Holly flicked her ears and tilted her head slightly as the Ravemon chuckled. So they didn't operate alone and kept to a team basis. That was something she could understand and get behind. She didn't know any better when it came to things like this; to her assassins might as well still be an enigma for the sake of the digital world. For it's peace and ultimately a salvation of sorts.
"I see. Okay. Makes sense to me. Still... learning how things tie up."
She'd flick her ears a little bit again and stare up at the ravemon as he told her that they would adjust her training for this simple answer. She'd dip her head in a nod as he explained more about what he did around here. What his word meant. Was there a... extended list of orders? People she had to listen over others? Something she'd learn in due time.
"More training? Mmm. All right. Good luck Boss."
She'd turn her head to the impmon as he came in blinking a few times, she'd take that hand to help her up. It.. was a nice gesture she wasn't really expecting all the time. She'd rub at the back of her head and give the impmon a small nod.
"Some bits and pieces, a few questions. A few answers. A few changes. But yeah. I'm getting it."
Her eyes lingered on the Boss for a few long, perhaps too long and somewhat awkward moments before she'd turn her attention more fully on the Impmon. He felt... nothing like her mother or father, but... His presence alone demanded something from her that her parents never seemed to... even if they felt similar to this digimon. The shademon extended a brief length of darkness to inform the impmon of the brief conversation along with the answer holly provided. One eye settling on the impmon for a moment before flicking to his 'student' of sorts.
"So he doesn't have to do too much to make sure you're doing your job... Just the right amount of interaction too huh... What are we doing today Dark?"
She was already raring to go, ready to go. Maybe the Ravemon made a good impression, or maybe something else clicked somewhere in her head. Iris' eyes widened a little bit and the shademon shifted slightly. Just... what was going on in her head? Process that didn't seem the same to him even a few moments prior. A she moved towards where the most of her training had been Iris slipped to give the Impmon another small message.
She wants to get stronger. Better. In just a short few minutes of interaction with Boss? Something's changed. I said before that she would be a great asset to us. But this is... underrepresented. A lot of hesitation she had been feeling over the last few days just... Vanished. But there's more that I can't see, not until she rests. Not without getting intrusive. We'll have to have a talk after she does.

More training? "Well, of course. You still have quite a bit to catch up on."
That was all, for now. Dark took over from there, giving a nod to the Meicoomon. "Just remember not to slack on that. Endurance, endurance, endurance - we have to be able to stay on high alert for the duration of a job, and sometimes, the long period afterwards." As for the second comment, as the Impmon considered the answer fed to him by Iris:
"Well, you can't really operate here unless you're able to be self-sufficient in your work. Considering your answer, we'll be working on your signalling and your endurance today. If we get to it, perhaps situational awareness as well - you'll need to learn to hide at a moment's notice."
That said, Dark would start to lead her onto the back - once more hearing an interesting tidbit from the Shademon. All of her hesitation is gone? Hm, Boss can have that effect on people... let me know, next time she gets some shut-eye. But it sounds like you've taken quite a liking to her, at this point.

"That... is true."
The meicoomon flicked her ears a little bit as Dark explained more of what she needed to do. More endurance, staying on high alert... Things that she would have to work on, she couldn't relax after a job was over and she'd hum thoughtfully.
"All right. That makes sense, things I'd have to learn for that sort of stuff..."
Holly would give a little bit of a grin and follow after Dark; she seemed excited to continue this training. She really enjoyed it and was getting better and better at things that they worked with her on. She wasn't sure how good her grasp of situational awareness was as she thought of it. She'd put a small paw to her mouth mulling over what Dark had told her.
Yes... He certainly does. Well, she'll be getting some in about ten or so hours. I have. I would be a liar if I said otherwise. I want to see her through this, I want us to have more people Dark. Why not someone like her? She was practically born for this even if she doesn't realize it yet.
Holly hummed a little bit and stepped into whatever training room that they would be going into this time. She wanted to see what else they had in mind for her, and with knowing what she was going to be doing well... Her eyes would flick to Dark and she'd keep those eyes on him while her tendrils shifted to a more comfortable position.
"So endurance first?"

Ten or so hours? Tch... its convenient, but at the same time she's somewhat of a freak of nature...
Still, perhaps that was what was needed to volunteer for this sort of job. For now, the Impmon would share in Iris' optimism, and as they had done the past several days, they would slip into the training room in the back. As she guessed, it was time for her to shore up her endurance:
"Mhm. This one's going to be somewhat different than what we've worked on up through now - in that there's no good way to practice it other than to simply wear yourself out." The Impmon pointed over his shoulder - towards that beat-up sandbag in the corner. "Use what you want. Punches, kicks, energy attacks, that sandbag'll take whatever you can do in rookie. You'll go in ten minute sets, with one minute breaks in-between. At minimum, I want to see one good hit on that bag, every ten seconds."

Might be a reason why we get along so well. Not like I really need sleep either...
The Shademon chuckled lightly and slipped out of that shadow leaving the impmon to his thoughts. He'd of course stay away from Holly's shadow while this training commenced, he didn't want to influence her training too much while she was working on building things up.
Holly quietly flicked an ear and her eyes slid over to the sandbag as the impmon explained a bit. So he wanted her to attack this sandbag in rookie form? In ten minute sets while making sure to get a good hit in every ten seconds? Then with one minute breaks?
She'd dip her head in a simple nod, feeling like she didn't really need to to address the training itself. As it was there were a lot on her mind; the shademon couldn't always be there to help her sort through things either. She was glad for the silence for a little bit, without that nagging sensation that he brought from time to time.
And so her repetitions began, she'd use her two attacks from time to time, even going so far as to throw in a flicker to help supplement a more mean strike. She would keep going until she was told to stop, until her body was aching and screaming to stop. There were some points where it was hard for her to move, that her body was stuttering and fighting with her at every step.
But the problem with holly wasn't so much that she needed to work on her endurance it was that regeneration of hers that helped with her muscles even as they tore. Even as they broke apart; any injury she might of sustained in an endurance training was quickly fixed. Eventually she wasn't able to keep going; her breaks steadily had been getting longer, or at least seemed like they did.
But that regeneration also ate away at her energy and with quite a loud obnoxious sound did her stomach beg her for some form of intake.
"T-tch..."
"I thought this might be a problem..."

Oh, like you're a fair point of comparison.
The Impmon chuckled right back - and left to his own thoughts, the Impmon would oversee Holly's training. Though simple in concept, it was far different than anything she'd done here prior, and put a lot more of her natural style on display. Rotations, flickers, electric shocks... each was observed, along with her strikes and general pace, Dark able to get a good idea of just what this Meicoomon could do. Even as she progressed, her style would change slightly, to both conserve energy and utilize what she learned over the past several minutes.
However, it reached an interesting end: not with a lack of energy, but with a fierce, growling stomach. Dark blinked, checking his timepiece... 28 minutes? It wasn't bad, but Dark had to ask: "Holly, you ate before you got here, right? Nice and ready for the training?"

For her? Aren't I?
That question posed before the Shademon left was probably the best comparison holly would get. They both stood out in this group, in more than one way. There were so many things that they had in common and even more that they didn't. They were both ostrosized from multiple communities just from birth alone and they had to treat jobs differently if they were to get anything done.
Holly was sitting on the floor her stomach obviously grumpy and wanted nourishment. The meicoomon grimaced a little bit and slowly nodded her head. Their morning had litterally started with Holly eating a full course meal, as per what the shademon suggested to her. Things that would give her a lot of energy and keep her body going but... It seemed to be burned through thanks to this.
"A full course meal, Plenty of meats, high energy and even some stuff I didn't like... "
The shademon paused and considered what was given here. A long distinct groan came from him and if a shadow could facepalm well... He somehow managed it.
"Her regeneration ate through all the energy she took in. Of course. I thought I accounted for it but... I guess not."
"I ate twice what I usually do!"
"It has to be that, it explains why she is how she is..."
"Fiddlesticks..."
Holly seemed frustrated and stood up putting a paw to her stomach as that growl ripped through her body again. A small bit of drool coming out of her mouth and she'd wipe that away. She was famished and shook her head slightly.
"I'm still okay to go, I have to be able to deal with this one way or another..."

Alright, so she had been following their recommendations... so what was the problem? Why was Holly not only exhausted, but apparently completely out of energy? The poor cat's hunger was readily apparent before the Impmon, Dark gritting his teeth at the display.
... And yet she was still willing to keep at it?
"You're not at all okay to go, Holly." Impmon's retort was a bit harsh in tone, but it was something that Holly needed to hear. "Each one of us has our own weaknesses - some we can overcome, some we can't. And one way or another, we found one of yours." He'd carefully approach, and set a hand right on the Meicoomon's shoulder. "I know you can run and keep at it a lot longer than this - a cap on your fight time's not too big an issue. Hm.. Iris?"
He would give a nod to the Shademon. "See what we have around here. She definitely needs something."

Holly stared at the impmon, blinking a little bit as he told her in a somewhat harsh tone that she wasn't all okay to go. Wasn't that part of the practice to push... She'd blink a little bit and look down after a few long moments. That hand on her shoulder was just confirming that she thought so differently of everyone here in core. She didn't expect sort of physical re-enforcement. Perhaps she read too many of those fantasy books...
"I had something prepped for later... Let me go get it."
"Another hurdle but..."
The meicoomon sat there quietly as the shademon left to go get the food that he had prepped the day before. He had figured she would need it at some point over the weekend and well... he was right. Holly sat there for a few moments, awkwardly shifting and staring up at Dark when the shademon was well out of earshot.
"Dark. Why is it that everyone seems so... nervous around me? The angels that I saw in the streets, people when I landed here... and I've been getting odd stares from a few of the others when I came down in. Is there like... something odd with getting a new recruit or something? Do.. people up there already know what I'm training for?"
Holly didn't understand her lot in life, she didn't understand what people thought of her kind. To her she was just another digimon; bent on making the world a better place in her own way. If she knew the truth she'd probably react poorly or perhaps she'd be even more confused than before. The only other meicoo that she had met was Mae and well... They hadn't really explained the hunger all too well or what the world really thought of them.

There was a difference between pushing one's limits, and running a car on empty! The latter would serve little purpose, except to potentially make Holly sick and have the training negatively impact her progress thus far. Rest was just as important in this case, and as Iris slipped off, the Impmon would give him a nod.
He was briefly alone with the Meicoomon... when Holly asked that question. The Impmon blinked in brief surprise. Did... did she not know? "No, no-one up there knows what you're training for, Holly." The Impmon put that thought to bed, but his tone suggested that the truth wasn't exactly a comfortable one. However, in this case?
She was already in a den of misfits. "Unfortunately, people tend to judge with their eyes before they know the whole story. Iris and I are Dark Area type Digimon, which are viewed as potential 'problems' in the City of Luminas. For you, Holly, its much the same: MeiCrackmon and the like are known for having both an aggressive nature, as well as an appetite for loading data. But to go so long without knowing that..."
The Impmon blinked.
"... Your parents lead a very sheltered household, don't they."

Holly flicked her ears a little bit and tilted her head as Dark told her that no one knew what she was training for. She'd furrow her brow a little bit and seemed poised to ask more but Dark continued. That people judged with their eyes before they knew the whole story. Iris and Dark were both Dark area type digimon which were viewed as potential problems. Especially here in Luminas; she didn't agree with that and almost voiced something but then her face fell as he told her...
Well it was the same with her.
The meicoomon opened and closed her mouth frowning slowly, her eyebrows scrunched and she'd scratch at her head. There was slow additives that were showing themselves in her head. Her dad's danger sense went off because of that, people watched her because of that, Iris' interest was two fold, knowing her dangerous nature already she would be a fit.
Her kind as it was... would be suited for this. Even more so than her mother, even more so than her father. She'd grit her teeth and she'd look up at dark after a few long silent moments.
"...Dark I'm a month old. I've been to Whitewater, Luminas and just the great library. My parents picked me up when I was three days. Sheltered doesn't even begin to cover it."
Her voice seemed very flat, very coarse. She was visibly irritated and frustrated with learning that but what bothered her the most is that not once did her parents try to address this. She barely got an explanation from another one of her kind. She'd close her eyes and sigh.
"I don't have the same issues other's do though. I don't get hungry in that way. I get hungry for... well knowledge. Like it's irrational and gives me a very bad headache, then I go read a few dozen books and I'm better at the end of it. Iris asked me about that at one point during our week together and seemed very surprised. The hunger here well... seems molded by my regeneration."
She'd stare at the door flicking an ear and narrow her eyes. She could feel Iris' presence very acutely after spending so much time together and he was hesitating at the door.
"I don't think they knew how to tell me. How would anyone really be able to tell their own child that?"
The meicoomon would stand up and grumble a bit heading over to the door, beckoning the shademon to come in... Who after a few awkward moments did enter. With a bagged lunch for holly and some things for the two actual assassins.
Holly didn't say a word after that, she simply sat brooding against a wall eating her food and staring quietly at the punching dummy.... When she was finished with her food? Well she'd stand up and stretch. Her green eyes flicking to dark as though inquiring what she should do next.

... She could have taken it much worse than that.
As Holly slowly mulled through her thoughts, the Impmon would look on, seeing those gears and thoughts turn inside her head. That she was viewed as a monster by the world, that she was capable of causing great pain. On hearing that she had a 'sheltered childhood', Dark gave a nod, lending his ear to her.
To hear that she was different - not only in manner, but that she sought books and knowledge instead of data. He even returned a grin at that... but right. How could her parents ever tell her?
"Maybe they aren't used to being parents." That much might have been true, but was it really an excuse? Seeing the Shademon slip back in, he'd give a nod, and step over to the specter, his foot crossing his shadow - letting the memory of that entire conversation play out back, before him.
You connect better with her than I do. Go on - before I screw this up any further.

The meicoomon's ear flicked a little bit as he spoke of her parents being unused to well.. being parents. After all syre was five months... siris was around that age too and she was just barely the one. They were constantly supportive protective and desired things of one another or the world. They even trained their children....
Holly's ears flicked some more and she'd blink as she saw that foot cross over that shadow of Dark. She felt something... odd about that and she'd grip at her chest fluff for a moment. Spending so much time with Iris in her shadow maybe... changed her a lot more than she realized.
Better late than never in learning this.
The shademon didn't sound mad, just a touch frustrated. That frustration directed at his inability to tell her that when they had plenty of time and the fact that she had to hear it from someone she knew wouldn't fudge up the truth.
So holly felt that sensation, the soothing touch of that shadow meeting hers and she'd take a seat again with a frown. She'd close her eyes like directed by the shademon and well...
Whatever they were talking about took a while, it'd be maybe another thirty or so minutes before she stood up stretching further and grunting softly. The shademon of course slid out of her shadow and went off to the side seeming somewhat exhausted with that discussion. Long conversations were draining to that effect.
"...A lot to think about still."
"Yes. But pace yourself holly; take those thoughts to the right people. Voice them when you're ready. Not before."
"Right Right. Dark?"

Iris, clearly, had a much deeper connection to the Meicoomon than Dark could fathom - especially over such a short period of time. He would leave them to talk, as long as needed - and for those thirty minutes, well, he would tend to other parts of the base.
He would finalize the plan for Boss' raid. He'd follow-up, and check over the records. And heck, he'd even get a pot on, to cook something proper. As he would finally stroll back into the room - and hear the tail end of that conversation - the Impmon gave a nod towards the Meicoomon.
"Right. For now, I just want you looking over the records for Whitewater. Focus on the entertainment district - specifically, the gambling ring." Was this a hint to her first job, or did he just want to test her knack for research? "Iris, this time, feel free to assist."

The meicoomon stretched a little bit and blinked quietly as the impmon nodded at her. He had left and she didn't really... even sense that? That talk was really in depth and perhaps she just needed that bit of time to focus and center herself. She'd grit her teeth a little bit and promised herself to just herself that she would be better.
"...Gambling ring in the entertainment district of whitewater. Gotcha."
The meicoomon paused to consider something and looked to Iris who blinked a few times. He'd simply nod his head but the meicoomon turned her head slightly to look at Dark.
"Is it okay if I use my ultimate form for that? Or do you still want me to keep to Rookie? There is something I want to try..."
"You can't be thinking of doing what I think you are..."
"I am. The best way of testing that is something like this. Dark?"
She'd turn her head, her green eyes fixating on the Impmon. She would take the assistance rendered to her by Iris. He would of course see things she wouldn't and come to conclusions she wouldn't. There was a soft click of her tongue on her teeth as she thought of several different sets of things at once. The shademon could see those wheels turning and was very thankfully he wasn't in her shadow right now...
