Jimmy and Shin looked behind them as Crystal closed the doors behind them. Ghost told them that she was will be fine, but they weren't so sure. It doesn't matter how powerful she was. She was the most injured out of all of them and was going against an army. Good thing she appeared to have the ability to go through walls like a ghost.
"You know. You could of told us that you could go through walls like that." Shin criticized. Not liking how Ghost appeared to have messed with their emotions.
"Don't worry about them Ghost. Go ahead and rest up. You deserve it after everything you have done for us today." Crystal said with a small smile. It made her feel good to know that Ghost did indeed have a plan to get in the temple herself. She didn't want to end up locking out her only hope getting her brother back after Ghost just so valiantly protected them.
Crystal then turned to look at the egg on the alter. They made it. They had somehow made it. She took a few steps towards it til she had reached the alter. The feeling she was having was starting to feel very strong when she neared the egg. It was indeed the source, wasn't it.
"This is it. The egg that caused us so much trouble." Crystal said as she wrapped her hands around it. It was time for the moment of truth. So why does she feel so anxious all of a sudden.

"Tch..."
Ghost, now being fully through the wall, reverted to her champion Shoutmon ZX form. While her HyldenImpmon form was the most familiar to her, in case something happened later she would save up a bit more energy with this form. If she ends up reverting to her Ethereal form, though, she'll be of no use to anyone until she regains her strength, and without Beverly around that process would be more time consuming.
In any case, the battered Ghost sat against the wall, breathing sighing relief as her body relaxed. She didn't appreciate Shin's inferring that she meant anything by not telling them she could go through walls. Too tired to care to explain herself to him, she remained silent. She said she would be fine back there. And here she was, fine. Given the direness of the situation she didn't think to specifically tell 2/3 of the party, as they were escaping into the building, that she was capable of going through walls.
At least Crystal appreciated her efforts. And the fighting was a bit... exhilarating.
Sanoske was happy for Crystal, and was anxious to see what form she would get. Hopefully something closer to his size. The potential to cuddle with his Lop-gal without smashing her filled him with glee. Oh how he would love her and squeeze her and call her Georgina... maybe not the last bit...
^Well, now we got what we came for... so what now? I guess wait here for Ghost to rest up and then we leave?^

((Sorry for the delay. Between the snow and having to do errands, these past few days have been hectic >.<))
"I guess. To be honest, I haven't exactly thought everything through just yet." Crystal told Sanoske as she looked back at him. She then returned her attention to the egg lying on the alter.
What am I waiting for? She mentally asked herself as she wrapped her small hands around the egg. Then, after taking a deep breath, she lifted the egg up off the alter.
A couple seconds past until Crystal would move again. "Well... That was anticlimactic..." She sighed, having suspected something spectacular to happen when she lifted the egg. "Oh well. I guess now would be a good time to figure out how exactly this thing works."
She carefully examined the egg as she tried to see if anything came to her. "Hmm... Digiarmor Energize?" She said as she remembered reading something about this in a book of some kind. Both her and the egg suddenly began to glow. Her body began to transform into something that was about twice her size. "The claws of ingenuity, Prairiemon." She called out as her new form was fully revealed.
"Wow. This is... Weird." Were the next words out of her mouth as she examined her new body.

Sanoske and the others watched as Crystal took up the egg, and soon digivolved into her Prariemon form. The Gazimon went up to her and examined her, smiling. He was legitimately happy for her, soon taking her up in his arms and hugging her. Quite tightly, even, with no fear of any of the bladed areas of her body.
^Oh you're such a cuuuute Prariemon, Crystal!^ Of course, he was hoping she would be a bit taller, but, hey, this means he could still give her a ride.
"Well comrades, it seems this mission has completed. Heh heh, all of you've have done well today. Especially you, Ghost, for braving the bulk of our foes and even produced no casualties.
And you two others..." He said to Shin and Jimmy, "We appreciate your aid greatly! Glad to have had you two aboard!
And... uh.. since I'm at it... hey, Sanoske."
^What, going to apologize for calling me superchunk?^
"As soon as you apologize for threatening to violently scoop me out of my shell and use it as a domicile, but that's not important. I was going to wish you luck with your girlfriend, Cuddlechunk."
Sanoske looked rather nonplussed at the idea of being called Cuddlechunk. Rolento said it in such a way he wasn't sure was friendly sarcasm or a legit term of endearment. After a few moments of silence he looked away and spoke.
^R-right... you and Pata too, House. ^

((Have to admit. First time I ever seen someone use nonplussed XD))
"You shouldn't count yourself out. You did much more then me or Shin every did. uhh... Sorry. I don't think I caught your name." Jimmy told Rolento with a small smile as he nursed an injured shoulder.
Shin, on the otherhand, just shrugged it off. He still wasn't happy being dragged into this mess because of them. If not for the giant army of angry digimon waiting outside, he would be trying to put as much space between them and him as possible. Still, he had to admit, at least they were able to get them somewhere safe for now. Now to see if they can figure out a way out of this place.
Meanwhile Crystal had found herself being hugged very tightly by Sanoske. While she wish she could hug him back, she was to busy doing everything she can not to accidentally cut her boyfriend, which was proving to be rather difficult. That wasn't even including the fact that she was having a hard time breathing. "Sa... Sanoske... I love you too, but... Could you... Please let me go now... Can't... Breath..." She finally voiced towards Sanoske as she reached her limit.

(((I've wanted to throw that word into an rp for a little while, haha)))
"The name's Rolento! The gal on my back is Pata. She's, uh... a bit in shock from earlier. But she'll be okay. At least, I hope she'll be okay, never saw her freak out like that before.
You're going to be alright, are ya?"
Pata had remained relatively still and silent ever since they entered this ruin. But once asked she merely gave a slight squeek. She needed her rest, but in a more open, and more safe area than this. She was probably quite volatile at the moment.
Sanoske loved her and squeezed her, but before he could call her George, Crystal coughed out that he was suffocating her. His embrace loosened, although he didn't let go just yet. Still she would be able to actually breathe with his grip loosened. Giving an embarrassed whimper, he replied to her, ^Garoooo... Sorry, Crystal. I... I guess I should just put you down, huh?^
Ghost gave a slight chuckle before sighing a bit. "Hey, give me a few minutes and then I could scout out the outside and see where the tribe is. Unless you guys have some other plan, in which case I'm all ears. "

((Yeah. Have to admit that I tend to get the same way when I find a word like that.))
"Well it's nice to officially meet you two. I'm Jimmy and the grumpy one over here is Shin." Jimmy said before pausing for a second a he ponder on something, "Sorry. I'm not sure if we mentioned that or not?"
"We didn't." Shin cued in.
"Oh... Well there you go then."
"Also, for the record, I'm not grumpy. I just get irritated when I find out that I was just nearly killed by a legion of Wendigomons because someone I didn't know before hand happened to have threaten them." Shin stated matter-of-factly as he glared at Rolento.
Jimmy had a worry look on his face as he turned towards his companion. "Shin please don't start anything. Now isn't a time for us to fight amoung ourselves. We really should rest up and figure out what to do next."
"Fine. Though I do wonder how exactly you plan to rest up while your still in that form?"
Jimmy remained quiet as he looked over at Pata. She seemed pretty freaked out already, and Jimmy didn't want to freak her out any more by saying that he didn't want to drop his guard just yet incase that horde manages to get in here somehow. In fact, did they even knew he was spirit wielder? "Ehh... I'm fine. Need to stay prepare for when we make our escape from this place."
"Is that so?"
"Perhaps... That'll be best." Crystal told Sanoske in between catching her breath. While she didn't exactly want to end her embrace with Sanoske now that he relaxed his grip on her, she did believe that now wasn't exactly a good time. Especially since she still wasn't exactly use to her sharp claws and didn't want to accidentally cut Sanoske with them.
Just then, Crystal just remembered something. "Oh no. I just remembered. I left my bag on Ghost's back when I went up to check the door. Please tell me that either of you two have it?" Crystal asked Ghost and Sanoske in hopes that one of them grabbed her bag, and that it wasn't at the mercy to the Wendigomon outside. Though, in hindsight, perhaps she should of notice that Sanoske was holding something in his hand.
((I'm assuming that Sanoske is still holding onto Crys' bag for her. If not, just tell me and I'll edit.))

(((While I forgot about the bag, Sanoske didn't really do too much to have left it somewhere))
Rolento responded to Shin's glare with a chuckle, before shaking his head. He spoke with a similar matter-of-fact tone, and meant no general disrespect towards anyone. "Again, those guys would have attacked us no matter what. Only difference was whether it was because I pissed them off, or because Crystal and friends decided to try to get into their ruins.
And don't try to say you would have left... you resonated with the egg, I'm certain you wouldn't have let that go. Still, alls well that ends well, and so far all is still well."[/color]
Moments later, freed from Sanoske's grasp, Crystal worried about her bag, looking for it. Sanoske gave her a comforting growl. ^I still have it, don't worry.^ He opened one of his clawed hands, holding the bag and contents Crystal had held on to for some time now.
^Here you go, Crystal.^

Crystal looked at her new hands, then at the bag Sanoske was handing to her. "If you don't mind. Could you carry it for a little bit longer? I'm afraid my new claws aren't exactly made for carrying things." The Prairiemon told her boyfriend as she showed him her claws. She hated to ask him to do her such a menial favor after he has done so much for her already, but she didn't want to risk accidentally damaging the contents within the bag.
Right about this time, a strange beeping sound began to come off of Jimmy. The spirit wielder paused for a second as he searched himself before seemingly pulling out a blue D-tector out of thin air. "What in the... Why is it going off now?" Jimmy questioned aloud as he began messing with the device.
"What is it Jimmy?" Shin asked curiously.
"I don't know. The D-tector seems to be reacting to something, but I can't really tell what." He explained as he continued to mess with the device in an attempt to figure out what the beeping means.

Sanoske nodded, closing his paw and held the bag again. She was right, those claws were pretty dangerous looking, and not really good for holding anything.
And then the Gazimon wondered how well she could scratch backs. But before that line of thought went anywhere Jimmy's D-Tector started to go off. Ghost perked up, seeing it come out of nowhere and knowing what this means.
"Oh, you're a spirit user, huh?" She asked, although she was only half expecting an answer, as the question was someone her thinking out loud. Sanoske was curious, though. He never actually met a spirit user... or a human for that matter. He walked up to him and examined the human turned digimon.
^Huh... a human digimon. I've only ever heard about them... ^ Granted, Sanoske realized Jimmy would not understand him... so he figured he would at least put in some effort in speaking. "Garrooo...Sorrry... tarllking... differrcut..."

"Uhh... Yeah. I am." Jimmy told Ghost with a sheepish laugh. He never was fully comfortable telling people about this Spirit User thing. This uncomfortableness grew even more as Sanoske came in close and began growling at him. To only then try to say that talking is difficult for him. "Is that so?" Yeap. This is definitely out of his comfort zone.
Jimmy then began to notice something odd. It appeared that as Sanoske began to move close to Jimmy, his D-tector began to beep a lot more quickly. How come? Could it be reacting to Sanoske? Maybe, but why would it be doing that? Maybe it's something Sanoske has in his possession instead?
"Snap out of it Jimmy. There's no need to stare at Sanoske like that." Shin stated.
Jimmy blinked as he heard Shin's voice. Wait. Was he staring? Shoot. Got to think of something quick. Can't go mentioning that he believes the D-tector is reacting off of Sanoske just yet. Not when he doesn't have any solid proof. "Ohh... Uhh... Sorry. I'm not used to a digimon his size growling at me like that." That was smooth you idiot.
"Ohh... That's right. You mentioned you couldn't understand what he's saying when he growls like that earlier. I wonder why that is." Shin said with some curiosity. He had assumed that Sanoske's growling would be universally understood, but apparently not.
"It's because only animal-like digimon can understand him. Right honey?" Crystal chimed in as she walked over to where Sanoske was, trying to help.

Sanoske noticed how nervous he was making Jimmy. He had tried to not be so... imposing, but it probably couldn't be helped. He was growling at him after all, even if he simply was talking. He also, however, heard the beeping from the D-Tector. Was it because of Sanoske? He hoped not... Sanoske had nothing to give aside from what Crystal had, which wasn't even his to begin with.
Whatever it was, Jimmy was just... looking at him, causing the large Gazimon to look away nervously as well. Shin snapped him out of it, however. But since Jimmy couldn't understand him, Sanoske's apology merely looked like a whimper as he scratched his head.
To answer Shin's inquiry as to who could understand his growls, Crystal had came and stated that, indeed, Sanoske's growls could only be understood by animal type digimon. He nodded in agreement, then spoke with Shin, all the while feeling some warmth in his heart at being called "honey". But he had to focus at the matter at hand.
^I couldn't tell you why, but Crystal is right... only animal types understand me... and Ghost. But, uh, Ghost is kind of a special case and this is probably not the best time to really get into it.^

((I'm sorry for the constantly delayed responses. I'm having some technical difficulties -_- Why does it feel like rl is trying to do everything it can to stop me from posting on this site?))
Jimmy looked at Sanoske confused as he spoke to Shin. It was weird being the only one in the room to not understand what someone was saying. He couldn't even guess what Sanoske was possibly saying. Shin, seeing Jimmy's confused look, decided to translate.
"He basically said that he couldn't tell us why, but only animal type digimon seem to be able to understand him. With the only exception being Ghost over there." Shin shared with his companion.
"Perhaps it has something to do with the more feral parts of us animal digimon brains. It translates what Sanoske's growls mean to something we can understand." Crystal mused before looking back up at everyone, "Sorry. Just thinking out loud."
Jimmy looked down at his D-tector as it continued to beep. "So only beast type digimon can understand him then. I think I can manage that. Slide..." Yet Jimmy wasn't able to finish his statement as something seemed to be happening.
"Hey Sanoske! Somethings happening with the bag!" Crystal interrupted as she noticed the makeshift canvas bag appeared to be glowing from with in. Could the contents possibly be trying to tell them something? Or was something else happening here?
Jimmy meanwhile looked back down as his D-tector seemed to be glowing too. There was no doubt about it now. The digivice was interacting with whatever was in the bag. Could it be...
Crystal, seeing this, just paused as she came to crossroad. She had planned on taking the bag over to the Village of Beginning in order to give her old guardian a new chance at life. Yet it seems that Moosemon had a different plan in mind. "Sanoske... Go ahead and open the bag."

Thankfully, Shin had taken up translating Sanoske's growls for Jimmy. At least there was no questions as to how Ghost could understand, although he did say there was no time to really get into it. Both Ghost and Sanoske knew Ghost would have no qualms in revealing what sort of digimon she was, specifically, her origins. Sanoske was less sure he could tell a couple of other strangers what he was.
Crystal also hypothesized that Sanoske's growling interacted with the feral parts of animal digimon's brains, allowing only them to understand him. It was the best reasoning he had heard so far.
With this knowledge, Jimmy decided that he could do something about that, and was about to perform a slide evolution. However, it was interrupted when the back in his paw produced shining light. Well, at least the D-Tector wasn't reacting to him.
He sat his paw low to Jimmy, holding the bag as he carefully opened it. Rolento gave out a hearty laugh and clapped a bit, watching someone else getting some sort of power up.
"Heh heh, must be one of those Spirit Totems I hear about, I think. Makes sense considering the situation.
Well, it seems as we got a two-fer today, guys. Maybe we were all fated to meet, Team Rolento, Team Crystal, and Team Shin! All together to benefit each other!"

Wait. Why are we Team Shin? Jimmy wondered as he gave Roento a deadpan look. While he never saw himself as the leader of their small group, he never saw Shin as one either. They were more like equals at most times. Though it appears that to outsiders, Shin was the one in charge.
Not like that mattered much right now. Jimmy's attention went back to the newly revealed Spirit Totem. He wondered a little why the totem decided to reveal itself to him now. And with that thought, he pointed his D-tector at it, and watched as the totem entered the digivice. A quick look at the screen revealed that the totem was indeed in there.
"Well that was that. I guess it's time to see if this will work. Slide Evolution" Jimmy's body began to glow as a cocoon of data surrounded his body. Then, almost as if he was switching clothes, his active totem changed from that of Bucchiemon to his newly acquired Moosemon one. Which happened to be the form he was in when the data surrounding him disappeared.
"Moosemon?" Crystal asked nervously as she looked at the body of her old friend. It was a completely weird situation for her. Seeing the body of her old guardian, yet knowing in the back of her mind that it wasn't actually him.
Jimmy looked over at Crystal with a small frown. He could only guess what she was going through right now. It was obvious that whoever's spirit totem this was, she was very close to them. It makes him really dislike the nature of being a Spirit Wielder. Using others' power as his own. Others who had family and friends who miss them. Yet what can he do?
