Ingenious Ruins [Digimentle Hunt/Spirit Hunt] (Sanoske)

Rolento shrugged and smiled when Jimmy looked at him, knowing the reason he gotten that glare. It wasn't a devious smile, as he did not mean any insult, nor was it apologetic (If it was he'd have to apologize for "superchunk" and really he wasn't going to be doing that). It was simply his way of saying "Don't let it get to you."
Shin did seem more like the "head" of that particular duo, though, at least to the Ankylomon.
But back to the matter at hand, Jimmy took the totem and became Moosemon, prompting a curious response from Crystal. Sanoske had a rough idea of what totems were, and given that she was quite attached to her bag and what was inside, he could tell it meant something to her. It was, he guessed, like seeing an old friend come back, but wasn't really back.
The best he could do was console her by rubbing her back for a few moments.
^Well... I guess now's a good time to figure out our escape plan...^
Sanoske wasn't too sure how well Jimmy could understand him now. Sure, he was an animal type, but he was a human in digimon form. He probably could understand the Gazimon, though. He hoped.

Crystal blinked as she heard Sanoske spoke. "Right. We got what we came here for. Now we need to find a way out." She then began to look around. Despite what just happened, she needed to focus on finding them a way out more then anything else.
Things weren't much easier on Jimmy side of things. It was odd that he now could suddenly understand Sanoske. Yet it was different somehow. Instead of directly understanding what Sanoske was growling, it felt like there was something in the back of his head that was translating it for him. Could that be the primal part of his mind that Crystal mentioned, or was it something else.
"Wait. I can't believe I didn't think of this before." Crystal suddenly said, resisting the urge to facepalm herself. It was such a simple solution to their problem. "Alright everyone. I think I have the solution to our problem. I need you all to stay behind me, but be careful. This is gonna get a bit messy."
Every since she had taken this form, there was an urge dig in the back of her mind. An urge that has been steadily growing. And now seemed to be a perfect time to give into this urge. With her sharpened claws, she began to dig into the stone floor below her, making quick work on it. It wasn't long before she began being able to make an entrance of a tunnel to be large enough for Sanoske. And while it would take some time to make a tunnel of that size, it should allow them to easily escape from this place with incurring the wraith of those who are waiting just outside for them.

Sanoske stood back and watched Crystal dig through the ground, rather amazed at how well she was at it. Rolento chuckled as he walked up close to the Gazimon.
"A digger, huh? A gal after my own heart."
^I hope you mean in friendly terms.^
"Of course. I said before, I prefer my little Pata! Even if she is a bit catatonic at the moment..."
"Sh...shut up..." she said in a barely audible, weak voice, as if some attempt to defend herself despite knowing he is, for the most part, right. However, seeing this escape plan as more than likely working had managed to relax her a bit.
"Oh, come on, Pata... hey, after this I'll take ya out to dinner, alright?"
"That... s-sounds nice..."
They gave Crystal a bit of time to dig before Rolento would go in with Pata. Given she was the most scared Rolento figured she should be one of the first to safety. Sanoske looked onto Ghost, who remained seated.
^Aren't you coming?^
" Why rush? That's for your escape, not mine."
^Fair enough.^ And so, Sanoske went into the hole.

Jimmy turned towards Ghost as he heard her claim that the tunnel was their escape, not her. "What are you planning on doing?" The spirit wielder asked worried about her. While he did barely knew her, she did help them out, and he didn't want her to do anything risky after the beating she had just received protecting them.
During this, Crystal continued work on her tunnel. It was quite a strange sensation she was having. It felt like the earth itself was talking to her, telling her where exactly to dig. Where the earth will be able to support her rather large tunnel. She could even her the noises of the army of beings above her with her acute hearing. It seemed they were waiting for them to expose themselves from the temple, not knowing that they were sneaking past right under them.
Perfect. This plan was working. Just a little bit further, and they should be able to get away without the Dark Evolution digimon being any the wiser.

Crystal dug and dug, seemingly knowing where to go and what to do. An impressive display for Sanoske and Rolento, both of which now on all fours just so she only had to make a whole big enough for them to move through, but not necessarily stand in. However, the Ankylomon figured he would bring up a conversation just to kill time.
"So, chunk..."
^House.^ Sanoske sharply replied, although from his tone his response was moreso just giving up on trying to get him to stop and simply resorting to sticking with his own nickname for him. In any case, Rolento continued on without missing a beat.
"You and Crystal seem rather chummy. How long have you've known each other?"
^Is this really the time to get into th- ... ...I'm going to assume whatever witty retort you had is going to tick me off so... not too long. Not more than a couple months? But we've only really traveled together for, what, less than 2 weeks?^ ---
Ghost gave Jimmy a confused look, needing a second to register what he just asked her.
"What are you talking about? I'm going to do what everyone else is doing, leave. I can go through walls, remember? I don't really need a tunnel to get out. But if it'll make you feel better, I'll go out with you right now. But..."
Ghost got up and leaped onto Jimmy's back, no permission or warning or anything. Once on, she would giggle a bit. "Hope you don't mind, but I figured I should still take it easy and not be all wall phase-y for now and save my energy. Unless you want to stay in here so I can be trapped in a room with a Moosemon."

((Sorry, but I seem to have missed what the reference is )) Jimmy found himself straining a little as Ghost suddenly jumped onto his back. He hadn't even taken his first step as a Moosemon yet, and he's already being ridden on like a horse of some kind. Was this some kind of cruel punishment for him just being worried about her? Well it seems like he didn't have much choice in the matter. Hopefully he didn't end up tripping. This is his first time walking on four limbs after all. In fact, for that reason, he was kind of planning on changing back to his human form to make going into the tunnel. Yet that didn't seem like a good plan anymore. "Fine... Just be aware this is mine first time walking on four limbs. So this might be a little bumpy." He warned her before attempting to walk. One careful step, followed by another, followed by another. Soon he was confident enough to walk normally through the tunnel. It kind of surprised Jimmy how easy walking on four legs came to him. Could it have something to do with the nature of digivolution, or was Jimmy just over thinking this whole thing? Crystal continued to dig the tunnel until she believed that they were a safe distance from the tunnel and the horde waiting just outside it. She then dug an exit that ended up leading them somewhere in the middle of jungle. And judging from the lack of red flowers around, away from the digimon that called this place home. "Fresh air. How I missed you?" She said as she left her tunnel and stretched. While she enjoyed digging, it was just nice to not be trapped in a temple surrounded by digimon that wanted to kill her anymore.

As Ghost enjoyed her ride (She always liked riding on digimon, and Jimmy was the only one without any romantic ties and ride-able), the others walked through the tunnel. Once they made it out, Rolento took a deep breath as well. Pata even became less nervous.
"Oh dear, oh dear, so glad to be out. But shouldn't we keep going? In case they look over here? I'm also feeling quite weary..."
"We have a bit of time, at least... but sure, we can go on. Just let us say by to everyone in person, alright?"
Sanoske, who had just got out of the hole and looked around before sitting by Crystal, scratched his head at hearing they were leaving.
"I have to consider my friend, here, I don't want to put her through too much stress in one day, so might as well head off to somewhere less... murderous, you know?"
^I understand.^
" But, personally... it's been a blast for the most part. Got a good work out, met a few cool guys and gals... I'd love if we ran into each other again. Probably wouldn't be hard to miss ya..."
Garroooo...^I get it, I'm "chunky". Why do you have to keep rubbing it in?^[/color]
"I was going to refer to the fact that you're a tall, striped, winged Gazimon who mainly growls. You stand out."

((Ahh... Now I get it. Sorry. Never watch Invader Zim.))
Crystal gave a small chuckle as Rolento mentioned how Sanoske stands out. "You have to admit he has you there Sanoske." She told him lightheartedly. Sanoske's appearance did make him easily stand out in the middle of a room. Yet that is just one of the many reasons she loves him. After that lighthearted moment though, she took on a slightly more serious attitude. "But anyways, we probably should get moving. While I tried to put us as far away from them as possible, there's no telling when they may grow wise of our escape." She advised before noticing that a couple members of their group is missing, "Hey. Where's Jimmy and Ghost?"
At that time, Jimmy finally exited the tunnel with Ghost still on his back. "Ugh... Why did that tunnel have to be so tight?" He complained as he took deep breathes.
"What took you so long Jim?" Shin suddenly stated as he appeared to have exited while the others were chatting among themselves. Jimmy gave the Falcomon a cold stare, though whether it was towards the fact that he called Jimmy Jim or towards the question itself was hard to tell.
"Well it's good to see we're all here. I guess this is where we all have to part ways." Crystal mentioned as she reminded herself of her mission. She needed to save Pure from that Hylden as soon as possible. They can't afford to spend any more time in this place.

Sanoske, even to his surprise, managed to growl out canned laughter, but he was taking it well enough. [b}^Okay, fine, he did get me...^[/b] He crossed his arms as Crystal made a comment similar to Rolento's, as far as getting away from this place as soon as they could is concerned.
Jimmy and Ghost were the last ones through, the former seemingly a bit winded. After he spoke with Shin, Ghost rubbed Jim's head and gave him a little smooch before getting off.
"You did well. Thank you, Jimmy, you did well for a new moosey. But Crystal is right, we gotta go. Us three have our own affairs we must attend to, and we kinda got sidetracked longer than we would have liked. "
"Then don't let us stop you guys. We're heading off. See you some other time."
"Bye-bye, you two!"
Rolento and Pata went off at a fair pace. Certainly they would not take their time leaving the area they were attacked in, so the Ankylomon wasted no time in getting out. Sanoske went back onto all fours to let Crystal onto his own back.
^Jimmy, Shin, we appreciate your help.^

Jimmy wasn't exactly sure how to feel about Ghost rubbing the top of his head and giving him a smooch. Sure it was nice in a way, but he couldn't feel like it was a little degrading. As if she saw him more as a horse then someone who just gave her a ride. Ehh... Maybe he's just putting to much thought into it.
"It's no problem at all Sanoske, but yeah. We have somewhere we have to be as well. Yet I hope we get a chance to talk the next we meet Crystal. I would like to learn more about who your friend is." Jimmy told them as he dedigivolved back to his human form. He really did wish they could talk now, but it didn't seem like that was going to happen. Hopefully they'll be able to talk again sometime soon.
Crystal nodded as she returned to her Lopmon form. "Same." It felt odd knowing that the boy she spoke to was in possession of her lifelong guardian's spirit totem. She wonder why exactly Moosemon choose him. For as long as she knew him, he always seemed to dislike and distrust humans. Was it all a ruse, or did he see something in Jimmy that changed his mind? She wished she knew.
With that though, Jimmy and Shin began heading their separate direction. With Shin saying, "You just had to return to your human form. You gave that ghost woman a ride, but won't give you close friend one." Before vanishing into the distance.
"Well that was an interesting experience." Crystal told the others as she climbed onto Sanoske's back. While it hurt to know that she just lost her age old guardian again, she wanted to focus on the task at hand. Saving Pure from the one who is possessing his body. "Ghost. Are you okay to keep moving?" She asked wanting to make sure that their companion was alright after the beating she took for them before they head off. It was a bit unnerving watching her ride Jimmy like she did, and while Ghost seemed to have recover some, she wanted to be sure.

With the groups splitting up, it was now just Crystal, Sanoske, and Ghost again. He kinda wished she stayed in her Armor champion form but, well, might be better if she didn't potentially have the ability to cut his fur on accident. Oh well. It was indeed an interesting experience, with Sanoske and Ghost affirming the Lopmon's statement in agreement.
Crystal had then asked if Ghost was okay, and she chuckled. She moved her arms a bit, stretching, but her movements were slightly strained.
"Truthfully, I feel pretty sore all over, but I'm rested enough to at least move around. Even if I wasn't, the less risk of fighting off all those tribe digimon again, the better, so let's get going, huh?"
Sanoske remained low as Ghost got on his back, and standing up on all fours again once she was on. Taking up a brisk pace, he headed back towards the path the group was originally taking, keeping an eye out for any of those crazed digimon.

Generally speaking, I would think that Jimmy would require his human spirit to use his beast spirit of the same line, but since I'm not and Jimmy's currently looking for that one with me, I'll let it go.
Approved.
EDIT: Just to clarify, both hunts are approved.
EDIT EDIT: Forget I said anything about a beast spirit, I forgot Moosemon was actually his Beast Fraction. Either way, I guess this is okay.
