The Crucible: Part 1 [Mission] [Akemi|E&E|Kath|Sasha]

Souji was still very nervous, this was the longest time he went with zero control over his own body, being forced to watch this digimon fight made him feel a bit lost and hopeless. But there is nothing he can do about it now, not until he begins to learn how to fight on his own. But there is no time for that now so he just watched like a bystander, the spirit himself was almost enjoying this, had he not been stuck in a form forced to do supportive attacks, this day might have been picture perfect. But there is no fighting what fate dealt to him, so he just waited for the perfect moment to attack which was now, of course he did not need to be told where to hit so he just ignored everyone and do what he wants. As his wand began to glow with Red aura the wizardmon then aimed his staff and a firey snake came from it, the snake flew above wizardmon for a second before the digimon commanded it to go an attack the spot with the mark, hopefully this could work and further the team progression in battle. "Take this tough guy."
As for Isabella the fairy decided it'd be best to remain calm for now, it looks like her decision to enter the cart paid off for now but how long can this peace last, there has to be some sort of way to get out here safely. Isabella then noticed a package near her, the fairy decided to throughly examine it and see if she is small enough to hide inside it, after inspecting it.
Combat log : Scarlet snake : Wizardmon conjures up a snake made of fire, that flies at moderate speed but chases its target once it catches up to it, the snake bites its target before exploding causing massive damage the snake chases its target for 2 turns before dissappearing withouth exploding. "Oh, screw this!" The spirit wielder could barely contain her anger, or the long stream of foul slurs she wanted to say right now. Not only had their attacks barely made a dent on the Brachimon, the beast was getting back on it's feet, looking no worse for wear! It would have been a lot less disheartening were it not for the fact they had been making progress just a moment ago.
Something didn’t quite add up. The sigils were weakspots, right? Then why weren't their attacks working? One could practically hear the gears in her head turning as she tried to figure out what they were doing wrong…at least until Jazz barked out another order, or rather instructions for the team. Had they finally figured out how the sigils worked? “Hitting them three times”? Just as she was wondering what leap in logic could have given the pig girl that answer, a familiar voice that had so far been quiet mused something in her skull.
“Three times? Well, that is the third symbol of our alphabet, so I guess it’s worth a shot…”
That’s when it all cliqued for the Russian blonde. Was it really that easy? And furthermore, was her spirit Siegfried aware of it? If so, her new found anger knew no bounds.
"Why didn't you tell me those were letters?!" She cursed aloud, not even caring if anyone heard her talking to (seemingly) nobody in particular. A short moment later, the agitated voice of her spirit reverberated inside her mind.
"You didn't ask, it didn't seem relevant and I didn't want to distract you." The gladimon stated, simply and without a hint of irony. Sasha could only bite her lips in frustration, but didn’t bother replying. Well, at least her teammates had figured it out, it seemed. But if they were right, then that meant she would have to sit this round of attacks out, else she would accidentally sabotage their attempts at bringing down the beast.
She snarled in anger, standing her ground ready to dodge any and all attempts at retaliation from the giant digimon. She absolutely loathed having to wait by the wayside for the others to do their thing, but if Jazz and Kath were right it would be their only way.

The cat was out; the reaction had been gauged. There wasn't much else to add, at least in Duskmon's stead. His terms had seemingly been accepted, even if the terms had been relatively nebulous. But that was fine; the condition posed by Evie was something that was implicit, so nodding at it proved to be quite easy.
"I wouldn't expect any less. You can enlist the help of anybody within your little group; again, if they're in good enough shape after this small test. One could say it hasn't been kind to your sister, has it? Can't say if she'll have the energy to help you after it."
If the digimon had a proper mouth, he would be smirking at her own comment. That comment hadn't been very kind, but that had been true, nonetheless. From the current combatants against Brachimon, Cho-Hakkaimon and Matadormon had probably been the ones closer to the danger zone.
"Do we have a deal then?" The Nightmare Soldier extended a handless arm, as if to confirm the terms just discussed. Would it be... taken?
Speaking of the danger zone! The collective thoughts regarding how Brachimon's weak points worked was correct, but that was just half the fight! After rising, the digimon seemed to be way meaner than before. He would still keep on attacking, and the pattern on its foot would still be subject to the three attacks planned by the combatants, but this time there wasn't an explosion, nor the gigantic dinosaur collapsed. The sigil on his back appeared once again, but Brachimon seemed to enter a frenzy after that event; he thrashed around wildly and uncontrollably; legs and tail smashed around the arena, sending shockwaves at least twice as powerful and violent than the first barrage of attacks, and with enough force to afflict the entirety of the arena.
Getting to dodge those —or even avoid getting grievously injured by them— would be quite the challenge. There wasn't much inside the package Isabella found, or at least at face value. Seemingly disorganized sheets of paper, all of them written in what seemed like... gibberish, at least at a glance. Was it some kind of code, or something of the like? Probably.
Would she attempt to decipher it? Or would the urgency of her current situation deter her from that?

Akemi found that staying back was proving to be wise as the Brachimon entered what's essentially referred to as a phrase so foul that uttering it would be calamitous. But, for the sake of ease, let's just call it sheer, unadulterated anger. Anzu, however, was definitely ready to evade, flying up and away from the Brachimon's rampage before she set her eyes on...one of her allies.
The sigil on the back of the dinosaur read A. A is the first letter. So, one strike should be enough to work here. Sasha was a Musyamon at the moment. A Musyamon, while big, hairy and honestly a rather repulsive creature in Anzu's eyes, the samurai possessed something very powerful in the form of a katana, folded about twelve thousand times and made from glorious steel from a dubious portion of the world. Basically, this was the best tool for the job. "I need EVERYONE ELSE to focus on not being trampled over, this next part requires that I pull this off perfectly!" The Mephistomon spoke as she aimed to swipe Sasha up into her claws. A simple, quick maneuver that she followed up by flying above the dinosaur.
She really didn't feel like this was the best way to do things, but this was how she felt she should be proceeding. "Lady Sasha, I'm going to drop you onto the back of this...lizard. I need you to do something. Find the sigil, and strike at it once, and only once. Please forgive me for this."
And with that, Anzu put her plan into action, once above the Brachimon and with a clear shot at the back? She dropped the weird big Samurai thing.

No explosion this time. However, the plan seemed to have worked. The second sigil had appeared and it was ready to be struck one (and one only) time. Anzu’s shouting indicated the Tsukaimon understood the plan already. It wasn’t a very elaborated deduction, so it wasn’t hard to believe the rest of the team had caught on it quickly too. The violent, erratic and overall frenzy way Brachimon was thrashing around made of her friend’s orders something Jazz definitely had to abide by if she wanted to leave this battle in one piece. If Anzu was ready to (literally) deliver the damage into that sigil, then the pig girl’s only job was to remain safe. Considering how bad Jazz had squared off from the last shockwave, Katherine was not risking it. In a swift movement as it was required, the Spaniard pointed her digivice at her partner. A R M O R E V O L U T I O N A cocoon of light appeared around Chohakkaimon and… talk about a change of shape! What was previously a teenager wearing a pig-costume had turned into a giant winged beast. A hippogriff, as a matter of fact. As quick as it came, the light vanished, revealing the beast. With great speed, the digimon fluttered her wings to gain some distance from the ground. If this form of Jazz had any characteristic, it was speed. The quickness she moved with would probably get her off the ground before the first shockwave even got to her. Definitely not too much after, in any case, reducing the damage Jazz would take (if any), greatly. Soon enough, the Hippogriffomon would be completely out of harm’s way. It had been a while since Katherine saw her partner acquire that form. “Excellent.” She blurted out, letting go a sigh in relief. Jazz, however, instead of flying too far from the arena, was not gaining too much height. What was she doing? Katherine wondered, a little worried. Once she realized her partner's objective, the teenager showed a small but sincere grin. “Get on here! Quick!” Jazz’s voice sounded much deeper and mature in this form. The Hippogriffomon was addressing Matadormon with her shouting. She was flying low enough to allow Elsie to make it to her back with a leap. “Come on, it’s dangerous!” Hopefully, the former red-eyed could get there without much trouble. Once she did, they would acquire more height to get away from the earthquake, even though they were probably safe enough already. There wasn’t much left to do, but to hope Anzu and Sasha’s plan worked. Even though Sasha didn’t seem to have planned anything. “In case the swordswoman doesn’t make it and falls…” Jazz talked to Elsie, who should be on her back by now. “Be prepared to go for it and hit the sigil yourself, okay? I think I can get you close enough.”
Considering the aggressiveness the dinosaur was moving with, it was probably a good idea to have a plan B prepared, in case Sasha couldn't make it.

While having a hazy agreement may seem like something one should hate, Evie had to admit that she was quite fond of a certain level of vagueness. It was sort of like a risk! Or, even, a safety net.
Looking to her sister, as the Duskmon commented on the battle, the blonde gave a tight-lipped smile. "I'm sure she'll be fine." As if Elsie had a choice! Would the others be willing -- or capable -- of helping out after this? It was hard to say! But, any extra assistance wouldn't be rejected, in the case that they failed at negotiations with the other settlement!
Either way, hand lifted to... shake? with Duskmon's arm. Hand shakes seemed a bit complicated when one participant didn't have fingers. Or proper hands. But, Evie would roll with it. After all, shaking 'hands' with a strange skull-arm-thing was probably one of the less weird thing she'd have to deal with, when handling the Digital World!
"I would say it's a deal."
Elsie had to admit that she was a bit jealous of her sibling, who didn't have to deal with being in the line of any attacks. Or shockwaves. Or death! "Easier said than done!" the Matadormon shouted towards Anzu, hearing the instructions to not be trampled on. Heck, if she could just go off into a corner and take a nap, she'd be thrilled!
Of course, life wouldn't be that easy. Or, would it? Despite the stumble at the first shockwave that the rampaging dinosaur made, it seemed that Elsie had friends in high places! Hearing the Hippogriffomon, Elsie wasted no time in jumping onto the other Digimon's back. Taking care to avoid giving the flying beast any hair cuts, the bladed Champion kept her hands tilted away from Jazz. "Never thought I'd be so grateful to be off the ground," the spirit user stated, with a sigh of relief. That would have been a disaster otherwise!
Listening to Jazz's backup plan, the matador gave a nod. "Got it," she confirmed, shifting her positioning to be able to easily hop off at a moment's notice. With any luck, though, Sasha wouldn't miss her mark!

After the snake connected the Wizardmon felt a bit proud of himself, but after it the brachimon got angry and looked like he was getting ready to perform an attack the Wizardmon braced himself in order to see what kind of an attack he will perform next. Souji however was scared to his bone, this was the first time he saw a digimon higher than champion fight, and Judge did not count. So the boy allowed the spirit to continue controlling the body, the spirit however did not feel fear, but a chilling excitement perhaps this will help the spirit remember who he once was.
(Umm hey everybody is teaming up in order to avoid the incoming attack, what should we do ? We can't do anything, we will be doomed.)
"Just shut up and let me focus kid, I am gonna show you why you should trust me."
The Wizardmon then used his staff to give himself a little boost to jump over the attack, the wizard then managed to fly, he gracefully flew over the attack and got ready to drop himself next to Musaymon but just before he did he had a funny declaration.
"Oh hey by the way, this is my time limit at this point, so you are back at the helm kid, dont die."
(Wait what ? I do not know the first thing about fig-)
Regardless what the boy wanted to say he found himself as Musaymon and he was a Wizardmon, he turned towards Sasha, the subtle differences between Souji!Wizardmon and Spirit!Wizardmon was only in the eye color and personality. "Hey Ms Robinson what should we do now ?" The boy said as he held his staff, his arms slowly shaking. He was truly unaware on what to do next, for now, Souji will have to fend for himself.
Isabella found herself in a conundrum but, as she remembered her purpose today, to collect information for the sake of everyone so she decided to decipher this message, she wondered what kind of message she will find.

Surprisingly, their guess turned out to be correct, as the dinosaur began reacting to the attacks received yet again. Perhaps they still had a chance. But just as Sasha prepared to receive the brunt of another shockwave, she felt herself being lifted high into the air by large clawed hands. She'd look up in surprise, only to find a familiar Mephistomon holding onto her.
"Nice thinking, Anzu." She nodded, still oblivious to her true intentions. She looked down on the battle field, whistling in awe at the destruction the dinosaur was causing. Boy, they had sure angered it now. Something made the demon look back from the carnage, and turned around too look at the demon goat again. Her plan was...odd, to say the least: She was going to literally drop her on top of the Brachimon not unlike a bomber plane doing a bombing run on top of a target. This was...an interesting strategy for sure, but it had it's merits. Or at least it was inventive.
"Well, they do say attacking with a height advantage is quite a reliable strategy..." the voice of the spirit mused to himself, in such a tone Sasha could almost picture him giving a knowing nod.
As for her? Was she in any way worried for her safety or angry at Anzu for doing this without asking first? Not exactly...
"Hell yes." She said, a giant smirk on his face as the demon let go of her. She found herself falling rapidly on top of the dinosaur, chortling and laughing in such a way you'd be forgiven to think she had snapped. This was not the case however, she was just having too great of a time.
As she was about to land on the dinosaurs' back, the Musyamon wasted no time plunging her glowing sword deep into the sigil, hoping it would not explode in her face as she did so...
"PLUNGING VORPAL CUT."
Aided by Anzu's help Sasha performs an always reliable Vorpal Cut powered plunging attack on Brachimon's sigil.

After the 'handshake' of sorts, Duskmon showed a satisfied expression. "Very well, young human. At least you can say you've accomplished your role within your team. Why don't you enjoy the spectacle while your teammates try to do the same? Whether they succeed or fail, we probably are going to find out soon."
The knight's words hadn't been a bravado; while the group had managed to quickly show an amazing level of coordination, the worst had yet to come. Their ability to keep a level head would be the difference between victory and defeat; would their strategies prevail in the face of adversity, or would they succumb to panic and rout?
Musyamon's Vorpal Cut managed to directly hit on its mark, the blade even embedding itself into Brachimon's thick hide. The result? While the symbol didn't explode with the violence displayed the first time, a very strong gust of wind began to blow from the impact point; unless Sasha held fast, she'd find her ability to stand atop the enraged dinosaur to be greatly hindered. Similarly, anyone flying nearby the beast would find it extremely difficult to maintain stable flight; navigating through the maze of currents was doable, but would greatly reduce the flyer's speed.
Something that wasn't a problem in and on itself, if it weren't for the fact that Brachimon was still thrashing around, and even more violently than before if that was possible! Jazz and Anzu's flying game would need to be at its best if they wanted to emerge unscathed from such a rampage, especially considering...
Five symbols, exactly like the one that Sasha had just hit, appeared alongside the digimon's body; one in the back of the beast's neck, pretty close to the point where Sasha had already hit, one on top of its head, one on the tip of its tail, one in its right front knee, and one directly under its belly. At a casual glance, it could be observed that the symbols flickered in and out of the digimon's body every couple of seconds and that even the flying debris was enough to trigger them; the problem? Nothing happened when only one or even two] were activated at the same time. And, each time the symbols flickered back, any that had been triggered returned to their default condition.
How coordinated could the team become? Would they be able to synchronize their strikes? And most importantly; would they be able to do so before the Brachimon's rampage eventually caught any of them in a bad position? Deciphering the message would take a good deal of Isabella's concentration, but she seemed to piece the crude code that encrypted them all. Apparently, the sheets of paper described shipping schedules among many of the Dark Area's less known settlements; the Tinkermon probably knew the existence of half of those at most; yet... one detail caught her attention. Written in slightly bolder letters, 'Bastian' and an address corresponding to Fragment Village were mentioned. What could they mean?
She wouldn't be able to find out at the moment, for sure. A set of paws were scratching at the car, while the oversized head of a Dobermon X was intruding into the cart, ravenously barking and reaching to the small digimon, already preparing to bite her.
Time was up.

Flight was, shockingly enough, working well for Anzu as she did her damndest to avoid the sheer, unadulterated rage of the dinosaur. What, did the meteor remind him of extinction? The baphomet could only hope that Sasha could hang on and remain alive as she sought to distance herself from the beast.
Up. Up was the way to go. It couldn't hit her there, could it? The results of her plan to airdrop Sasha in made themselves clear with the quintuplet of symbols that appeared on Brachimon. She took some moments to observe how they reacted to the debris--then made a conclusion. A quick one, and by far the simplest one. Occam's Razor would hopefully take effect here.
They just had to hit all five at once. Anzu could only see four, though...
"Okay, I need EVERYONE to pick a symbol they can get to, survive getting to it, and STRIKE IT AT THE SAME TIME AS MY ATTACK. I'll go for the head!" The Baphomet roared out as she began to pray.
A festival of death. A festival where the Council danced on the bones of this maggot. A celebration of supreme victory. Of course, one couldn't forget Akemi Amaya. She had been keeping watch, after all! "Don't forget there's one on it's underside! Someone needs to go for that too!"
"That as well! Ten seconds! Better think quickly!" And with that, Anzu would begin counting to 10. For the sake of length, that part's been cut. What matters is that she kept doing her best to keep her distance and aim a good shot at the Brachimon's head sigil. Top of the head. When she got to ten?
"...Ten! BLACK SABBATH." She let loose that multicolored blast of searing energy! Here's hoping everyone else could coordinate!
Oh, yeah, and the golem's gone. He got stamped on to death.
Anzu attacks the top of the head's symbol with:
Black Sabbath: Anzu’s main mode of attack in this form. One prayer for a festival of death and she fires a colorful blast from her palm. The blast is searing hot and great for destroying the environment around Anzu. One post cooldown.
She also hopes everyone else can get their attacks in at the same time.

Waving her wings forward, Jazz attempted to propel herself backward, taking distance from the monster, while she listened to Anzu. It seemed like the plan was crystal clear, but still… “Following a plan made by Anzu.” She tsk’d. “I never thought it would come to this.” She moved her head a little, so Matadormon could listen to her. “Hold on tight! Turbulences are expected!” And boy if they were. Brachimon moved so aggressively, the gryphon had trouble flying straight. The whole air was a total mess of burst of wings going everywhere. She kept trying to gain distance from the creature, attempting to acquire any kind of stability in her flight.
Even if there wasn’t anything being thrown at her, Katherine’s natural reaction was to cover her head with her forearm. The way this dinosaur thrashed was so aggressive it was honestly scary. She held her digivice tight with her left hand, and got it closer to her face. She thought about everything she could tell her partner at the moment, but she knew Jazz knew exactly what she had to do. She had listened to Anzu, they all knew were the sigils were. The only thing left to say was…
“Jazz. Take care, please.”
This was all the digimon needed to hear. It was time to do it. 10 seconds to get to a sigil. “I’ve got the tail!” She declared, hoping it got to everyone.
“Hey. I’ve got something important to tell you.” She addressed Elsie, currently on her back. “… But right now is probably not the time. So you better make it out alive!” She added. “Now go! Pick a sigil!” Jazz lowered her height as much as she could without being impacted by the shockwaves caused by the dinosaur’s movements, so Matadormon could jump down and go for her sigil.
Once the spirit wielder was off her back, she would gain some height again, trying to maintain herself on the skies. She didn’t have much time left. Luckily, she was above the tail already. The thing wiggled from one side to another. Ugh. It was really hard to aim to. It was a good thing she had a technique that would hit that tail, no matter how much it moved. Was she going to come out of this unharmed with all of that thrashing coming from the dinosaur? Probably not. But she was more than willing to put up with the pain. She was hitting that sigil, no matter what.
Anzu’s counting was at seven. The Hipogriffimon fluttered her giant wings. Northern lights appeared on the sky while a shower of shinning balls of energy fell over the tail of the creature. Jazz’s gaze was affixed on the sigil. Once it got hit by one of the raining stars, she’d redirect the shooting into the sky, to make sure the sigil wasn’t hit more than once. And, more importantly, that it was hit right at Anzu’s shout of ‘ten’.
This was it. It better worked.
——Star Shower: Hipoogriffomon opens her wings widely, where a portion of the outer space can be seen. Upon waving them, star-shaped portions of energy are thrown straight against the opponent, exploding on contact. The star's shower continues for the next turn, where Hippogriffomon will keep shooting stars (unable to use another technique), doing twice as much damage. 2 posts cooldown.
Star Shower's duration and cooldown: 0/2.

Evie had to admit that she was pretty satisfied with finishing her part of this endeavor! Now, she only had to wait and see what her teammates were capable of! With any luck, they would be able to succeed in the fight. And, surely, Duskmon would be correct in it coming to an end soon. He knew the beast that they were fighting, and what it was capable of! Not only that, but Duskmon surely knew its limits. Were all of these symbols glowing a sign of a chance to flat-out win?
They had better win, considering what everyone was going through! "Oh god," Elsie hissed, clinging to Jazz, "I hate turbulence!" There were plenty of things that Elsie hated, to be honest. Turbulence was probably one of the more expected things for the teen to dislike! Especially when she wasn't even inside something safer, like a plane!
Either way, she had managed to hang on! Though, maybe the more surprising thing was to hear that Jazz had something important to say? Well, that made her curious! Even if it could just be a statement to try to give the girl motivation to stay alive! "I'll be fine!" The Matadormon responded, perhaps verging on a bit of cockiness. "But, you'd better not forget whatever you're gonna say!" The curiosity would kill Elsie, if she did!
As the Hippogriffmon lowered the teen, she made a quick decision of where to go, "I've got the leg!" Then, a brief pause before Jazz would get too far out of earshot, "thanks!" After all, she'd have probably been knocked down long ago, if Jazz hadn't given her a lift! But, now she was already running toward the leg that was marked. "Souji! You get the stomach!"
Why trust the wizard with a shot at the dinosaur's belly? Well, it seemed like the safest bet, in case the beast collapsed at the hit! From what she'd seen so far, Wizardmon was ranged, and could probably attack without being directly beneath the dinosaur! Elsie had already had her own close call with being stepped on; she wasn't going to test being completely underneath the monster!
Then again, she wasn't aware that Souji was... well. Souji now, and had no further guidance from his spirit. Hopefully, he wouldn't screw this up. If he did, and the dinosaur didn't kill him, she would!
Rapiers would crackle with static, while Elsie listened to the countdown. Hearing Anzu's 'timer,' reach seven, she would draw back an arm, closing the remainder of the gap between herself and the opponent's leg. And at ten? Unless the beast could rapidly evade the girl's sudden whirling motion, the blades would rip into the sigil.
She could only hope that this plan would work.
Stunning Dance: Whirls toward an enemy with electricity running through its blades. Attempts to slash and shock any target unlucky enough to get into arm's reach.

Isabella felt a surge of fear and adrenaline rush to her nerves, almost as if it felt like her basic survival instincts tap in the little fairy used her special gift and shrunk her size to that of a fly. This proved to be an act that saved her life, as the following act of her pursuers was to bite the place she was hiding at, but due to her insanely small size Isabella could have not escaped if it was not due to her new little size. Unable to take any memento with her, and really out of time to search for more things, the fairy decided to escape with both her life and the new found knowledge and return to her frie- colleagues. But instead of taking the normal route she first took, the fairy decided to take a detour to confuse her pursuers, in case there were some.
Souji on the other hand was panicked and nervous, he could feel his grip loosen on his staff, thoughts of self doubt and anxiety of maybe going in over his head rushed to his mind. But that all went flying away when he heard the command from his ally, gaining a clear sense of direction the boy nodded "you got it." He said as he jumped off the digimon and got into a better vantage point to hit the mark on the stomach, calling upon the power of the elements, the boy conjured a lightning wolf and shot it at the mark flying at high speeds. Hopefully his attack will land, but even if it didnt the boy knew he genuinely tried his best.

Much to Sasha's delight, Anzu's plan worked out just perfectly: her sword struck against the sigil on the creature's back, piercing it and going through it all the way until it embedded itself on the Brachimon's back.
This would ironically end up proving benefitial for the Musyamon, as not a second passed before the sigil dissapeared, not with an explosion like before but with sudden and powerful gust of wind, which would have sent Sasha off the digimon's back immediatelly...had her sword not gotten stuck on the beast's thick hide.
Not only were the strong gusts of wind this close to send her flying away, the dinosaur's violent thrashing didn't do any favors for Sasha's stability either. As such the best she could do right now was hold on tight to her sword with both hands, waiting for the oportunity to strike again.
And said opportunity would present itself alright, as another sigil just a meter or so away from where she was, right on the back of the Brachimon's neck. It would have been fairly easy for her to close in the distance by foot were it not for the fact she was standing right next to the source of the wind, and she knew for a fact that as soon as she took her sword out of the gigantic digimon's back she would be completely at the mercy of the strong winds, which would no doubt send her reeling off the edge and back all the way down to the ground.
As if this wasn't enough, Anzu once again managed to speak up above the sounds of carnage, letting the whole team know about the five sigils that had just appeared on the Brachimon's body...and how they all had to be struck at the same time.
On the count of ten, no less.
"Of course." She could only snarl, sarcastically. Things were never that easy. That meant she would have to strike the sigil within her reach all on her own, something obviously easier said than done, what with all the trashing, wind and general chaos going on.
If she wanted to reach that point in time, well...she knew there was only one way to do it. Gritting her teeth, she slowly began to pull from the sword, the blade emitting a glowing light with a silent command of her as the weapon made a soft whistling sound, not too unlike that of the wind howling past the Russian.
Indeed just as she predicted, as soon as the sword became completely unstuck the demon could feel herself being pushed away by the strong current. Even if she ran she would not be able to reach the sigil on time. Luckily for her, she didn't have to. Her hands gripping the sword's hilt she slashed the air sideways, a glowing blast of pure air and wind shooting out from it and aiming to hit the sigil with all it's might, hopefully just in time for her attack to hit in coordination with the rest of the team's.
"Just die already!" Was all Sasha had left to say to the massive beast as she sent her attack forward with nothing but anger and hate in her voice. Unfortunately for her, the combined strenght of her own blast and the Brachimon's wind was enough to not so much send her over the edge, but practically sent her flying off the dinosaur's back a good three or five feet...before gravity once again took hold of her large frame, sending the Musyamon freefaling to the ground below. In this form, it would probably not be enough to kill her, sure, but she still hoped someone would at least try to catch her or at least slow her fall. If they didn't well...she'd hopefully make it out just fine as long as the Brachimon didn't end up crushing her.
It would probably still hurt a lot regardless though.
Blades of Conquest: Musyamon's sword glows with energy, absorbing the power of whatever element the sword came in contact with, afterwhich it can be released into a powerful long range (30 feet) slash of said element. Two posts cooldown.

Quick thinking would be Isabella's eventual salvation. Having such a small size would ensure a quick escape, and as long as she remained like that, getting back to the starting point would prove to be a more or less safe way of getting back to the starting point. Her objective hadn't been accomplished, but getting captured would end in none other than an utter disaster for the team. Not much to be done about that, except cutting your losses.
If Bella kept playing smart, she would eventually reach the previous meeting point. The question was... did she have enough time? Even if for a couple of seconds, the show of coordination that the team displayed in the face of that challenge was none other than impressive. Within a second of each other, a relentless wave of attacks was unleashed on the Brachimon, each of them aimed at a specific weak point in the monster's body. Despite the hardships presented to them, they had persevered and the results were rather obvious, the digimon's body briefly flashed red before a fiery conflagration engulfed the whole arena. One last attack, maybe? Truthfully, its strength was nothing compared to its previous trashing, but the fact that the whole arena was ablaze for a couple of seconds would result in a fairly painful experience for everyone involved. But not lethal, unless any of the fighters present suffered from an abnormally weak constitution or were weak to fire, that is.
The stage cooled down as quickly as it was lit, that decidedly marked the end of the fight. The enemy digimon wasn't there; not even its residual data seemed to remain. It was as it had ceased existing altogether.
A slow clapping sound came from Duskmon's position as he stood up. "Well, well. It seems that you survived." His tone sounded just slightly amused. "That marks the end of our negotiations. Evie has the knowledge of the terms we agreed to. Now, get out of my city. Most of you aren't aware of it, but you have a task to perform; the doors will remain open for five minutes; you wouldn't want to be caught inside after they close."
He didn't seem to care about the fact that most combatants were very likely damaged to some extent given how the fight went, or that he had left explaining duty to one of the blondes. That much was as obvious as the light of day.
