Ew indeed - Ophelia would've wrinkled her nose at the rank smell of the bones, with a sharp "Blech." as she smelled them. These scents were very unlikely to be anything of use to her, sadly - though she was confident that her sense of smell would come in handy. If her family had a distinct mixed scent between them, then maybe the tribe did, too? Either way, she'd gather up the bones - carrying them with her as she wrapped up her patrolling. Even if she couldn't get any distinct scents off them, maybe the bones themselves would be a clue? It didn't really occur to Ophelia what the others might think, seeing her carry the bones around - all she thought was that they could either do some cleanup, or otherwise keep the bones around for reference if more of Gajuma's folk came along!
Thus, when she squeezed her way into the kitchen - which, she actually found to be cozy. She couldn't help a soft, momentary purr at being close to other allies - it giving her a sense of security and comfort as she listened to Tadayoshi. She listened to him as he listed off the different instructions and suggestions, her ears perked and tail twitching a little - albeit wrapped around her leg, to avoid whapping anyone with it. All the whilst, Ophelia would be balancing the bones in one arm, as she snuck a quick text to Tetsu and Gryz -
'The last time my dad tried to stay up that long, he began seeing things in the snow, haha. Yoshi might want to know about any recent repair or cleanup projects you might've ordered btw, besides the greenhouse.'
- before glancing back up and returning her undivided attention to Tadayoshi. Once things began wrapping up, she'd begin to address him properly. "I'm down to scout and patrol around - I'd probably be better at that than the more technical stuff, anyways. I know how to navigate, and I know how to keep out of any other digimons' territories. Here's what Tetsu said about stuff like the farm schedule n whatever." She'd squeeze her way towards him, before passing him her D-Nexus to show him the text that Tetsu had sent her before - as well as whatever response Tetsu will give shortly, likely - and asking "Also - what should I do about these bones, by the way? Do you think they'd be a clue to anything?"

It started cooling down to the aforementioned 16°C. Bero felt it was far too cold, he wasn’t a cold kind of guy, himself. He was sure that the Spadamon would be enjoying it, Trash-bin if he knew how humans worked or what temperature worked well for them. He just knew that for himself, this was colder than he wanted, and he was going to change something about it. Ensuring to stand himself on another part of the counter which was vacant, from both human and nearby digimon, Bero opted to warm himself up by creating a thin, careful layer of fire just over his cape. It was almost mystifying, seeing such a small layer of blue shine form over the black surface and calmly flicker while creating a soft heat. It was like a bunch of lit candles formed a blanket of fire.
Tadayoshi had arrived with the entirety of his crew, while Ophelia had arrived with the... Bones she had found? Well, that’s a little weird to bring with you. But nonetheless, she shared her information as Bero had did his. How cramped the kitchen ended up being didn’t bother Bero, as long as everyone had the brains to not touch the fire, or him in general, he’d be fine. His body was almost unmoving, unexcited, uncaring for the world around him, receiving hints and information. Ophelia offered to do the scouting, which was fine by Bero. Out and alone in the jungle, with his personality and traceable presence? Way too risky. But wait, Ophelia was just as blue and bright as he would be. Well, at least Ophelia wasn’t him, so didn’t impact his safety directly.
“Then if that's happening, i’ll do the damn farmwork over with. The UIs, Dependencies and functions of the hardware is simple enough, so i’ll do check ups on them. I’ll use the communication thing if needed.” He suggested. The way he talked kind of cut a few corner which made communication harder, but he didn't care much for talking, as good as he might be at it. They'd understand him, right? He looked to the bones that Ophelia was holding. Part of him wanted to know where they were from, and how they came into being. It was likely that just some program was used to create bone-ware from defeated digimon, but that seemed inefficient and dumb. Either way, his mind sprung to an answer of some sort. “Hide them at the very least, that we don’t send out mixed signals to anyone. If any locals think we belong to that power tribe, then things will go downhill fast, right?”

Tetsu's reply came after... quite a while, but this probably because they needed the exact amount of data... data that gathered not by a kid definitely.
List of Repairs and Time
Seven Days Ago: Uninstalling Kitchen Stove Reason: Gas leak, not enough protection on the piping. Action: Total rehaul of kitchen area, natural gas pipes disabled. Suggestion: Installing kitchen with less reactive fuel instead.
Reparation for Attack Living room, Room #2 Action: Fixing flooring, wall, and removing some beds. Unfortunately no extra beds able to be be located by this time. Approximate amount of time needed to replace the broken beds are 14 days.
Five days ago: Greenhouse raided Action: Replanting the crops. Worker are hired from Akala's tribe and from Rustport Town. Fixing the glass house only possible in two days after because the lack of material. Considering buying in bulk.
Radio Tower Attack: Radio tower got hit by Meteor Wings. The glasses must be replaced also. Called Prof. Kalor to deal with the shelter's communication issue.
Installation of Camera: To make it easier for reparation, drone system are installed in the radio tower.
Three days ago: Another battle happened. fixing the shelter's wall. Workers were injured, but nothing life threatening. The workers believes that the attackers are from Gajuma's tribe based on what found on their possession (bones). Prof. Kalor was fine, and was slightly shaken. Installation of the new glasses panels ended up around night. The ground around the shelter also fixed somewhat.
Yesterday: Routine checkups. Prof. Kalor sent worker to check, and everything seem to be working fine.
That's almost all that's noteworthy I guess... If you have any other question, do ask!

"Well that explains why we have no beds," was Yoshi's answer after taking a few minutes to heavily scrutinize the data that Ophelia presumably showed him. "Hopefully that gas line won't be a hazard. The problem is..." Tadayoshi glanced at the bones Ophelia had brought back. Thankfully he could tell they weren't real by sight alone. "...this report does not mention cleanup where Ophelia found those and evidence of a scrap, and it seems odd to me that bones would be lying around to be found either before or after someone cleaned up. Keep an eye on that direction. Ophelia, I'd ask you to store those somewhere out of the way where we can find them later. I can't imagine they'd be useful for anything, but I don't like leaving any stone unturned." The General couldn't think of another order of business. He wondered a little about that professor, but he supposed if that was relevant information Tetsu would have shared it already. "My team, on your assignments! I want check-ins from my perimeter team every fifteen minutes." Those Yoshi mentioned earlier began to exit in order to begin their work. As they did, he passed out digital resonance maskers, of which he had enough for the whole perimeter team. "Alpha through Hotel, don't forget to mask your shine with dirt. Find spots with a good view that'll keep you reasonably hidden. The rest of you, just do your best. Stay in touch, remember the ROE, and be safe."
Once the perimeter team was gone, Yoshi also more politely requested, "If you two want to leave the shelter grounds, I'll ask but not force that you don't go alone. For my team, this is not optional."
"Yes, sir."
"Wilco."
"You-"
"-got-"
"-it!"
"Captain, come with me to the radio tower. That mention of a drone system sounds interesting, among other things."
"I will, sir."
"Lieutenant, you Missimon, help Ophelia and Bero with whatever they ask for if anything unless I say otherwise. If they don't need you, just make yourselves as useful as you reasonably can."
"We will, sir."
"Ophelia and Bero, if you need any of us, you've got your radios over distance - or we'll just be in the tower if you're close."
On that note, Tadayoshi took Commandramon to the radio tower for a look around. He wasn't entirely sure they'd be able to work out how to use it, but they were curious and thorough in their examination of the interior and its systems. "Well at least I'm not sweating like a pig in here."
"A pig, sir?"
"Like a Vikaralamon. Sorry."
"I think there's something we failed to consider in accepting this job, General: our AEGIS duties. If we're here for three days, they'll see you missing for-"
"-a little over ten hours straight. I didn't forget. But Sophie is gone, and Colin thinks I'm visiting my uncle several hours' drive away."
"In case of emergency he may expect us back with the home teleport portal."
Tadayoshi bit his lip. He did miss that! "He... may. We'll just have to hope there isn't one."
"But there was."
Commandramon was right. A control spire was erected in his front yard. "Yes... there was."
"And what about your father?"
Tadayoshi scoffed. "He's going to have to get used to me disappearing."

So to hide the bones somewhere a bit out of the way, for later reference if necessary, was what Ophelia gathered from both Bero's and Tadayoshi's responses. Ophelia would nod to herself, glancing down at the bones - they still didn't smell that nice, but she hoped that nobody else in the kitchen was bothered by the smell. One thing was for sure though, Ophelia would take the time to wash herself once the bones were done with.
As far as the past cleanups went, it was a shame there weren't any beds - beds seemed nice and comfy - but she also wasn't too torn up on it. "Even without beds, we can all snuggle together if we get cold or uncomfortable! Though I imagine Bero'd get all grumpy about that, eheh." She'd chirp in an unconcerned fashion, adding "Maybe we can find stuff to use to cushion stuff, too..." to herself thoughtfully. The gas line seemed like it concerned Tadayoshi too - though Ophelia wasn't too knowledgeable about that stuff herself, so she didn't comment on it and just trusted in Tadayoshi that this was a concerning thing.
Either way, she had her instructions - put the bones away somewhere out of the way, go ahead and patrol - preferably with a partner - but be mindful if not, etc. etc. Ophelia would nod to herself and to Tadayoshi in understanding, "Bones, wash up, then gonna patrol a little out beyond the barrier if nothing else comes up - I wanna get a lay of the land with my eyes n' nose too, as fancy as my D-Nexus and it's map stuff might be." She'd state, once Tadayoshi was done addressing her. Turning on the spot, Ophelia marched her way out of the kitchen, and would look for a spot to put the bones away that was within easy reach at the very least, but also wouldn't scare any passerbys and whatnot. She decided upon using a spare bag to bag them up, and hiding them under the roots of a tree - covering it in dirt and leaves to properly obscure it. "Hid em under the big tree, a bit way's away from the hotspring." Ophelia let the others know over the radio, adding "Lemme know if you want me to move em."
Now, to wash herself off.... Ophelia glanced to the hot spring, and hummed for a second. She guessed that'd work, as long as she didn't soak herself in it - she didn't like getting her fur soaked, and it seemed like she'd get a heatstroke even just looking at the spring. At least her armor was mostly what was touching the bones anyways - but she'd still tidy up her hands for good measure too. Moving to sit at the edge of the hot spring, she'd take her armor off and begin washing it in one of the pools of the hot spring - humming a soft tune to herself all the while. She didn't necessarily pride herself on her singing, but she still liked doing it - it was peaceful, and she loved humming the songs that her father and mother would sing to them.

The concerns of the human were only of semi-interest. In Bero’s eyes, it did not change the plan they had ahead of them. He should just be staying here, keeping watch, getting a feel for how dangerous it is. Hopefully, indirectly, via the overexcited Spadamon. Who, just now, mentioned something that Bero didn’t approve too much of. From his little spot of the counter, the sound of crackling suddenly increased as everyone was bathed in a soft blue glow for a second. Bero’s blanket of fire had become a small bonfire with the mention of cuddling, but it quickly faded down afterward. It seemed the Fire wasn’t too prone at making other things catch fire, as nothing else did catch fire nor did the temporary bonfire leave behind any black markings.
He however, did not retort verbally. Now was not the time for it. While he had difficulty hiding his anger, he could opt to act less in on it and not make enemies of these people. Something he was hoping he could hold out for three full days. The point of discussion was the lack of beds, something that Bero couldn’t care less for. Bero had slept on metal and rock before, even through rain. Would the others need help with the lack of beds? Well, that’s tough, not that Bero could offer help.
The two started going about their tasks, Which was Bero’s cue to do his own thing By the time he jumped off of the kitchen counter, most of the others had already left. Still having a thin coat of fire over himself, he moved over towards the farming grounds. Bero did not know plants from the top of his head, so he had to use his scaled not-so-flaming claws to dig out the dirt a little besides the different plants, to see which one were the Sirloin plants. He started working on ‘harvesting’ those. He didn’t have experience or elegance, but understood he wasn’t supposed to destroy the plant and just get the meat out.

What's found in the tower? Interesting thing for sure. The drone system are connected to the radio communicator. It's mostly automated, and apparently can be controlled remotely. Direct input working fine, and it's seem simplified for a child's use (most likely to compensate Tetsu's non-tech savvy side). There are not a lot of kanji, and even if there are, there are furiganas above it for ease of reading.
The network are yet to be set, but it's seem that the main control unit is far from here... from the look of it, it's in the Rustport. Most likely this is where the Professor Kalor is at. Most data seem to be sent over to there as a copy.
Ophelia's side... there are nothing much around there... until suddenly, someone approached her from behind. "Halle-ho, stranger. Never seen you before."
That someone looked like an aged Monochromon. His head is painted with skull marking... a person from Akala's tribe. "Washing your armor, are we? Not taking a dip? The water here have varying amount of heat. Maybe someone from the northern like you can take a dip on the less hotter part, heh. Anyway, if you won't get in, mind if I take a bath here?"
Where's the sirloin? Well that's easy. it actually sticking out from the ground by its bone portion. When it's unripe, the meat does not stick out of the ground, and is actually covered by membrane. The size also small enough, and it smelled raw. But a fully ripe sirloin does not have such a gamey smell. It's subtle, and seem to half cooked. Semi ripe one smelled like one sold in supermarkets.

Though normally she might hear or smell someone before they arrived, Ophelia would be absorbed in the motions of washing her armor, and softly singing to herself. It took another digimon's voice to startle her from her task, nearly dropping her breastplate into the hotspring in the process! "Shit!" She'd scramble a little bit as she just managed to snatch up her armor, setting it on the grass besides her as she let out a faint 'phew'; if she had dropped her armor, diving into the hotspring for it wouldn't have been pleasant, she imagined. She'd glare at her forearms - the wet fur hanging downwards - before working to squeeze the excess water out on the grass.
But now that her breastplate was safe and sound, she'd glance over to see the aged Monochromon, and the skull marking that his headcrest seemed to sport. She'd make a soft, curious noise - sniffing the air to get a bead on his scent, before she responded to the digimon's questions - "I don't really like swimming or full-on bathing," She'd admit - eyeballing the water. "Up in the mountains where I come from, wet fur is far more dangerous than no fur at all when it comes to staying warm - and cause my fur's so thick, it gets all heavy when it gets soaked; so it's pretty uncomfortable for me on two fronts when I get wet." She explained; it semi-instinctively made her extremely uneasy when her fur was soaked, and all that excess weight was just not fun to deal with. What went unsaid - but was probably obvious - was that she actually didn't know how to swim, either; albeit that was a bit offtopic.
At the question of whether the Monochromon could take a dip though, Ophelia would scoot to the side to let the Monochromon enter, responding with "Sure!" as she did. Her tail would sway side to side in a surprisingly calm but friendly fashion - sure, she was tempted to ask if the Monochromon wanted to wrestle a little, but he seemed more interested in bathing, and she wanted to finish washing up for now. Whilst the Monochromon settled in the waters, she'd move to an adjacent pool to finish washing up without disturbing his bath too much - asking "So you're from Akala's tribe? What's it like up there, as a member?"

Tadayoshi and Commandramon:
Getting to know the radio tower did not yield such positive results as Tadayoshi wanted, but he used his radio to pass the intel along all the same. "Team, there's not much here in the radio tower. That drone control our employer mentioned is seems to be overridable from all the way in Rustport... but I think I can get us eyes in the sky from here. Maybe that will free up the lieutenant."
"I'm sure we'll figure something out. Over." was Jetmon's playfully sarcastic reply.
After completing the tower examination, Tadayoshi checked his watch. He thought it was time for a check-in. He held his breath. "All deployed callsigns, check in. Over."
"Vandal - nothing to see here. Over."
"Simple - everything's fine for now. Over."
"Talons Two and Three - we're bored. Over!"
The penultimate message was presented to Tadayoshi's Loader screen in text form: A-H: NO ANOMALIES DETECTED
"I'm with Mr. Angry! When do we get to blow somethin' up already?"
"You know protocol. We have it for a reason. Over."
Tadayoshi could hear Angel sigh in an exaggerated manner before repeating, "Wraith here wondering when can blow somethin' up already!"
"When I say so, Wraith. Remember to self-identify next time! Not using your callsign is a discreet distress call on this team, in case you're under duress and being monitored. Out."
"Hun, I ain't gettin' taken alive again."
"Just do what you're told. I'm getting tired of this. Out!" After Yoshi stopped broadcasting he glanced at Commandramon, "She needs more discipline. At least the twins can take an order."
"You sent an attack dog on the task of a guard dog."
"Yeah. I did."
"What now, sir?"
"Well I can't just have us all sitting around. You and I should stay available in case of emergency, but..." Tadayoshi spoke through his comm link again. "Lieutenant, I have a job for you. Over."
"Sir."
"Take the Missimon siblings and introduce yourselves to the locals. It's probably polite to let them know we're here and what we're doing. Over."
"Wilco. Out."
"See, captain? Angel could learn from her. In the meantime..." Tadayoshi started fiddling with drone controls, then. He tried to give one what he thought was a simple enough set of commands: take off, fly to the mouth of one of those caves from before, then come back just to see if he could make it work. "I wonder why the master station is on the mainland, though."
"Should we ask?"
"We probably won't have to worry about it. I'll not bother our employers with something so trivial." Jetmon and the Missimon:
Meanwhile, on their General's command, a party of seven digimon departed by air toward Akala's village. Maybe it was high ground, but that hardly mattered for mobility for Yoshi's air force. When in sight of a live soul, should they have made it there, they identified themselves immediately as, "Friendlies! Envoy from the KIZNA shelter crew!" and landed on the edge to the south, as they were not yet invited in. "I'm lieutenant Jetmon of Silence, and we're part of the team testing the shelter south of here," was how she'd introduce the party to whomever presumably met them.

While the other two were at their adventures, Bero could only learn the intricacies of how a sirloin plant looked like and when it was ready. Sadly enough, he did actually learn these things, although more out of scavenging purposes than out of interest or education. Before harvesting any pieces of Sirloin, he carefully ran his claw over the sirloin, trying to learn how the membrane felt like. Normally, a Digimon who didn’t know much of the membrane would just zip it by and break it by accident, not even noticing it existed. Bero wasn’t much different at first, but he was learning quickly as he was busy here.
If there’s one thing he had, it was an absurd learning capacity. In fact, It would just be a few of these and he’d start recognizing the membrane as if it was a second nature. His eyes lacked the shine of interest and investment though, he was simply passively learning and harvesting the Sirloin. Due to his small frame, it wouldn’t be possible for him to carry very large batches at once, so his task would set him on rather regular trips to and fro the Kitchen. These trips were an activity that felt such innately routine, that Bero could feel himself conking over to a natural autopilot mode.

The moment the control panel is accessed, several drones came out from their 'hives' which are several cells in circular shapes. The drones itself are almost shaped like a hockey puck, only colored to blend more with natures and to mask any sort of reflection of lights. Speaking of which, it's made of metal. When the order is issued, it immediately revealed its true form...
A beetle looking shape.
The drones followed its order, but it's seem that only three drones would be deployed to one location at a time, perhaps to avoid detection. There are also limitation where one drone only can be operated for two hours. In total there are eighteen drones in this shelters. It's seem that there are plans to expand, as there are actually thirty six holes, yet those are yet to be filled.
The moment the drones took off, they showed that they're faster than any child stage, but they're obviously defenseless. There are no weapon to them at all. Even then, they followed their instruction thoroughly. They gone to where the cave is... and the feedback is completely at real time without any sort of hitches.
There are several types of feedback: Visual, Audio, and thermal. It's not thermal vision, but more to how hot is the area in general, represented in fluctuating temperature reading.
As expected, the area around the pathway to the volcano are hiking in heat. However, they're not as bad as the time they first approached the island.
The moment the drones are near the mouth of the cave... both audio and the visual feedback are cut, but not before the drones freefalling with a "klonk" sound. The reading said that the temperature was around 63C.. After thirty seconds, the feedback resumed, but it's seme that the drones are retreating. Perhaps it's made to have emergency evacuation procedure when its feedback is cut and will return to the hive automatically.
"Not keen on bathing? Well that's fine. I think all cat mons are like that..." the Monochromon commented. The Monochromon does not smell like one of the bones owner, but neither he is a total stranger. There is a scent of him, faint, inside the shelter kitchen. It was mixed with several of similar scent.
"Ah but young lady, hot water is different. It can soothe your aching bones, it cures fatigue and just perfect to heal you after a day of a hard work. Plus you're not in the mountain now, aren't you? Your fur will dry quicker in this place anyway."
The Monochromon let out a soft sigh as he seem to feel his aching bones slowly healed by the water.
"Oh yes I am. Is young lady related to the kid who built the shelter? There is a faint scent of him around you. It's nice place in our tribe. Food are there, albeit slightly scarce... people helping one another, we often chat about what happened on the island lately, and we often play music at night...
but we wished we have more youngs. Many young Adult stage Digimons in our tribe sadly is in rebellious phases... they tend to leave the nest faster than before you can stop them. They usually joined Gajuma's tribe or attempt to claim their own territory. Do you know, young lady? Gajuma was actually born in our Akala tribe."
"Halle-ho!" one of Vdramon greeted the envoys. It's a silver colored Vdramon. "Oi Kin! Check this out! Guests!"
"What do they want?" a Gold Vdramon stationed on the tower beside him asked. He seemed just returned.
"They said they're envoys... from where again?"
"Idiot! Can't you remember that sort of simple task!?"
"Then what about you!? Where were you just now?"
"I was called by Master Akala geez! He told us there are envoys coming--"
"OH THAT'S IT! They're from the KIZ...kiz... uh... what is it?"
"KIZNA YOU DIMWIT! It's the shelter made by that kid back then!"
"Huh? Ain't that made by Weatherdramon professor from Rustport?"
The Gold Vdramon just looked at his colleague in disbelief. "Ignore those, friends. Gin isn't exactly the brightest. Is there any sort of identification that you can provide? If you don't have any then I'm sorry but I will have to ask you to wait until you do or please turn back and leave. As lax as we are, we have sighted some questionable individuals lately and it does bring concern..."
The membrane felt fleshy, almost like a thick chicken meat, but also rough, like muscles fiber. It almost looked like a giant onion, except the inside is of course, sirloins. These membrane apparently would tear by itself the moment it's fully ripe.
BERO HAS OBTAINED SIRLOINS!

Tadayoshi and Commandramon
"Looks like KIZNA's repair team did a good job. Everything seems to be in working-" Yoshi ate his own words as the extreme temperatures of the cave entrance forced his cluster of drones to initiate some kind of emergency override to his commands. He tried to make them turn back, but they simply refused. "63 degrees, captain. Humans have keeled over at two thirds that temperature."
"Geothermal vents?" "You read my mind. Unfortunately, the locals might be suited for temps like that. You just can't know with digimon, can you?" "Often not, sir." "Right." Tadayoshi began to broadcast to everyone on the mission with their comm link, "Team, whatever you do, don't go into those caves without an environment suit. Temperatures read 63 degrees." Yoshi glanced at Commandramon. "The Silencer might make it in there, though. Chrome digizoid doesn't conduct heat so easily or melt at temps that low." "Should I start the engine?" Tadayoshi balked at the thought. "Don't even think about it, captain." "Mind on other matters, sir," the soldier dutifully promised.
"Go examine the drones for damage. If it's too bad we might have to recall Hagurumon for repairs."
"Yes, sir. Jetmon and the Missimon
When asked what she wanted, the lieutenant attempted to interject, "Like I said-" but was interrupted by the V-dramon. Asked about where from, she attempted to remind them, "We're from the sh-" but still couldn't seem to get a word in edgewise. "Now there's no need for that kind of- The kid is actually named- do you mean Professor K-" It was just no use. Obviously the two were very absorbed in arguing with each other. She had hoped to sit through this, occasionally rolling her eyes, with the reward of being let inside in the end only to be turned away at the gate!
But Jetmon knew her objectives and her orders. She was also perfectly capable of solving her own problems like a pilot had to be. Politely, she bowed, and stepped away a distance, Missimon in tow. "What-"
"-the-"
"-heck-"
"-was-"
"-all-"
"-that-"
"-about?" they all took turns saying.
"I can't be angry at them for their prudence, even if it's an inconvenience. We can prove who we are, though. One of you, go find Ophelia and ask for some proof of KIZNA affiliation. I'm sure she'll understand, and you will return it to her in the same shape you found it." Surprisingly, the Missimon did not leap to obey orders, unusual behavior for them. Actually, they all simultaneously became quite nervous for some odd reason, freezing. "...what is it?" Jetmon asked, obviously unamused.
The answer wasn't quick to come, but one after another the Jetmon echoed back, "Just-"
"-one-"
"-of-"
"-us-"
"-Lieutenant-"
"Ma'am?"
Again, Jetmon rolled her eyes. Then, she randomly selected one Missimon to stare down in the eye. "You. Sid. Go now."
"Ma'am?"
"Now."
Gulp. Sid knew better than to talk back to the Lieutenant when she gave him the crazy-eye. Skittish as he was from the thought of ever being alone, she was scarier. Speedy little thing that he was, he made it to Ophelia with the speed of, well, a missile. Maybe she was with a stranger, but neither of them were acting tense, and the male was marked friendly. So Sid passed him a timid, "H-hi there, old-timer!" before addressing Ophelia. "M-M-Miss Ophelia, the l-lieutenant- sh-she sent me to ask for y-your KIZNA badge, Miss. I-I p-promise to give it back!" The poor little thing looked like he wanted to feint from nervousness alone. "Can I have it p-p-please, M-Miss Ophelia?"
On his way back, Sid made good on his promise to guard that badge with his life... until he landed back among his siblings. Such a hard landing almost made him drop it on the ground, but Jetmon caught it with one Talon. "Good. Now go present it." She passed it back.
"Ma'am, please-"
"You've got to learn to be more independent. Go."
Again, poor little Sid was forced to approach the pair of burly champion digimon. After he squeaked from fear, he managed to stammer out, "Th-this proves we're with K-KIZNA, right? A-ask the old M-M-Monochromon by the hotspring! He was there with the friend I borrowed this f-from!"

Ophelia's nose twitched a hair as she considered the Monochromon's scent - huhm, she'll have to ask him about if they've been to the kitchen before, in a minute. Regardless though, she'd listen to the Monochromon talk about the benefits of the water, as well as pointing out that this place was warmer - indeed, she noted that her armor was already drying pretty decently. Though, the fur on her forewarms was still quite wet, which made her wrinkle her nose a bit. "I guess you're right; maybe I'll try it out once I get some patrolling out of the way, I sorta wanna get a lay of the land first." She'd respond - adding "Though it still makes me feel kinda uneasy, even if that's all sorta in my head - It was kinda drilled into me ever since I was little, to not let my fur get wet if I can help it at all, with how dangerous it can be; so even just my forearms being wet like this kinda bothers me." As though to get the more subconscious reaction she had to her fur being wet across, she'd tap her temple at the mention of it being 'in her head.'
She'd glance over to him as he indirectly mentioned Tetsu though, as well as talked a bit about his tribe. She'd tilt her head curiously, pondering what kind of music the tribe might play - she'd sometimes listen to the music that traveling digimon would play, and the songs they sing, and she of course knew the different songs (mostly lullabies) that her mom and dad sometimes sung to them. She was also curious about how it sounded as though a lot of Gajuma's tribe, were digimon who were originally from Akala's tribe. "You mean Tetsu, yeah? I'm a friend - or I guess more acquaintance? We're on the same team, though! And I've been talking to him, asking him about stuff, and he seems pretty smart, too." She'd show the Monochromon her KIZNA badge - it being proudly pinned on the bandana she wore. "Me and the others though - a human and all his pals and a BlackGabumon - are here to help out by keeping an eye on the shelter and test out staying there for a few days."
"It sounds like the tribe's pretty chill; I imagine my brother would like it there, he likes routine I think; albeit he'd probably not deal with the heat well, eheh." She'd mention somewhat humorously, her tailtip twitching, before continuing "Though the Adult stage 'mons... I mean; I can't blame them for wanting to head off on their own. I left the mountains cause I was curious about the world beyond, and I wanna get strong enough to make my parents proud! But I can also see why that's an issue for you guys... " She'd chirp, thinking to herself. She was very much aware of the Piyomon and the Funbeemon, and where baby digimon - both reincarnated and non-reincarnated - come from, after all. "I didn't know the bit about Gajuma being from Akala's tribe, though. You cool with me asking why he ran off to start his own tribe?"
It wasn't long after this question though, that little Sid would come along. Though she noted pretty quickly that Machine digimon didn't have quite as apparent of a scent, she could still smell the nervousness coming off of Sid as he drew near - greeting them and asking about her badge. Ophelia couldn't help a soft chuckle, scratching the back of her mane, before working to unpin the badge from her bandana. "Breathe, dude; you'll be fine. Just get it back to me soon as you can, yeah?" She'd respond, passing the badge over to Sid and giving him a gentle little pat on the head. She wasn't quite sure what Sid wanted the badge for, but she figured if anything went wrong, she had a strong enough nose to track stuff down.
She'd turn her attention back to the Monochromon now, though - humming a second, before she recalled something. "Oh, yeah! I almost forgot to ask." She'd begin, her ears pricking a bit. "I think I remember smelling scents from you n' some others, over in the kitchen - guessing you guys come over here to cook sometimes?" Ophelia would curiously ask, tilting her head a bit.

A few Sirloin steaks had been pulled while unripe, but just a pair of about three of them. For any further examples, the blackgabumon had no issue feeling the membrane, having learned how it felt and how to recognize it when he didn’t see it immediately. With some effort, he had given the group a store of sirloin steak!
He couldn’t help but be reminded of a sort of jingle. A sort of ‘Da-da-da-daaaa!’ sound. He had no idea why though and that made his face scrunch up in annoyed confusion. He didn’t recall his memory being so pointless and remembering things that weren’t important to his own research or acquisition of strength. However when stacking the last of the Sirloins away, he would receive a message from the radio comm. Do not go to the caves cause it’s… 63 degrees? Bero couldn’t help but develop a wicked grin. Those temperatures seemed just right for him, and wouldn’t harm him too much either, but it meant he had somewhere much closer to be a worthy expedition than up to the mouth of the volcano itself.
When he next had the chance to not be on scout duty, he was as sure as all hell he’d be researching the source of that intense heat from the caves. He needed to know if it was environmental code, digimon code, how much hotter it was inside… besides, the moment heat was dangerous, his special vision would pick up on it. Now, should he be telling the others he’d be visiting there or not? Hmm. He wasn’t sure yet, but he decided to remain quiet for now. He could always tell them while leaving or right before he was about to go in. He finished his task with some renewed vigour. The cooling system and the air filtration systems had recently been checked, so he knew not if he needed to check those, but due to lack of other things to do, he went ahead to do that.

Upon showed the badge and sniffing it several times, the two guardsmen nodded. "All clear, mates. You can come inside as you please. We have recorded your scent and you will no longer required to show the badges as per the three days contract." Kin the Gold Vdramon told the squad.
Meanwhile on Tadayoshi's side, the drones are unharmed. The lenses are working fine, and the hit on the ground aren't bad. The drone definitely fell when he heard that 'klonk' sound as there are some earth on the legs of the drones. Inspecting the soil might need Ophelia's D-Nexus to actually give an accurate description of what is it actually, as its scanner function, while generally not for use against Digimon, allows them to scan properties of the soil.
"Take it easy, Lass," the Monochromon said. "I too cannot swim, so I understand your feeling of aversion to water. Yes, that child... it's hard for me to remember everyone's name... that kid's name often slips up from my mind, probably because he's not local... plus I'm getting old, dahahaha..."
The tribe, chill eh... "Well it's mostly filled with old Digimon and young who born from these old people. Chill... is probably not too correct, but not wrong either. We just want to live peacefully you see... Hmmm, I'm not against telling you why. I'm guessing that he got accused as the attacker of the shelter, yeah? Well... you see, it's a slightly long story... But to boil it down...
Gajuma was born a strong Monodramon. So strong that he could fight against three of his peers and not losing. He's a strong child who honors those who are stronger than he is... but well... he felt that for the strong to work for the weak is... fine if only he's properly paid for it. However, back then the leader was a Triceramon by name Master Korak. Master Korak's policy are less... strong-friendly than Master Akala's. The strong should serve the weak in name of the village, so was Master Korak's decree. Gajuma, who was strong, find himself treated like a slave and cannot fight back.
Those who lost against him used this policy to forces their duty on him, and at times takes his food for themselves... Gajuma of course was furious. He tried to rebel, but what can a child stage do? Out there, wild Digimons are fierce. A kid who knows nothing of outside world will never survive. So when he evolved to adult, he gathered his fellow workers and storms out. His rule is for the weak to submit to the strong. Gajuma gained followers... about 20% of the village supported him, enough for him to break out and make clan of his own.
But Master Korak was enraged. To separate from the clan to him was equal to biting the hand of your master. Master Korak nearly ended Gajuma's life if not for the fact Master Akala evolved that day. Master Akala proposed a 1 vs 1 duel, to which Master Korak lost. Master Akala's policy are more lenient, and ensure fairer relationship between clansmate... but even then, Gajuma had enough. He asked Master Akala if he would like to stop him. Master Akala immediately shook his head no. Gajuma left that day, along with his clansmen. He conquered the west portion of the island, outfitted himself with claws and teeth of his competitor and reigned there...
...By the way this might came as a shock to you, but...
Gajuma is Master Akala's son."
