"I have to admit I agree with Zack about sticking together because I'm getting this feeling that if we split up we would potentially leave ourselves vulnerable if there are too many foes. It would be best to combine our power and I for one don't fancy being picked off as I am not really at full strength at this moment." Sarumon said though that last sentence hurt to say but she felt this was something the group needed to know especially since she needed her strength to cure the imprisoned digimon of the virus they were infected with. The fact that Zaan had a Digital Gate had brought up a problem but that was one thing they could probably handle after the digimon were cured. "Speaking of the Digital Gate would any of you know how to safely deactivate it without putting anyone at risk? I am not the most mechanically inclined. I am better with animal knowledge than machines but I guess such a thing wouldn't help here, huh?"
When Psych cried out Sarumon was startled but was able to calm herself yet her wings were flapping at high speed like a hummingbird for roughly a minute before returning to a more relaxed pace. She didn't notice that however since there were more important things to worry about. "Sounds like some kind of dark digimon but unlike me definitely malevolent in nature. Now I am more concerned since that description ain't much to go on." Yasuo and Yuudai both activated their holosuits probably so as to not stick out so much which was not a bad idea. Sarumon then returned to her human form to save her energy just as Shi mentioned needing a nap. Chuckling Stacy said "If anyone needs a nap more than Shi it's me as I am the oldest human in this group. This has been a busy day and it's not done yet so I agree we should get this job done."

"Woah, woah, woah. Back up. BACK UP!" Zack shouted as Psych floated over to the unconscious villain he was lugging on his shoulder. The vigilante planted his heel against the floor and barked those orders at the psychic Digimon even as he scanned the villain's mind. "This man, whatever he's done, is hurt and you were just dangling him out of a window forty stories up a few seconds ago with the intention of dropping him if you hadn't figured out he was being manipulated. As of right this second he is under my protection and you need to back right the hell off." Zack said, looking up at the Psychic digimon without a hint of fear, even knowing that Psych could telekinetically crush him like a mosquito without even lifting a hand.
Marigold stood by her father, snarling and planting her feet in much the same way. They needed Psych to know they were dead serious, if he wanted to hurt their prisoner he would have to tear the heroes apart "limb from limb" the same as he had threatened to do to the supervillain who was now slung over Zack's shoulder. He had broken whatever fragile trust and respect the two had had for him in an instant, something he might not ever be able to recover, knowing how strong and unmoving Zack was on his moral stands.
"He'll get arrested, that much is for sure. but right now he needs a hospital." Marigold said, stepping right between the psychic dragon and her father. She was being slightly more diplomatic with Psych but only slightly.
"Let's all get the Digimon out first. The victims come first. After that we can worry about the Digi-port. Push comes to shove I don't know of any machine that can stand up to getting smashed in with a big enough hammer." He said, still watching Psych like a hawk as he turned, adjusting his hold on Zaan for a second and then walking forward, marigold staying between him and Psych.

Luckily for Zack, Psych did not want to harm the human in any way shape or form, despite the fact that he was chastising him for simply following Stacy's advice. He demanded that Psych back away from Zaan after the Psychdramon got what he needed, stating that Zaan was under his protection now, with Marigold of course backing him up. "I had already agreed that I would not kill him, Zack. I was merely going with Stacy's suggestion on restoring him back to his previous self."
"I have a feeling you two didn't really like each other even before this Zaan stuff started," Adrian commented to Zack.
Now it was time for them to get moving and rescue the trapped Digimon, with the twins' holosuits being reactivated and Stacy returning to her human form. As they left, Stacy asked if there was a way to safely take down the Digital Gate. "Well, if it's not turned on, then there's no risk involved with smashing the thing to little pieces," Shoutmon said.
"I can carefully and precisely destroy the gate without risk of any unexpected side-effects," Psych said. "Unless you simply do not trust me enough at this moment."
"Considering you almost killed somebody in cold blood, yeah, we don't trust you," Adrian responded. "But if it were me, I would've done the same thing, so I can't really blame you for that."
So, to not drag this mission out more than it needs to, the group managed to get down to the server room, freed the enslaved Digimon, and once Stacy was able to use her holy power to cure them all of the virus, they were all sent back via the scarily large DigiGate that was in the server room. Now once all the Digimon were back in the Digital World, and the gate was turned off... did the group trust Psych enough to destroy it like he said he could?
Back in Zaan's office after everyone had left, a familiar face entered the destroyed scene. She looked back and forth at all the shattered glass and broken furniture in the office... surely, those Tamers had a decent fight with Zaan here, didn't they? No matter; that wasn't why Erika Carter was here in the first place.
"My, my, you really gave them quite a fight, Zaan," Erika said to no one in particular, with a smirk on her face. She walked up to Zaan's somehow still standing desk. She opened a drawer with a vial of the HDL virus within, and she grinned. "You really were stupid, though... planning to sell Digimon as common servants? What was all you could come up with?" She looked out the now broken window...
"Surely, you can do more with the HDL virus than that." She walked up to the broken window, looking down at the city below. "Or maybe I can do more with the virus..." Erika laughed a wicked laugh. "This city won't know what hit it..."

....Woah, things just went from like 0 to 100 real effing quick. Shi was barely even done checking his phone before Zack and Marigold seemed to jump at Psych's throat about what he was trying to do to the unconcious human. Putting his hands in his pockets Shi just stood up for a moment making sure to keep an eye on what was going on in case he needed to step in to stop it, what was he going to do? Honestly not much but even still he had Yuudai and Yasuo on his side at the moment to stop the fighting as well. But there was one thing that Marigold had mentioned, him being arrested.
Though Shi decided to simply run his hand through his hair instead of saying anything, there was probably no arrest that would be going on tonight. Unless it was them for breaking and entering, after all what could they possibly charge him on without instantly alerting to the whole world that sentient digital creatures exist? They already were basically forced to tell one person tonight and Shi really didn't want to tell anyone else about all that.
"Sorry but yeah, I'll be perfectly blunt. I don't know you and first impressions haven't exactly been steller even after the threatening to toss out of a window thing. This isn't meant to be rude or single you out or anything I don't really trust anyone here except for my partners at the moment, all I'm here for is to keep those digimon that're trapped safe." Shi didn't know Adrian at all, had only met Stacy and Zack pretty much once so him trusting them wasn't exactly set in stone at the moment. If anyone would ask if Shi was trustworthy he'd just look at them like they're an idiot and relay all he has done to assist since he and his partners had arrived.
But due to timeskips and all that apparently happening now everyone missed Yuudai falling down the stairs followed immediately by Yasuo falling down the same set of stairs. Which lead to the big secret server room where everything was good apparently except for the evil monologue back the way they came, that was probably bad but considering Shi is unable to break the 4th wall it is something he is unaware was happening at the moment.
When it came time to destroy the machine Shi had to express his concerns. "Yeah no even after that walk I still don't fully trust you, also shouldn't we like figure out how this works?" Shi was definitely confused as to why the hell they would want to instantly destroy something like this.
"Yeah I mean, I ain't the sharpest knife in the box but shouldn't one of those fancy teams take a look at this, after all we JUST learned there was someone else involved. We should find out how to detect something like this instead of just blowing it up Or else something like this could just happen again?" Yuudai didn't know how they would figure out how this works but even still there had to be SOMETHING they could do?
"Even if we destroy it whoever was controlling Zaan could just make it again, considering they were able to take so many digimon without anyone noticing the idea of just being able to have a machine like this is something I don't want to consider." They did bring up some good points, after all what was stopping them from just breaking into the digital world and doing this again and again until it works?
"If anything destroying it would probably just delay some bigger threat that'll happen later on." Though how they would get it out of here was something Shi had to think on for a bit, it was definitely a puzzle considering it probably wouldn't fit in his infinite cube.

Despite being socially awkward the vibes had gotten so bad that even Stacy herself could read the room so she thought it was best to keep quiet and not poke the bear but she glanced at Zack and Marigold wondering if those two would be willing to chill out for at least a little bit.
While Stacy liked the idea of Shoutmon smashing the gate she was not so sure such a thing should be done as it could create more problems than it would solve. What if there was a feedback of some kind that caused it to atomize them. No recklessly smashing the device was not something she was comfortable with. She listened to Adrian and Psych interact before she carefully considered her words and then said "I don't blame you for what you did considering you were aware of what you were doing but left powerless to do anything about it. Then again, who am I to judge your actions given, as strange as it sounds, I knew someone I thought about killing but never did. None of us are perfect, Psych. Let's just worry about getting you and Speed back together."
Shi and his partners had fair points to add as the group made their way with Yasuo and Yuudai taking a tumble down the stair which caused Stacy to grab the railing in a death grip with both hands to somehow avoid joining them. When her balance was steady again she continued down the stairs only holding the railing tightly with one hand instead of two.
As the group continued on Stacy was getting a bad feeling once again and it was not just the thoughts of some mysterious dark force that manipulated Zaan rolling around in her head. The very thought of everything from the mysterious dark digimon to the fact that even if the gate was shut down the creator could just make another made the woman shudder and she wasn't one to ignore her instincts both human and digimon alike. This caused her to subconsciously look back the way they came briefly before focusing on not falling on her face again.

"You committed to not killing him only AFTER you found out his memories weren't real. If he had been who he thought he was you would have turned him into street pizza without a second thought. Everyone else can try and absolve you of that fact, Psych by you know I sure as hell won't. It doesn't matter what he did to you, what he made you do or what he did to others. You committed to killing a man. That is an evil, evil thing. And you don't get to just forget it." Zack said, nothing taking his eyes off of Psych's for the conversation. he knew that the Psychic dragon could crush him into the size of an orange with a flick of his wrist, it didn't stop him from looking up at Psych with all of the condemnation that he intended and Marigold, as always, backed his play to the hilt.
"No, Psych, right now I don't trust you to screw in a light bulb, much less handle delicate equipment we know nothing about. I'm with Yuudai on this one. This building, especially the part of it where the gate would be kept is probably secure enough that we can get someone from AEGIS to look at it and figure out what we're actually dealing with." Marigold said, staying between her father and Psych for the entire trip as he father hoisted Zaan under his arm like a camping bag, adjusting the "strap" around his shoulder as they made their way down an evidently trecherous flight of stairs. Even if there was no point in dropping Zaan off to the police Zack would assemble as much evident as he could drop him off with. The other options were killing him or imprisoning him without trial, literally neither of which the vigilante would agree to without a fight. He saw the Digimon off kindly and gently, helping them to calm themselves a little as they slipped through the portal, standing with Yuudai on the idea of leaving the gates where they stood until they could get someone to look at them. Gates to the digital world, especially on this scale, were rare and if they were being used to kidnap Digimon or do other evil deeds without anyone noticing, finding some way to take them apart for study was a better option than just wrecking it.

"Despite what you may be thinking, I am not going to 'crush you into the size of an orange,'" Psych said to Zack, with so much emotion running high it was natural that one or two thoughts could be unintentionally read by the drake. "I am not going to try and defend myself to you. Partly because yes, you are right, I was committed to killing a human, and in your line of work you cannot possibly convince me that you never had those thoughts yourself. Secondly, you were never going to respect me or my brother in the first place, as evident by the fact that you think our organization does less to help than your vigilante nature. Why should I care what you think?"
"Can both of you just shut up already?" Adrian asked, sounding more and more annoyed the longer this argument went on. "Zack, I'm with you on the whole 'he tried to kill someone' thing, but give it rest, would you? He was the one that saved you guys in the first place, you kno- OH CRAP!"
Adrian stopped in his tracks after he saw Yuudai and Yasuo both take quite a tumble down the stairs. Unfortunately, Shoutmon had bumped right into him and gravity was not kind to either of them as they both joined the Agumons in falling down the stairs. Worse than that, Shoutmon also bumped into Stacy too, so unless she was really holding onto the railing she would also go tumbling down the stairs as well.
"...it was a moment of weakness, I'll admit," Psych said to Zack and Marigold. "I am not typically a killer. Trying to kill Zaan wasn't something I intended to do. But the rage... the anger... it consumes all. I convinced myself that killing him would be the only way I could get satisfaction. I doubt even Speed's own words would've gone through to me. And the worst part is that I still feel that he must die. You were right; I became something Speed wouldn't want me to be, yet it is something that I feel that I cannot go back on. That's why once this is all over, I am essentially going to disappear. I'll be resigning from AEGIS, and Speed will never have to see what I became."
Once everyone was downstairs and had successfully cured the Digimon and sent them back to the Digital World, the only question remaining was what to do with the DigiGate. Destroying it was a no-go, judging by the opinions of the others there. It seemed that the idea to get a major group like AEGIS to study it was the popular idea. Until... "Wait, do you hear beeping?"
A faint beeping sound could be heard coming from the gate itself. Shoutmon would be the one to get closer and closer to the sound of the beeping, eventually finding a screen on the gate's console that read "0:03."
"OH CRAP, IT'S GONNA BLOW UP!"
Well... "blow up" was the wrong phrase. What actually happened was that it short-circuited, causing sparks to fly from the gate before the whole thing collapsed in on itself, essentially becoming broken beyond repair and nothing but scrap metal and wires, and even then those parts would disappear into data like a Digimon would when they die. "Well... shit."
"Of course it had a self destruct timer, why WOULDN'T it have a self destruct timer?" Adrian asked, clearly annoyed by the whole thing. "Thing falls apart, the rubble disappears, meaning no evidence." Just to be sure, Adrian went over to the gate console as well and used the computer to search for any files. "Files are deleted too. God dammit... what are we going to do now?"
"I assume you all were trying to find evidence?" Erika's voice rang out as she slowly approached the group, a flash drive in her hand. "This flash drive should be what you're looking for. Evidence that the Helpers aren't what they say they are, and that the technology that we claimed to use doesn't actually exist... without revealing your Digimon to the world, of course."
"Wow, that's really handy, ma'am!" Shoutmon said with a big grin on his face.
"Yeah... a bit too handy... where did you-"
"I work here, remember? I have access to Zaan's computer, and I gathered everything that could be used against him." She then gave a warm smile to the group. "Just call it a favor. One that I'm sure you'll pay back someday for me."
Of course the group didn't have a reason to NOT trust her, since she had been helpful to them before with getting to Zaan's office. Actually looking over the flash drive would also prove that she was telling the truth; enough evidence to put Zaan behind bars without anything mentioning Digimon or the Digital World. But still... would the group take up her offer?

Shi had to admit he was confused on what Zack was on about, well not the whole thing just one part. "So far the only one who has even remotely tried to 'absolve' him is Stacy, which just makes sense given she works with him or something like that. Look we all know each others side of this story and I think I can say neither of you are going to agree on something so can we just, focus on the shit going on right now and yell at one another after." Shi had slight problems with him being 'saved' by the digimon, he was pretty sure he and his partners could've handled it if it came to that if anything they saved him, actually screw the silent brooding part. "We saved one another, stopped him from going wild on us and he helped us out. Then we saved him from blowing our cover." It was a give and take situation.
Oh dang, now Shi was just on a roll. "Look, Psych I don't know you, I don't know who you are really and you don't know me so just some advice from one stranger from another. Don't run from this, if you think you're doing the right thing you're not. That is the selfish choice, robbing those who care about you the chance to help you. I don't like people, I'm an introvert but you had a moment of weakness, it happens. It's bad but it happens to even the best of us." Shi pointed down to the two Agumon who were currently wrestling on the floor of the stairs on who tripped who.
"Those two gave me this scar on my face, I ended up in the hospital nearly dead because of my own choices which lead to a terrible thing for both me and my partners, the two I care about more then anyone else, who I consider my brothers. But I never ran from it, we fixed it. We patched it together. You don't become a horrible being because of one bad choice, you recognize what it was and you work to change it, you don't hide from it, you don't leave so they can't see you. You face it regardless of the pain. Anything else is just selfishly taking the road YOU think is better." That was probably the most Shi had spoke this entire time he was here, hopefully that would get through to them. Shi pulled his hat lower over his eyes slightly as he started to walk down.
Well back to the flash forward it would seem the gate was busted which was very convenient. "Yuudai." Yasuo looked over at his brother with a worried look, which his brother seemed to nod as they seemed to have the same thought.
"Not everything is gone, this is way too coincidental. It shuts down just as we get the last one through? Zaan couldn't of started the timer he's knocked out and considering his plan he wouldn't start it while we're up there." Yuudai looked up at Shi who scratched his head looking annoyed.
"Someone else here knows about digimon, knows we beat Zaan. Wants to cover it up. That the gist I'm getting from you two?" His partners nodded leading Shi to sigh.
Then that same lady came back, with a ton of things to help them out. Shi however had his eyebrow raised as she mentioned having access to his computer. "So you could've gone up there at any time and spoiled this digimon thing for yourself." While technically speaking Shi didn't have a reason not to trust her if anyone wanted to read back a few lines ago Shi doesn't trust anyone. If she was using Zaan's computer while they were down here, aligned with the self destruct timer and showing up right as it went off....
Shi held his tongue for a moment glancing over to his allies, maybe he was over thinking it. Should wait to see how everyone else feels about the situation.

Stacy may not of claimed to be the most socially aware person in the room given how socially awkward she was but the issues between Psych, Zack, and Marigold were really getting on her nerves now. Up until this point she had been tuning the bickering out but now she was at her wits end. Turning to the mentioned trio her posture tense as she had risen to her full height of five foot six before a glare focused on them that could of frozen lava reflected her anger. Then in a voice she picked up from dealing with getting her younger brothers under control she snapped "Will you guys stop your bullshit right now!" Her tone was stern and commanding showing she had reached her BS saturation limit and was not going to be willing to deal with it anymore. "I don't care what personal issues you have with one another but this infighting is not conducive to the job at hand. I'm not asking you guys to be friends but what I do want is for you all to stop acting like toddlers and act professional instead. You know you are doing bad when I who have the maturity of a twenty five year old is telling you to grow up." Stacy finished saying her piece before continuing down the stairs.
However her path down the stairs was accelerated by Shoutmon suddenly hitting her from behind causing her to loose her grip on the stairs and tumble down them herself landing with a painful thud on her back. "Ow." she groaned as she lay on the ground. Meanwhile Shi was putting his two cents into the matter while Stacy was slowly and painfully pushing herself into a seated position before slowly getting to her feet rubbing her back. Then the Digital Gate short circuited. 'Well damn. Now what?' she thought before Erika arrived before the group. Shi and his partners weren't the only ones who seemed Adrian was too. Stacy was now wary given how Erika had given them the info they needed and Stacy's mama didn't raise no fool so she was wisely cautious of the woman now as well though she didn't voice those concerns. Then she looked at the gate and said "Well since the gate is conveniently fried what now?"

'You've gone somewhere the people who love you can't follow. I was there, Psych, right where you were. Full of so much rage that I thought only blood could give me satisfaction. Only difference? I didn't blink looking into the abyss." Marigold said, she didn't need to say much more than that. She could remember the feeling of standing over her birth mother, hand raised to crack the Flymon's skull like an egg and leave it at that. But she hadn't, her father had tugged her back from the ledge. Psych would get no sympathy from her any more than he would be getting it from her father.
"DAMMIT." Zack barked, kicking a remaining metallic part like a soccer ball so that it fizzled and shattered against the far wall before falling away into dust. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. "it's...alright. We've saved the day, as far as the day stretches. Someone raises their ugly heads out of the shadows, which they will, mark my words, then we'll be right there to stop them just like we were this time." Zack said, his tone almost sounding like he was trying to convince himself of the reality of it as much as he was trying to convince the people around him. There was still someone out there who was doing this to innocent digimon, someone out there with the will, the intention and the drive to steal his daughter's future away from her. That WOULD not stand. But he couldn't do much about it now.
"You know, Miss Erika, you are becoming less trustworthy by the second." Marigold said as the evidence was dropped into their laps. Like her father though, she took a deep breath and tried to center herself despite the stress bubbling up the back of her neck. "At least it should be enough to drop Zaan with the proper authorities and get him charged with something. Even if it doesn't stick long term it'll keep him wrapped up nice and tight for quite a while." Marigold said, taking no small pride in that, dropping the criminal off to face the hands of justice even if her and her father didn't see eye to eye with the authorities on principle.
"Alright...alright. The digimon are out, that counts as a victory as far as I'm concerned. Victims are the priority, everything else is a cherry on top more or less." Zack said, adjusting the way Zaan was hanging from his shoulders. Helping the innocents out was always priority number one.

Naturally, while Shi tried to make things better with Psych's feelings about just leaving AEGIS because of this situation, giving some pretty solid advice about not running away. He even shared the fact that the scar on his face was due to a mistake he made, and he and his brothers simply moved on together. He had a point; making one bad choice didn't make you a horrible person, as long as you learned from it.
Marigold then proceeded to undo all of that by continuing down her path of demonizing Psych. As far as she and Zack were considered, Psych was a horrible being now, despite what Shi had just said. The Psychdramon wasn't quite sure what to think anymore. He was even just considering not listening to either side and just doing what he felt was right, which was of course, leaving like he was planning. Even Stacy was getting very frustrated about this whole thing. And as far as Adrian and Shoutmon were concerned... yeah, Psych was about to do something pretty messed up, but what mattered was that he ultimately didn't. Zack and Marigold were both in the wrong in their opinion with how they just simply would not budge on their stance. It rubbed both Adrian and Shoutmon the wrong way. "I will... put much thought into it," Psych said to Shi, electing to just ignore Marigold. "I do not yet know if I am ready to go back to AEGIS, however." "Like it or not, that's where you're going after we're done here, if we have anything to say about it." The DigiGate exploded... it was gone. It was all gone. Shi was correct, though... it wasn't Zaan's doing. "If it wasn't Zaan, then... who else could've done it?" It didn't help Erika's case very much when she came down to the group, offering the flash drive that can be used against Zaan. Of course, everyone else was just as wary as Adrian, Shoutmon and Psych were about her sudden arrival. But she had a point: they didn't have a solid reason to not trust her, and they needed that evidence to put Zaan away.
"Zack, why don't you be the one to take the evidence, along with Zaan himself?" Adrian suggested. If Zack agreed, Erika would simply walk over to him and hand over the flash drive without any sort of hesitation at all. Now that that was all taken care of, and the DigiGate was in literal pieces... what did the group do now?
"So I... guess that's it?" Shoutmon asked. "We stopped Zaan and saved all the Digimon. What else is there to do, aside from bringing Zaan himself in?" "Well, there's still plenty left, but for right now... yeah, I guess it's over. We'll go with Psych back to AEGIS HQ... he has someone he needs to reunite with."
Once everyone had said their goodbyes with each other and left Z-Tec (which had surely been condemned for investigation purposes by this point,) Adrian, Shoutmon and Psych arrived at AEGIS HQ. The partner duo looked up at Psych, who looked unsure of what to do next.
"Are you positive about this, Adrian? It has been a long time... and Zack and Marigold do not even believe I should be here..."
"He's your brother, Psych... no matter what you almost did, he's going to welcome you with open arms and a big smile."
"Yeah, don't even mind what those two idiots Zack and Marigold say."
"Don't call them idiots, Shoutmon. I mean, they do have a point, but it was still wrong of them to condemn you the way they did. Come on, Speed should be waiting on the ground floor. I told him we had a special surprise for him."
The trio walked together, opening up the doors to AEGIS HQ. In front of them stood a Flamedramon variant, with pure orange armor and blue eyes. He looked up at the newcomers, and his eyes widened with both surprise and happiness, as with them stood none other than his twin brother.
"Psych..." Speed muttered, tears beginning to roll down his face.
"...I'm back," Psych simply announced, a small smile forming on his own lips. This was met by the biggest glomp of all glomps as Speed ran at full speed towards his brother.
"PSYYYYYYYYYCH!"
Aaaaand queue the freeze-frame ending...

Well it seems Marigold and Zack wouldn't budge from their stance in demonizing and throwing the blame all on Psych, which honestly hella rubbed Shi the wrong way. Especially how Marigold seemed to ignore everything Shi had just said. Usually Shi would just back down and throw the conversation to the side, however today Shi seemed a bit more irritated then normal causing something else to happen instead. "Bullshit, if the people who love you truly love you they'll go through hell and back to save you. The fact that I'm standing here as I am is proof of that. Do you WANT him to regress fully down that path or something? Even if you can't forgive him DON'T put words in the mouths of those who love him." Can't follow? The hell did Marigold know about that? Shi didn't have much knowledge on her or Zack's whole deal but if there was one thing he couldn't stand it was putting words in the mouth of those who weren't here, especially when you've already shown an avid dislike of said people.
"Time heals all wounds, if you need a day or so that's fine you've been through quite the ordeal, but so long as you at least try that's enough." Part of Shi didn't like taking this route, he couldn't say for sure that he still fully trusted Psych or any of this but at the same time he wasn't just going to stand by and let something like that happen. Especially after thinking similar thoughts back when he got hurt.
The last part though Shi was a bit skeptical about handing Zack over, which seemed to be with Yasuo as well. "Does he really need to go to jail? Something tells me he needs Therapy more then anything. His memories aren't his own this was forced on him right?" Yasuo said looking a bit downcast about the whole thing.
"It leaves a bad aftertaste, is this really the right call? He hurt a lot of digimon but considering his memories. I don't know." Yuudai was in the same boat, however Shi was already walking over with his digivice already charged up for the Digi-port.
"Regardless it's out of our hands now, Mission's done. Anything like this happens again you know where to find me." After all his email on his D-terminal was literally just ShiNamika, pretty hard to not recognize. With that Shi opened his Digi-port and walked on through followed quickly by the twins.

Stacy sighed not feeling the energy to deal with any more trouble. Groaning she began rubbing her sore back which she had been ignoring until now but with the job wrapping up she didn't have to put up a front of strength anymore. Boy did she feel old. Then she walked over to Zack and Marigold as Adrian offered for him to take the evidence with him and said "Zack, Marigold, Psych. Look I'm sorry I took out my frustrations on you guys. I know I should of been able to reign in the beast that is my temper but my fatigue and soreness got the best of me."
As for Zaan she was beginning to think that prison wasn't the best place for the man either. Sure he had caused a lot of pain and suffering but he had his memories altered by someone unknown. Looking at Zack she then said "Perhaps Zaan can get the mental treatment he desperately needs. Zack you could say that he had a mental break so they can send him to the appropriate facility. I agree with Yasuo and Yuudai. I don't know if prison is necessarily the best place for him. He was being manipulated after all." Yes leave it to Stacy to revert to her compassionate nature once things had calmed down. The trick was how would Zack respond?
Stacy then said her goodbyes to Shi, Yasuo, Yuudai, Zack, and Marigold before walking with Adrian, Shoutmon, and Psych back to AEGIS Headquarters. She said nothing the whole trip as they arrived back. When the brothers were reunited she smiled and headed to her room to give them their moment. Seeing Speed so happy to be reunited with his brother was worth everything they had to go through to rescue him.

Zack accepted the flashdrive into his gloved hand and gave a small nod to Adrian. No matter what anyone else though about his stance on things, no one would question his ability to see the right kind of justice done. He tucked the drive into his back pocket, took in a deep breath and sighed.
"Be better, Psych. You got the kind of second chance most people will never even sniff at. Whatever comes next. Be better." Zack said. It was a simple thing. No more admonishment. He would never agree with the call Psych had made, their relationship was never going to be the same as it once was, maybe it would never get any better than it was right now but Zack needed the last thing Psych heard from him to be a reminder.
As for Stacy and Yasuo's calls on the whole thing, they might be a tad surprised when Zack simply nodded in direct agreement with them from moment one.
"Of course he needs mental help. Unfortunately in the state he's in he's having a total, violent break with reality. The best chance he has at getting the help he needs is getting remanded to a psychiatric facility which he is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT going to be if he spouts off even a quarter of this crap in front of a court. I'm a vigilante, I don't trust the system as far as I can throw it, unfortunately the system is the best chance he's got. I'm sure a jury of his peers will make the same call we're making, especially if this file holds even a snippet of his actual thoughts and feelings thus far. I'm not a templar, people, crime and punishment is not one size fits all, executioner style." He said, allowing himself one more sharp look up in Psych's direction, another reminder of the mistake he had almost made.
The vigilantes, as was their want, vanished into the dark the second the group got outside, one moment the group was walking with the pair, the next they had moved into an alleyway with a sidestep and vanished from view. The next any of the group knew of it Zaan had been gently dropped off with local police. The news coverage of his trial, conservative and private as was Japanese standard did say that the insanity plea he had entered had been accepted by the court. Only online conspiracy boards made any mention of his sudden appearance at a local police station though~
