Name: The Cursed Mistletoe
MPC Scenario: Aw, is that time of the year again! But... everything is upside down! For some kind of reason, your character has to spend Christmas Eve with someone they never would spend it with! Either in a romantic evening with someone that isn't their canon pairing or hanging out with a friend they are not actually that close with. Whether it is a dream, an alternate dimension or just an unfortunate outcome, how is Christmas Eve going to develop in this type of situation?
Extra Notes: If people want to do this alone they can use an NPC that's just nothing like their character.

Name: The Great Digimental Switcharoo
MPC Scenario: Normally, we limit Digimentals to 2 per account, no more, no less, but in this MPC, inspired by the Digimon Adventure 02: Michi e no Armor Shinka drama CD, we're giving you a chance to switch things around. Whenever purposely or accidentally, you and another player will switch Digimentals/sprite spirits/incomplete Xroses around, giving you unexpected solutions to challenging puzzles, new ways to fight challenging Digimon, or just to experiment with the other player. Anything is fair game... as long as you and your partner switch things up.
Extra Notes: You'll need to have at least 2 players for this MPC. Also, when choosing which Digimon to use for the borrowed Digimentals, make sure you submit their new form like you'd do an NPC (although expect this to be a bit more lax in nature because all MPC NPCs are meant to be For Fun only)

MPC Scenarion: Your character(s) are in an interview, be it for some form of news outlet, or a job! What kind of questions are they being asked, and optionally, who is interviewing them? Try to ask your characters the tough questions, pick their brains a bit!
Extra Notes: If it's a coop mpc, the other is free to play an NPC for the interviewer. Alternatively, see what questions other people might want to see answered!

MPC Scenario: A trio of SkullAgumon (skeletal Agumon) have discovered that their bones function as pitch-perfect xylophones. They have started a traveling performance group named Dem Bones that promotes equality amongst humans and digimon. The night before their performance in Terminus, they have all come down with digimonia, and need you to replace them. Go and show off your talent in front of a large, captive, live studio audience.
Secret(if applicable): Dem Bones is judging you harshly.

Name: I am a Shadow, the true self.
MPC Scenario: In Jungian Psychology, the 'Shadow' - also known as the 'Id' or 'Shadow Archetype' - is an unconscious aspect of ourselves that we do not tend to register or recognize. It is the parts of ourselves that we reject or remain ignorant of, and these parts tend to - as a result of such - be the more negative or undesirable parts of our nature (though there can be positive aspects of one's Shadow as well, particularly for those with low self esteem, anxieties, and the such.) It can also be thought of as the link to one's more primal animal instincts, and as aspects that lie outside of conscious recognition.
For this scenario, your character has to face this Shadow of theirs - either figuratively, or quite literally; either being put into a situation where they're forced to recognize these aspects of themselves, or being put into a situation where their Shadow takes on a physical form! Will they accept their own Shadow, or will they reject it?
Extra Notes: (Bonus points if you literally fight your Shadow ala Persona 4)

MPC Scenario: Sometimes, what we want in life is not what we really need - and sometimes, what we want in life is actually quite bad for us as a person! Think about something your character has wanted or striven for, but has unseen consequences - be it a specific goal or object, anything really... And then give it to them, or otherwise let them achieve it. What happens as a result of it? Do they think that what they wanted is worth the consequences, or do they regret going after it? Does this change how other people perceive them, or does this even hurt them in some way? If given the opportunity, how might they try to reverse their decision, or fix it?

This letter could be anything, from anyone, or even to anyone - it could even be the sorts of letters that someone writes but never sends, writing down the feelings and secrets they wish they could share but won't before stashing it away. Who is the one writing this letter? Who is the one receiving it, if anyone? What is the letter about?
Extra Notes: This letter doesn't have to be from character to character - you could write a letter yourself to a given character, or even have a character write to you, or do a thread that is purely from the perspective of the letters that two characters exchange!

MPC Scenarion: Your character has somehow reverted back to their toddler years. Maybe they were cursed by an evil wizard(mon), or they mysteriously woke up that way. Tamers/Spirit Users/Xros Generals turn into little kids aged 5-6 and their Digimon/Spirits/Partners are stuck in Fresh stage. Solo Digimon are also stuck in Fresh stage. Will this affect both their body and mental state, or will their personalities remain the same while in a cuter, cuddlier form? What sort of antics will ensue? It's up to you!
Extra Notes: If doing this MPC with another player, you can choose which one gets kiddie-fied. How will the other deal with having to babysit their friend? Or maybe you both get kiddie-fied! |

Name: Flawed Strengths
MPC Scenarion: Every character has their strengths, and every character has their flaws. It's part of what makes someone relatable or well-rounded, after all! However... what happens, when flaws become strengths, and strengths become flaws? For this MPC, do one of the two following scenarios, or both!
Explore what would happen if you reversed the strengths and flaws that your characters have, so that they're opposites; a strong character is suddenly weak and frail, or a timid character becomes courageous!
Alternatively, take your character's strengths and flaws, and explore situations where a strength might act more like a flaw, or vice versa - such a character's kind and loving nature leading to them hurting themselves just to help others, or a character's scaredy-cat nature leading to them being so careful that they dodge a bullet!

Name: Finish Him! Fatality! MPC Scenario: Did you always wanna write a tragic death scene for your character? Are you perhaps a villain who wants to actually kill the good guy for once? Well, now you can! Character death rarely happens in DFRP's canon, but MPCs don't have to follow any canon. In this MPC you shall do battle with another player, but there is one very important stipulation: You must fight to the death! For Digimon that means permanent deletion, and for humans it means... well, death. Extra Notes: You'll need to have at least 2 players for this MPC. The thread will NOT be considered canon.

Name: Kids in America MPC Scenario: DFRP has been localized by a certain company notorious for its anime dubs! It is now set in America, with all references to Japanese culture completely removed or replaced. No more honorifics. Characters with Japanese names suddenly have similar-sounding American names. Rice balls are now called jelly filled donuts, and all Japanese holidays have been replaced by American holidays while keeping the decorations the same. Digimon can only use their dub names. All references to "death" have been removed, while guns and other weapons have been replaced by more kid-friendly alternatives (like water guns and laser saws).
