To celebrate the new V5 site, we have decided to re-implement the jobs system. For those of you that don't know what that is, your character does a job IC, and is paid some bits or posts. A quick easy way to get some cash fast. The rules are as follows: A member would be allowed to do four jobs per character, per month They would have the option of writing a minimum of ten paragraph post describing the work that they have done (only one post though to prevent farming for posts by posting two or three paragraphs at a time as a solo thread) To prevent creating a jumble of one-and-done threads, there would be a stickied thread in each of the MAIN BOARDS in the different boards for people to post their Job on. In that sense, it would work similar to the Mall. They would be considered IC posts and after so often, the posts would be archived to help keep things looking clean. Staff could check the thread regularly and award Bits to those who completed the task. Each Job will be worth 1500 Bits or 5 posts, unless otherwise stated on the job itself. Now if they really wanted to do something special, they can request an NPC with a staff and create their own thread. However, the minimum paragraphs posted would increase to 20, but the reward would also increase to 3000 Bits or 10 posts. Other Job Boards: Northern ProminenceWestern FlatlandsEastern TimberlandsSouthern TropicsThe Digital CoreDark AreaEmpyrean SkiesPlease put this template at the start of each post Job: Bits or Posts: Name of Job: Wear and Tears Reward Offered: 1500 bits or 5 posts Plot Description: Us Trailmon, we have the bad end of the bargain. We take people round, we get covered in mud, filled with rubbish, and lots of other things to horrible to mention. We have lots of money from train fares, but no way to spend it. We just want some love. How about this then, we will give you a reward, if you clean and fix us. Sounds good, yes? Name of Job: General Stories Reward Offered: 1500 bits or 5 posts Plot Description: Now, after the attack in Terminus, many shops were closed, and lots beings quit. Stories had run rampant about digimon attacking the stores, and this scared many of the workers off. While these stories are completely unfounded, it has caused many shops trouble, because they do not have enough workers to stay open. They are now hiring, and if you want some quick cash, look no further. Name of Job: Harvest Season Reward Offered: 1500 bits or 5 posts Plot Description: Us that don't live in Terminus city, we rely on simple means to stay afloat. Such as our farms. Unfortunately, most of our children and workers have quit and left, preferring the glamour of the big city to toiling under the sun. This has left us with barely any workers, and no means of sustaining ourselves when Harvest season ends. We could really use some help, and there might be a little reward of gratitude for anyone kind enough to offer their assistance.

Job: Harvest Season Bits or Posts: Bits
The sun was finally rising after what had been a very exhausting night for Takahiro and his digimon partner Ryu. Having spent all day and night trudging through the snowy tundra of the Northern Prominence and the never-ending Network Plains, the two definitely needed some shuteye. Fortunately, Takahiro could make out what appeared to be some sort of small farm in the distance. “Ryu, do you see that over there? Seems like some sort of farm if my eyes aren’t deceiving me.”
The Ryudamon briefly looked at his tamer before squinting his eyes and looking in the direction his tamer was pointing in. “I’m not sure, you may be right. Perhaps we could try to get some food and shelter over there.” Takahiro nodded. “My thoughts exactly, let’s go!” The human ran off in the direction of the farm, his partner quickly following, unable to grasp where his tamer got this sudden boost of energy from.
Once the pair approached the farm, they saw a digimon open the gate of the fence that surrounded the farm and come towards them. A few seconds of awkward staring later, Ryu finally broke the ice in his usual formal fashion. “Greetings lady, are you the owner of this fine farm?” The digimon gave the Ryudamon a weird look before she finally spoke. “Of course it is, why else would I come all the way out here? Tell me, what business do you have here?”
“We’ve been traveling all night and are looking for a place to get some food and rest,” Ryu replied, trying to sound as tired as possible. “So you’re not raiders?” the farm owner inquired, giving the pair a skeptical look. “Well in that case, allow me to introduce myself. I am a Nohemon, but folks around here call me Nora. Or at least they used to, until most of them left…” The puppet digimon quickly wiped a tear from her eye, not wanting her visitors to notice. “Anyway, we’re just getting by ourselves here. There are plenty of beds, but the food ain’t free unless you’re willing to work for it.”
Takahiro and Ryu looked at each other, trying to guess the other’s opinion before committing to an answer. “Nothing is free around here…” Takahiro silently mumbled in such a fashion only Ryu could possibly hear him. Even then, the Ryudamon seemed to have other plans. “Of course, we will help you out on your farm if you can offer us food and a nice bed.” The Nohemon’s eyes suddenly started to sparkle of joy. “Really? And here I was thinking you were just some thieves trying to steal what little we have left. Come in!”
While the group walked through the fields towards the main building, Takahiro seized the opportunity to inquire about the raids. “Nora, you mentioned raiders earlier. Are you having a lot of problems with them?” Slightly startled by the question, the Nohemon took some time before she replied. “Don’t even ask. In fact, it’s the very reason most of my workers have fled to the safety Terminus City offers.” Takahiro frowned. “Why didn’t you leave as well? Sounds like life out here isn’t very safe,” he asked. “Someone needs to grow the crops don’t they? Besides, I’ve been a farmer all my life and I’m not going to let some bandits keep me from doing my work.”
The Nohemon sniffed in disapproval. “Unlike those cowards who left at the first sign of trouble, some of us still work hard out here to keep the city stocked with fresh food.” The group finally arrived at what seemed to be some sort of large storage shed containing a lot of farming equipment. “Here you go, off to the fields with you. If you could clear that whole field over there, I would be in your debt,” Nora said as she handed Takahiro and Ryu a sickle each. “If you help us with this, we might just be able to get the next batch to the Terminus markets out before half of it spoils. Good luck!”
Takahiro wasn’t exactly sure how to use a sickle. After all, he was brought up in a rich family and had never really worked a day in his life. He stared at the curved piece of metal before glancing over to Ryu, who had already begun cutting away at the crops in front of him. Soon after, Takahiro had joined his partner in the process of cutting the culms of what appeared to be some sort of cereal plant. “We’re making quite some progress aren’t we? You know, this isn’t as bad as I first thought,” a sweaty Takahiro commented, trying to find some way to distract himself from the manual labor he was doing.
The Ryudamon briefly stopped swinging his sickle, taking the time to look behind him at the ‘progress’ they had made so far. “You might want to look behind you,” he replied in an emotionless tone before starting to cut away at the culms again. Takahiro slowly turned around, seeing what his partner meant. They were barely getting started, at this rate it would take them days to cut down all the crops and collect them. “I see what you mean…”
“We’re never going to get this done in time,” Takahiro shouted as he threw down his sickle. His partner gave him an angry look in return before speaking. “Have you forgotten already? We’ll find a way, I’m sure you’ll think of something.” Ryu shook his head in disapproval, annoyed at the fact that his tamer had already seemed to lose confidence again even though he had obtained the digimental of that same virtue not long ago. “Wait, I’ve got it!” Takahiro yelled as he dragged Ryu back to the shed.
He pointed at a large piece of equipment, clearly designed to be pulled by a large creature or piece of machinery if they could afford the latter. “THAT should cut down the time we need to harvest those crops, literally. Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” It took Ryu a while to realize what kind of crazy idea his tamer had, but once he did he nodded in agreement. Takahiro grabbed his D-3 digivice and D-terminal out of his pockets and pointed them towards the Ryudamon before shouting: “Let’s try this out, Digi-armor energize!”
Ryu started glowing brightly, his body growing in size substantially and fusing with what appeared to be enlarged pieces of the digimental. “Ryudamon armor digivolved to… Rhinomon, the crown of confidence!” When the glow faded, a rhino-like creature clad in golden armor stood before Takahiro. “Impressive, now let’s see if we can attach this piece of equipment to you,” he said, slightly in awe of his partner’s armor form. “Just make sure my armor doesn’t get dirty,” Ryu joked as his tamer hooked him up to the harvester. Once Takahiro had climbed onto his partner’s back, they started quickly mowing through the field using the harvester. Before they knew it, all culms on the field were neatly cut off and ready to be collected.
Nora came outside, and after her initial shock of seeing a golden rhino with a piece of farming equipment attached to it standing on her field, she spoke up. “Howdy! I’ll admit, I didn’t think you two could do it. You’re not the first to offer your services, but so far you’re the only ones who were actually up to the task and didn’t sneak away!” Takahiro smiled, but was forced to change his facial expression again when Ryu started to de-digivolve back to his Ryudamon form. “Taka, now would be a great time to get off me...” the digimon quipped. “Head inside for some grub and rest, my remaining employees will take care of collecting the culms. We owe you, without you we would never get this batch done in time to add it to the caravan of other crops headed for Terminus, not to mention not having anything to eat for days…” the Nohemon continued, directing several rookie digimon to the field to collect the culms.
A fresh meal, a good night’s sleep later and a small reward later, Takahiro and Ryu left the farm early in the morning to continue their trek southwards. “You two be careful out there, feel free to drop by again by the way. We could really use capable hands like yours around these parts any time!” Nora said, waving the tamer and his digimon goodbye as the pair disappeared into the endless fields of the Network Plains again.

SOVE: Criteria not met, payment not delivered - too short
Charles wasn't a guy who enjoyed to call someone to work. Especially when it came to having to walk miles and miles to go wake up a train. But he needed the payment. He had been given an offer to have a decent paying to go wake up a Trailmon that was thought to be hidden in a cave and had missed work. Of course, Charles had no clue when he took the job that he would have to travel this far...or that he would have to go by foot.
Finnaly he arrived at the supposed cave. At least, he hoped this was the right one. It was impressivly large. Large enougth to contain a trailmon. Charles felt pity for the trailmon. A place like this shouldn't be easy to find, and a trailmon deserved to take the chance to sleep. Still, even Charles knew many of them were simply lazy and greedy, so he would carry on with his task.
"Hi! Is anyone here?" Charles called out.
" Who...who's there?" a voice asked from inside the cave.
"Trailmon? You missed work today." Charles replied. "My name's Charles Ashmore, I was told to come here wake you up."
"Well, then, you succeeded. Now go away."
"Not till you come out. You have to go to work."
"Why nobody cares about me, why should I care about them?"
"Just what do you mean?"
"Look, we always carry people around, gathering fees in return. But we can't use them normally and we just end up all rusty and dirty and broke. Just look at me. I am ashamed of even showing up in this condition."
The trailmon slowly "stepped" out into the light. He wasn't kidding, he looked horrible: Mud everywhere, broken parts and exposed wires here and there, not to mention the smell and the oil... No wonder this guy was hiding. Charles was quick to think of a solution, if his spirits would cola orate for once.
"Say, how about I cleaned you up? Then you can give a lift to Terminus a go back to work."
"That sounds good to me, but how are you gonna do it?"
"Like this..." Charles took his D-Tector out and prayed this didn't go wrong " Spirit Sprite evolution execute!"
After a glowing moment, Charles became Steamdramon.
"Let's start by fixing you." The small dragon said before jumping into the Trailmon. "Weapon Fall!"
Steamdramon used the fires from his attack to fix the broken parts of the trailmon. Then he evolved into Charles's human fraction, Replimon. This, used his "" attack to create copies of himself to help cleaning and washing. This way in just about two hours, Charles was back to his normal self, with the Trailmon looking brand new.
As agreed, the Trailmon gave Charles a lift to terminus where Charles would get his payment and then the trailmon went back to work.

Job: General StoriesBits or Posts: Posts, please ;3SOVE: Bits given When A.J. and Patch had exited the train terminal from the human world, the first thing on Patch's mind was that he wanted, no needed, food, or else he would die. A.J sighed and rummaged around in her back, blinking when she came up empty. "I could have sworn I packed some food..." Her cool gaze slid over to the Mikemon who stood there, rubbing his shoulder awkwardly. A.J groaned and dragged her hand down her face, which surprisingly was now covered in a glove. She gazed down at herself, wondering when her clothes had change, but nonetheless they had. And now they were without food and Patch was hungry. Now that she thought about it, she was getting pretty hungry too.
"Well, do they sell food around here or something?"
"Yeah, they do, but you have to have bits, and well...your human money won't work here."
"Great, well I guess we're out of luck, because I only brought some cash from the house back in Shibuya."
"Wait, A.J, look at this!" Mikemon bounded over to a sigh on the wall. At closer inspection, the sign read, "Now Hiring." A.J. ran through a list of the stores and shrugged, glancing back down at her partner.
"Well, I guess it's worth a try."
They made their way to where the map beside the hiring sign indicated and walked inside. Glancing around, the shop seemed very much in disrepair and almost seemed empty. "Hello?" she called.
A sudden thump answered her call as a Gabumon peered over the glass countertop, visibly shaking. "Please! We've had so many people leave. I can't afford to lose any product. I won't call security if you just leave now."
A.J. blinked and glanced down at her rookie companion before looking back at the Gabumon. "We're not here to rob you. We're here to answer the hiring poster we found in the terminal."
The Gabumon's eyes widened and he scurried out from behind the counter and grasped A.J's hands tightly. "Oh my goodness! Of course! I'm so sorry! Please! Yes, we could use the help. It's just that after the attacks on Terminus, everybody was too afraid to stick around and work. If you don't mind, I've got a few things you can do!" He moved back to the counter top momentarily and returned with a list. A.J took the piece of paper and gave it a once over. This didn't seem to hard.
"Okay! We're in!" She nodded at Patch.
As the list instructed, a few of the shelves had to be fixed. A.J walked down the aisles of the store, which kind of just mostly sold junk, random books, a few toys, and some snacks at the front. After finding a good spot to began, she removed the items from the shelf and balanced it before screwing it in with the screws and screwdriver the Gabumon had provided. At least he had had the tools.
There were several of these to be fixed and then the products had to be put back on. After this was complete, she decided she might as well go through and dust all of the shelves. This took about two hours with her removing the products, putting them on a card, dusting the shelves, and replacing the product in a neat and orderly fashion. This allowed her to also space out the product and turn it to the front where customers could quickly look at the brand name.
Next, she set Patch to reorganizing the glass case full of jewelry and random mechanical things while she alphabetized some of the books near the entrance. This didn't take too long, even with Patch getting distracted by all the "shinys." Of course there was still more work to do.
Next, she went through the dated food and drink products at the front, determining if they were still edible or not by the date branded. Many of the items were out of date and so more had to be brought from the back and labeled with the appropriate date.
The Gabumon allowed them a small break where he gave them each a little bit of fruit and some water. A.J. smiled and thanked the Gabumon, but she was determined to get back to work. Actually, this was kind of fun. She had never had to have a job because her father had provided for her, plus since she had moved around so much, she wouldn't have been able to stay for very long. And not to mention since she was only fifteen, maybe places did not hire someone that young.
She returned to what she had previously been doing when Gabumon rounded the corner, announcing they had just receiving a shipment on the Trailmon. A.J and Patch followed Gabumon to the back where a pile of boxes and crates were splayed on the floor. A.J. and Patch began loading the boxes onto empty carts and wheeling them out to the front of the store.
Patch used his Neko Scratch technique to crack open the crates and boxes. Stocking was easy enough. A.J. just found the place where the item went and put enough to fill the shelf. If there was anything left over, they put it on a separate cart and wheeled it to the back. Stocking the shelves took about a good four hours and then after that they had to go back to the stock room and reorganize all of the extra products so the next time they could be found easily.
"Well, I think we also need to make prices, if you don't mind."
A.J. nodded and took a "gun" and began to "shoot" the items. The screen would display a small price and she would write it on the tag that hung on the shelf in front of the item. Many items were without prices so she went through the whole story pricing the items.
As they finanlly finished up for the day, A.J. took the extra time to sweep the store and clean the glass front. When she was done, she wiped the sweat from her brow and leaned against the wall, smiling at all the hard work they had accomplished. She might even get a job when she got back to the human world. While she was not all that fond of manual labor -no she actually preferred the paper type such as taking notes- today had been very rewarding. The Gabumon offered them some extra snacks and the money as promised. She bowed and she and Patch walked off and towards the city exit.

So, Tatsuya and Dorumon were now in the Digital World. However, the Tamer had no idea about where to go, or even what to do in there! He had just packed things for a quick picnic in Mount Fuji, so he figured that first and foremost they should gather money to buy food and find some shelter for the night. The Tamer was sure that they would need money, and he had none. Just as he entered Terminus City, he saw something that could mean potential payment for them.
There was a sort of bulletin board with many paper sheets fileld with strange characters which, by some reason, Tatsuya seemed to understand without problem. Many of them implied that things were for sale, but there was one that caught the boy's attention. "Employers needed. Small shop, not far away from here. Can be a one-day job. Payment offered: up to 1500 bits". Bits? Strange. That might be the currency of the strange world... He was now glad that he hadn't brought any money with him: the only thing he would do is lose it, as it seemed useless in the net.
-How does that sound, Sangloupmon? Up to do something productive for once? -the Tamer asked the wolf-like Digimon he was riding with a slight smile. -Whatever. I guess we don't have much of a choice, either way -the majestic creature growled, taking a look at the directions given by the post.
In a matter of thirty seconds, the duo were already at the shop's entrance. As Sangloupmon de-digivolved, Tatsuya leaped down of the Digimon. -Wow. That was so cool! -the purple creature said, happy. -Okay, we're going in. Expect another Digimon, so don't go mad, okay? Remember what we are here for -the boy warned his Digimon. As the door was opened by Tatsuya, a voice came from behind the counter.
-We... we don't have anything for you, robbers... -it shyly spoke. Tatsuya laughed slightly. -Relax! We're not here to harm you. We just wanted to take the job, or is it too late? -the human spoke, friendly as always. Two voices then began whispering: one of them was the one they had heard before. In a few seconds, one timid, hamburger-like head showed itself from behind the wooden furniture.
-O...OH! Apologies for my rudeness, then! My name is... Hamburgermon, and this is my wife... -the male spoke, pointing towards a more femenin like Digimon. Tatsuya had to turn away to contain his laughs. They were called "Hamburgermon" and looked exactly like one! No doubt they were robbed often. As he turned, smile still drawn in his face, he spoke.
-Oh, no, our apologies. We should've not entered without permission. Any way, what are we needed for? -the teen asked. -Well, we need help attending our clients. Since many shops have closed, this will ve overflowing with people in about thirty minutes... that was why we weren't expecting anything other than robbers. You have to ask the other Digimon or Humans that come in what they want. If they behave poorly... do your best to get them out of my store, I beg you.
Dorumon smiled while giggling mischievously. So he might have the chance to "do his best" to "convince" a Digimon, or a human if he was lucky enough, to get out of the store. That might involve the use of... violence. However, he was then directed a serious look by his Tamer, and he dismissed the human with a snorting sound, directing his gaze away while imitating his tamer. -That is wrong, Dorumon! -he muttered in a funny voice as the Hamburgermon gave them their attire for the day.
-Really? I have to wear an apron!? -the teen asked with his mouth open. A nodding from the hamburger-like creature made him want to get out of the store... but whatever, they would have to do it. 25 minutes later, the first client came, smiling, but it was very surprised to see Tatsuya waving with a grin from the counter.
-Youkozo! Welcome! My name is Tatsuya. Now, what can I help you with? -the male asked, but the Digimon approached cautiously. It seemed pretty shy. -A...Ano... My name is... Floramon... Where are the Hamburgermon? -the Digimon spoke with a girly voice, making the brown-haired human guessed it was female. -They have hired me and my partner, Dorumon, for the day. He is in charge of... dispatching unbehaving customers. Now, what can I help you with, Floramon?
As always, the familiar attitude of the Kazan made his job a lot easier, and a few minutes later, the Floramon was already out of the store with a smile, as five more people came in. In a similar way, the Kazan supervised they got whatever they needed and went out of the store satisfied by his good job. Thus, the afternoon passed by. As three Mushroomons were asking him about something, an Impmon came into the store.
-Huh. So small, pathetic! -it muttered, spitting on the ground. Dorumon frowned, but he was slightly delighted. He had found a potential customer of his own. Tatsuya tried to put up with him nonetheless. -What can I help you with? -he asked. -Well, first of all, get that idiotic smile out of your face, scumbag. Do I make myself clear? -the Impmon said, laughing at him. That sparked a bit of rage in the teen, who tried to control himself nonetheless. With a nod, Dorumon approached from behind.
-Sir, I don't think you are in a position to threaten me, specially when I'm trying to help you. I don't care, but... -Oh, who asked you? Just shut up and give me a little bit of... -he was about to finished, but Dorumon had bitten him from behind. Grabbing its right leg between his teeth, he launched the Impmon violently to the door, making him roll out of the store.
-Oh, just shut up, asshole. You are getting me on my nerves -the prototype Dragon Digimon muttered, as he tilted his head towards the Impmon, and then to the right, pointing him to leave. Tatsuya laughed as he attended the other customers, who had turned more polite "out of the blue".
Finally, their shift ended, and Tatsuya went to the Hamburgermon. -It has been a pleasure, sir. Please feel free to contact us if you need any more help. -Oh, the pleasure has been mine. It was the first time I met a human like you. Here is your reward! -the Digimon handed out the desired item, and Tatsuya stored it inside his Digivice. He then made Dorumon a gesture: it was time to leave. Walking out of the store, he turned his head slightly and waved goodbye to the nice marriage. Well, that had been his first paid job... and it had been in another world!

Job: Wear and Tears Bits or Posts: Post please OOC: -Don't know if I can do two jobs one after another, but kinda felt like writing something -Pending for reward SOVE: Posts given
Tatsuya and Dorumon woke up early in the morning. The Tamer was sure that they should try to earn all the money they could in order to be ready to begin their travels in the Digital World, for they had decided it was a little bit too early to return to the Human World... and not that they knew how to do it, anyways. The human opened his eyes, tired, and moved Dorumon's head with his right foot while mumbling something that sounded like "mon, Domon, gotta up..." His voice was still sleepish, he wanted to say that they had to wake up. -Oh, shut up, Tatsuya... I'm trying to... sleep -the Rookie Digimon mumbled, his eyes closed as he drooled, finding comfort in his sleep. However, his Tamer did not give up there, and after several failed attempts, Dorumon finally decided to get out of the bed, at least for that day. He knew that once his Tamer had something in mind, there was no way of making him change that idea. Well, that was pretty much the only thing he liked about him, as a darn human, and why he had begun to respect him... slightly. He was very determined, just as the Digimon was. Getting out of the inn where they had spent the night, Tatsuya and his partner headed towards the same bulletin board they had seen the day before, when they worked for the Hamburgermons. Luckily there could be another job awaiting them, a new chance to earn a little cash in preparation for the following days in the strange world. After what seemed to be a ten minute walk, the duo arrived to the spot, where new jobs had indeed been posteed by various Digimon. -Hmmmkay... let's see what we've got here... -the eighteen year old mumbled, checking every piece of paper stuck on the surface of the metallic board. It didn't take him long to find something that suited him. The description offered a plain, simple summary of the requirements and a rough description of the things they would need to do. Tatsuya frowned as he saw the name "Trailmon". He hadn't had the chance of talking to a normal Trailmon yet, just the dark one. -So? What will it be? -Dorumon asked, eager to finish as fast as possible. -Looks like we will be cleaning and fixing a bunch of Trailmons. Should be easy, I think. How does it sound? -the Tamer asked. -Horrible. But whatever. -As cheerful as always -Tatsuya rolled his eyes at his partner's comment. Without a moment to spare, they walked their way to the Trailmon station. Fifteen minutes later, they had arrived to the aforementioned place. With a wave of his hand, Tatsuya greeted what seemed to be trains of different shapes and colours, but had an eye(s) and a big mouth. They all seemed to be sentient, so he guessed those would be the so called Trailmons. Dorumon, still sleepy, forgot to put his menacing look in his eyes. -Hey there! Are you the Trailmons? -Yes, indeed -a voice spoke- but we are closed for the day. Not taking anyone anywhere 'till someone cleans us. Tatsuya half-smiled. -Well wait no more. Here we are! I'm Tatsuya Kazan, and this is my partner Dorumon. We are here to take that job you posted in the bulletin board -he announced, as a question came to mind. How the heck had they written something without hands? -Really! Oh, such bad luck... I was expecting that a cute girl would come... -one of them sighed, to which Dorumon sarcastically replied. -Oh, can't you see how cute this girl is? -the Dragon digimon chuckled, looking at Tatsuya. -Very funny, foxy. You could be my teddy bear! C'mere, let me hug you to show how cute I can be... -the human answered, approaching his partner as the latter ran away, shocked. -Ahem. Are you ready to start? You have any necessary tools over there, on the counter -the Trailmons spoke at once. With a nod, Tatsuya and Dorumon took a brush each, and began their task. Cleaning the Trailmons was nothing easy, as they were incredibly big, but they made their best effort nonetheless. As he was brushing one of them, Tatsuya spoke to the train-like Digimon. -You said you weren't taking anyone anywhere. Where do you usually travel? -the Tamer asked. -Where? To the Human World and back here, of course! I must say I'm quite surprised, you should already know if you were here, because you have to take one of us to come here.-Well, actually... We came in the Dark-Trailmon -the human admitted, to which the Trailmons began nervously speaking to each other, mostly asking "What? Why?", but they soon ended speaking as the young human left Dorumon in charge of the cleaning. Taking the tools, he went to each Trailmon's mouth, and began his attempt on fixing their engines. He knew little, mostly from Technology classes at school, so he decided to only fix the broken connections and circuits. Doing the second one, however, he touched a soft spot, which made one of the Trailmon sneeze, covering him in black dirt from the dusty engine. As he cleaned himself, Dorumon began laughing. -Oh, god, that's hilarious! Can't you do it again, Trailmon? Please? -he begged, rolling on the ground. -Oh... Sorry...-Nevermind, it's fine! -the young male replied. Thus, after spending the entire day working in the Trailmons, they finally finished their works. One could not say they were like new, but they had done a good job, which the train-like creatures seemed to relish on. -Oh, thank you! You have no idea how rusty we were until today. Go to the office, they will pay you there... and if you ever need a lift, just tell one of us! If we are available, we will help you -the "leader" of the Trailmon spoke, grateful towards both Tamer and Digimon. -It's okay! It has been a pleasure. Bye! -the brown-haired said, waving goodbye, Dorumon walking by his side. After collecting their payment, the duo went straight to the center of the city so they could put the last hours of sunlight to good use before going back to sleep. They would probably begin their journey the day after, so they had to be well-rested.

"VROOOOOM...!"
A voice of motorcycle could be heard from nearby. At the road, there was a red motorcycle running. Riding on the bike was a woman with vouluptuous body in blue hoodie with samurai-like image on the back, over the white sports bra and black jeans. She also wore black gloves and black sneakers. Behind her was an Agumon of some sort, but he wore a white spacesuit and rocket-like helmet. They were Ryoko and Ryusei, the hot-blooded duo.
Ryoko and Ryusei arrived at Trailmon Station, riding a red cheetah-like bike. After that, they dismounted from their bikes, putting off their helmets and putting them on the bike. The two then dismounted from their bikes to go into the station. It was time to get a job to get some Digital Money, despite Ryoko being a superstar in human world. However her status as superstar didn't apply at Digital World, so she had to work out to get some money.
Once they got into the station, all they need was to talk with the manager. Hopefully they got into talk with kind manager to give them enjoyable jobs. Jobs didn't have to be easy, but to Ryoko, more challenging the job, more enjoyable. The thrill she'd get gave her an entertainment of some sort. Whether it was maintenance of Trailmons, or the rails.
Ryoko and Ryusei then went to the manager's office. As they got into the office, they saw someone there. It was a robot-like Digimon, Guardromon. He was about to offer a job to whoever kindly asking for it. Ryoko then knocked the manager's room to see this Digimon.
"Come in." The Guardromon said.
Ryoko and Ryusei entered the room to meet the manager. They were ready to get any job if possible. And this manager not looked like a mean boss any way.
"Yo thar. I juz wanna apply for da job here." Ryoko said. "Yea, so, can we help ya any way?" Ryusei asked. "Good timing for apply, youngsters. We just got ourselves Trailmons in service." Guardromon said. "So wut'll we gonna do then?" Ryoko asked. "You'll clean them." Guardromon answered.
Knowing that Trailmons were big Digimons, as huge as real trains, Ryoko and Ryusei were challenged. It could be enjoyable experience for both of them. Cleaning the trains wasn't as easy as it sounded, but they tried to. Of course, it had entertainment value for them as well, so they better not to miss this chance.
"Okay. We'll do it." Ryoko nodded in agreement. "Just make sure you don't scratch them. This one is the delicate one." Guardromon said. "Thanks."
Ryoko and Ryusei then went to the Trailmon in request, bringing the cleaning kits. They were excited to see who was on the service later. After few steps of walking, they encountered a Worm-type Trailmon, who was sleeping... and snoring. Of course, it was delicate Trailmon as Guardromon said, but they had to try to clean. So, the best course of action was to clean him whilst sleeping.
"Okay, so we'll clean him up whilst he's sleepin'." Ryoko said. "Yea, but how...?" Ryusei asked. "Juz do it gently n dun rush it." "'kay." Ryusei gulped, and then braced himself to not waking the Trailmon up whilst cleaning the Trailmon. "I can do 'tis."
Ryusei activated his Rocket Module on his right arm and Water Faucet on his left leg. First, he flew up to the Trailmon and watered it with the faucet. He then flew all over the Trailmons to water the Trailmon wholly. The water's temperature was adjusted to 27 degrees of Celsius, so it couldn't be too cold to wake it up.
"Mmm... nyum, nyum, nyum..." The Trailmon mumbled in his sleep as he unknowingly got wet.
Ryusei then used the brush to clean the Trailmon's body from the dirts and dusts. Ryoko then helped him cleaning by rubbing the tires with the soaped brush. Despite getting brushed, the Trailmon seemed didn't awake from the realm of dreams. He just kept enjoying whatever he was dreaming, while snoring.
The snores could disturb the duo, but they decided to focus on their job. Ryusei had his spacesuit helmet on, so any noise came to his auditory system could be filtered to prevent noisiness. The SpaceAgumon then activated Radar Tracker on his left arm to see if the Trailmon had some damage in his system. Fortunately, he didn't find any so there was no need to fix this sleepyhead.
The tomboy then went into Trailmon's interior and cleaned them. Mopping floors, cleaning the chairs and upper shelves, and the window; also disposing the garbages and rubbishes out of them. The passenger rooms was kinda long, so they took a lot of time to clean them. They had to clean them car by car. After cleaning the cabins, they went to clean the Trailmon's front car. Ryusei cleaned the chimney, while Ryoko brushed his teeth.
After the efforts, finally The Trailmon became neat and clean, free of dusts and rubbishes. The duo grinned, that he could enjoy the gorgeous look once he woke up.

"Humon, get your ass in gear!"
"It's Hiro you scarecrow!" Hiro yelled back at the storekeeper. "And it's Human, man! Geez, get it right."
Hiro really thought that he would be doing odd work while in the Digital World. He expected to go back to the Village of Beginnings, A.K.A. babysitting, for hell for work. He half expected Tetsu to pull him on some random crusade jaunting through the Digital World righting wrongs or fighting evil. There was even a small part of him that expected to go out into the wilderness and do some weird manual work like lumberjacking or something.
So he was not expecting to lug packages for a 7-11 (or whatever they were called in the Digital World... or in Japan... wow he really needed to get out the house and go somewhere other than the park or Cat Street). It was mundane.
Hiro sidestepped Tetsu who was running past with a box that seemed full of chips of some sort and looked around for the dolly he was using. There were tons of boxes everywhere, but he couldn't find the tool anywhere. "Hey, Tetsu where's the dolly."
"You want a doll?" Tetsu paused in his back and forth of the smaller boxes. "I think there's some plush stuff in the front of the store."
Hiro pressed a hand to his face and resisted the urge to sigh. "No, not doll, a dolly. The thing with the wheels that I stack boxes for easy movement." Hiro pantomimed rolling the dolly as if that would help Tetsu. It was an unnecessary action, Tetsu knew what he was talking about now.
"Oh, the roll-y thingie." Tetsu pointed to a corner that was blocked by a stack of boxes. "I think it's over there. The truck dropped off one last shipment."
"Oh god, I hope they didn't steal our dolly." Hiro groaned as he ran over to the stack. But to his relief, sitting behind the boxes was the wheel apparatus. "Oh thank god."
Hiro grunted as he leaned the dolly back and started rolling it into the store. He ignored the stream of insults that came out of FlaWizarmon's mouth. The wizard Digimon was kind of belligerent, but Hiro was okay with it. FlaWizarmon was belligerent to everyone. So Hiro just accepted that FlaWizarmon was just a jackass and continued on.
"Ugh... I am not looking forward to doing this for spending cash during college." Hiro mused idly.
"Wha wazzat?" Tetsu's muffled voice came from behind him. The words were garbled so Hiro spun around to shoot his partner a raised eyebrow. A yelp escaped his lips when he saw Tetsu though. The little dragon Digimon was munching on a bag of chips. A bag of chips that was probably from the boxes they were unloading.
"Dude!"
"What?" Tetsu repeated as he shoved another handful of chips into his mouth.
"You can't eat those." Hiro hissed.
"Why not?" Tetsu tilted his head and continued to chew on his snack. "I paid for them."
"You..." Hiro blinked. "What?"
"I was hungry, so I bought a snack." Tetsu shrugged.
Hiro pressed his hand against his face and took a deep breathe. He ignored his partner and wheeled the last of the boxes into the shop and told FlaWizarmon they were done.
