A.J arrives at her new house in Japan along with her parents. After getting unpacked, she sets down to activate her new phone card, which is behaving strangely. She decides to go to bed that night, only to wake up the next morning to find her phone card replaced by a strange device. Her father gives her a D-Terminal, which he explains as some new hi-tech toy all the kids are playing with. After receiving a strange text with a sprite of a Nyaromon asking her if she was "ready to find me," she sets out using the arrows the D3 provides to find what she is supposed to be looking for.

A.J. follows the spinning arrow on her Digivice until she arrives as Cat Street. There she meets a Spirit Wielder, Jimmy, and another tamer, Haruna. Inside of the alley where her Digivice is leading her to is a group of cats that will not allow her to enter. However, a rogue Hawkmon with a strange arm in a holosuit comes up and joins them. The cats seem to take a liking to him and they come out of the alleyway long enough for A.J. to go in and find her Digiegg. Once she has it, she exits the alleyway where the other three boys are. The Hawkmon tries to convince the group of kids that they should go hunt Digimon for him so he can get some data and even throws in that her "baby" can have some to grow. A.J. declines and says goodbye to the other boys and returns home.

A.J. returns home with her new YukimiBotamon in hand. When she makes it back to her room, she is very uncertain what to do with the little white blob, so she figures she could at least feed him. After getting them both some food, she goes to sleep. Then next day she is awoken to a pain in her arm and a green cat-like creature in the place of YukimiBotamon. When the Nyaromon goes to strike again, she blocks, accidently making him bounce on the floor and making him hurt himself. She quickly rushes to the bathroom to "patch him up" where she ends up dubbing his "Patch." She also discovers that he can speak and he is now a Nyaromon, whereas he was a YukimiBotamon until he was fed. He also explains that they are now partners.
out and about
A.J. and her father make a trip to the 104 A. East area for a trip to the shopping mall, of course, her life is anything but ordinary. Patch senses a Digimon and runs off, leaving A.J. to chase his tail. They are cornered by some Gazimon and Patch is too overpowered. However, Terra Burken and Megan Korlif come to their rescue. Patch digivolves into a Mikemon and is able to beat some of the Gazimon
set the night to music
AJ performs her first concert in Japan at a small cafe on Cat Street. After the performance, she is confronted by two tamers and their Digimon partners, Tatsuya and Dorimon and Ryouta and Babydmon. They go outside into an alleyway to get to know each other. The tamers talk about their pasts and how they met their partners, with Tatsuya translating between Ryouta and AJ until Ryouta discovers a translation app on his phone. The Digimon decide to have a spar of sorts. At first, it starts out just being Patch and Dorimon playing, but Babydmon joins the fray and digivolves to his Rookie form, Dracomon. The fight becomes a bit more serious and while Dracomon tries to sort of protect Dorimon, the in-training does not appreciate this. The fighting becomes a little too much for the younger Digimon and he is knocked out. They decide that the fight is a tie. The tamers speak a little more then part ways.
have faith in meAJ goes to a concert with Patch. When waiting in line, Patch senses a Digimon and runs off to face it. AJ chases after Patch relunctantly. She finds him up in the rafters of the concert hall facing off against a Goblimon. After quite a bit of fighting, it seems that Patch is going to lose until AJ realizes that they are a team and she has to have faith in him in order for them to win. She gains her Digimental of Faith and Patch is able to digivolve into Angemon to protect her. The Goblimon runs away and he takes AJ home.
AJ begins her first day of school. At lunch time, she looks for a place to eat since she doesn't know anyone. She finds a young boy, Hiro playing his with Digimon partner, a Dorumon, who he refers to as Tetsu. She shows him Patch, who is in in-training form, and this puts Hiro at ease. The two young Digimon play, but they are soon interrupted by a very distraught girl, Carrie. She says that their Digimon are a figment of her imagination, however, her cellphone becomes a Digivice that neither AJ nor Hiro was very familiar with. She only knows that it belongs to people who are called "Spirit Wielders" Although the two tamers try to help Carrie out, she is very distraught and leaves as the lunch bell rings. AJ is left by Hiro with a smile and she returns to her classes.
rocky relationships
AJ is relaxing one day at home when she receives a call from Carrie frantically asking her to come to her house. She arrives with Patch in tow to discover that Hiro, the boy she met on the roof her first day at school, and his partner, Tetsu, another Dorimon, are also there. They also find that Carrie has transformed into a Digimon herself! A Gotsumon to be exact. They figure out that she is a Spirit Wielder and even speak to the Gotsumon who seems to have some control of Carrie. They decide to depart to the old abandoned high school to help her learn how to fight and hopefully get back to normal.
my sister's world
AJ is leaving school one day when she see's a familiar friend, Tatsuya. She approaches him, asking him what he is doing there. Another girl, Aria, is there as well. AJ introduces herself. As the three are talking, Dorimon makes himself known and they go into the music room to explain. While in there, AJ and Aria both play instruments, but are surprised to find a Digimon in the corner of the room that turns into a Digitama. Aria finds this to be her partner. Aria explains her predicament with her parents, in which they expect both her and her sister to be perfect. Her sister and she have grown very far apart and this bothers Aria, but she also suspects her sister to also have a partner. The two older teen's comfort her and then explain some of the basic's of being a tamer. Then they head off to the cafe where Tatsuya and AJ originally met.

Akira: Slow to act. Overthinks things. Very hesitant.
Kage: Sometimes acts too fast. Has a loud mouth and that often gets him in trouble. Anger issues.

The twins are as opposite as day and night.
Akira is very mild-mannered and peaceful. He usually prefers to wait things out and see what the enemy is going to do. He is very practical and quite the tactician. Slow to speak, but also slow to act. He is very hesitant to act on things, which is bad when in some situations action is needed immediately. He prefers to relax in the window sunbathing. He has no problem obeying AJ's directions because he views her as a tamer and a close friend.
Kage is always on the move. He tends to get very restless if there is nothing preoccupying his mind. He loves to fight and even picks fights with his brother at times, which AJ has to pick apart. This doesn't mean he doesn't love his brother, he is just the type to love rough and tumble play. At times in the night he will sneak out and explore the city and might even disappear for a few days at a time. When it comes down to it, he is just as loyal as his brother to AJ, but he has a hard time following her orders in battle and prefers to do things his own way. While his brother plans things, he jumps right into action.

Shadow Crasher: Forms a dark ball of energy in his hand and hits the ground. The ground in a twenty foot radius turns to a sea of darkness and anyone in this surounding area will sink into the darkness and suffocate. Champions and lower will be deleted. Ultimates and Megas have a better chance of surviving. One can escape if they escape that radius. A red ring spans out before the darkness sets in. Nightmare Rising: Finds the enemies worst nightmares and pits them against it. Of course, if they are very, very strong willed, they resist this. Only works on Ultimates or lower. [Duration: 3 posts/Cooldown: 3 posts.]

Ultimate Sacrifice: Produces a three-dimensional magic square as a glowing orb of Light and Darkness and traps the opponent within this orb, which has a 50/50 chance of either completely annihilating them, or merely inflicting massive damage. Folds his hands together in a prayer-like gesture then spreads them wide, creating a square like trap made up of darkness and light. This traps the enemy and bolts of light and dark come from the corners. This critically effects enemies, leaving them with half a chance of living. [Duration: 3 posts/Cooldown: 4 posts.]
