"Yeah, awful lotta oddballs on this...I want to call it a globe but I actually don't know if the Digital World's flat, round, or just so big that nobody's figured it out yet. It's probably round given the sun rises and sets." The ebon lizard hummed. Mused. Thought. "Best not to dwell on either of those. Anyways. It's either a Betsumon or something equivalently stupid, because the...whole sequence of events feels way too chaotic to be a coordinated heist. It took nearly...what? Ten? Fifteen minutes for anyone to come in here...It feels sloppy. So something more's going on here." "Oh, easy. Lowland Hysteria, or just plain old hysterics." Roche shrugged. He did sort of see why En-En would be a little bit upset. "I know you don't really care, that's okay. I wouldn't either. I'd defend myself as necessary. If I have an objective and the people standing in the way are people that are parroting the arguments of children as if they were gospel, then I don't see why I should bother with them when I have literally a million better things to do, you know? Also! While it remains a terrible thing they attacked your sister? She also managed to avoid the attempt to defenestrate her. So that warrants some merit for her too."As for the Snowflake Shuffle? "Hopefully. Honestly, whether or not we keep going immediately depends on how we resolve this whole thing. I know they seem to have found the people behind this stuff, but it's an entire derailed train...At the very least, you're good company to talk to. Please do not let anyone ever tell you otherwise." The yellow-eyed triceratops sighed, before he looked to Marina and nodded. "Nobody with a hammer, and the fancy attacks are flying...I'm more wondering if I should even intervene. There's three perfects, and I haven't quite gotten the hang of throwing mine out there just yet. Lady Gihai should at least have that overgrown flower bed down quick. What with her strange capability to actually erode anything she hits' defenses."
You know. That passive ability she has. Speaking of Gihai, where she was was in the midst of a clusterfuck. Sakura appeared to have gravely miscalculated her ability to handle the walking dead mon and had gotten injured pretty badly as a result, but Gihai's own attack had managed to nick him in the shoulder. Huh. "It doesn't matter what you are, Stone, actions speak louder!" Gihai yelled as she was confronted with a Blossomon. Overgrown bag of weeds. See, his choice of attack wasn't really important to Gihai given she -had- no shielding attacks. To hold the piercing property was to inherently weaken one's attacking ability in order to bypass shields. She flat out charged INTO the attack and past it, her Assault Balancer whipping about and stabbing for the Blossomon as a basic attack, before Gihai attempted to unleash a blast from the cannons at her chest--Atomic Blaster. The move every WarGrowlmon worth their salt knows. And it was pointed -right- for Blossomon. Despite the nasty looking cuts, it seemed as if Gihai was more than prepared to try taking the ultimate down swiftly. And please, do keep her passives in mind here. Every hit counts.
Relevant Passives: Toxic Love [Passive]: She just keeps doing it. She can't keep getting away with it. Every attack of Gihai's inflicts a stack that reduces her foe’s defenses by 8%, capping at 40%/5 stacks. If no stacks are added for two posts, the number begins to go down by one for every post. Also, she can only inflict one stack at a time.
Assault Balancer [Passive]: The cable at the back of Megalo Growlmon’s head is not for show. It’s a weapon that’s just as deadly as the rest of this form. Every two posts, it swings and extends itself to slash at an opponent--as an additional attack with the force of a 0 post cooldown on top of whatever else Gihai is doing that turn.
Zealot [Passive]: Every three turns, Gihai forces a cooldown of hers to go down an additional post.
Pandora’s Box {RAM Upgrade - Passive]: All debuffs inflicted by this Digimon cannot be shortened. It takes two usages of a cleansing move to get rid of a debuff she inflicts.
So Gihai tanks the hell out of Blossomon's attack, sustaining considerable damage. In response, she activates Assault Balance to try using that wire thing on her back to attack Blossomon, before following it up with Atomic Blaster. If either hit, a stack of Toxic Love is applied to reduce Blossomon's defense by 8%. If Atomic Blaster itself hits, then the attack ALSO lower's Blossomon's defense by 50% for two turns. Atomic Blaster: The signature attack of this species of Digimon, Megalo Growlmon charges up twin lasers from her chest, before she fires them at her foe with extreme prejudice! This attack is not only kind of deadly to get hit by, but it also wears away at the composition of the foe, weakening their defense by 50% for the next two turns. Four post cooldown. See? Says so here! Active Cooldowns: Shield of the Just - 1/4 Assault Balancer - 0/2 Atomic Blaster - 0/4

It was fairly hard for En-En to not heave a sigh for what felt like the thousandth time already. “Fair enough.” She conceded. Despite her disdain towards the situation she had previously experienced, it would be unbecoming of her to throw away a reasonable position on the grounds of being annoyed alone. “Marina is a good girl; of course she can take care of herself just fine. But she’s also my responsibility as the older sister, you know? I wouldn’t be able to look at our… mother with a straight face if I stood in the face of such disrespect with an idle expression.”
A weird kind of duty, for sure. And not one Marina minded all that much, in all honesty; who could be opposed to being the spoiled younger sister? However. “You’re taking it way too seriously, En-En-nee.” The Tutomon said, not yanking her gaze away from the fight that was happening a couple dozen meters away from them. “Even if that human wasn’t precisely feeling in a collaborative mood, I’ll eventually find somebody who’ll tell me what I want to know. I always do.” There was an eerie note on the otherwise cheerful statement, but at the very least the Weathermon didn’t seem to mind. “I like how Gihai fights, though. Seeing the whole situation as of right now, I have little doubt she’d have beaten the Stone guy if it had come to a fight between the two of them.”
Observation’s aside, En-En’s mood lightened as conversation progressed. “Hopefully, everything will be taken care of soon enough. Not exactly in a hurry, but not a fan of sitting idly here; at least the company is making it somewhat bearable.”
There wasn’t much else to add in the present situation. Well, except for when Marina piped up after another observation of all the ongoing fights. “No demons or infected grain anywhere to be seen, either. I think no purges are going to happen, at least this time around.”
Sides, it’d be fairly weird if random humans would become zombies, right?

On the train, Sakura quickly came to after Adrian used his Regenerate card, wincing as she sat herself up. She was confused as to why she was back in the train car, but upon seeing Adrian holding the card he’d just scanned and feeling the pain in her body slowly disappear, she figured out the gist of it. “Heh, I guess this probably makes us even now, doesn't it? Thanks, man.”
Despite still being healed by the Regenerate card’s effect, Sakura decided to speed the process along, using her Synthesis ability to heal herself further with her stored solar energy. The Lillymon quickly made her way back outside, determined to be a lot more careful this time. Little did she know that Mint had secretly followed after her, not wanting to be left behind again. Outside the train, Linus was surprised that Stone was actually able to hold back his axe, and even rip it out of the MadLeomon’s hand. His surprise quickly shifted into anger, however, as the bandit leader growled at his opponent. “Fine, then. Whatever you want to call yourself, you’re still going to die! Tyrant’s Fist!”
With a single punch, the MadLeomon fired off a roaring lion’s head of pure darkness aimed right at his GulusGammamon foe. Even separated from his battleaxe, Linus was till no slouch when it came to raw power, as his muscular physique made quite clear.
Meanwhile, Blossomon reacted to Gihai’s Assault Balancer by literally bending over backwards to duck under the incoming cable. Having vines for a body did wonder’s for one’s flexibility after all. However, merely ducking wouldn’t be enough to dodge Gihai’s follow-up attack. Blossomon wailed as the MegaloGrowlmon’s lasers seared his beautiful body, corroding his skin and leaving his vibrant petals in burnt tatters. The flower Digimon moaned in despair at his disfigurement, along with the feeling of the burns eroding away at his body. Now extremely pissed by what Gihai did to him, Blossomon was ready to return the favor.
“Oh, you like dealing with corrosive poisons, do you? Well, let’s see how YOU like it! Venom Darts!” The Blossomon growled out, before he unleashed a barrage of poison-tipped thorns right at Gihai, which would end up partially paralyzing the MegaloGrowlmon if they hit.
Nearby, Ganemon panicked as CrysPaledramon just tanked his Coin Shooter like it was nothing. As the icy dragon charged in with his counterattack, knocking Ganemon backward from the sheer force of the blow. Getting back on his feet, Ganemon knew he’d need to resort to drastic measures to have a chance at beating this dragon.
He mentally steeled himself and opened his briefcase, dumping large amounts of his accumulated wealth directly into his mouth. As he ate all the money, the Ganemon quickly grew in size until he towered over CrysPaledramon. Finishing his impromptu meal with a burp, the jumbo-sized Ganemon sternly gazed down at CrysPaledramon and cracked his knuckles.
MadLeomon: -Feral Might (passive): Linus' raw strength allows him to deal 30% more damage than usual with his attacks. -Tyrant's Fist: MadLeomon punches the air, sending a dark burst of energy in the form of a snarling lion's head at his opponent.
Ganemon: -Coin Shooter: Ganemon's briefcase turns into a gatling gun that fires coins instead of bullets. 1 post CD. (1/1) -Investment Mode: Ganemon absorbs a large amount of his gathered money, growing to massive size and increasing his attack and defense by 100% each for three turns. Due to how expensive this move is to use, it can only be used once per thread. (Duration 0/3)
Blossomon: -Spiral Flowers: Blossomon flings the miniature flowers on his vines ay hisopponent like a bunch of shurikens. The flower petals are sharp enough to cut through most Ultimate-level shields. 3 post CD, full piercing. (1/3) -Venom Darts: Blossomon launches poison-tipped thorns at his opponent. Aside from dealing damage, the paralytic poison causes the enemy to feel sluggish, reducing their speed and evasion by 25% each for three turns. 5 turn CD (1 for damage, 4 for the debuff effect).
Sakura: -Synthesis: Sakura absorbs sunlight to heal a moderate amount of damage to herself. 3 post cooldown. (0/3)

"Whatever is going on, I'm sure the others out there can fill us in when they get back," Adrian said. He wished he could be there for his partner and for Gem... or rather Stone, as he was calling himself now. He hated being useless, being stuck in this train with a broken leg waiting for someone to come and get him, and Horus would most likely be able to sense that coming from him. Then Stone came back onto the train, dropping off an injured Sakura before heading back out. Adrian's healing card seemed to do wonders, quickly regaining consciousness after Adrian used the card on her. She took one look at Adrian and immediately pieced together what happened, thanking the human in the process. "Don't mention it. I'm just glad Stone had at least some kind of heart to bring you back here."
It didn't take long after that for Sakura to recover more and head back out to the fight. But after she left, Adrian had noticed Mint following her outside. "Wait, Mint, come back!" Adrian said, but it was too late. Feeling like he had no options left, Adrian turned towards his black Shoutmon companion. "Horus, you gotta go after Mint, it's too dangerous for him out there!"
Meanwhile, things were heating up outside during the fight. Stone had succeeded in pissing Linus off when he threw his axe away like that, deciding to deliver an attack of pure darkness right towards Stone. While a normal Digimon would've tried to dodge or block this attack, Stone decided to take it head-on, flying straight through it as he dashed towards the MadLeomon. He still sustained the full amount of damage, but Stone was really good at hiding his pain.Besides, it was worth it when he got up close and personal with Linus. He grabbed the MadLeomon by the throat, clutching it tight enough so that he couldn't breathe before dashing upwards into the air with him. Both hands were grasping tightly at Linus's throat. "All you care about is money. You don't care about the innocent getting hurt in the slightest, they could all die as long as it makes you rich." Stone chuckled as he lifted his tail close to Linus's eye. "And unfortunately for you, I'm also as apathetic to whether or not Digimon like you remain alive. You call me a hero, but if being a hero means I let scumbags like you continue walking around... well, then I guess I don't really want to be a hero."
"It doesn't matter what you are, Stone, actions speak louder!"
Those words suddenly played back in Stone's mind. Gihai was right... words and titles meant nothing. Which meant now he was going to do what he should've done from the start. Stone's tail moved away from Linus's eye, most likely giving him a false sense of security before that same tail suddenly jabbed right into the MadLeomon's side. "Dead-End Skewer!"
While that was happening, CrysPaledramon watched as the Ganemon opened his briefcase and ate all the money inside, causing him to grow and grow to the point where he towered over CrysPaledramon. The icy dragon's eyes widened in response. "Oh crapsticks..." CrysPaledramon muttered. As surprised as he was, however, that didn't mean he didn't already have a solution in mind. "Glacier Break!"
CrysPaledramon immediately fired a blast of cold energy at the embiggened Ganemon, freezing him in a solid block of ice. He then began flying around the frozen Digimon at a lightning fast pace, repeatedly slashing at them with his claws before dealing one final slash that would break the ice casing around Ganemon and deal an immense amount of damage altogether. Stone takes the full force of Linus's "Tyrant's Fist" attack before grabbing him in a choke-hold and using "Dead-End Skewer" on him.
Moves
Dead-End Skewer: When up close and personal, Stone pierces the enemy with the tip of his tail right at what he assumes to be their weak point, doing a massive amount of internal damage. Cooldown is three posts.
Passives
Embrace the Darkness (Combat Passive): Stone has fully embraced his dark side and is done being the nice guy by this point. All of Gem's moves have their attack boosted by 50%! To offset this, his evasion is reduced by 20%, as he really doesn't care if he gets hit as long as he can hurt his opponents even more.
Cooldowns -Dark Pales (2/2) Ready to use!
CrysPaledramon uses "Glacier Break" on the powered-up Ganemon.
Moves
Glacier Break: This attack has three steps. The first step: CrysPaledramon fires a beam at the target to encase them in ice. The second step: he flies around the ice-encased Digimon and repeatedly slashes them with his claws from all angles. The third step: he delivers one final slash that not only breaks the ice encasement, but delivers one more powerful deal of damage to the target. Cooldown is four posts.
Passives
Stay Cool (Combat Passive): Thanks to his new armor and the icicles implanted on his wings, the power of CrysPaledramon's ice attacks is boosted by 30%.
Cooldowns -Callous Dimension (2/3) -Frozen Claw (1/1) Ready to use!

Horus had fallen silent as Sakura had come back and was quickly deposited, but...even he could notice that Mint was following along when clearly, he would not be able to keep up. "No need to tell me twice." He told Adrian, hoisting his 'mace' upon his shoulder as he darted after. Once out of the train, he called after Mint! "Hey, it's not safe out here for you. Get back in the train!" ...Would he listen to reason? Horus doubted it. He wished otherwise, but he really doubted it.
Okay, Roche felt like he could at least understand where they were coming from. "It was a really flagrant expression of disrespect, even if one could argue that distress was a primary motivator. Really weird that a Tutomon wanting answers is the most offensive thing in the room when a Gulus spouting heresy is there." There was a pause from the Gammamon as he took a brief breath. He didn't weigh in on whether or not Gihai would win in that hypothetical. He had seen her fight. The Guilmon was stubborn. She'd win through that. "Has...demons and infected grains happened before?"
Gihai was, as expected, successful in her gambits here, namely angering the Blossomon as well as rendering him all the closer to being dealt with. Gihai would tense her legs, and leapt into the air, over the barrage of thorns as the MegaloGrowlmon flipped around, blades pointed down as she attempted to perform Double Edge. With a small twist, in that she was essentially coming down from above. The Blossomon's insult also meant very little if he couldn't even get the terminology right. Ergo, it was not worth the time to respond to it. If he can't see how that was wrong? Then he'd pay in his eyes, easy.
Gihai uses Zealot to force Atomic Blaster to cool down an additional post. She also jumps over the attack launched by Blossomon and retaliates on the way down with Double Edge! Double Edge: Twin slashes with the axe arms, power crackling through them. If the opponent is under a debuff, this attack will ignore shields! Two post cooldown. Active Cooldowns: Shield of the Just - 2/4 Assault Balancer - 1/2 Atomic Blaster - 2/4 Double Edge - 0/2

In the end, En-En just sighed, then shrugged. She had already gotten her point across, so there was not much else to say, at least when it came to that regard. Saying anything else in a situation like this one was more or less repeating herself; as far as she was concerned, most things to be said were already said, for better or worse.
Instead, she focused on the next remark; it was a bit of an oddity, for sure, but not something entirely out of the realm of possibility, as far as the Digital World goes. “I wouldn’t be surprised if it had.” The Weathermon answered, not so sure of those words herself. “It doesn’t sound really plausible, but considering the breadth of things that happen in this world, it’s not impossible. It’d be a fairly nefarious plot, though. Brainwashing civilians in order for their desiccated and lifeless bodies to follow your every command? I can probably conjure a less tacky plan in five minutes or so. Some people just have a flair for the dramatic, I guess.”
It was only then when Marina saw the small Terriermon following behind and into the fight. “That’s quite the recipe for disaster! It’s bound to make the plot thicken by quite a bit! I just hope that the small bunny doesn’t feel bad for being dead weight and the consequences that it usually carries!” After a pause, however, she added. “Think he’s gonna be okay?”

CrysPaledramon's Glacier Break would end up working perfectly, with Ganemon visibly panicking within the block of ice he was trapped in. While CrsyPaledramon's follow-up blows would break the ice, Ganemon wouldn't be able to capitalize on his freedom due to falling flat on his back. The coin Digimon muttered to himself as he got to his feet, taking his hat off and pulling a whistle out of it. Once blown, the whistle would summon a swarm of Zenimon and Kozenimon that would all move to trample CrysPaledramon under a stampede while Ganemon watched with a smug smirk on his face.
Meanwhile, Blossomon's jaw dropped as the bulky MegaloGrowlmon somehow leaped over his Venom Darts with ease before tearing into the stunned Plant Digimon with her arm blades. "Ack, my face! My beautiful face!"
The Blossomon quickly backpedaled and dug his roots deep into the soil to try and regenerate. He sighed in relief as he felt his roots sucking up nutrients from the rich forest soil, his new lacerations starting to slowly close before everyone's eyes. "Ah, that's so much better! I would look absolutely hideous if those cuts ended up scarring!"
Not that that relief would last very long, either, as that was the moment Sakura made her triumphant return to the battlefield... by descending from the air and dropkicking Blossomon in his stupid face, before backflipping away from the viney Digimon and gracefully landing next to Gihai. "Care for some assistance pruning this weed?"
"Yeah! Go get him, Sis!" Mint cheered, sticking his head out of a nearby bush, only for the Terriermon to pop back inside the bush in fright when Blossomon turn his gaze toward him. Blossomon stretched out a vine and snatched the poor kid right out of the bush and pulled him towards the plant Digimon's face.
"Oh, what do we have here~?" Blossomon asked in a sing-song tone as he swayed Mint to and fro.
The sight of her little brother in this guy's grasp instantly made Sakura see red. "Put. Him. Down. Now."
"No... I don't think I will." Blossomon smugly replied. "After all, you can't hurt me without risking hurting this little fella as well, now can you?"
Finally, Stone's Dead-End Skewer managed to hit it's target dead-on, the GulusGammamon's barbed tail digging painfully into Linus's side. The Madleomon ended up coughing up blood due to the injury, but didn't seem concerned. Rather, his bloody mouth twisted upward, into a rather predatory grin as he grabbed onto Stone's tail with both hand and ripped it out of his body.
"No, I can see that I misjudged you. I can see it in your eyes. You're no hero at all, but a true predator like me. Hell, you might actually manage to kill me! And we both know you'd enjoy every second of it." Linus stated, his voice both calm and spine-chilling at the same time. "Heh, if I die, then so be it. Just know that I won't go down without a fight. If you want to beat me, I'm gonna make you BLEED for it!"
With that, Linus took the tail in his grip and bit down on it with as much force as he could bear. The MadLeomon's goal was to try and bite the barbed tip of Stone's tail clean off. And with his powerful jaws, the Madleomon might actually be able to pull it off.
MadLeomon: -Feral Might (passive): Linus' raw strength allows him to deal 30% more damage than usual with his attacks. -Feral Fang: MadLeomon bites his foe with as much strength as he can muster, doing severe damage in the process. 3 post CD. (0/3)
Ganemon: -Investment Mode: Ganemon absorbs a large amount of his gathered money, growing to massive size and increasing his attack and defense by 100% each for three turns. Due to how expensive this move is to use, it can only be used once per thread. (Duration 1/3) -Zeni Stampede: Ganemon summons a swarm of Zenimon and KoZenimon to go forth and trample their target. 2 post CD.
Blossomon: -Spiral Flowers: 2/3 -Venom Darts: 1/5 -Taking Root: Blossomon absorbs nutrients from the soil with his roots in order to heal himself over 3 turns (healing rate: 1-post CD's worth of damage each turn). 4 post CD. (Duration 0/3)
Sakura: -Synthesis: 2/3

Oh boy, there was a lot to unpack here. First, CrysPaledramon had to deal with his Ganemon menace. His Glacier Break attack worked flawlessly, dealing the coin Digimon great damage in the process. Naturally, CrysPaledramon would've thought that this would be the attack that defeated Ganemon. Of course, this was simply wishful thinking as when Ganemon got back up, he pulled a whistle out of his hat. After Ganemon blew into it, CrysPaledramon would find himself facing against a tidal wave swarm of Zenimon and Kozenimon. "Oh, COME ON!" CrysPaledramon yelled out loud, more than fed up with this Digimon's bull crap by this point. Just seeing the Ganemon's smug smirk gave the ice dragon the need to punch the dumb coin's face in. Activating the thrusters on his wings, CrysPaledramon would be able to fly above the Zenimon and Kozenimon swarm, facing right back at Ganemon as he flew towards the coin. "I've had enough of you! Icy Javelin!" He summoned a giant ice pillar in mid air and shot it right at the smirking Ganemon at point blank range. Then there was Stone and Linus. Stone's tail scabbard successfully pierced through the MadLeomon's side, injuring the fiend to the point that he'd start coughing up blood. But Linus... he was still smiling. He grabbed onto Stone's tail and yanked it out of his side, saying that Stone truly was a predator just like he was. And just like that, Linus probably committed his final stupid act of his life: he bit down on Stone's tail, right where barbed tip was. "AAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!"
Well, Linus got what he wanted. The end of Stone's tail had been bitten clean off, which a bunch of blood (liquid or digital, depending on the level of censorship) coming from the injury, the hook landing on the ground right below them. Stone had never felt this much pain before in his short life, and it was for this very reason that the look on his face was even more terrifying than before. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Stone yelled as he forced open Linus's mouth and shoved his fist in it. "Just for that, you'll get what you fucking deserve. FIRE DRILL!"
If this attack was successful, the fire drill itself would form right inside of Linus's stomach. The spinning, hot and raw firepower of the attack would be an intense and agonizing pain for the MadLeomon unlike anything he had experienced before. "You wanna keep being a punk? Then the pain's just going to get worse, pal."
CrysPaledramon flies over the "Zeni Swarm" attack and strikes at Ganemon with "Icy Javelin."Moves
Icy Javelin: CrysPaledramon creates a floating giant ice pillar with a sharp spear-like point in midair. He then immediately shoots it forward at the target at a high speed, doing piercing damage. Cooldown is two posts.
Passives
Stay Cool (Combat Passive): Thanks to his new armor and the icicles implanted on his wings, the power of CrysPaledramon's ice attacks is boosted by 30%.
Cooldowns -Callous Dimension (3/3) Ready to use! -Glacier Break (1/4) -Icy Javelin (0/2)
Stone takes the full damage from Linus's "Feral Fang" attack, before delivering a "Fire Drill" attack of his own right down Linus's throat as payback. Moves
Fire Drill: Stone conjures up a spinning drill make out of dark flames before shooting it outward towards his opponent, doing piercing damage. Cooldown is three posts.
Passives Embrace the Darkness (Combat Passive): Stone has fully embraced his dark side and is done being the nice guy by this point. All of Stone's moves have their attack boosted by 50%! To offset this, his evasion is reduced by 20%, as he really doesn't care if he gets hit as long as he can hurt his opponents even more.
Cooldowns -Fire Drill (0/3) -Dead End Skewer (1/3) No Longer Useable

"Why yes, the assistance would be appreciate-" Oh, that IDIOT. That Terriermon somehow let hype get the better of him and he had gotten TAKEN HOSTAGE. The violence had escalated in equivalent proportions to the chaos, as what arrived upon the battle was not a BlackShoutmon, but a DarkKnightmon. In the middle of his chasing Mint, Horus had warp digivolved. Kinda like how Impmon in Tamers did that one time before he went Blast Mode. "Yet, if you harm him...Far worse than what happened to your accomplices will befall you." Horus spoke, his voice rolling like thunder across the plains. Regardless, the arrival of a black knight was not lost on Roche. "To answer that question? No. Not as he is right now. I'm sorry to leave, but...I feel like I might be needed. En-En, I hope we get to talk again sometime. You've a...regal presence. And your sister's dedication towards discovering truth is admirable."The words of a fucking simp, probably. But he legitimately did enjoy speaking to them. Roche hopped up as a sphere of darkness enveloped him...before it shattered, revealing another GulusGammamon. Yet, this one touted orange stripes rather than purple. As he promptly flew towards Horus and Gihai's side, he was encased in another orb! And it shattered just as quickly, revealing... A dragon, red, white and blue. That quickly flew up and hopefully out of sight. Yeah. The author's that strapped for descriptors. "...Like it or not, you're effectively at a stalemate. And if you thought I was tough to fight, you've now got my team in front of you and the kid's sister. I don't think it takes a genius to know what a furious Digimon's capable of, so you're either gonna leave the kid out of this or I'm gonna disfigure you so badly even Cherrymon's not gonna recognize you when you get back to whatever corner of the Village you came the fuck out of. And not even the murder dinosaur or his dad'll be able to save you from me, Blossomon."...Gihai may have been trying to stall, for right at that moment? Roche, now CanoWeissmon, gave one beat of his wings. Time for the sky to fall! As the sky turned black for a moment, stars began to descend as meteors, aimed for three targets. Linus. Ganemon. And Blossomon. If friendly fire was an issue, then it wasn't--for if Mint were to be used as a shield, the blast from the meteors would not harm him. The Terriermon was viewed as an ally, so he would be spared the wrath of the meteors! ...Maybe not Blossomon himself, though.
Gihai's Passives: Toxic Love [Passive]: She just keeps doing it.
Horus' Passives: Malice [Passive]: DarkKnightmon’s attacks all deal 30% more damage.
Unholy Will [Passive]: DarkKnightmon recovers 5% of his overall health with each turn. His will is iron. And you, are dirt.
Roche's Passives: Killer Queen [Passive]: Every three turns, CanoWeissmon is able to charge an attack to leave a 'mark' upon an enemy they struck. When up to two turns have passed since the mark's application, or anywhere between the application and the end of the two turns, Roche makes a gesture akin to setting a detonator off.
The mark explodes. The afflicted at the center. Heavy damage of the cosmic variety.
Will of ElDoradimon [Passive]: Friendly fire is flat out impossible for CanoWeissmon. He just cannot hurt his allies.
Knight [Passive]: CanoWeissmon’s basic attacks deal the same amount of damage as a 0 post cooldown attack.
Relevant actions: Horus arrives, having digivolved to DarkKnightmon. Roche meanwhile attempts subterfuge and tries bombarding the field with Meteor Lux, enhanced by Deadly Queen. Just Don't Get Hit By That. Also, Mint's spared from friendly fire thanks to Roche's passive preventing such. Because fuck you, Blossomon. Killer Queen [Passive]: Every three turns, CanoWeissmon is able to charge an attack to leave a 'mark' upon an enemy they struck. Meteor Lux: The dragon kicks off into the skies, his wings glowing bright as he gives a single vicious beat that darkens the sky for a moment, twinkling stars dotting the blackness…before they descend as meteors. In a thirty meter diameter. Up to three targets may be affected by this. Three post cooldown. Gihai and Horus are otherwise not doing much for this turn. Well, Gihai's using Zealot to drive up Shield to finishing cooling off... Cooldowns: Gihai: Shield of the Just - 4/4 Assault Balancer - 2/2 Atomic Blaster - 3/4 Double Edge - 1/2 Zealot - 0/3 Horus: lmao Roche: Killer Queen - Pending. Meteor Lux - 0/3.

For the briefest of moments, En-En smirked with satisfaction in Roche’s general direction. “Do what you have to do. Hopefully that’ll lead to this train being functional sooner. Otherwise, we might have to use another means of transportation.” This circumstance has been both unforeseen and annoying. With some luck, these lowlives would be dispatched soon enough and the journey would be able to continue.
On her side, Marina just waved at him with enthusiasm “Take care, Roche! Byebye~!” As the dragon left, she took a look at the situation, and added. “Shouldn’t we help too? This whole deal seems like it’s quite… messy.” Truth to be told, the hostage situation taking place muddled the whole deal greatly; a quick resolution was probably out of the table, unless drastic action was taken, which increased the overall risk.
“Want to be taken like that Terriermon? At our strength, we’d be hindering more than helping.” Her sister spat, obviously not approving of the actions that had ended worsening the situation. “What’s more; unlike the rabbit, chances are that rescuing any of us would be off the table, given how most of the group pronounced themselves regarding us. Or did you forget how you almost got ejected from the train over a triviality? We don’t owe them anything.”
The Tutomon looked at the situation with worry; even without the caustic comment, the fact that they’d do more harm than good was more than clear in this situation. Still. “Oh, come on~.” She, added, her tone already taking a teasing note. “I’m sure Roche would run on your aid if anything happened to you.”
The Weathermon was taken off-guard by that comment. Her cheeks flushed with a very faint red as her sister grinned from ear to sure. “Shut up.”
Still, the fight continued, how would the situation proceed?

Due to his current size, Ganemon had no way to feasibly dodge CrysPaledramon’s Icy Javelin, causing the jumbo-sized coin to be knocked flat on his back once again.
With Linus and Stone, Stones Fire Drill did exactly as expected, utterly decimating the MadLeomon’s innards to the point that the MadLeomon was almost incapacitated from the pain.
Seeing their allies in trouble, a pair of hidden observers decided that it was time for them to step in. One of them, a Fuumamon, leaped unpward to aid the heavily-wounded Linus by moving between him and smacking Stone away with his tail as he caught Linus on the way down. “If you want to lay another hand on Master Linus, you’ll have to get through me first.”
“Took you… long enough, moron.” Linus struggled to get out, as Fuumamon gently laid the wounded MadLeomon onto the ground.
As the Meteor Lux attack rained down upon the battlefield, Ganemon and Blossomon were both unable to move out of the way and were hit by the meteors (with Mint somehow not being harmed, despite the fact that the meteors should have crushed him as well). Combined with the damage from the Icy Javelin, this would prove to be all that Ganemon could take, shrinking back down tinto a mere Zenimon as he was knocked out. Linus would be spared from the meteors due to Fuumamon pulling his boss out of the way, but the MadLeomon was likely not going to be fighting again any time soon.
Blossomon, on the other hand, wasn’t quite down yet. The viney Digimon was getting seriously pissed off right now, and decided that he wasn’t gonna take this anymore. “Hmph, 4 on 1? Hardly a fair fight. Normally, I hate doing this since it means ruining my dashing good looks, but you know what? I’ll make an exception this time to even the odds. Blossomon… Shinka!”
Numerous vines burst out of the ground and wrapped themselves around Blossomon, growing into the massive form of a snarling Hydramon, acidic saliva dripping from its maws while it still held onto Mint with a single vine. “Screw the heist! I’ll just turn the lot of you into my dinner!”
"Oh, crap." Sakura muttered under her breath. Despite this, she was still determined to save her brother, so she fired off a Flower Cannon at her opponent... which basically did nothing due to the fact she was just a Champion attacking a Mega.
This action drew Hydramon's attention onto the Lillymon. "Looks like this little lady wants to go first! How pathetic."
While Blossomon was digivolving, the other hidden figure, a Bombermon, snuck around and set a treaded bomb on the ground. The bomb slowly, but surely, made its way towards Gihai while buzzing like an RC car so that it could detonate upon reaching the MegaloGrowlmon (leaving an unusual, bomb-shaped mark stamped upon the MegaloGrowlmon's foot in the process). "Kikiki... That meteor shower may have been a work of art, but this'll surely take your breath away, Shiny! After all, art is an EXPLOSION!" MadLeomon: -Feral Might (passive): Linus' raw strength allows him to deal 30% more damage than usual with his attacks. -Feral Fang: 1/3
Ganemon/Zenimon: RETIRED -Investment Mode: Unuseable (broken by Ganemon being KO'd). -Zeni Stampede: 1/2
Blossomon/Hydramon: -Spiral Flowers: 3/3 -Venom Darts: 2/5 -Taking Root: 0/4
Fuumamon: Used a basic attack on Stone.
Bombermon: -Killer Queen (passive): Once every three turns, Bombermon can leave a Bomb Counter upon any enemy he uses an attack on that turn. This leaves a mark that will explode for heavy damage whenever Bombermon mimes setting off a detonator. He can only apply 1 bomb counter per enemy, but can have multiple foes marked before detonating the bombs all at once. (0/3, applied to Sheer Heart Attack). -IFF tags (passive): Through some sort of ID-tracking technobabble only Bombermon himself understands, his bombs don't hurt his allies when they explode. -Sheer Heart Attack: Bombermon unleashes a bomb on treads that homes in on an enemy and explodes upon reaching them. 3 post CD, increased accuracy.
Sakura: -Synthesis: 3/3 -Flower Cannon: Thrusts both of its arms forward, makes a gun muzzle from the petals on its wrists, and fires an energy shell. 2 post cooldown. (0/2)

CrysPaledramon had to admit... it felt good to land that final attack of his on that Ganemon. The giant coin was just simply too big to dodge such an attack, and with the help of the Meteor Lux from Roche moments later, it helped completely take down the Ganemon, who had reverted back to a Zenimon. And CrysPaledramon couldn't help but make light of the fact that he had defeated a literal money Digimon.
"Looks like you've gone bankrupt, Zenimon."
Meanwhile, Stone had Linus right where he wanted him. The Fire Drill attack had did what it was intended to do, and it messed up the MadLeomon's insides to an unimaginably painful degree. Stone wanted to inflict even more pain onto this asshole, but was interrupted when he felt something sharp hit him. It didn't completely cause him to go prone, but he couldn't lie and say he didn't feel that and was forced to let go of Linus in the process, causing them both to plummet to the ground since they were both airborne.
And it was there that Stone came face-to-face with a Fuumamon, a ninja-like Digimon with a tail almost like Stone's. He seemed confident in the way he defended his "master," stating that Stone would have to go through him if he wanted to get Linus. "Aren't ninjas supposed to have honor or something stupid like that?" Stone asked the Fuumamon. "Or are you the type that just likes to go around and kill Digimon with your fancy weapons? My money's on the latter, considering you call scum like him 'master.' No matter; he's almost dead, anyways." Stone's right arm ignited with black flames. "I'll just kill you before I get to him. Death Demona!"
As quickly as he possibly could, Stone hurled a large ball of black fire right towards both the Fuumamon and Linus, considering that the MadLeomon was currently being carried. If Stone was lucky enough, then Fuumamon wouldn't be able to turn around in time and Linus would get the brunt of the damage. Either way, someone was getting scorched.
With Zenimon down for the count, CrysPaledramon decided to focus his efforts on fighting Blossomon now, who was severely outnumbered. He could see that they were holding onto Mint, so it was his main priority to try and save him. However, Blossomon realized that he was outnumbered, and he decided it was time to evolve to Hydramon, a plant-like monstrous Digimon with three dragon-like heads, still holding onto Mint.
Oh, crap!
Sakura tried to attack, but it was no use seeing as she was a Champion level fighting a Mega. And without Adrian here, with him still in the train car with a broken leg, CrysPaledramon couldn't evolve any higher to give themselves a fighting chance. The most he could do was deal chip damage until some kind of heavy hitter came in.
"Damn it all...! Sub Zero!" CrysPaledramon simply opened his mouth and fired a freezing ice beam right at the Hydramon. Sure, it wouldn't do much, but he had to do something!
KA-BOOM!
A sudden explosion catches CrysPaledramon's attention, while Stone was still focused on fighting Fuumamon. Was that an explosion just now?! The dragon turns around to try and find where the source of that exploding sound came from...
Stone is hit by the Fuumamon's attack, and then responds by using "Death Demona" on either the Fuumamon or Linus, depending on how Fuumamon reacts.
Moves
Death Demona: Stone conjures up a ball of dark flames in his arms before he shoots it out in the form of a powerful blast. Cooldown is one post.
Passives
Embrace the Darkness (Combat Passive): Stone has fully embraced his dark side and is done being the nice guy by this point. All of Stone's moves have their attack boosted by 50%! To offset this, his evasion is reduced by 20%, as he really doesn't care if he gets hit as long as he can hurt his opponents even more.
Cooldowns -Fire Drill (1/3) -Death Demona (0/1)
CrysPaledramon, after having defeated Zenimon, uses "Sub-Zero" on Hydramon.
Moves
Sub-Zero: CrysPaledramon fires a beam of pure cold out of his claws towards his target. Cooldown is one post.
Passives
Stay Cool (Combat Passive): Thanks to his new armor and the icicles implanted on his wings, the power of CrysPaledramon's ice attacks is boosted by 30%.
Cooldowns -Glacier Break (2/4) -Icy Javelin (1/2) -Sub-Zero (0/1)

Post by Based Knight, Gihai! on Apr 23, 2023 4:02:22 GMT
The convenient arrival of reinforcements for Linus' ilk had, unfortunately, turned this into a rather evenly spaced out battle between the people here. Roche was not sure how long he would be able to hold this form--should've been EASY given this was his natural line, but...it felt wrong. Like it could unravel at any point. And, giving Marina's joking some veracity? He'd really hate for En-En to see that. Either way, CanoWeissmon descended to Gihai's side- "Hey, you've got something heading towards you-" He spoke all too late, as Gihai and himself looked down as Sheer Heart Attack, from the critically acclaimed manga series Jojo's Bizarre Adventure by Hirohiko Araki, rolled in, and...exploded. Ow. "...Feels like this is going to make the news at this rate..." Gihai said in dismay as she recuperated, regaining her bearings. They had a lot to deal with, and NONE of them held the capability to match the Blossomon--now Hydramon. So, Gihai looked around in the direction that explosion came from, and...noted a figure behind a tree. Okay. Time to aim there. Gihai simply slammed her foot down as she brought her arms together in a sonorous clang, as she let out numerous arcs of electricity around her to try and target Hydramon and Bombermon. DM's discretion on if Bombermon is close enough to hit. In the meantime, Horus turned his gaze to the shouting that Bombermon just did, reared his arm back...and hurled his lance like a missile. Have fun, Bombermon! Roche meanwhile charged up energy in his maw before he fired it forth--his Gran Nova attack came out in the form of a beam that was aimed right for Hydramon! ...And Mint! Though as with the meteors, Mint would find that the beam did nothing to him. Curious!
Gihai's Passives: Toxic Love [Passive]: She just keeps doing it.
Relevant actions: Let's go Team Gihai! Gihai gets blasted by Sheer Heart Attack, an attack with zero weaknesses! That actually kinda hurts, given she got disoriented for several moments. She retaliates with Megalo Spark, targeting Hydramon and Bombermon! Horus targets Bombermon with Lance of Longinus! Roche fires Gran Nova at Hydramon! Have to try! Megalo Spark: The Digimon brings both arms together as she emits a burst of electricity that affects up to 3 targets around her in a thirty meter radius. This attack grows stronger the lower Gihai’s overall ‘health’ is. Three post cooldown. Lance of Longinus: A foreboding technique, DarkKnightmon’s spear glows an eerie red before he flat out hurls it like a missile at a single target, dealing heavy damage and causing a bleed effect for even more damage over a two post period. Four post cooldown. Gran Nova: CanoWeissmon focuses a vast amount of power into his mouth before he fires forth what may as well be a miniature sun in the form of a fireball at an enemy. Should it make contact, it explodes, dealing high damage and reducing the enemy’s defense for two turns afterwards. Four post cooldown. Countdowns: Killer Queen - 1/2 Cooldowns: Gihai: Atomic Blaster - 4/4 Double Edge - 2/2 Zealot - 1/3 Megalo Spark - 0/3 Horus: Lance of Longinus - 0/4 Roche: Killer Queen - Pending. Meteor Lux - 1/3. Gran Nova - 0/4

Marina leaned against a nearby tree, her arms crossed, and a mischievous grin playing on her lips. She glanced at En-En and raised an eyebrow. “So what? Do we just play spectators?” She remarked, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “It’s weird. Everyone there is fighting in a life-or-death scenario and the two of us are just standing back and enjoying the show.”
En-En rolled her eyes. Marina, being compassionate? Something was amiss, for sure. “It is probably as thrilling as it can be for you. What gives?" she replied dryly.
The Tutomon gestured towards the ongoing fight. “Don’t know.” She made a pause, before producing a strange device, apparently out of thin air. “Oh, got it! We could record this. That way, we can spread the word regarding the valiant acts that took place today. Wouldn’t that be nice? No doubt a great service given to everyone else.”
As things stood, En-En could only sigh at her sister’s antics. “I suppose it is better than just watching. Still, at least for the time being, it seems like the fight is fairly even. But, given enough time, I think that our ‘friends’ will get the upper hand. I can see how the derailers are beginning to get desperate.”
That only served to evoke playful expression from the impromptu filmer of the whole deal. “Wouldn’t that be great? Then we could invite the victors to the premiere of this masterpiece after embellishing a bit. That way, everyone will be able to witness the bravery and heroism that was displayed today. Besides, Roche’s looking pretty dashing right now. Don’t you think so, sister?”
“Shut up.” This was beginning to get old, yet the Weathermon couldn’t avoid feeling a little bit embarrassed at the remark.
