It was late in the evening as Crystal and Sanoske made there way though the jungle. It's been nearly a week now since Pure's abduction, and Crystal seemed to be finally recovering from it. At very least, her mind wasn't dwelling on it as much as it used to. Her strength, on the other hand, still was a matter of question. Some days she just felt a little woozy while others she could barely walked at all. This was the main reason why she was currently being carried by Sanoske.
"Hey Sanoske. I believe I can walk now. Do you mind putting me down?" She asked him as she took a second to look around her surroundings. For some reason, something in the back of her mind was telling her this place looked kind of familiar.

Earlier, Ghost had split up from the group. She had helped them get here herself, as fast as she could, but let them off some distance away from where the forest began due to the fact that her Mega, BlackImperialdramon Shadow Stand Striker Mode (no, really) is more than a little too conspicuous to be flying over a forest. However, she made for a nice ride. He was used to giving Crystal (and/or Pure if he was up to it) rides, but never ridden on another, larger digimon like this. In fact, ever since he came about, this form of Ghost was the largest digimon he had personally met.
But they eventually landed and split up, hoping to multiply their chances of finding Pure's kidnapper or, at the very least, clues to help them find him. And during all this, he held on to Crystal, carrying her whenever she needed to. Speaking of which, the Lopmon asked to be set down, to walk under her own power. He knew this ordeal drained her, but he knew better than to be overprotective of her, and obeyed her without question.

"I'll try not to." She told Sanoske as he let her down. Her legs were a bit wobbly at first, but she seemed to be able to managed. Crystal took a deep breath as she started to walk on her own.
As she walked, she thought back on something. It wasn't about Pure this time, but something else. Something she has been taking notice of more and more while the two were on there journey. Something that had to do with Sanoske. Yet what exactly that something was, she wasn't quite sure yet.
"Hey Sanoske. I've been meaning to ask you something. Do you remember a couple days back when we were on the beach? Well I've been thinking back on that day and couldn't help, but notice something. When Ghost called us love birds, why didn't you say anything to tell her we weren't?" Crystal asked out of curiosity more then anything else.

Crystal had asked about Sanoske's reaction to Ghost calling them love birds. Admittedly, he had forgotten all about that moment considering all that happened. And as he scratched his head, remembering what he said, he gave his answer.
"[That? I wax going to say something... but then I realized that Ghost understood what I was saying. As I said, only certain type of digimon can understand how I talk normally... Ghost being able to do so had threw me off. But I apologize for letting that comment go uncontested.]"
While Sanoske still did not know why Ghost understood him in her Super Mega form, he also was mentally preoccupied with making sure Crystal was doing fine, caring for her, building her up, worrying over her, holding her close to him when needed, keeping her safe, and trying to rescue Pure. Such things as someone thinking they were a couple just kind of fall by the wayside.
He was a bit oblivious to why Ghost asked that (and Ghost had seen how close they were), but he seemed embarrassed that he didn't say anything about that comment, since it may have made her uncomfortable.
That being said, his own personality had the basis of returning what feelings one receives. He has yet noticed fully that he is currently giving more kindness to Crystal than receiving. Not to say Crystal cares little for him, but that a good deal of the kindness he is giving to her is of his own accord.

Crystal nodded as she heard Sanoske's answer. "Don't worry about it. To tell the truth, I kind of forgot about that whole Ghost being able to understand you being strange thing. Plus I doubt she even remembers that whole love bird thing anyways." She told Sanoske as she believed she was looking to deeply into things. Sanoske was just being nice to her as always, there wasn't any reason to suspect anything different.
She took another quick glance around as she couldn't shake this feeling that she's been here before. Maybe it's because her and Pure took this path when they first headed towards Whitewater right after she lost her memory. Speaking of which...
"Hey Sanoske. I don't think I've ever told you this before, but this jungle holds some of my first memories after the incident. It's funny really, I can barely remember what exactly happened during that day. It's been quite a long time since then." She told Sanoske as began to reminisce on the events of that day that felt so long ago.
It wasn't long after she said that before they stumble upon the remains of some type of camp that used to be here. It was obvious that the remaining tents have been here for quite awhile. In fact, it was amazing that they were still here at all with how badly torn and beaten they've become. There were even wagons, burned and looted long ago that have been left abandoned in the middle of the site. It didn't take much of the imagination to guess what exactly happened here.
"Sanoske... I think I've been here before." Crystal said as she gripped her forehead. Why did her head hurt so much now?
((Sorry if this post feels rushed. I kind of wanted move the thread forward and couldn't think of a better way to do it -_-))

Sanoske was glad Crystal wasn't offended. That was a bit of a load off his mind. The Gazimon hoped Ghost forgot about that love bird comment as well.
She didn't, by the way.
However, Crystal revealed that, post amnesia, this area was what she remembered first. It was an interesting bit of info, but he was hesitant to ask more of it. Knowing she was in some accident that, well, gave her amnesia, he felt asking about it would be rude.
Their search lead them to some old campgrounds, long since destroyed. A curious find, a mess such as this. But Sanoske noticed that his Lopmon companion had some sort of headache. She recognized this place, and old memories seemed to try to emerge. As he rushed to her side, he put the pieces together... was this where that accident happened?
"[Crystal? Are you alright?]"

Her head ached as brief images flashed in her head. They went by so fast though, that she couldn't make out much. All she could really tell was that something bad happened here. Something that both angered and sadden her at the same time. An anger and sadness that she had experienced all to recently.
"Yeah... I'm... I'm okay Sanoske. My head just hurts a little is all." She told Sanoske as a tear fell from her face. It wasn't exactly a lie, but that didn't stop the tinge of guilt she felt for not telling him what she just saw. Yet she had no clue herself what exactly just went through her head. While it could be her old memories beginning to resurface, but it could also just be her tired mind just playing tricks on her. There was just no way for her to tell for sure right now.
"Sanoske. What do you think happened to this place. And what about digimon who had set up this camp? What happened to cause them to abandon everything so suddenly?" Crystal asked, wanting to hear what the Gazimon had to say on the matter. Maybe it could help her determine if the images she saw were actually memories or if they were just her imagination.
((I'm guessing it won't be long now before our would be thief make his move. So I guess we should figure out who should control, but if you don't mind though, I would like to control him/her.))

Crystal claimed it was just a headache, but it was obvious to him it was due to seeing this place. Of course, Sanoske had no idea what or how much she remembered, or if this place simply triggered a familiarity she had with it. The Lopmon did, however, ask for his input. Chances are she needed someone to bounce ideas off of, to be certain of things.
The Gazimon looked around the site, at the wreckage. He, too, wanted to be certain if he was getting the right message from this scene.
"[Hmmm... I didn't know any better, I'd say this is where you lost your memory. Someone, or a group, laid waste to this place and the ones living here. Of course, I couldn't guess who all survived or why the place was attacked. But if the nearby area is where your first memories are, then it's not much of a stretch that you lost them around this place. And that Pure was the one who saved you.
This place looks familiar to you, and a nearby area holds your first memories after you lost them. Maybe this is a clue to your lost past.]"

Crystal grimaced as she listened to Sanoske talk. It seemed to be the most likely case. Well... Except for one detail that Sanoske seemed to have been confused about. All she mentioned was that she had woke up in this forest, she had no idea how close to this place she actually was. Though she guessed it didn't take much to put two and two together to guess that she was probably here when she lost her memory.
"I don't know. To tell the truth, I don't know where exactly I woke up except that it was somewhere in this jungle. So it could be just mere feet or miles away from this place. Besides maybe the reason I think I remember this place is because I came across it before I lost my memory, and so it's possible that the shock from discovering this place had just became ingrained into my mind. There's no real evidence yet that..." Crystal paused as she could of swore she heard something. Someone was watching them right now. She just knew it. But the question now was from where?

Well, given all that he knew of Crystal, including what she knows of her past and what just happened, Sanoske gave his best guess. He was certain that it was most likely what happened, but he knows that was due to what info he currently had. He also imagined this might be part of the reason why Pure was so over protective of her. His sister was in some attack, most likely here, that erased her memory. Still, he had no idea what Crystal's physical condition was at the time. This was all purely conjecture.
Sanoske was more than willing to help Crystal figure out her past with the information given, but suddenly she stopped speaking. Judging from how she looked, perhaps she heard something? She certainly was good at it, picking up things Sanoske couldn't.

"Yeah. I could be wrong, but it sounds like someone is close by and probably watching us." Crystal told Sanoske as she scanned her environment to find out where exactly their stalker is at. And sure enough, soon after she said that, it seemed their stalker had decided to make their self known. "Aww... You had to ruin all my fun. Oh well then... I suggest you two hand me all your valuables and nobody has to get hurt." Said a Gorillamon as he emerged from the forest pointing his hand blaster at the pair. ((Appearance: Champion: Gorillamon Type: Beast Attribute: Data Familiy: Nature Spirit Moves: Mega Blast: He fires a single large blast from his hand cannon. 30 ft. Range. Duel Shot: He fires two smaller blasts consecutively. 30 ft. Range. Simian Grab: Attempts to grab an opponent with his free hand, usually followed by a point blank Mega Blast or Duel Shot. Blaster Whip: He swings his gun arm at the opponent.))

Things were getting suspicious. Sanoske didn't like this bad feeling he was getting. Someone was watching them, and the Gazimon was looking around. But the stalker soon stepped out into the open. A Gorillamon had pointed his blaster at the two of them, wanting their valuables. The two had little on them, but Sanoske was not in the mood to give up anything. Besides, this was bad timing on the thief's part. Did he have to come now, of all times?
As much as he wanted to fire off a few missiles, for Crystal's sake he would try the peaceful route... although his Hidden Missile attack was ready to go off.
"[We have nothing of worth to give you. Please, leave us be.]'

"Yeah, we have nothing to give you. So you should probably just leave." Crystal said shortly after Sanoske did. She didn't want a fight to brake out, but was prepare if one did.
As Sanoske and Crystal that they have nothing to give him, Gorillamon looked over at Crystal and took note of the necklace around her neck. "You don't have anything to give me. You shouldn't lie to me so blatently." The thief said before pointing his blaster at Crystal, "Mega Blast" He called out as he fired a large shot from his blaster that went straight over Crystal's head.
"Now I suggest you tell your girlfriend there to hand me her necklace and everything else you have or else I'm afraid I'll have to shoot you both." He said, obviously not going to take no for an answer. Crystal was honestly a bit shaken about the close miss, but was looking over at Sanoske as she waited for his response. Not that she didn't knew what it was going to be anyways.

That cannon toting ape was being annoyingly persistent in wanting to take things from them. Even to the point of calling them liars. Mere useless claims from a kleptomaniac gunner, twisting things to suit his reasoning and to intimidate them. But things went too far when he shot at Crystal. While he missed on purpose, there was a flood of emotions in Sanoske's head.
Fear, for Crystal's well being. And he had to protect her. It was practically his only real purpose to protect the one he cared for. And anger, at the gall of this Gorillamon's actions. Sanoske growled angrily, far from happy with their new guest. Crystal would not give away her necklace, of course. No matter, Sanoske would not let this go unchallenged.
"[Shoot all you want... we've nothing for you! Hidden Missile!] "
Openings around the ground revealed themselves, firing a number of missiles at the opponent as he roared out his attack. Quickly afterm Sanoske stood in front of Crystal, blocking her from any harm he might deliver.
"[Hide, Crystal!]

Gorillamon growled as he saw Sanoske fire at him. He dodge some of the missiles, blocked others with his gun, but a few did manage to hit. He attack caused him to slid a few feet back before he managed to shake it off. "So I see your not going to do this the easy way then. Oh well... This way is more fun. Mega Blast" He said as he fired a shot straight towards him.
Crystal was unsure what to do when Sanoske told her to hide. She didn't want to just leave Sanoske here, but she also knew she wasn't in any condition to fight right now. So what was she suppose to do? Crystal closed her eyes as she came to a hard decision.
"Alright Sanoske... But you better not die on me. You got that?" She said hesitantly before heading off to hide by a nearby bush.
