"Heh heh thanks! That means a lot to me!" Chirpy beams, his intimidating nature nowhere to be found. "Means a whole lot more than a free handout, that's for sure. But... Drug dealer's house? I'm... not quite sure what you mean by that. But I'll let it slide. Hope everythin's goin' okay for you, because you've made things great for me!"
Soon after they leave, Agumaru leads Adrian and Shoutmon up and down various streets as if navigating a labyrinth. Despite this, he seems like he knows exactly where he's going. "This way this way!" He never gives any signs that they were lost.
Then Shoutmon gets inflicted with devastating ailments - headache and hunger. "Are you okay? Are you... are you sure you still want to go to the music store?" Agumaru gives Shoutmon a look of deep concern. "We can eat first, then go..." He looks pleadingly at Adrian to talk some sense into him.

As they walked, Adrian was a bit concerned with just how well Agumaru claimed he knew the way. From the looks of it, it looked like they were just going around in circles. "I think we're lost, Agumaru..."
Shoutmon tried his best to look like he wasn't going through pain right now when Agumaru asked if he still wanted to go. "Of course I do! I've waited a half hour for food so far, thanks to your talk, and I can handle another half hour, especially if we're going to be looking at music things!"
Adrian shrugged. "I tried asking him already, but you know how freaking stubborn he is. He doesn't care about being hungry right now, he loves music that much. But you're hungry too, you said, right? Maybe if you tried complaining about how much you were hungry, he might change his mind," Adrian tells Agumaru. "Or he'll just tell you to suck it up, either-or. It's worth a shot, but I recommend just leaving him alone about it. If he changes his mind, he changes his mind."

Lost? Agumaru? That's not possible! "I'm not lost! I know exactly where I'm going- I know mostly where I'm going!" His confidence, even with that correction, is unwaning. "We're almost there!"
Poor stubborn Shoutmon doesn't want to give up and eat despite his hunger. Agumaru feels a mix of both pity and pride for him. "Okay then, Shoutmon! I believe in you! Just a little farther!"
A few minutes later, Agumaru crumples up the paper with Chirpy's terrible directions on it and eats it. "No use littering," he sighs, then looks around. There were three roads heading in different directions. He peers down each road, then jumps in place. "Yes! I remember! This way, this way!" He rushes down the road heading to the left, his excitement rekindled. "I know I remembered the music shop! I've passed it on the way to getting bullied by Digimon thinking I'm not real!"

"Suuuure..." Adrian says after hearing Agumaru claim that they weren't lost. People only say that when they don't want to admit they have no idea where they're even going.
Both Adrian and Shoutmon were surprised to see Agumaru just eat the paper like that. Sure, they might have been god awful, horribly written directions, but eating them? He could've just thrown them away.
"Why did you eat that?" Shoutmon asked the ToyAgumon. "You could've given it to me to eat!"
Eventually, they reached a section where three roads intersected. The Lego brick Digimon then claimed that the direction to the music store was to the left, so Adrian and Shoutmon just followed him. Then he brought up that other Digimon used to bully him.
"Let me guess..." Adrian says, "They kept claiming that you weren't a real Agumon, but instead a ToyAgumon?"

Agumaru ignores the duo's doubts about whether he knows where he is going. Of course he knows approximately where he's going, he has directions he can barely read! But maybe, just maybe, Chirpy needs some calligraphy lessons. Eventually he realizes the foolishness and pointlessness of these directions, and eats them, getting a reaction from both Adrian and Shoutmon. "Sorry Shoutmon... didn't think you'd want them. They taste as good as they were written if that's any consolation!"
Soon they are on the right path, but the conversation shifts to the bullying of "Toy" Agumon. "Yeah... they thought not only was I a fake Agumon, but... one of them thought I was barely a real Digimon because of that!" He sighs sadly, slightly slumping and sagging. "I'm... I'm not really hurt by it any more but... the fact that there are Digimon that go out of their way to be rude and mean is just disappointing."

Shoutmon stuck his tongue out after Agumaru described the taste. He had gotten a look at that Karatenmon's handwriting, and HE couldn't read it, either! "Thank you for sparing me from the pain..."
Adrian felt bad for Agumaru, being bullied like that. He knew a bunch of kids that were as cruel as those Digimon in his youth. Hell, some adults were like that nowadays. Shoutmon saw how sad it made the little Digimon as well, and so he patted him on the back, giving him a great big smile too.
"If it makes you feel any better, I think you're a real Digimon."
"Yeah," Adrian says. "You wouldn't have the -mon part of your species name if you weren't, right?"
"Right you are, Adrian," Shoutmon laughed. "Just don't listen to jerkholes like them, okay Agumaru? Because heck, you were crucial in taking down that control spire!"

"Nno problemn..." Agumaru replies to Shoutmon, grimacing from devouring the directions. "We're friends, right? And real food will be soon enough." As long as there weren't too many distractions at the music store...
Agumaru's past had its ups and downs. There were Digimon nice to him, Digimon mean to him, and Digimon he thought were mean to him but were trying to be nice to him. But bullies were one thing he couldn't stand, whether it was them bullying him or someone else. "I just don't understand why bullies exist," he sighs.
A pat on the back and Shoutmon's encouragement cheer him up a little, and Adrian adding to it made him smile. "Thanks you guys! Sometimes I wondered if there was something wrong with me after all, but I decided that I'm me."
Then the control spire mission was brought up. "Hm... yeah.... I did okay I suppose. Though... if any more pop up, I'm more prepared now and ready to help! And- oh, there's the music store right there!"

Shoutmon laughed. "Don't worry. As much as I may complain, I can go on for quite a bit longer without food."
After that brief heartfelt moment, the group eventually did make it to the music store: Terminus Melodies. The store was much nicer looking than the junk shop, being painted white instead of being completely made out of bricks. However, while the place was nice it didn't look TOO expensive. The items stored inside did look affordable for your average shopper.
Speaking of objects, man, were there loads. Guitars, drums, microphones, home karaoke machines, anything musical that you could think of was sold at this store. And man, if only there was a combined restaurant and training arena to the place, then Shoutmon would have been in absolute heaven at that moment.
"This place looks amazing," Adrian comments, smiling as he too was intrigued in musical objects, seeing as he was in his school's honor choir.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. You're a tough one, Shoutmon! I'm glad to have been able to fight alongside you. A bit of hunger ain't gonna stop you!" Well, it was probably a bit more than a 'little' hunger, or at least it was for Agumaru, but he could stick it out too.
Besides, they had arrived at the music store. "Wow... I've never actually been inside," Agumaru admits, marvelling at all the instruments and equipment. "It is amazing! I wonder if I'd be good at any instruments, or musical talents." He looks at a guitar, trying to imagine himself playing it. Shredding the strings... might end up being more literal, and besides, he had very little claw dexterity. Perhaps a wind instrument? The fingering would be difficult. Karaoke? He... isn't the best singer. It would be bad for everyone involved.
Then he sees a drum set.
"Hmm..." Agumaru ponders if he could learn the drums. "Yes... maybe...!"

Shoutmon grinned a toothy grin, proud of himself for being able to fight it off. "How are you doing when it comes to fighting it, Agumaru?"
"Don't worry you two," Adrian says, laughing a bit. "Once we're done browsing here, we'll go straight to the nearest pizza place. I know how much Shoutmon loved pizza in my world."
"Alright, pizza!" Shoutmon cheered. "You know what pizza is, right, Agu? It's like a circle of bread with tomatoes, cheese and meat! It tastes so good; better than those burgers we had!
Shoutmon overheard Agumaru wonder whether he had any musical talent. "Oh, don't worry, I'm sure you have some kind of talent! Come on, there's a karaoke set to try out right here, let's go!" He then grabs the dino Digimon's arm, dragging him right over to the karaoke machine. After picking out a song, he gets two microphones and hands one to Agumaru.

Agumaru holds his blocky belly. "I'm holding on, hanging in there. I'm not gonna break first," he teases, nudging Shoutmon gently. The description of pizza was not helping fight the hunger, however. It sounded like the most amazing food ever. Surely the Royal Knights or the Sovereigns dine on it every full moon or something! "And humans get to eat this all the time? There's no way! Is that even a real food, or are you just teasing me? Hm... maybe Burgermon's Mega level form is a Pizzamon!"
Not nearly as amazing as pizza to him, but still quite amazing, was the music shop. He had almost decided to buy the beautiful drumset when Adrian and Shoutmon forced - er, invited him - to do Karaoke. "No, I don't think that's such a great idea," he insists, waving his free hand. "I really don't know if I should..." Nevertheless, he accepts the microphone.

Shoutmon laughed. "Alright then, but we'll see whos stomach growls first! ...technically I already lost, but this is a new round now!"
Adrian then nods to Agumaru. "If we really wanted to... and could afford it... we could eat stuff like pizza all the time. However, like the burgers, pizza isn't exactly healthy for humans. Eating too much pizza could cause humans to gain weight, or have serious side effects, like getting sick."
After getting on stage to try out some karaoke, Shoutmon tries to reassure Agumaru. "Come on, trust me, it'll be fun! Here, the lyrics will appear on the screen here..." He points to the screen in front of them, where the microphones were also attached to. "Just follow my lead, okay?" Then the song begins to start, and the song of course, was Butterfly (specifically the Digimon Tri version of the song.)

Shoutmon's stomach DID already growl, didn't it? That's okay... "Round 2! Round 2!" Agumaru shouts excitedly, accepting Shoutmon's logic and challenge. "Grrglglrrgley yet, Shoutmon's stomach?" He gently pokes Shoutmon's belly and chuckles. "Teasing, teasing."
The pizza paradise was just an illusion it seems. "Poor humans and their inability to eat anything they want," he sighs, feeling bad for Adrian. "But at least you have it there, right? That's a positive. Hm... maybe we can teach some Digimon how to make pizza! Yeah, we'd be benefitting all Digi-kind if we taught them how to make human food!"
Agumaru has no choice with the karaoke. He just had to suck it up and belt it out. He follows Shoutmon's lead... poorly. Not only was it just slightly out of tune, but there was something else off about it that was hard to put one's finger on. If a voice could sound plasticy, perhaps that was what was wrong with it? Nevertheless, while it wasn't the most out of tune singing ever to grace karaoke - he wasn't even drunk singing after all - it was unpleasant for reasons that would be hard to train.

Thankfully, Shoutmon's stomach was quiet when Agumaru asked it that. Shoutmon began chuckling as he rubbed where his belly got poked. "Not today, my friend... what about you, Agumaru's stomach?"
Adrian chuckled at the two Digimon's antics. "Man, you two are weird..." Then Agumaru mentioned something about teaching other Digimon to make pizza. "Wait, that means there's no pizza places here... damn. I don't want to make you guys suffer for another half hour like last time. How about we just go to one of the local restaurants in Terminus. Know any good places?"
At first, the karaoke went pretty well. Shoutmon was singing along, and everyone was having a good time. Then Agumaru began to sing. It wasn't too terrible, but it was completely off key. After the song ended, Shoutmon didn't know what to say. "Well... at least you gave it a try, right?" Shoutmon asked.

Agumaru's stomach was oddly quiet when being talked to. It might have been rude for it to ignore Shoutmon, but it stays silent. Then again, could it even rumble? "I'm fine for now," the stomach's owner replies.
No pizza places in the Digital World? Perhaps not, but perhaps so. Agumaru takes a moment to think, the metaphorical gears in his head turning steadily. "Hmm..." A couple ideas strike. "Maybe there's a specialty restaurant here," he suggests, "One that serves unusual food, or perhaps even Digital variants on human food! If not, we could always just do the buffet, more is better, right?"
The karaoke goes pretty much how Agumaru expected. He blushes slightly, doing the 'hand behind head in embarrassment' trope. "Sorry," he says sheepishly, "I did try to warn you all. Singing isn't really my thing. But..." He glances back over to the drumset. "I bet I could learn to drum!"
