The scent of blood, sweat, metal, and sulfur was invading Yomi's nostrils.
She found herself in an open field, surrounded by many white winged figures. In her hand, there was a sword. The figures also had swords. Before she could realize what was going on, they charged. Her hands moved as if on their own will, striking at the white shadows, dispelling one after another with every blow. She moved, fast, avoiding the white lances and swords pointed to her. Striking down and dispelling the figures, until there was only one left.
The girl felt out of breath, her chest heaving up and down, even hurting slightly from overexertion. And yet, her body took a stance, lifting the blade above her head. Yomi managed to look down on herself, a little. Taller, stronger too. Her chest was covered with a black plate, and a metal helmet clung to her face too. The white creature mirrored her stance, and for the moment, both were still. Circling one another, changing stances, moving their feet a little. As if measuring one another up.
Then, in a flash, it happened. She and the figure charged towards one another, striking simultaneously. A loud metal ring pierced her hearing, the picture in front of her blurring, losing color.
With a gasp, Yomi woke up.
The girl's eyes soon refocused, revealing to her the place she was at. The tent, it was. The same she was brought to before. Memories slowly coming back to her. She remembered going with Kathy to the mountains, to find the spirit. Remembered finding it, too. A sword, with a strange-looking eye. But then... it all went blank.
"I... huh?" - Yomi muttered, narrowing her eyes a little, as she often did when not wearing glasses. Being afflicted with nearsightedness, the girl was unable to discern anything farther than one meter away. But... things were different, somehow. She could see the entire place, both near and far, with great acuity. The smallest details of the tent's fabrics, the sink on the other side of the room and the brush she left there. For a little while, Yomi looked at the world with wide, bright eyes, amazed at how detailed the textures were. Bringing her hands up, the girl rubbed her eyes. But something felt... odd. Pulling her hands back, she looked at them.
And realized that they too, have changed. Instead of five slender fingers, there were three thick digits. Three. Her eyes widened, the brain slowly processing just what was going on, and soon giving the only command made sensible in this situation. In three, two, one...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
A shrill shriek of terror went through the construction camp.

Chapter IV: The War of Terminus
Episode 5 (Part 2): Woe is me! Yomi's spirit strikes!
Since Yomi had tried going through that portal, she had definitely spent more time sleeping than actually awake. First, after the shock, she had slept for more than 24 hours. Now, almost twenty hours had passed since Katherine and Jazz had flown back to their tent, at the Deeplane City Council settlement. This time, carrying a digimon. It was another morning. Katherine had brushed her teeth, changed out of her pajamas and made breakfast. Jazz was supposed to take care of Yomi during half of the day, while she worked along Bastian. Then, Katherine would tag and would take care of their friend during the evening. “I’m going now.” Katherine took out her digivice, ready to open a portal in a minute, and giving a quick hug to Jazz. “If Yomi wakes up, just let me know, okay?” The Renamon was sleeping idly over the same bed Yomi had used during all of these days. Jazz nodded and waved her goodbyes at the tamer. The Chohakkaimon spent most of the morning training outside, just moving her mace and practicing moves. She sat over the dirt and let out a sigh as her hammer disappeared in her right hand. Gosh, this was boring. Nei didn’t really like to train with her and since she had to take care of Yomi, she couldn’t go anywhere else. If only she would wake u… Before the pig-girl could even finish that thought, a squeal startled her. Well, it had happened. The Chohakkaimon rushed back into the tent and found Yomi, horrified at her own looks. “You’re awake, Yomi!” The Chohakkaimon greeted the girl with a grin. Okay, so… this was normal, right? Jasso had said Yomi would be panicking when she woke up. And it seemed like she was! “Y-Yes… you’re… a Digimon now. This is your sprite form, as some call it. Don't worry! It's very likely you'll be back at your human form eventually. ” Jazz tilted her head, staring at Renamon. Maybe she was oversimplifying things. “I would say you look pretty cool now. I wonder if you’re strong…” She raised her gaze, thinking. Okay, so… this had to be shocking for Yomi, no doubt. But… Katherine and Jazz had already warned her this could happen right? Since they discovered she had a D-Tector, they all knew it was very likely this moment would come sooner or later.

Upon arriving to Yomi's tent, Jazz would find her standing in front of a mirror.
She looked upon her features with wide, terrified, and yet slightly curious eyes, as she felt her face with both of these clunky hands. The girl had to treat very carefully when brushing against the chin, the nose, or those twitching and pointy ears. Feeling that these hands were capable of breaking things easily. When the Chokkaimon arrived, Yomi turned to face her.
"Woe is me. I have become... A FURRY."
The renamon then gasped, putting both hands over her mouth. "My voice... it is... lower, somehow." - Yomi spoke again. It was still feminine, and fairly recognizable too, but just... older. Like that of a woman, not a girl. It was strange. But not the strangest thing that happened to the poor Earth-dwelling girl this day. She walked, carefully, as the way the knees were bending now was strange and unusual. But... not uncomfortable.
"This is so weird... I have three fingers now... And a tail, a tail! It feels... wrong, in all kinds of ways. And I..."
The fox fell silent again. If a creature with fur on her face could blush, her face would have been red right now. In less than a moment, Yomi's arm was covering her chest, while the wail was used as a makeshift skirt to cover her lower body. She backed away a bit, looking back and forth, panicky, before the second yelp of confusion echoed throughout the camp:
"WHERE DID MY CLOTHES GO?!"

“A… what, now?” Slowly tilting her head, Chohakkaimon questioned the meaning of Yomi’s statement. Why did it feel like she had heard that word before? Whatever was the case, she wasn’t sure what a ‘furry’ was. Maybe something with… fur? Yomi did have some of that right now. A lot, even.
Jazz just watched the whole charade take place, as Yomi discovered how her anatomy and her voice had changed as a whole. It was… a bit funny, that much couldn’t be denied.
“I-It’s not wrong! I think you look super cool!” Jazz made a pause, while she admired Yomi’s new form. “I had seen a couple of Renamon from when I lived in the desert but I had definitely never seen a black one! According to Jasso’s D-Terminal, you’re a virus type, so that’s pretty interesting considering…” Jazz kept muttering, a hand around her chin while she examined the beast’s body.
It didn’t take long for the digimon to interrupt her with a squeal. What was she… doing? Jazz stared at Renamon with a countenance that denoted that thought exactly. “What’s… wrong?” She asked, while the fox tried to cover some parts of her body. Again, another wail.
“What do you mean?” The Chohakkaimon’s green eyes examined the parts Yomi was covering. “You… Oh!” She then realized what the teenager was trying. Unavoidably, she chuckled. “You don’t have to cover those! You’re not a human anymore. No one would be aroused by a digimon that has some human features! … I think.” Jazz just added that because, for some reason, she felt maybe that could happen? Who knows?
“In any case, you don’t need clothes when you’re a digimon, silly!” She dismissed Yomi’s worriedness by waving her hand. “I mean…” There was a bit of a clarification to be made. “… Some of us have it! But the rest of my forms don’t use clothes, and we don’t need them. I think your clothes will be back when you come back to your human form.” Was she sure enough about this? Probably not. “I wonder when that might be, though.” Again a pensive expression made its way to her face.
“Can you try coming back? Maybe using your digivice?” It would definitely help if the girl could go back being a human. It would stop the ‘freaking out’ part, at least. However, Jazz’s Chohakkaimon form wasn’t exactly good at calming people down or making them feel better. A proof for that would probably be the pig-girl’s next comment.
“You do look… very pretty.”
Yes. That was probably inappropriate, considering the situation.

Jazz was more effective at calming people down than she gave herself credit for.
Her incessant blabbering did manage to get Yomi distracted from trying to hide herself and trying to figure out where her clothes went. Even if she did bring up points that from the girl's still very much human point of view were absolutely ridiculous. She arched her eyebrow, hearing a tirade about clothes.
"What do you mean you don't need clothes?! It's for modesty! You wear clothes, the Witchmon did too! What if I need to bend over or do some other movement and somebody sees my... my..."
The girl's eyes widened as she inadvertently pressed the hand she was using to cover her crotch a bit into the fur, only to discover that... that...
"There's ... nothing ... there?"
And not in a good way. For a moment of time, Yomi was left absolutely flabbergasted. Whatever happened to her left her... emasculated? Defeminated? Both? A dreadful realization came upon her, as NOW she realized why Jazz said digimon did not need clothes. The girl felt her legs becoming weak, as she fell on her rear on the floor, looking at herself with an even more bewildered stare.
"What the hell is going on... Am I even a girl now? How am I supposed to..." - she muttered, her thoughts going into wrong directions, before bolting up unto her feet, when the Chokkaimon mentioned the D-tector. And with her pockets being gone, Yomi had no idea where it.
"The wretched thing! Yes! We did not leave it behind in that cave, did we? Where oh where could it be..." - the fox digimon muttered as she turned her bed over to find it. Eventually, she did find it, glued to her back and not letting go, as always. She must have been sleeping on it. Taking it, the renamon tried to figure out a way to change herself back. It was then when she encountered her first problem.
*Poke* *Poke* ... *Bzzzt...*
"Dammit. My fingers are too fat to press these tiny buttons." - Yomi let out an exacerbated sigh, when the Chokkaimon chimed in and called her pretty. The fox recoiled back, as it pulling her hand away from something boiling, before looking at the suit-wearing digimon again.
"I ... well..." - she did not know what to say, looking herself over again. The fur had a nice, healthy sheen to it, and the tail was bushy and fluffy. But before she could overthink it too much, Yomi presented the device to the other digimon.
"Can you try and change me back? I cannot press the buttons..."

Even if she wasn’t really good at it, if Jazz was going to try to calm Yomi, she would give her best effort.
“Many digimon don’t wear them.” The Chohakkaimon moved both her suited paws, a bit nervous. “The clothes are not there to cover anything. In most cases, they are a part of our digital structure. Remember? We talked about it back in the cave.” It was probably unlikely she would remember something like that out of the bat right now, but it was a good time to help her with it.
“A… girl.” That was a complex question. Okay! Jazz liked this game! “You’re neither a girl or a boy right now. You’re a digimon. Some of us have traits akin to a certain gender like our voice or the shape of our bodies. In a strict sense, we do not have a gender, but humans prefer to see us as female or male depending on our physical characteristics. However, we do not have sexual organs that can put us in either category.” Was she doing a good job? The pig girl crossed her arms, thinking on how to provide a better explanation.
“Humans consider me a female digimon through all of my forms so far. Even if they have doubts with some, especially the most 'beastly' ones.” She explained. “I have never seen a human interact with a Renamon before but… let’s see…” Jazz approached her and took a good look at Renamon’s anatomy, going as far as grabbing her by her right arm and giving her a little spin. “If I’ve learned anything about humans before, I would say you would definitely qualify as a female digimon for them.”
Yomi started looking for her D-Tector, in order to try getting back to her human form.
“We couldn’t leave it even if we wanted to, the thing doesn’t want to leave your side.” Jazz shrugged. Then, she noticed the object stuck to the Renamon’s back. “There.” She pointed at the artifact with a smile.
Handling the thing to her… might not have been the best idea.
“M-Me? Have you seen… these!?” The hog extended one of her paws to Renamon, while she held the gadget with the other one. Yomi would quickly notice they were… huge. Very similar to the ones of a pig in shape. “It actually took me a while to learn to grab most stuff.” The hoofs started… moving! Actually, as if they were fingers.
“But… actually pressing buttons might be a bit…” The attempt to distance the D-Tector with her left paw and try to press a button with the tip of her right paw proved to be futile. Jazz let out a sigh.
“Aaaaaanyways!” She quickly incorporated. “I think it’s not about pressing buttons! Who needs those? I think it’s about that… thing!” While she spoke, she raised her arms and moved them around, like a kid explaining a sci-fi movie. “You move the D-Tector and a code of energy goes out! Like this!” Now, she swung the object from left to right, even going as far as bouncing around the same spot.
“Like… Swooosh! Swooosh!”
That... clearly wasn’t working. Again, another sigh.
“I’m sorry.” Jazz handled the object back to Yomi. She now seemed a bit sad.
“Can you concentrate and try to speak to them, maybe? Most spirit users can speak to their spirits.”
They were out of leads, and they needed to know what the spirit wanted from them now.

The two fiddled with the device for a while, poking it, flailing it, swinging it, and doing all sorts of other things to try and make it work. It left both upset and exasperated. "I think I'm starting to see why the Witchmon priced my fingers so much..." - Yomi grumbled. Eventually though, it was becoming more and more evident that the spirit did not want to talk to either of them. The device glared back at both of them, looking almost mocking, before the renamon eventually gave up and just placed it on her hip, letting it stick.
"So... neither a boy nor a girl huh..." - the girl said sourly, while idly pawing at her mane. This entire experience felt so... weird. And she still couldn't use with the fifth appendage growing out of her lower back, and moving as if having its own will, sometimes. Right now it was swooshing all around the place, forcing Yomi to capture it in her arms instead.
"Nhhh... I cannot go home like this! Mother would have a heart attack the moment she'd see me. I look like a Youkai of some kind. And father would probably try to cut me with his cheap wallhanger katana... And then have a heart attack..." - she muttered, trying to figure out what to do.
"I can't go to friends either... Kaya will be traumatized, so would be everyone else... Takeko-san will ... probably pet me to death." - Yomi shuddered, before looking at Jazz again. That girl had been eyeing her oddly the moment she woke up as this ... thing. She returned the stare, looking at each other for a little bit of time.
"What?"

Slowly, the duo of digimon inside the tent was running out of options. It didn’t matter how much Yomi swung the D-Tector or she tried to talk to the spirit, the thing just… didn’t seem to be interested in responding right now. Rude. After being so insistent on her getting this form and then just not wanting to tell her what’s next? That was not nice!
While Yomi pondered about what other humans would say about her looking like this if she actually showed up at the Human World, a lot of different thoughts came to Jazz’s head. One of these was that it was likely the damn digivice wouldn’t let the girl go back home anyway, so worrying about that was probably a waste of time! Yet still, she didn’t manage to say anything that was on her mind at the moment. Instead… she just stared at Renamon.
The fox’s tail wiggled so gracefully it was almost hypnotizing. When she grabbed it to stop it from doing so, she only looked cuter! Slowly, a faint blush started appearing around Jazz’s cheeks
Could that book about human biology that Katherine gave to her be of any use to explain this? Probably not. She had asked for that book to understand human interactions and what Katherine called ‘arousal’, after all! This was different! Mainly because neither of them was a human right now.
So… what was this, even?
Hard to tell. For some reason, she just couldn’t stop looking at this digimon. It perfectly combined Yomi’s cuteness with Renamon’s grace. Jazz’s core started to race just from seeing her!
And just like that… she got busted while blatantly staring at the fox. Jazz’s eyes widened up and what was previously a light pink tonality around her cheeks turned into bright red.
“I-I’m sorry!” She quickly lowered her gaze, placing her hands on her face to cover the blush around her cheeks. “I was just a bit startled at how you look!” The pace Jazz spoke with only turned faster with every sentence she uttered. All of this while she constantly tried to fix whatever she was saying. “I mean…! Not because you look bad or anything! Y-You actually happen to look gorgeous! Which obviously makes me think about a lot of stuff!” She just couldn’t stop now. “N-Not bad stuff, of course! J-Just beginning to question some things about the way digimon act and if it’s possible to feel certain things towards another digimon.” She was probably overusing the word 'things'. Taking her hand to the back of her head, she just started to nervously giggle. All of this while she just spoke faster and faster. Was she… sweating? If digimon could do such things, she was.
“B-Because I think that’s silly, of course! We don’t feel those kinds of stuff so it absolutely makes no sense for me to think about making those things I’ve seen human do in movies like…” suddenly, she started lowering the pace of her words, as she realized what she was saying. Unfortunately, it was too late.
“… kissing.”
What. Did she just say she wanted to…? Oh god. Whatever trace of blushing that had previously disappeared from her face while she spoke just came back. Stronger than ever.
“I-I need a moment!” The Chohakkaimon left the tent immediately.
Yes. She just… needed some fresh air.

Yomi's ears twitched as she arched an eyebrow, seeing the Chokkaimon get red in the face and flail about. The faster she was talking the less sense she was making. Was she startled? Did she look bad? Or gorgeous? Or both? Something about human movies? The newly-made Renamon could not quite catch all of it, but before she knew it, the strange digi-girl already ran off, asking for a moment! Leaving the fox completely confused and flabbergasted.
"I... whaaa?" - the girl blinked a few times, before approaching the mirror. Looking at herself again and touching her face.
"I'm not looking THAT bad, aren't I?"
I still need to do something about clothes though...
The fox thought, as she looked around for something... anything that would work. The only thing she could find was the checkered blanket she slept under. It looked cozy, bedroom-like, and somewhat out of place, but... It'd have to do. Yomi wrapped it around herself and over her head, like a cloak with a hoodie, and held it together at her neck, as she walked out like a little red riding hood, only not little, not red, but... with a hood! Of sorts!
"Jazz! Where are you? Kathy?" - the Renamon called out the only two names she knew in this joint, but it seemed the Chokkaimon hid somewhere, and Kathy was not around. Confused, she decided to go look for them, all while wearing the blanket to cover herself. Catching more than a few surprised looks and snickers from other people in the camp along the way.

Working along Bastian was always tiring. Even if it was extremely exciting, it represented a true challenge for Katherine’s intelligence. The Ballistamon knew a lot about a lot of stuff and it was as if she was constantly being tested! Having fun had never been so exhausting for the Spaniard.
Today, she had been in charge of one of the two parts of the project: decrypting the map that led to the Drum Sanctuary. It required a bunch of code analysis and concentration, by using a sophisticated computer. It also had to be done carefully, since they needed to get the exact location. This work had been interrupted by the sound of Jazz’s voice on her digivice.
“Jasso! Yomi is awake.”
A small grin appeared in Katherine’s face as she took the gadget out of her pocket and spoke into it. “That’s great to hear! How’s she doing?” Silence, coming from the other end. After some seconds, Jazz finally spoke again. “I… think she’s a bit startled. At least she was when I left her back in the tent.” The Spaniard’s expression wrinkled. “Why did you leave her there by herself.” Silence, once again. “What!? I-It’s not like I want to kiss her or anything, you fool! Just go see her, now!”
The Chohakkaimon cut the communication.
… What?
Bastian had said she should go see how her friend was doing. In all honesty, she was a bit concerned too, so Katherine opened up a portal and came back into the tent; not before 'portaling' to Whitewater to buy lunch. Yomi wasn’t at the tent anymore. Katherine put the paper bags she was carrying over a crate and walked outside, looking for the former teenager
As a matter of fact, she should look for Jazz too.
Yomi would wander for a while before actually finding one of her friends. The Deeplane City Council didn’t have many members, so only a few would actually catch a glance of the oddly-dressed Renamon. Sooner than later, she would hear Jazz’s voice, once again.
“I finally know what I have to do, Yomi!” The Chohakkaimon was standing some meters behind the hooded fox, pointing at her with her right paw. “Before getting to this form, when I felt terribly exhausted, I used to go back to my previous forms, even without wanting it.” She explained, making a short pause while she made her hammer materialize and grabbed it. “So all we need to do is fighting to make you exhausted. If we fight and drain all of your energies, I’m sure you’ll go back to your human form in the blink of an eye!"
Even if this wasn’t a bad idea, Jazz was just dealing with these weird feelings she got from looking at Renamon the only way she knew: Fighting!
“So… ready or not...!” Jazz stretched her legs and bounced a couple of times in the same spot, before charging at Yomi. “Here I come!” Was she actually trying to hurt the girl? Not at all, but she was trying to get her to move, at least. However, she would be stopped halfway there by the sound of her tamer's voice.
“Jazz!”
Katherine's shout startled the pig-girl, making her trip and fall face-first into the ground.
"What in the world are you doing?"
The Spaniard had arrived just in time.

Yomi's lurk through the campsite did not help, much.
Her appearance drew a few bewildered looks and a few chuckles, but nobody seemed to have seen Kathy around. The renamon's pace was getting quicker and quicker, as one after another, she was running out of people to ask. She did not leave me here all alone, did she? No, it cannot be, her digimon is still around. Without it she'd be as helpless as I am...
But these thoughts were interrupted as she, once more, heard Jazz's voice from behind. Turning around to face her. It seemed that the pink digimon had an idea to turn her back into a human. A very ... bizzarre idea. Yomi was still processing it, when suddenly Jazz pulled out a hammer. And the renamon's bright blue eyes became wide as plates.
"Hey! Wait wait wait wait WAIT!" - she backpedaled as Jazz started advancing on her with a weapon. It was huge! Looked like it could break every bone in her body if she'd get hit! Unable to figure out how serious the girl was, Yomi decided to make a run for it.
Zzzzip!
Only the blanket she wore for a cloak remained in the air, as in less than a second she covered a good deal of ground and bolted up a tree, hiding in its wilted leaves. It was a surprice anything was capable of growing in these parts anyway. But what was even more surprising was... how fast did the entire thing happen. The tree was almost 20 feet high, and the renamon managed to scale it as if it were a ladder! Faster, even. She panted a little, looking around and realizing how high she was. Panic and self-preservation instinct kicking in soon after, making the fox cling to the trunk of the tree without letting go.
The renamon's ears twitched, however, as she heard a familiar voice coming around. A sigh of relief escaping her.
"Kathy! Thank Kami you're here! I... I was trying to find you! And then Jazz tried to hit me with a hammer! I don't know what's gotten into her!" - Yomi replied from above, before trying to feel anything down below with a foot, and realizing there was nothing to place it upon.
"A-and... I think I'm... stuck."
On a tree. Like a cat. If Yomi could blush right now, she would.

While Jazz hit the ground face-first, Katherine just stared amazed at Renamon, on top of the three. “S-So fast!” She managed, a bit shocked. Instincts were really something else! The Renamon had managed to get out of Jazz’s reach within a matter of seconds and she was now high above. From shock to excited, Katherine’s eyes glimmered. “You’re so cool, Yomi!” She exclaimed, putting her hands together.
Still, that was rude of Jazz! You can’t go trying to clobber people with your giant hammer. The teenager walked by the Chohakkaimon who was still laying face down on the ground. She approached the tree and raised her gaze.
“Are you okay?” She asked, tilting her head. “Please excuse her, she tends to be like that. Although this might be too much, even for her…” What was going on with Jazz? Katherine’s eyes went to the Chohakkaimon, then back up to her friend. And what was that thing she said about... kissing her? That would be a topic to discuss later on, anyway. Right now, Katherine let out a sigh. Just like a cat, Yomi had gotten up a tree, and didn’t know how to come down.
It was a bit of a funny situation, no doubt. “You’re a digimon now. You won’t get hurt if you fall from that height.” It should be obvious by now, even if Yomi probably wouldn’t see it that way. Once again, the Spaniard’s green eyes went to her partner. “Jazz, come here and catch Yomi.”
“S-Sure.”
After a while, the Chohakkaimon stood up and walked towards the foot of the tree, extending her arms in front of her. “Okay. I’m ready. Jump!”
“It’ll be okay.” The human showed a tender smile to her friend. “I won’t let you get hurt.”
Worst case scenario, Jazz could evolve into Hippogriffomon and get her down. But hopefully, that wouldn’t be necessary, would it?

Yomi remained on top of the tree, as Kathy and Chokkaimon exchanged ideas about how to get her down. She considered both rather incredulous. While it was true her Renamon body was apparently much more capable than her normal one... Looking down, it was still a pretty long jump! But when the digimon girl appeared below, offering her arms, the fox narrowed her eyes in suspicion.
"Somehow I don't trust a person who was trying to hit me with a giant hammer a few moments ago..." - the renamon muttered, mostly to herself, but enough to be heard.
"Besides! I-if I jump on your hands it'd mean I'll just come crashing into you..."
A few more moments of hesitation, before the girl waved with one hand for Jazz to step away, as she was holding unto the trunk with the other. "Get back! I'm... I'm gonna jump. Are you guys sure there's no ladder? There's got to be a ladder..." - Yomi reconsidered a few times, before finally braving to do it. Taking a deep breath, she pushed away from the tree with both legs while letting go at the same time. The push propelled her a few meters into the air, before the fox went down.
POMF!
It was... a surprisingly soft landing, all things considered. Yomi was so surprised she lost balance just because of how easy it felt, and ended up landing on her rear anyway, looking rather goofy as a result. And amazed too, looking at Jazz and Kathy with her wide blue eyes.
"Ohh... oh wow... I thought I'd break both my legs... But it felt like I skipped off a doorstep..." - the girl said, her voice a bit distant, as she looked at her hands and her body again, standing up.
"This form is... much more capable than... what I used to be..."

Well, Jazz heard that! The Chohakkaimon puffed her cheeks and took both hands to her hips, looking at the Renamon above the tree.
“Excuse me, but I’m not a person who was trying to hit you with a giant hammer.” She clarified. “I’m a digimon who was trying to hit you with a giant hammer. And you’re a digimon too!” Oops. She had stared at Yomi for too long again. The pig-girl had to look elsewhere to hide the very obvious blush forming around her cheeks.
“W-Whatever… just do what you want.” She declared, taking a few steps away from her tamer and taking a sit on the ground, her arms crossed. She had made the Roketto Dingpa disappear some seconds ago, after she stood up.
Katherine kept her chin up, looking at her friend trying to gather the courage to take the leap. Finally, she did it! Due to her nervousness, the landing ended up being a bit messy. She seemed overall fine.
The Spaniard seemed a bit confused, though. “If you thought you’d break both of your legs… w-why did you jump?” That didn’t sound like a very good idea. Katherine knew she was going to be fine all along, but if Yomi wasn’t sure, then jumping sounded like a terrible course of action! Well, that was that. What mattered right now was that her friend was in one piece. Actually… she looked great!
“You look so cool!” It wasn’t a secret that both Katherine and Jazz were fascinated at the whole concept of Spirit Users. “Your voice is more mature and you look like a graceful, strong digimon. I love it.” She noted, staring at Yomi's new form. Then, she took her index finger to her lower lip. “Well, of course you’re a lot more capable of doing that kind of stuff. But… I guess you must feel very weird right now, considering it’s your first time. Have you considered trying to speak with your spirit to see what do they want you to do next?”
“We tried. No luck.” Jazz’s voice raised right after the curly-haired girl’s words. She was still not looking at them.
“That’s terrible. We really should think about a way of getting you back.” Well, it was obvious her journey was not over. “Could it be the spirit only wanted you to find your sprite form so he could come back to life inside of you?” Right now, any deduction was valid. “If he doesn’t want you to do anything else… do you think you can try going back home? What do you want to do?” She asked her friend. Of course, any option they could take into account was conditioned to the fact of Yomi going back to her human form.

Yomi just stood there, shocked of Kathy and Jazz's reactions.
Although they both said that was terrible that she could not turn back, both of them were ... admiring her new form? As they did it, the fox moved her arms in front of herself, as if trying to feel every new muscle in them that she had. And there was ... plenty to go around. Cool, mature, and graceful, huh? It was so strange to hear these words addressed to oneself. She was still a teenage girl, only 16, to be called these words. Yomi used those to describe adults. Was she an adult now?
These questions had to remain unanswered for now, as Kathy brought her back with a more present question. The renamon blinked and looked at her. Go home? Should I go home? Like this? The fox shook her head, ears falling flat against her elongated skull. Eyes closing, and hands clenching into fists.
"Home? No no... I cannot go home, not like this... If anyone sees me like this, they'd think they've gone insane! Or worse..."
The girl paced back and forth, looking down, then up, as if trying to come up with something. Hands gesticulating, to nobody in particular, and mouth opening, then closing, as if about to say something.
"I must turn back to normal, somehow... It... it has to be the spirit! If it prevented me from going through the portal in the first place, it could be keeping me in this form on purpose! For some sort of reason... But it refused to talk in any way. This black thingymabob is useless!"
Exacebrated, Yomi sat on the ground, scratching the back of her head.
"Before, it communicated with me through dreams... To find the field of swords, and its sword. Now that we found it... it wants ... something else."
