a minute. You're gonna wear yourselves out. How long were you two trying to beat the crap out of each other before I got here?"
And, of course, another question. Because, Elsie was just full of them! It was almost like she had been lonely before getting a chance to escape her room of solitude! Head turned, to look at Sasha better, but she still seemed intent on following through with the request for everyone to take a breather. "Did you get hurt at all?"

It seemed like the group had caught a moment of respite, for a change! At least for the moment, Akemi, Elsie, and Sasha were able to overcome their temporary contingency and were all fully aware of who they were and why trying to kill their acquaintances was probably a very bad idea. In any case, they'd have some moments to get their bearings back, and maybe discuss the events that had just transpired. All of those were good things, right?
Sure, at least momentarily. What about Anzu and Katherine? Their current endeavor was a lot tenser than the aforementioned group's, even if not by much; the darkness that enveloped the room made things harder to discern, but at least there wasn't any sense of imminent danger coming, right?
Maybe that would be proven wrong as soon as Anzu's body touched the unknown object she strived to reach. As soon as she did, the small Tsukaimon would feel an immense pressure dragging her whole body down. The invisible weight would make her come crashing into the cold floor violently, even if probably not harshly enough to cause permanent damage on the rookie level.
The bad side? It seemed like Anzu wouldn't be able to get up, mostly because the invisible weight wasn't as invisible anymore. It seemed that, somehow, the object that she had tried to reach had fallen just atop of her, and was preventing her from moving at all. The object seemed to be way heavier than what it looked! Just as the sound of flowing water stopped, Akemi, Elsie, and Sasha would hear a deafening clang coming from the same direction, and loud enough to scare somebody not expecting it! What could have that been? And most importantly, would any of them do something regarding it?

Anzu nodded, given she could see in the dark she could at least try making out what the object had been as she went to try touching it. Something that proved to be a terrible mistake on her end. This did indeed just become quite tense as Anzu came crashing down into the floor with an audible squeak!
The weight atop her belonged to the very object she had tried to touch! "...K-Kaaath...I think it just tried to crush me..." She wheezed. Please help. Please. "...Oh. Um. Hi, Elsie." She didn't forget. Or, rather, she just remembered. Akemi looked to her knee, which seemed no worse for wear after what had transpired. Akemi got up and tried to help Sasha up before the CLANG resonated from...somewhere. "I...don't think I got hurt, but I feel like I got hit by a train...Plus, what the hell was that?" Akemi wanted to go investigate, but at the same time?
Why go alone when you have two other people to help you? "I don't know if we should stay here or keep moving...wherever the heck we are."

Judging by the natural movement Anzu displayed and her audible squeak, Katherine could more or less figure the bean had been crushed by something! Her first reaction? An audible gasp that made her take both hands to her mouth as an immediate reflex, worried about her friend. A bit desperate, she moved in the direction the voice was coming from, trying to decry what the hell had fallen on top of the Tsukaimon. Not that the lack of illumination would help or anything, honestly.
Ugh! What should she do? Anzu was being splatted by some kind of giant object and she was only a human!
Well, desperate times required desperate measures, right? Trying to measure up the dimensions of the object that was on top of the fat bat with wings, Katherine got all of her strength around her body concentrated in her leg.
"Get... off... from Anzu...!" Why was she talking to this thing? No, more like yelling. Did she have the sensation it was alive? Or maybe, just like the rest of the DLC, she could be starting to go crazy due to all of this mess.
In any case, time for those football classes to pay off, right? ... Not that she had ever taken football classes. If the dimensions of the object on top of Anzu allowed it, the human would... kick Anzu. Yes. To get her off from below that thing, she would kick her. With all of her strength. Of course, her foot would recoil immediately after the impact to avoid being trapped between whatever that thing was and the ground.
Once she had Oliver Atom'd her friend out of there, Katherine tried to pay attention to the sound of flowing water she had heard before, trying to look at the fountain again and determine why it was gone. Was whatever was up there making the fountain work? How had this unfortunate event affected the structure of the object? Again, she tried to look at what type of artifact had fallen on top of the little Anzu. The lack of a light source was a real problem here!
Maybe they were not as far from the rest of the group as they thought?

"If you want it so bad you just gotta ask, Elsie..." The russian quipped back...sarcastically? It was hard to tell, as it was clear from mild slur and sluggish moves she was still both quite dizzy and still with a splitting headache. Hell, she probably wasn't quite sure of the meaning behind any of the words she had just uttered.
At any rate she wasn't in any hurry for getting up, so she had no problem following the blonde's order to stay put and not get up just yet. "Realistically speaking? Probably just five minutes...sure fell like an eternity though." She'd reply to her question, not quite sure herself just how long the two had been trying to kill eachother, or why.
Maybe...taking a short nap would clear her head...
Or so she hoped, but she was soon and harshly snapped back to reality by a rather loud CLANG, which not only startled her enough to drive away any possible desire to nap...it also made her headache considerably worse. Much like Akemi she didn't know what that was but she was sure of one thing.
"If that's another armored Akemi I quit." She thought to herself as she rose back to her feet with the help of Akemi. "I vote we keep moving, I dont want to stay here for any longer."

There was a long stare at the Russian's latest... offer? While Elsie tried to process what, exactly, was even going through the other blonde's head. "I can't tell if you're hittin' on me, or threatening me," she uttered, before shaking her head. It was probably best not to take much of what Sasha or Akemi was saying to heart. They both seemed a little out of it. At least, at first!
But, the idea of keeping both girls down after hearing that clang was out the window. At least they were making sense now. That was a start. And, all things considered, it was probably better not to delay the inevitable now that both girls seemed capable of responding to Elsie's questions! Once she was sure Sasha and Akemi were stable on their feet -- or possibly, just on each other's feet -- and weren't going to try to murder one another again, she gave a sigh. "Yeah, we should probably move now," the teen agreed, after a second. Sitting around in one spot for too long was probably a bad plan, anyway. Not that Elsie was ever one for good plans.
"We should see where that sound's coming from," she suggested. Was that a good plan? Probably not, if it caused them to stumble into another fight scene. Especially considering Sasha didn't look like she was really ready for round two. But, that was why Elsie was here, right? Or, something optimistic like that! Either way, she'd keep close to the other two, and only take a few steps toward the source of the sound, before waiting to make sure there wouldn't be any disagreement with investigating.
It didn't feel like a smart move to risk getting split up.
"I still don't even get why you two were fighting." Or how Akemi was fighting at all, since she wasn't a spirit user! What was going on with all that armor before? There were so many questions about it, but probably zero answers. Elsie would probably never crack this mystery!

It seemed like the trio were on the move yet again! The path ahead seemed uncertain, but that had been this adventure's trademark the whole time, hadn't it? Unknowingly, however, it seemed like somebody had planted a clue on what the three humans would find forward, even if it wasn't really subtle. Yup, it was Katherine's yelling at something. Something that had Anzu in its clutches, no less; given its volume, it meant that Katherine's voice was either really loud, or that she was pretty near, with the latter being the more likely option; chances were that she was in the very next room! A good thing, if it weren't for the fact that the Spaniard sounded rather alarmed, and that the Tsukaimon's physical integrity could be compromised. Better to hurry! Katherine would, no doubt, feel a rather sharp, yet dull pain on her feet; even if her objective had been Anzu herself, it seemed like, somehow, she had managed to kick the object that was currently trapping her against the floor? And, all things considered...? It was pretty hard; if she didn't know better Katherine would think she had just kicked a building's support column. And just in time for lighting to finally illuminate the room, no less! As soon as both Sasha and Elsie had crossed the threshold that separated both chambers, the previous location where they had been fell into darkness, its lightning pretty much being transferred to the next room. So, what was there to see? A highly decorated chamber, even if not very different in general design from where the girls had been before. Occupying its entire middle section, there was a two-tiered fountain that seemed to have been pouring water until very recently, and not very far from it, both Katherine and Anzu were. What was the situation, then? Anzu was trapped under a silverish kite shield that was roughly the size of Akemi herself; at least in appearance, the thing seemed to be hopelessly heavy, considering that the small and fat Tsukaimon was struggling to escape its grasp. On the other hand, it seemed like Katherine had just tried to kick the thing away; not quite the brightest idea, right? Regarding other things of note, there was a gigantic set of double doors by the back wall. At the side of each door, there were two statues, easily as tall as the room itself; the four of them seemed to beckon the girls to approach, and in case they did, they'd notice two things. The first one was that the statues themselves were all human females, seemed to be fully dressed for war and were in a bit of an expectant pose; almost as if they were hoping to receive something. Further details would require to inspect each of them separately. The second? The plaque that loomed on the ceiling directly above them. Four sisters we are, reborn together in this mausoleum of empires. Alyssa, the first, runs yet is never weary. Braelyn, the second, eats yet is never full. Callia, the third, drinks yet is never thirsty. Deanne, the fourth, sings a song that never ends.

"Let me get back to you on that later, when my head isn't buzzing." Sasha told Elsie as they began making their way in the direction of that sound, her hands never letting go of that strange yet powerful bow. Wheter she meant it regarding her rather bizarre earlier response or to the fight between her Akemi was something not even Sasha seemed to be sure off. The russian's leisurely paced walk was quick to switch into a slightly more rapid one (though not enough to get separated from the other two) as she heard a familiar voice relatively close. It was Kath's, and by her tone of voice it seemed as if she (and apparently Anzu) seemed to be in trouble.
This would turn out to be the case as when they entered the new chamber Sasha's eyes were quick to focus not on the lavish architecture of the place, but rather the two team members in the middle of it, close to a fountain: Kath visibly struggling to get a large shield off of Anzu. "God damnit."
Without a moment's hesitation she had made her way to the two of them. As much as she would have liked to explore the room in more detail (if only to find a way to get out) getting the Tsukaimon free was their priority. "Stop that Kath, you're gonna break your foot before you move this thing." Was that her way of saying "glad to see you're okay"?
In any case she'd try to grab on to the side of the shield with her hands, the look on her eyes as she stared at the other girls making it clear she was waiting for them to help out, and even if they didn't she'd still try to lift the heavy looking shield, even if doing such a strenuous physical activity right now after just waking up was probably a bad call.

"...I legitimately can't remember." Akemi put her words on the whole 'how were you fighting?' matter out there in a single sentence. The girl could only remember pain and a haze and the sound of clashing steel. "Plus, she's totally hitting on you." That was the last thing she said before they moved on towards the new destination ahead of them.
What did they find? Why, a chamber with someone Akemi had been hoping was okay this whole time. Also, Anzu was there and trapped under a shield that...Kath seemed to have kicked? Regardless, she raced over to the Spaniard and moved in for a quick hug. "You're alive! Are you hurt? Why's Anzu under a shield?"
...She gave a quick look around, and a quick glance up. "...And is that riddle something we're supposed to solve? Because..." Akemi decided to actually take the time to read it. "I...don't know where to start with this."

Hearing Sasha’s voice was a relief for Katherine, for more than one reason. First of all, she was not alone with a bean being crunched by a shield anymore. Second of all, the Russian beauty was still alive! Of course, the gladness of having part of the group here and any other sensation that was not ‘OUCH I JUST KICKED A SHIELD’ would have to wait.
“A-Akemi.” She gladly received the hug from her friend, before her attention drifted back to Anzu and her problem.
After managing to go and help the other girls lift that shield above Anzu –while standing on one foot-, she finally took a seat on the floor and took her boot off, rubbing her toes. That thing was hard! While she tried to alleviate the pain around her right feet, her mouth wrinkled as she pondered about what just happened.
That was weird. She was absolutely sure that, even if she couldn’t see, she had aimed for Anzu, taking the necessary precautions to avoid hitting the object over her. Had that shield extended its surface to protect the Tsukaimon?
Interesting…
Now, she would be able to properly reciprocate Akemi’s happiness. It was great to have her around again. “I’m okay. My foot is not broken. But that hurt a lot.” She said, looking at her own extremity, then back at Akemi. Then, her eyes widened, upon remembering what she had seen. “Y-You… Are you okay?” She leaned forward, looking at Akemi from as close as she could from down there.
“You and Mrs. Robinson… were… fighting.” Her eyes shifted to glare at Sasha, then at Elsie. “Was all of that… real?” If it was, then Elsie had been key to achieve victory if the plan was to defeat Robo-Kemi. The green-eyed really hoped that battle did not have any negative effect on her friend, or she would feel really terrible.
In any case, it was time to get out of here.
Katherine stood up and, along with Akemi, walked closer to the four statues and the riddle. She glanced at each of them from distance, and then read the words on the ceiling.
After everyone had chipped in with their own thoughts on the matter, Katherine made her own contribution. “Although Anzu and I were watching some of you for a while, it would be useful if we all shared what we have seen or found out since we split. Maybe the answer to this can be reached through a combination of all of the information we have.”
Then, Katherine went on to tell her and Anzu’s experience so far. How she and the Tsukaimon (then Sangloupmon) were watching everything from some type of control room while she was immobilized, the commands the console showed them and their departure from that chamber.
While she listened to the rest of the stories, the curly-haired girl went close to each of the statues, in order to examine them from up close. Doing that was probably important.

Well, at least Akemi was there to provide clarity. To both subjects! While the 'clarity' on the first subject was actually extremely 'hazy' and not at all helpful, at least it gave Elsie enough of an idea to establish that the two probably weren't fighting out of legitimate anger with one another. Not that either of them really seemed the type to fight like that, normally! But, she had only met Akemi once before, and Sasha just today. There was no way the blonde would have a decent read on their personalities yet!
"I believe it," the twin commented, giving a bobbing nod of her head. Which part? That Akemi didn't remember? Or that Sasha was hitting on her? The simple answer? Yes.
It was probably a good thing that she had let the other two girls continue on their exploration, considering what was soon to come. Yelling? While she wanted to run to the room, the teen decided to match pace with Sasha and Akemi, to avoid anything happening to them in the case that she went too far ahead. But, once reaching the location of the sounds, it seemed that the only danger was a shield on a bean.
That was sort of a relief. Probably not for Anzu (or for Katherine's foot), but everyone else involved was okay! While Akemi went in for affection a hug with the other tamer, Elsie went to help the spirit user who was trying to save a certain Tsukaimon. "How'd you get under this thing to begin with?" Elsie uttered, attempting to assist in Sasha's lifting of the item.
And, once that had either succeeded or failed, she would turn her attention to what everyone else was (probably) looking at! First, of course, acknowledging the Spaniard's question. "Yeah. It was pretty real, alright," the red-eyed girl stated, sounding unenthused. The stabbing and searing of flesh certainly felt real, too! Before she had a chance to ask how Katherine knew about the fight, it was already explained. Convenient!
Less convenient? Evie was still missing from the group. "First," Elsie started, before getting into any details of arriving here. "Have any of you seen Evie?" Worried sister mode, activate! Not that anything could really be done to expedite locating her sibling. Hopefully, someone had spotted her somewhere before fights and heavy shields became involved. Or, maybe Katherine and Anzu had watched her, like the fight? Judging from there being no details on that, when Kath gave her recap, Elsie was expecting not.
Looking over the riddle for a minute, the teen finally shrugged, and addressed Akemi first. "I'm really bad at puzzles or riddles. But! Those names are familiar," she pointed out. Which, would segue into answering Katherine's desire for knowledge of what anyone had been up to before now! "I was in a kind'a empty room. And then there were scribbles on the wall. And then I had some weird dizzy-hallucination. And the woman totally mentioned those names." Totally, probably, maybe. It was a little hazy already. Not everyone took well to being 'spun around' and prompted to hear disembodied voices, after all. "She said something about these, uh, sisters?" Yes. They were totally sisters. "Basically being trapped inside their stuff." In which, the blonde lifted her morningstar. "Then I was in the room above the fight with this thing." Pause. "And then I broke the floor." And, promptly, fell through. She should have seen that coming. Any details beyond that, she figured Katherine had watched, and the other two were clearly aware of. Or, somewhat aware of, in the case of a maybe-brainwashed Akemi.
"Wish that Random-Voice-Lady would've given me the answer to this riddle, though." And if she had? Elsie didn't seem capable of remembering it.
