"As everyone has to start somewhere... I guess. yeah..."
Holly flicked her ears and kept her eyes upwards towards the sky, easing out that breath in an effort to keep herself calm. She was far less nervous than when she first came out, but there were gnawing doubts at her chest several times over.
"It was how he pulled me into this in the first place. Explaining it out to me, along with a few other things."
Her ears flicked and she'd quietly listen. The surprise of the Impmon wasn't apparent to her. They had seen sorts that had climbed out of the gutters, outcasts, those with nothing to lose but... Never one like her? Pleasant. Cheerful. From a happy family. Options within and without all over the world. She felt her breath catch in her throat and she remembered a conversation with her sister. She'd put a hand to her head exhaling slowly.
"It's because I come from them that I want to do this, to keep them happy. To keep them safe. Ma does this stuff as a team leader, my Da is a doctor. So... thank you Dark. For doing that. And I should probably thank boss for this once it's over."
The meicoomon stretched a little bit; she had wanted to become a researcher, perhaps a doctor like her da. But... she would just forever be in his shadow like that. If she followed her mother that would be the same, here? She was able to forge her own path. This type of career would last; one that would help the world in the shadows even if they didn't realize it.
"...Another part is that... I just... Didn't like the attention I was getting. Being put on a pedestal for just taking a test was just. Weird. So when Iris litterally rose out of the shadows I.. took a chance. That this would be something I could do, and something that I wanted to. And the longer I went, the longer I knew I could do something like it and would want to do something like it. So lets see if I can put a bit of belief in myself and get this... done."
