MEETING AREA [Ruined Area 6F]
If Amelie reached this area, she would find that apparently the attack stopped here. This was the messiest attack so far, but whatever caused it must have perished here. However, because it become a rather severe battlefield, it's seem that there are almost nothing salvageable. The details of the fight shows possibility of Perfect Digimons engaging on a fight. However, another interesting facts are...
Skin-Injection type Medicine
These medicines seem to be scattered around. Perhaps this is one of her best discovery yet. While there are many broken bottles of it, she would find three bottles of this medicines that still intact, albeit slightly cracked. Each of them are colored green, purple and red respectively. Perhaps it's wise to not use them, who knows what could happened?
Either way, the entire floor seem to be completely destroyed. Whatever destroying this place though seem unable to reach the next floor. The emergency stairs definitely destroyed, but thanks to the water, she can climb up to the next floor!
SHELTER AREA [7F]
The area on 7th floor was completely intact. Which means, the conjecture about what caused the damage perished on the floor below is mostly correct. Once again, when she slid in the ID card, she would find a membrane. While fate of those below are rather... tragic, this one apparently was never used. She would find the canned food here still great, almost as if preserved by some anti aging machine. The electricity is still running, so lighting seem to be normal. If she want to take a break, this place is the right place to go.
A first aid kit is here. While they're rather futuristic in design, none of them seem to be the injector type like one she found below. Perhaps, they're some medicine for battle? Who knows.
There's another survival guide here too. And it's seem to be very intact if not browned. Looks like while food, drinks and other essential things are stored in area that made then unchanging, the manual itself is stored in normal shelves.
...While it seem to goes through on 'how to survive' in extreme condition such as Terrorism, there's nothing mentioned about ExD. Perhaps the manual is a bit outdated.
Archive Area above must hold more information. According to the survival page, in Executive area there should be a lift that could go to all sort of floor and still stays functional even though the building is ruined, as long it's not damaged.
If she goes to the staircase again to go to the floor, she would find that the staircase seem to be covered with same membrane that made the shelter dry. Whatever above must be very protected. However, as expected, she need slide in her ID before entering. Good for her, only access lv III is needed.

At least the carnage eventually ended; in a sense, Amelie was thankful that digimons disintegrated into a cloud of data once they couldn't hold their forms anymore, because witnessing a literal watery grave would probably be too much for her to bear. Even though... humans were supposed to be here, wouldn't they?
It seemed like the fight had involved pretty strong digimons, maybe stronger than what she could hope to become, at least in the foreseeable future, but it wasn't like she cared all that much. In a sense, the less powerful her spirits were, the better for her. It was true that they were cooperative at seemingly random times, or when the brunette really needed them, but they tended to be more trouble than they were worth... by a fair margin.
There were some things that caught her attention, though; namely, the syringe-thingies that had funny-colored fluids inside them. Sure, they were cracked and stuff, but they probably were a clue on what had happened in this place. Amelie got closer and took one, checking how probable was for them to break and spill their contents out. If the three proved to be relatively solid, she'd keep them around, hoping to get somewhere with... less water in order to examine them properly. Now... it was time to get to the next floor.
The seventh floor seemed to be more or less intact, which was a bit of a relief; the brunette found another membrane after using 'her' ID card and found herself again on dry ground. Well, time to get to work!
In case she had the syringes with her, she'd take a tiny sample in order to ensure the liquid inside wasn't corrosive, and it if it wasn't, she'd put each one of them into three different, hermetically sealed bags she had inside her infinity-store and, aptly, try to store them there. She could probably investigate what they were about in more in-depth way when she got back to The Great Moving Library.
Until then... she'd take her sweet time in order to examine everything there was to examine, and after making sure there was nothing interesting here, would proceed to the next floor.
Amy didn't know why, but she had a bad feeling about this...

ARCHIVE [8F]
Area that's completely dry. Strange, considering that if this area were to be attacked, then this would be what people want. To destroy it would have been a great start to save whatever secret that must be in here, but no. It's intact, with all the possible books. However, the archive here seem to be more to data instead of the information regarding what they're doing in this building. Maybe there are something that would be an answer for what they're researching, but that would means to spend much of her time in this place.
Luckily for her, the electricity is running--no, more like, it's something that suddenly turned on the moment she made the card reader outside verified her card.
"WELCOME TO XT BUILDING ARCHIVE. DUE TO ATTACK BY TERRORIST, THIS SPECIFIC FLOOR HAS BEEN MARKED FOR TERMINATION. TO SURVIVING STAFF MEMBER, PLEASE NOTE THAT CURRENTLY THE ARCHIVE ONLY HAVE LIMITED POWER. CREATING BACK UP IS IMPOSSIBLE. IF YOU'RE TRAPPED FOR WHATEVER REASON, WE SUGGEST THAT YOU UPGRADE YOUR ID CODE'S ACCESS LIMIT TO LEVEL I TO GAIN ACCESS TO EXECUTIVE AREA AND USE THE LIFT TO ESCAPE. IF YOU HAVE ANY INQUIRIES REGARDING THE BUILDING, WE WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTION AS BEST AS WE COULD. HOWEVER, WE ONLY COULD PROCESS FIVE OPERATION BEFORE COUNTDOWN FOR FLOOR ELIMINATION BEGIN. PLEASE PICK YOUR ACTION WISELY.

If anything, it looked like Amelie could have a field day in the archive she had just found; everything seemed to be intact! Normally, she would take her sweet time at going through everything she could, but then... the voice began ringing.
Well, at least something was obvious; if this place had limited energy, that meant that the brunette didn't have as much time as she thought she had, and thus... probably not enough to go through these archives; she had to act quickly.
First things first; Amy began to test if the books could fit inside her infinity-store, and if they could, she would begin to collect everything that seemed more or less interesting while... searching for a way to upgrade her ID Access Code to level one. If that wasn't obvious enough, her first question would be fairly obvious.
"How do I upgrade my ID Access Code to level I?" Given that her survival depended on that, it'd was a fitting question! In case that the procedure was obvious, however, she'd go for something a bit dicier. "Do you have footage of what happened in this building? Any kind of picture or video showing the assailants or the fights would help."
Off to a good start. She already had in mind what would be her follow up, depending on the answers she got.

There's apparently a reason why the place was unguarded. The moment that Amelie tried to enter the books in Infini-Store, the book's cover would zap her hand. It stings, but other than the initial shock, it would immediately recede. These books are apparently put in such way that she couldn't take it in her infini-store. Perhaps, it's a way to counteract in case someone would take more than five books at a time. However, considering that outside is flooded with water, maybe she would have to give up instead, unless she have some way to overcome that... Either that or probably ask the archive AI how to bypass this.
"ACCESS TO LEVEL 1 IS GRANTED BY INSERTING YOUR ID CARD TO CARD READER NEAR THE MONITOR ON THE CENTER OF THE ROOM. OVERWRITING PROCESS TAKES ABOUT FIVE MINUTES. BE SURE TO NOT LEAVE THE AREA DURING THE OVERWRITING PROCESS. EVEN IF THE ID IS NOT YOURS, AS THIS IS EMERGENCY SITUATION, THE SYSTEM READER WILL BYPASS ANY NEEDED INFORMATION CHECK."
Looks like it's not as obvious as it sounded.
"VIDEO OF THE FOOTAGE REGARDING WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BUILDING UNFORTUNATELY UNABLE TO BE PLAYED TO CONSERVE ENERGY. HOWEVER, WE HAVE PREPARED SOFT COPY OF THE INCIDENT. IF YOU HAVE ANY USB STORAGE DEVICE, YOU CAN IMMEDIATELY PLUG IN THE SAID USB DEVICE, AND THE FOOTAGE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY COPIED. ANY FORM OF STORAGE MEDIA WILL ALSO WORK. THE SAID USB PORT IS LOCATED ON THE SAME COMPUTER NEEDED TO UPGRADE YOUR ID. UNLIKE THE ARCHIVE BOOKS, THE RESULTING COPY MAY BE USED FOR PUBLIC INFORMATION, AND THUS REQUIRES NO PERMISSION TO BE CARRIED AWAY FROM THE PREMISE."

"Owwww~." Yup, zappy books were definitely not good, nor items that Amelie couldn't loot store in her infinity-store for further analysis. Not much she could do about it, except maybe burn one of her questions afterward in order to loot them be able to preserve the legacy of this place. But that was something she had to decide later. For now, she'd try to check the cover of any of the books in order to see if they were actually in a language she could read; it would get pretty hard to decide what books to bring if they were written in gibberish!
Both answers had proven to be extremely useful, at least for the brunette. In that order, she proceeded to insert her ID card in order to upgrade it and then a USB hub that pretty much any digital traveler should have around in where it was requested. Hopefully, the copy she would get would more or less be able to shed some light on what had been this place's ultimate fate.
Speaking of which... once both devices were plugged and undergoing their respected, the teenager came with something way more incisive. "What information can you provide me about ELYSIUM'S LAST HOPE?" That had been the header of ExD Project and PROJECT ARK, hadn't it been? Knowing what the eggheads around here were up to probably would help to understand why the building was attacked in the first place.
And who knows! Maybe it'd be something actually useful.

While the process is being initialized, and timer appears on the screen, the A.I. answered Amelie's question.
"PROJECT ARK, A PROJECT DEEMED TO BE SOLUTION OF ELYSIUM'S ENDLESS EXPANSION AND OUR DIGIMON'S SHORTENING LIFESPAN. RESEARCH OVER SEVERAL DECADES REVEALED THAT DUE TO DATA SHORTAGE AND POPULATION BOOM, DIGIMONS OF ELYSIUM STARTING TO DIE OUT BEFORE THEY MANAGED TO REACH EVEN ADULT STAGE. ONLY HEINOUS CRIMINALS AND GLADIATORS MANAGED TO EVOLVE BEYOND THE CHILD STAGES. IN ORDER TO PRESERVE OURSELVES, RESEARCHER DEPARTMENT ZEVOLT SUGGESTED THAT WE NEED TO TRANSFER ELYSIUM.
THIS WOULD BE PROJECT ARK.
PROJECT ARK'S IDEA WAS TO DO A MASSIVE DATA TRANSFER BY BUILDING A CONNECTING NETWORK BETWEEN VARIOUS DIGITAL WORLDS THAT EXIST WITHIN THE QUANTUM SEA. RESEARCH DID TO UNCOVER WHICH DIGITAL WORLD IS SUITABLE ENDED UP DISCOVERING THAT WE WERE UNABLE TO TRANSFER DIRECTLY TO THEM DUE TO DIFFERENCE IN MANY FACTOR, SUCH AS LIVING CONDITION, CODES OF THE FOOD, AND SO ON. THUS, WHILE PROJECT ARK IS APPROVED, IN THE END WE NEED SEVERAL MORE PROJECTS TO OVERCOME OUR WEAKNESS.
ExD PROJECT WAS ONE OF IT.
THERE ARE SEVERAL MORE PROJECTS. HOWEVER, ExD PROJECT WAS THE MOST PROMINENT, AND IS THE MOST ADVANCED IN TERM OF DEVELOPMENT COMPARED TO THE REST. IT WAS THE PRIDE OF THE XT DEPARTMENT OF ZEVOLT THINK TANK."

If there was a time to pay attention, it could be described pretty much as... right now. Amelie tried to retain as much information as she could from what the computer was spewing right now. And while she listened, the brunette realized that the computer was still operational. Right!
She jumped directly in front of it, trying to get as much information as she could from this place. What would Amy find there? It was uncertain but, she had to seize every second she had available. For some reason, the timer that had appeared on the screen wasn't very reassuring, that probably rushing this small research venture farther than originally thought.
The question was, however. What to ask next? She had the information about Elysium, about its greatest project and about who had attacked the facilities, and hoped to find out on the footage why the attack had happened in the first place, even though that this was a question the AI couldn't answer, anyway.
Amelie knew this probably was a pointless question, but given how distracted she was at handling both the computer and the nervousness of having to... abandon this place as soon as she asked the question ended up on her bringing up an inquiry that probably could've been way better.
"Was the project successful?"
By now, she was getting ready to abandon ship. This would get rocky.

Fortunately for her, the timer is not the timer for room destruction, but for the operation to be completed. "DATA TRANSFER COMPLETE" lit up on the screen. At the same time, her ID card is also ejected, now with holographic finishing on it.
Further tinkering with the PC seem to show various diagrams and pictures about whatever this ExD Digimons are, but it would take a bit too long to copy all of them. She only have one pick among the three:
PROJECT ARK
ExD Program
NEW HOPE
just these three, and she can only pick one to copy.
"THE SUCCESS OF THE PROJECT WAS HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE. WHETHER THE PROJECT SUCCEED OR NOT, IT IS AN UNDENIABLE FACT THAT ExD PROGRAM EXIST IN ELYSIUM. HOWEVER, CONTACT IS NOT SUGGESTED DUE TO THE VOLATILE NATURE OF THE PROGRAMMING. PERHAPS, YOU CAN TREAT THE PROGRAM ITSELF AS A VIRUS IN CASE OF IT ATTACHED ON DIGIMONS WITHOUT PROPER QUALIFICATION.
AS OF PROJECT ARK ITSELF, WE HAVE NO IDEA WHETHER THE TRANSFER IS SUCCESSFUL OR NOT. WE DO NOT HAVE ANY SORT OF SCANNING PROWESS TO DETERMINE THAT.
HOWEVER, SHOULD YOU WISH TO EXPLORE FURTHER, WE SUGGEST TO USE EXTREME PRECAUTION ON THE 'EXCLUSIVE FLOORS'. WHILE ANSWER MAY BE THERE, THERE MIGHT BE ALSO DANGER THAT MIGHT AFFECT YOU SEVERELY.
NOW THAT ALL FIVE OPERATIONS HAVE BEEN EXECUTED, YOU ONLY HAVE TEN MINUTES TO ESCAPE FROM THIS FLOOR. WE SUGGEST YOU TO TAKE THE EMERGENCY STAIRS TO THE HIGHER LEVEL, LEST THE LIFT IS NOT WORKING. THANK YOU FOR RECORDING THE LAST MESSAGE FROM ELYSIUM.
FAREWELL."
And with that, a timer appeared on the monitor again. By now, if she decided to copy one of it, the timer for the data transfer says 5 minutes more.

Well, talk about urgency! All things considered, Amelie would have 5 minutes to get everything she needed before getting the hell out of Dodge. There was one thing that piqued her interest further, however. 'Lower Levels', 'Danger', 'Affect you severely'. Those were all fair warnings, but there was one thing that was true about any place that had those adjectives thrown at it and was also called an 'Exclusive' floor.
It meant that whatever was there, it was also something pretty important. With that being said, the brunette had made her mind. She'd create a backup of 'New Hope', enact the proverbial 'get the fuck out' and then check the exclusive levels, if that was a possibility. Said and done, Amy began to get progressively anxious as the timer began ticking, being more or less ready to bolt at a moment's notice as soon as the transfer was done.
"Farewell, computer thingy. Thanks for the info!" With that out of the way, and once everything was accounted for, Amelie began to execute her escape.
Truthfully, this could be a good moment to call off this journey, but her curiosity has been piqued way too, and she was bent to see this through.
Hopefully it wouldn't... be super dangerous. Thus far things had gone more or less well, but who knew when they could turn sour.

The five minutes already started ticking away. Luckily for Amelie, the staircases are not that far off from her current position. However, a total mistake was how although the floor is labelled 8th floor, the gap from it to the 9th floor is literally about three floors tall. This means she need to climb series of staircases that's abut three times as long. Up to how quick she is, she might or might not have seen the disaster that about to occur. The sound of the torrent of water that coming in, combined with the sound of concrete breaking into several pieces, would be terrifying...
especially when it breaks through the wall, directly to the emergency staircase. With the torrent starting to wilder and wilder, it only would be some more time before it crumbled completely.
Luckily, the entryway to the ninth floor somehow have a more permanent membrane as the entryway for whatever reason. The moment she entered it, Amelie would be greeted by scent of posh (although possibly unoccupied for decades if not centuries or millennia) room freshener. The executive floor currently looked like a lounge of really luxurious hotel, although it's more to minimalist style. The electricity mostly used in here, and in here... she would probably find some vending machines for food or drinks, preferably for drinks. Digital logic dictates that these thing inside the vending machine aren't rotten at all, so that should be a plus in a way.
If she want to move, she could probably now gain any access to the room in this place. However, as for now, there are nothing really noteworthy. Although... this place must have a computer that's still operable, considering that it have enough power to somehow support emergency air system, lights, and even vending machines...

Well, it had been a good thing that Amelie had managed to stay focused the whole time. It had honestly been terrifying when she began to hear the water torrent beating and destroying everything in its path, and how that could've been utterly catastrophic for her well-being if she had let herself be.
Luckily, she hadn't and had managed to get to the ninth floor before things had gotten completely out of hand. After a sigh of relief, she looked around; taking into her surroundings and watching that the place was pretty much... untouched, wasn't it? Even the scent of air freshener was interesting. Unlike the appliances currently functioning; even if hunger could be a concern for the future, right now the brunette couldn't care less about it.
Instead, she focused on what thought the most important thing at the moment. A working computer or something similar; if electricity was a thing over here, that meant a computer would be more or less near, wouldn't it? Maybe Amy would find even more valuable information about Elysium and the story behind this place there. And even if there wasn't, even finding some clues about the current situation would be pretty helpful, overall.

Pity for her, while she could access all rooms, she would find that the computers are not working, although it's already connected to electrical outlet. All of it. That's perhaps the strangest part of it all. Are all computers shut down to prevent any data leak? No, it doesn't seem to be so, considering the one downstairs definitely gave her information regardless of her identity, and seem to be eager to let her get out of here... which means at that point, nothing should be a secret anymore.
The lift however, was nearby to the last room on the northern end. There, she would see the complete diagram of the floor, the very same one she saw in the elevator on the entry point. She would see that above the 10th floor, the executive floor... is...
11th: Master Security Floor 12th: Master Control Floor 13th-14th: Master Admin Unit
There's still one more floor for her to explore, or to ignore them and enter the other floor. Speaking of which, the floors below the 1st floor are somehow marked with warning sign.
B1: Generator B2: Quarantine Chamber B3: Tunnel to "C"
If asked whether she could go to these floor, the answer are "yes". The lift is fully operable. Not only one, but two of them are.

Not working, huh? That was a shame. However, there wasn't much time to lament; Amelie's circumstances valued her moving as quickly as she could, and considering how this place could become a death trap from one second to the next, that meant she didn't have much time to rest.
More like, none at all, but that was fine. There were two options; exploring one more floor, or going directly underground. As much as she wanted to be done with this and go back, this was probably the last stretch, wasn't it? With a tired sigh, she would ascend first. Would she find anything interesting on the Master Admin Unit? The brunette certainly hoped it, even though she wouldn't be overly bothered if, just like in this room, she found something vacant or that her limited knowledge couldn't operate.
In any case, Amy would do the necessary exploration and then, unless something amazing had been found, would probably proceed to descend to the lower floors.
This journey had been pretty exciting thus far! And the notion of it ending soon began to build up some excitement within Amelie. What would she find next?

MAIN LIFT.
Going to the upper floors, Amelie would notice a pattern. Just like the ninth floor, everything after the archive floor seemed to have escaped the consequences of the terrible attack this place suffered, but they also didn’t seem to contain any valuable information whatsoever. It seemed like every piece of information that could be preserved was taken to the eighth floor to be protected, leaving any floor after that with not even working computers.
Once the lift got below the first floor, Amelie could notice the lights in it turning red. The whole thing made a loud noise upon reaching B1 and promptly stopped moving. If any of the buttons going to B2 or B3 were pushed, the noise could be heard again, like the lift was stuck. When the door to B1 opened, another membrane could be seen, before entering the floor per se. As expected, the floor was completely dry, just like anything above the 7th floor.
B1. GENERATOR ROOM
The whole floor seemed to consist of only a single, huge room, with lots of machines and engines that didn’t seem to have been affected for whatever happened to the rest of the building, whether the reason was because no one ever reached these basements or because they didn’t have any interest in messing with them, was unknown. Even though some machines seemed to be working perfectly, making a working engine sound, some others were completely turned off. Nevertheless, every machine inside the room seemed to be perfectly capable of working, if someone turned them on. A set of stairs leading to the lower basements could be found at the eastern part of the room.
