The Wisemon seemed a little more shaken from the entire encounter than Mae had anticipated. But she had accomplished what she was hoping to, with the aid of Yosuke, that being dissuade the Renamon from making like her and killing someone who probably had no real horse in this race.
The Siphon....If that Wisemon was being truthful, then not only did such a vile thing truly exist, but it was going to be used on her friend. At least getting to him would be simple enough, just go to the top of the temple. Mae simply gave a nod to the Wisemon before following Yosuke and the party forward to the staircase.
Once they reunited...
"Perhaps the last owner may be a spirit now?" A simple guess. And something to fill the air with something aside from silence. "That's if we go with the something got to him theory...Anywho. Let's get going, time is a precious commodity that we can't afford to waste." If allowed, Mae'd start to go up the stairs.

The wisemon explained out things, things that made sense and other things that would just simply be. The jesmon tapped her forearm softly, mulling over and taking in the information that he gave them. It was pretty bad wasn't it?
The way they explained it and what not, she didn't full understand it honestly but she just knew that this was wrong. Messing with spirits was wrong and doing what they were going to do to Toki's? Well she bit her lip under that armor and the jesmon turned her head to look down at Yosuke.
"My regeneration should take care of it in short order. Don't fret."
The jesmon would follow suit, blinking lightly however when they eventually ran into the General again. The Jesmon ran a hand along where her blade rested, staring down at the human as he explained out what he found. The jesmon wasn't sure what to say honestly, she was just... Earnestly confused. Still trying to wrap her head around everything. She'd close her eyes slightly and exhale.
"I don't like this. It just feels off."
K would shake her head and slowly move forward, uncertain of what they'd find higher up. But one thing was for certain... They would definitely have to deal with more as they moved, more fights more people and more parts of this mystery. Hopefully they could find more answers and stop them from destroying what it meant to be a spirit user.
Don't worry Toki... we're coming. Just hang on.

Yosuke was relieved that K's regeneration would get them back into fighting shape too, but he still couldn't help but worry overall. Wisemon's news on this Siphon stuck in his mind. They were going to sacrifice Toki...what kind of insane scheme was this? They couldn't wait any longer, it was time to move "Let's get going..." he said as he took the lead, Ignatius following suit. Toki...for all that is good, be safe. Be okay.
Yosuke and Ignatius took the time to look around the large room they passed through to get to the stairs to the upper levels before moving on. This place was empty, desolate, but surely it was beautiful once. This was someone's home. Many peoples' home. After a quick glance around, they walked up the stairs to the bedchamber then further up to the outside to that cliff side view. It was here they reunited with the general. "Denryu, we made it out. And for the most part we're all in one piece. The situation is even worse than we thought. They've built something called the Siphon. The details aren't all there, but it's painfully clear that Toki could die if their plans come to fruition."
Ignatius noticed the book that Knightmon had "What is this? Let me see..." he held his hand out for the book and provided he was allowed to read the passage, he looked a bit taken aback "...This can't be right. Aylin? It has to be someone else. This just gets more and more complex the more we learn. Aylin is the name of a travelling companion of Toki's. If...this is the same one..." Ignatius looks about the area "What if this journal...this whole place, belonged to Toki's spirit in life? Aylin's been trying to help her father this whole time...a sweet gesture from family, but..."
"Ignatius...let's move on. I'm sure everything will make sense once this is all over." Yosuke said, barely able to stand hearing any more. He wanted to ask questions, he wanted to know why, but there was no time. "Wisemon said we want to head through this cave. Let's go."
Once the party was ready, they would begin their trek through the cave, which was surprisingly uneventful. Peaceful even. It would give the group enough time to recover from their prior battle. The walls were lined with crystalline formations and gemstones that illuminated the path forward in a pale blue light. The carved stone pathway was also lined with similar inlays of patterned crystal as they walked forward. If the situation wasn't so dire, it'd be quite beautiful.
Soon, they reached the exit of the cave and enter a flower covered field leading up to a small pagoda. The full moon shined overhead as the wind blew across the field, petals fluttering in the breeze. The sound of the waves crashing against the cliff echoed. As they approached, a bolt of light landed in front of Yosuke's feet "It seems AncientWisemon wasn't up to the task of keeping you back for long. Such a shame, yes?" A Sleipmon leaped from the pagoda and landed with a trembling quake in front of the party while another figure gracefully flew down to join. Dianamon "Please...turn back. This is the right thing to do. The Digital World needs its heroes again. Toki...I wish it didn't have to be this way..." she said. She seemed...conflicted.
Yosuke and Ignatius knew "Aylin...it really is you. Why?! This whole time...has this been a ruse? Your friendship with Toki, those times we shared a meal together, everything...was this just so you could get your father back? Did Toki mean nothing to you?!"
Aylin was taken aback by Yosuke's words "So you know...I..." she winced and clutched her head "Toki...means nothing...! But this...this will give him a true purpose. Bringing back someone that can make a difference!"
Sleipmon stepped forward "Aw, you've gone and made the pretty lady upset. That won't do. How about we ignore this interpersonal drama and get to what you really came for?"

'Perhaps the last owner was a spirit?'
The Knightmon shook his head to Mae's suggestion, explaining his reasoning: "Its hard to say. The tome is remarkably well-preserved. I doubt it would have survived in this state, if-"
"Hmph." The masked tamer cut him off. "That's not enough to write off the possibility. This is the Digital World, after all - whose to say that an enchantment didn't keep it preserved?"
"But would have they really been that forward-thinking?" That aside, the General would give a nod towards Yosuke. So their goal was to stop something called a 'Siphon', the details of which Angel briefly repeated to Denryu when asked. With that noted, Raider would pass the book over to Ignatius, the Knightmon soon questioning that name. "Aylin?"
"It hardly matters. Our objective remains the same." Demon growled, impatient about this entire mess. He would follow Yosuke right along inside, body already tense and brimming with energy. His attention was drawn forward, as Angel and Denryu idly noted the light-filled gems that made up the path. 'Pretty', yes, but also a small point of caution. Were these somehow tracking their position, or was it a natural part of the landscape?
Either way, their trek would lead them to the same place: a good way up the mountain, the group would pour out into a field, leading up to another building - and another two Digimon, each mega level, threatening to block their path. And it seemed at least one of them had a personal history with Toki's father. Perhaps they would intend to manipulate those here that knew her.
But at least one here was not distracted. The Devidramon snorted: "Denryu. Angel. Its time we stopped fucking around."
"Never thought you'd get there... General!"
"Tch." As much as he hated the risk here, Demon was right. Immediately, Demon's form pulsed heavily with energy, the MailBirdramon and Reppamon cores dropping from his frame, as the Renamon herself, along with the Knightmon, vanished into Demon's frame. The demonic beast tensed, the nails of his right arm shunting out like knives, his left forearm turning to that of an energy cannon, his leathery skin now replaced with a thick Digizoid shield. As for those cuffs, well, both of them would be stretched around his right arm.
He beat his wings once, the powerful 'Titan' glaring right towards the Pagoda. "Volt. Locate the siphon."
As you wish, big guy!
Demon himself already had his eyes trained on the pagoda, as the Reppamon and MailBirdramon walked and coasted up to the General's side, respectively.
"Let me simplify this for you, heretics." Denryu's tone cut purposefully deep, directed to both the Sleipmon and the Dianamon. "You don't control this situation anymore. Do anything to stop my partner, and he'll rend and devour your data. Interfere at your own peril."
Demon assumes 'X5 - Titan'.
Demon uses 'Full Field Scanner' to examine the Pagoda.
Guru the Reppamon and Falcon the MailBirdramon are on standby.

"I suppose that makes two of us. This entire -thing- feels off..." Mae replied, towards K. The group had then been treated to a rather strange revelation. This temple belonged to the father of one of Toki's companions. One that was unfamiliar towards Mae but still sounded quite...important. As they proceeded forth, they were confronted with many things.
First off, the path leading through the cave was nothing short of beautiful. Majestic. It almost saddened Mae that this place and the areas it had been connected to were used for sinister purposes. Upon their exit into the field with the pagoda, they were confronted by a Sleipmon, and a Dianamon. One who was identified as Aylin by Yosuke and Ignatius.
To the Dianamon, she had but a simple question. "Would that someone--your father, I assume, be proud of this? Would he be proud of you, Miss Aylin?"
There wasn't any anger or malice in Mae's words. Simple curiosity. A question from one lady to another. How would the Dianamon respond? Mae then locked eyes with the Sleipmon.
"I'm going to give a single warning. Take a single step forward. Take any action to harm my companions...And I can guarantee you won't quite enjoy what happens next. I've fought people like you before. People who fancy themselves as undertakers of a divine task. People who think they're more than they actually are. I've seen how this path ends--I can even see it right now.
Stand. Down."

K dipped her head in a nod, they had to be speedy. They had to get to toki quickly else who knew what they would find. The jesmon frowned a little when Yosuke commented that the siphon could kill toki. She'd screw her eyes shut and banish the very idea that her friend would pass. She wouldn't allow it. So of course she'd grit her teeth and just make ready quietly to continue moving forward. She while being in the 'biggest' form at the moment really didn't want to waste more time. She mostly stayed silent, processing the information that was given to them all. It just rung wrong with her, it made her grit her teeth and as she walked behind the others she was gifted with what she found a strange desire. Maybe something from her examon was starting to seriously bleed over with her but she really wanted to pound the people responsible for this into the dirt. Good intentions or not. When they were 'stopped' by a Sleipmon K's eyes narrowed and she didn't even hesitate to draw out her Saberk Otas, the blade rippling with pure destructive energies as her anger started to flow a little more readily. Aylin seemed confused, conflicted and honestly it was unlikely that they would fight her. It was more likely that they would fight the Sleipmon and that's all that the Jesmon really needed. She'd lower her head just a little bit, her icy blue eyes locking onto the general as he spoke. "...."Was she ready to take it to such an extreme? To destroy and devour? No. The answer was plenty simply, but she was willing to do something far worse in her mind. Anyone that was so driven by all of this would suffer greatly when their goal was destroyed in their eyes. She wouldn't destroy toki, but she certainly wouldn't be gentle to those responsible. "Some friendships don't break, they don't bend. They don't sit idly and let those they hold dear simply get used. Toki is someone who makes a difference. And you're taking that from him."The jesmon leveled her rippling energ blade and stared daggers at the Sleipmon. Her scowl couldn't be seen underneath her helm but the sheer desire to pass through here was obvious. But she didn't seem to mind the idea of fighting them here and on their own turf. "If you really called him a friend Aylin. You'd let his moon shine brighter than yours. I know I did." Log: -K summons up her saberk of time and space Passive: [RAM UPGRADE GIGA]: Crimson Mantle: Jesmon's signature cape; adjusted for size for each Digivolution. This cape has a few soft abilities each that scales with the level given. It may provide flight [if the wearer already can fly their movement is increased by one step] and it can block a single attack relevant to the power of the level of the host digimon before implementing a cool down of two posts for the block itself. This mantle may be passed to others but it's effectiveness for others is generally halved.
Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health. When struck by damage, this healing factor increases to a large amount for three posts and goes on cool down for an equal cool down of whatever move was used on the host. If the move was a once per thread move, a cool down of six posts will be implemented instead.

Aylin floated back slightly "Toki...? Toki I'm...I'm sorry I...this isn't what I want. This isn't w-what father would want...he'd loathe the idea that someone had to suffer to benefit him...!" Mae would notice a glimpse of Aylin as a Lunamon struggling in vain, crying out over her current inability to control her actions, though it didn't seem to be from a corrupted spirit. No...Aylin's data was pure. Something else was at play here. That was made even more evident through Aylin suddenly screaming and clutching her head "Torin! Stop them, now!" she commanded.
The Sleipmon, evidently named Torin, huffed at Aylin's conflicted behavior. It seemed conflict with the others was inevitable "You're all going to be sorry when the boss gets here, yes? Now then...if this is how you want to play it, then have at you!"
He noticed the group's close proximity to each other and looked at Aylin, who reluctantly shouted "Goodnight Moon!" as she raised further into the air, though the shining light from the moons on her legs were aimed not at the group, but at Torin. More specifically, his shield. The light refracted off the shield into a large, blinding light that threatened to hinder the group's vision.
Torin gave his own attack "Gungnir!" as he raised his bow into the sky. A loud boom echoes as a thunderbolt strikes his arrow. Pulling back on the bowstring, he looses the arrow towards Ignatius.
Ignatius covers his eyes and as his vision clears, he noticed the sparking arrow by his feet. It crackled fiercely as Ignatius shouted "Everyone, scatter!" A huge explosion erupted in the area in a furious storm of thunder and lightning. Thankfully Yosuke dove behind a nearby rock for cover before the explosion reached him. Ignatius is blown towards Torin, but used that momentum to start stomping towards him "Furious Stride!" With each step jets of flame erupted near Torin, threatening to engulf him in flame.
Torin reared back and started running to avoid the attack, but one jet of flame rose underneath him and scorched him. Still, this wasn't much damage to the Mega level yet. "Not bad. Show me what you're all made of. Perhaps I will listen to you then." he said in a taunting tone. He looked over at Denryu "You've got fire. It's rare I feel the tinge of intimidation from a human. Your partner seems they will prove to be a good battle. I look forward to this." Then, he looked to Mae "I will not pretend to understand your talk of seeing how this path ends, but if you truly think you can change things, then go ahead and try." Aylin still looked...guilty. Unsure. She noticed the bracelets some of them had and felt even more conflicted.
Within the pagoda, Demon's scan would find a single human life sign in there, restrained for the moment, and a spiral of corrupting data next a strange device that seemed to be breaking apart from some kind of intense stress. If Mae looked up at the pagoda as well, there would be many, many dangerous futures originating from that building.
-----
Torin and Aylin's Passive: Goddess and Knight [Passive]: Aylin and Torin fight together in unison, and some of their skills have additional effects if worked off each other.
Aylin's Actions: Goodnight Moon: The crescent shapes on her legs shine with a bright light before firing beams towards an enemy. Upon contact, the target starts to feel drowsy and find it difficult to move too much. If used on Torin’s shield, the light is amplified until it becomes blinding with the aim to distract multiple targets. [3 Post Cooldown, 4 with Torin.]
Torin's Actions: Gungnir: Torin readies an arrow and lifts his bow into the sky as a thunderbolt strikes it, the energy crackling along the empowered arrow. He fires it and wherever it lands results in a massive explosion that sends out bolts of lightning to those unfortunate enough to remain too close. [3 Post Cooldown.]
Ignatius' Actions:
Furious Stride: Gankoomon takes several large, intimidating steps towards an enemy, jets of flame erupting around the unfortunate foe and setting them ablaze [3 Post cooldown.]
Cooldowns: Aylin: Goodnight Moon 0/4 Torin: Gungnir 0/3 Ignatius: Furious Stride 0/3.

Oh? It seemed that there was a bit more to Aylin than met the eye. In one sentence, this Digimon shattered the illusion that she was doing this of her own will - and though it was hard to tell if it was merely a trick, perhaps it would spare her Demon's claws in the long run.
Not that any of that mattered for the Devidramon's current focus. Aylin's blast of light, reflected keenly off of the Sleipmon's shield, threatened to throw the group into a veil of blinding light. Rather than take a risk, the Reppamon and MailBidramon vanished into Denryu's Xros Loader, the General standing safely in the Devidramon's shadow.
As for the dragon himself, his visor easily filtered through the light: Got it! Both the siphon and the human are up on your scanner... but be quick about getting there, that siphon thing already looks like its about to blow!
"Grr..."
The Devidramon gave one annoyed growl of recognition, and the general behind him flicked a card between his fingers. The moment that arrow burrowed into the ground, the general had already slid his card. "Super Particle Accelerator!"
Demon's body gave a pulse, the dragon clasping his arms out in front. In the next few moments, the xros'd Digimon tripled in size, that electrical explosion singing the scales of the now-makeshift wall that covered the area in front of both the Rasielmon and Jesmon, covering them both from the attack.
Torin gave his goading, but Denryu and Demon were already thinking forward. As Demon pulled back, with his one good claw, he'd grasp around the Jesmon's frame before standing to his full height. From the dragon, through Demon's rough voice, Angel's words rolled out:
"I'm counting on you. Leave this much to us!"
And then he threw her. As Demon stood above the fight, Demon gave a full-on pitch, and hurled the Jesmon right for the Pagoda, immediately following up with the cannon on his opposite arm, Volt's aim expertly lining up right below the Jesmon's path: "Primary Cannon!" Three powerful blasts, evenly spaced, would roar on out, each traveling about a foot below the Jesmon's position before trailing off into the ground some distance away from the Pagoda. His intent with this was to literally provide cover fire: the bullets would slow down any direct approach, as well as block any half-hearted projectiles in the Jesmon's direction.
"Don't think you can afford to look away!" Denryu's own threat was accented by Demon aiming his cannon right towards the Sleipmon! "Give me a single opening and I'll have your head!"
'Full Field Scanner' nullifies the blinding effect of 'Goodnight Moon'. Volt locates Toki.
Denryu activates the card 'Super Particle Accelerator' to triple Demon's size.
The expanded size allows him to create a wall with an arm, covering the party while suffering lesser damage to his scales.
While retreating the guard, Demon grasps onto Jesmon. He uses his newly-granted size advantage to hurl Jesmon above the fight, and uses his Primary Cannon to make a wall of bullets separating Jesmon from the below adversaries.
Demon and Denryu taunt Torin to draw his attention.
Primary Cannon
Devidramon fires one to three shots from his cannon. Dark element; the damage is proportional to the number fired (three lesser bullets, two medium bullets, one big bullet, for example).
Card Name: Super Particle Accelerator
Type: Modify Rank: Chrome Digizoid Duration: 3 Posts Effect: The target Digimon triples in size for three turns.

There was something far more sinister and far more insidious than a mere corrupt spirit or a demon at play when it came to this Dianamon. That much was certain as Mae witnessed the Lunamon's crying. "Of course..." She murmured. She didn't dare guess what was at play, for making assumptions was a terrible idea at a time as dire as this. Mae felt as though she needed to detach herself from something here. Doubt. Fear. Yes. That. Mae saw the light of the moon bounce off of the shield of the Sleipmon in a quick, crystal clear vision, before her eyes went back to reality and the ophanim shielded her face in time to avoid being blinded. "Work quickly, Jesmon!" Mae called out to K as she flew forth and the knight was, for all intents and purposes, flung away like another Rasielmon in another nonspecific instance of Super Mega throwing. She uncovered her face and banked to the left a little too late to avoid a thunderbolt making contact and shocking her some. Given she was made of/wearing a lot of metal, this was hilariously more painful than it should have been. Regardless, Mae spoke once more to Torin. "I don't simply think I can. I know I can." Though, she wouldn't deal with him just yet. The Dianamon posed a problem, Mae was aware that these were said to be capable of inciting madness, make you see things that weren't there. With a flick of her arm, ribbons of light surged forth from around the Rasielmon and for Aylin, though unlike previous instances where Mae had utilized Divine Punishment...These were mostly aimed for her legs. Specifically the Goodnight Sisters. Can't have those things shining forever!
Relevant Passives: Fatebreaker [RAM Upgrade Giga]: This entity has the same mysterious foresight that a Rasielmon would possess. As such, Mae has the ability to divine a potentially infinite number of futures, depending on the level she's at. There are, however, limits to her foresight. For one, the lower the level, the more muddied, limited, and opaque the visions will be. The higher, the clearer. Furthermore, in combat, this is only really applicable as a way to warn herself and others of various attacks. Whether she can dodge them or not even with this is entirely on her. Should she successfully dodge an attack she had a vision of, the chances she can dodge the next one are lower. Basically she can’t spam this unless she wants the hurt.
Elemental Connection: Every three turns, Mae can apply one of five elements to her attack, changing it’s properties and/or appearance to suit the opponent she’s facing. They go as follows: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light.
Instinctual Supplement: Fatebreaker ties into this passive--Her foresight is amplified greatly in this form, enabling Mae to have above-average reaction times to a LOT of things. Basically, she’s greater at dodging and/or countering attacks than a good deal of her other forms.
Mae uses Fatebreaker to avoid getting blinded by Goodnight Moon but suffers a pretty shocking hit from Gungnir. Oof. Ouch. On the flip side, she uses Divine Punishment in an attempt to really screw Aylin's legs up. She's got a bit of a plan, don't worry. Divine Punishment: With another sweep of her arm, Mae sends forth several trails of light that attempt to cut through her opponent. If any of them hit, they’re faced not only with damage, but an additional two turns placed onto any cooldowns they may be facing. Three turn cooldown. Cooldowns: Fatebreaker: 0/3 Divine Punishment: 0/3

K wasn't sure what this feeling was in her gullet, this sensation that claimed her ability to talk for a moment. She'd open and close her mouth beneath that armored visage she possessed. Aylin's words and her pain reached the sentinel and there was a look of uncertainty in her eyes. But they were here to save toki, they couldn't be swayed by things like this. Putting names to bodies was important and the Sleipmon seemed to go with what Aylin 'wanted' to do. Goodnight moon and Gungnir was a nasty combo, leaving k blinking rapidly and hitting her helmet with a large hand to clear her vision. She could feel that drowsiness start to pick at her body, but the Jesmon felt something rear it's head again. The sheer undeniable anger that she felt earlier. Before she could direct this anger properly though a few things happened so quickly that the jesmon was just... well she was kind of surprised to suddenly be picked up by Demon. The massive Xros easily finding himself lifting the knight. She'd alter her positioning with her sword and being thrown almost immediately let her sort of gauge what he meant. There was just a momentary nod of course. "Done and done."As she soared through the air the jesmon spun herself using her cape and threw her energy blade in a downward fashion, aiming to hit Torin. Her blade was remarkably fast, capable of traveling through space to hit it's target. She hoped that it would be enough to sort of give an opening to her allies that had already took great efforts to push her forward. The blade would snap back to her hand in the moment before she crashed into, and hopefully though the side of the building where her friend was. She really hoped that there wasn't a barrier or something else this would look amusing if someone decided to peek out of the window just at that moment... Log: -K was thrown -K uses Saberk of time and space to make an attack at torin while flying through the air. It seemed their combo attack did some damage but due to quick thinking on the groups part, a lot of it was mitigated. The incessant taunting by Denryu and Demon did nothing to ease Torin's anger at the situation, so much so that even with K's blade striking him in the back as she flew towards the pagoda his focus remained squarely on the rest of them "A cute effort, but it's too late for your friend. The Siphon's corrupting his totems as we speak and soon he will join us. How do you feel about fighting who you were supposed to be saving?" He taunted back.
Aylin looked at K go towards the pagoda and tried to stop her, but was intercepted when Mae's Divine Punishment lashed around her legs. Part of her diverted her attention to Mae due to this attack, but also due to her not wanting to stop K...she floated down towards the ground, fighting through the searing pain of the Divine Punishment as she dashed towards Mae "Lunar Aura!" she shouted as a blue aura radiated around her. Those close to her, in this case Mae, will start to feel an immense force slam down on her. It was eerily similar to one of ZenCherubimon's abilities.
"Aylin! Stop wasting your time with just one of them! We could have decimated them right now if you just focused! Worthless..." Torin muttered under his breath. He drew a long arrow and braced it in front of him like it were a lance. "Einherjar's Charge!" he shouted as spectral versions of himself appeared at his sides. With a mighty war cry he charged towards Ignatius and Demon with the intent to run them through.
Ignatius shouted "Demon, behind me! Prepare an attack!" he braced himself and called out "Try Again!" as the charging group slammed into him. He grit his teeth as he let out a roar of fury, a blast of energy erupting around him and dissipating the clones while launching Torin into the air.
K would successfully land near the floor where Toki was being kept. Through the broken wall, he sat there, weary and disheveled as the horrific device spun and ripped apart data streams from Toki's digivice. He was chained to the ground, unable to move past a certain point. The device itself looked like a twisted combination of a Digivice and a miniature control spire. Thankfully, it didn't seem to have any adverse affects on K. Toki weakly looked up at K, eyes red from his cries. "You all really came to help...? I..." He clenched his fists, fighting back the tears "He's in so much pain. I...I have to help him. He's suffering and I feel like I can't do anything about it! I've tried shielding my digivice, but nothing...nothing works!" He looked so helpless and panicked. "K...the machine's ruining everything. My friend...my teacher, he's losing this fight. Destroy this thing. I'll...I'll see if there's anything I can salvage. What if it's too late? What if he's...gone?" He ran a hand through his hair and shouted out in frustration. "We were so close! He was going to remember everything...!"
-------
K has successfully entered the room with Toki and the Siphon, which is on the verge of breaking down.

Alright, we got her through!
Keep your focus forward, foxy, we ain't done yet!
"Grrr..."
It was a start, at least - but threats aside, Demon, Mae, and Ignatius had their work cut out for them. Aylin aside, Sleipmon was known for being one of the most mobile Digimon in existence. One wrong move, one wasted chance, and efforts to attack him could easily be all for naught. If Torin fought calmly, he could easily wear down the fighters in front of him. But, instead, he decided to rush recklessly forwards? The Gankoomon was having none of this, and informed Demon of the opening that he was about to receive!
"Got it." His voice was relatively low, as the dragon's left arm gave a click, the cannon's base starting to glow with a fierce, dark crimson energy, similar to that of the pits of the Dark Area. At the same time, Denryu held his Xros Loader forward, a dense amount of his emerald Digisoul beginning to pour out around him, feeding right into Demon's power.
"You were right to be scared."
The General's words were almost flat, as Torin was thrust into the air, Demon's cannon lined up right towards the center of the Sleipmon. The cannon's barrel widened to reveal a much higher caliber weapon. On its own, this attack was enough to leave a football stadium nothing but a crater, but with Demon's size tripled, Sleipmon would be hard-pressed to dodge this well timed shot:
"TITANIC CANNON!"
Demon's voice was drowned out by the sound of his own blast, roaring out with enough ferocity that the clouds above reflected back the crimson light back onto the grass below. The several-meter wide beam of energy threatened to overtake the Sleipmon's position, damning him to the effects of this continuous blast. If this hit?
Well, if he wasn't deleted on impact, the Sleipmon might very well see himself carried up with the blast, forced into the upper atmosphere.
Demon 'readies an attack' and unleashes his ultimate, 'Titanic Cannon', while his size is tripled.
Titanic Cannon
Devidramon stores a massive amount of dark energy into the cannon on his left arm, the construct itself visibly gorged with energy, before aiming it at a target. After firing, a massive beam of crimson energy is shot outward, the detonation on impact enough to turn a full football stadium into a massive crater. Deals catastrophic damage on hit. Once per thread.
SPA Duration: 2/3 Titanic Cannon used.

The ribbons fired forth by Mae had the effect of distracting Aylin from her allies, something that left her equine excuse of a knight for a ally alone to deal with Ignatius and Demon. Of course, having the Dianamon be focused on her is something that one wants to avoid, considering the hellish temperament they're known for. The weight that Aylin had forced upon Mae was -immense.- Enough to force her to the ground and on a knee, and to make her desperately try to stay upright. She had to think quickly--what would be enough to throw her focus off that didn't require her to aim...too well? ... Yes, perfect. A simple gesture of the fingers, and a portal opened below Mae that she aimed her hand at as the circles on her arms began to spin. She put a hand forward as a stream of energy roared forth, the power of the five elements within her cipher contained within. It surged through the portal, a second one opening...above Aylin, the Knowledge Stream erupting downwards to try sending HER to the ground too! ...That might not be a good idea, considering the aura. They'd still wind up in close quarters, but there'd hopefully be nothing holding her down.
Mae fires a Knowledge Stream through a hastily opened Spatial Relocation to try getting another good shot at Aylin! Knowledge Stream: Mae combines all five of the elements that she can use for her Elemental Connection passive to fire a beam that can best be described as pure, concentrated unmaking. As all five of the elements from that passive are present, this attack...has no element. It simply is. Three turn cooldown. Spatial Relocation: An ability that's best described as Mae opening a portal or two. One serves as an entry point and another as an exit. The purpose these portals serve is manyfold. Moving long distances in a brief period of time? Check. Extending the range (and placement) of your attacks by firing them through the portals? Check. This has a three turn cooldown, and while Mae is able to chain the following moves into this one (Namely Knowledge Stream, Holy Bullet, Divine Punishment and Sefer Raziel), they are given an additional turn of cooldown. This move's cooldown also goes up by a turn. The portals have a maximum range of 700 feet.
Cooldowns: Fatebreaker: 1/3 Divine Punishment: 1/3 Knowledge Stream: 0/4 Spatial Relocation: 0/4

K crashed through the room with relative ease, the battle behind and below her slowly loosing sound. Slowly loosing focus, she felt her breathing slow, her pulse quicken. Her eyes widened slowly and her saberk flickered. Right here was the goal that they had come here for, for her friend that was here giving his all not to be torn asunder. She'd make a hesitant step forward, the earlier anger that she had felt was replaced with dismay for all of a moment.
The eyes though.
She felt that grip at her chest, her core. The harsh twisting knives she felt for her friend when she saw those eyes. Those words as he spoke, telling her how they were fighting. K felt her own core reach out like trying to connect with the person in front of her. She'd step forward slowly, anger crossing her face quickly. She'd pull back her free hand and bring it down onto the device, again. Again. Again. Again
There were tears streaming down from her eyes, rolling rivers down her cheeks and she'd stare down at toki.
"Why would he need to remember everything! He has you toki. His time in the world as an active participant has fallen to you! YOU were his spirit user and... and whatever this was-"
She'd bite her lip and find her form stuttering out, the first real loss of control she had experienced in a long time. The shutmon staggering and falling to a knee gripping at her chest.
"What did you do Toki?"
She could feel the ice laced water rolling down her cheeks, her body temperature in this form was always so low after all...
Log: -K made a basic attack at the Control spire thingie. -Due to how she's feeling K couldn't hold her form all too well and de-digivolved to shutmon. She looks quite out of place!

Torin looked in fear at the oncoming beam of destruction. There was no way he was going to avoid it all, but he had one shot. He aimed his shield to the side and called out "Odin's Breath!" Chilling air burst out of the shield and launched him to the side, though the beam seared into his shield arm, utterly disintegrating it into oblivion as he cried out in pain. The beam missed the rest of him as he landed, staggered from the loss of his limb. He looked stoic all the same, keeping his composure as he took in a deep breath. Then, he vanished, flower petals being kicked up by his immense speed. "I acknowledge your power. Great strength such as yours is a welcome sight! Tis a shame you use such strength to get in our way, but you have my respect!" Torin's voice echoed in the night sky. Suddenly, the earth trembled "Might of Valhalla!" Torin appeared in the sky and crashed into the ground with such great force the ground shook, slabs of stone rising up and flying towards the group, Aylin and Mae included. The trembling could be felt in the pagoda, but thankfully no structural damage occurred. The stones flew with bone crushing force as Torin stood in the epicenter, his remaining fist clenched in anticipation to continue the battle. Aylin shook her head, fighting back against both the mental influences at play and against Mae "I have...to break free...!" she muttered to herself as the Knowledge Stream crashed into her from above. The force from the elemental strike sent her closer to the ground, forcing her to kneel on the grass. Her aura was gone, so Mae wouldn't have to worry about being dragged along with her. Aylin regained her composure quickly enough to avoid the stone launched by Torin's attack. Chilling air started to fall upon the field from Odin's Breath. Aylin was...conflicted as to what she must do. She stood up slowly, shaking as anger took hold "I am not...your...puppet!" she shouted as a bowstring materialized along her weapon. She took a knee and aimed an arrow into the sky "Celestial Alignment!" The arrow shattered in the sky and its shards landed in a circle. Not around the party. Around Torin. Gravity started to warp and press down around Torin "Aylin! What's the meaning of this?!" He demanded as the chilled air flowed down into the gravity, creating a blizzard. Torin was being tormented by his own ability. This combo attack was supposed to be for them! Torin struggled to move out of the field, breaking through with a shout, shaking the frost off "The boss is not going to be happy with your decision, Aylin." he looked at her and everyone else "Fine. I'll take you all on. He'll be here soon and you're all going to regret it!" once more he vanished, immense speed making it nearly impossible to perceive him with the naked eye. Ignatius had shielded Yosuke during the quake "Are you okay, my friend?" To which Yosuke nodded "I am. I am, don't worry. We've got him on the ropes. Hopefully K found Toki...please be okay, Toki. I can't lose you..."Toki held up his digivice and hugged it tightly to his chest "It was what I wanted to do, K. It was supposed to happen when we found all of his totems...he was getting his memories back little by little. I learned more about him as he taught me and helped me grow." he clenched his fists and ran a hand through his hair "I was selfish. I relied on him, wanted to see him at the peak of his power. I wanted to know who he was at that point...and my excitement got us into this mess...! I rushed in, and lost...! And now...now...!"
The spirit floating in the middle of the room settled down after the destruction of the device. Toki felt something in his mind. And for a moment, at least in his mind, Toki was outside, standing in the field of flowers beneath the moonlit sky. It was quiet. No fighting. No one else was here, save for a figure sitting with their legs crossed in the middle of a zen garden near the pagoda. Toki approached them, the rabbit-like Digimon with crystals floating above their head smiling at him "Toki..." he said. He gestured for him to sit with him, and Toki did, sitting the same way. He noticed the scar across his torso and put a hand to his own chest. "Toki. You know what is happening, don't you? It is time for me to finally close my eyes and rest."Toki looked away, choking back the tears. "I...but I'm not ready for you to go. I'm not ready to do this on my own."The Digimon looked at him with a sad smile "Listen to me. That device...it's corrupted so much of my core I can barely stay awake as it is...I can use what's left of my very being to repair it. You have so much time left, Toki. My time is over. It's time for you to see who you really are. Everything you've done for the Digital World, for those around you...those were your decisions, Toki. I merely helped find the courage within yourself to hope for the future again. To hope for peace. Goodness. I...will admit I wish I could have taught you some more. But you've grown so much. I'm so proud of you..." they stood up against the full moon looming behind them. Tears streamed down their face, body fading into the light of the moon "You and Aylin...are my greatest students. My greatest treasures."
Toki stood and reached for their hand and held it "I won't let you down...! Everything you've taught me, I'll...I'll do everything I can to make me worth the time!" he broke down and held their fading hand, sobbing "Don't go...please...not yet.""You're never alone. You were worth every second of my final days. Goodbye..." was the last thing they said before their body faded away completely. Toki opened his tear-filled eyes to see the Spirit shine brightly, the fragmented parts of its data piecing itself back together, purging the corrupted data from its very being. It was...repairing itself, just like they said it would. Toki's hands shook as he swiped his digivice along the data, bringing it in. His digivice shined with a bright light as the colors changed from the purple and brown of Turuiemon, to white and blue. He held it close to his chest "Thank you..." he whispered. He looked over at K before he wiped his eyes "...He's gone. The spirit..." No. The spirit wasn't gone. "The spirit's...resting. Finally resting...K, there's another fight coming. I can feel it. Are you with me?" He asked his long time friend. When K gave her answer, Toki began walking down the stairs of the pagoda and approached the doors. He pressed his hands against the door and shoved it open to the scene outside. Unfazed, either through exhaustion or an eerie sense of calm about him, he stepped forward and held out his Digivice. Yosuke looked over at the now opened doors "T-Toki..? Toki!" he shouted, elated that his son was alive. His Digivice looked different. Was it safe? Mae might have been able to see glimpses of Toki and his spirit's final meeting as soon as Toki made himself known. Toki looked at everyone that was gathered and smiled softly as he tried to keep his composure "I'm okay, everyone. Now...let's put an end to this. Dad? Thank you..." he said, knowing that his father must have been the one to organize all of this. He looked at Aylin "It will be okay, Aylin...I promise."
Aylin looked at Toki, shocked "I-I'm...I'm so sorry. I don't...I don't understand how you can forgive me.""Because this isn't your fault...it's no one's fault but the one who did all this. Now..." he held out his hand and a radiant stream of data enveloped his hand that he swiftly brought to his Digivice "Ancient Spirit...Evolution!!" With that determined shout, Toki's form floated into the air, covered in blinding data. The form that emerged from the light walked along the air with ephemeral grace, the remaining data forming a large moon-like shape behind him that then dispersed into several dark blue crystals that floated above his head. His long ears were adorned with earrings in the shape of the stars and moon. His robes shared similar designs. His eyes opened, revealing bright white irises against dark blue sclera, like moons against the night sky. He held out his right hand and a large hammer materialized as he stood up straight, weapon at his side "Tsusagimon."------- Toki's spirit sacrifices the remainder of its sentience to repair the spirit totem, making it safe to use. Toki uses Ancient Spirit Evolution to become Tsusagimon. The legend has been passed on. Aylin's Actions: Celestial Alignment: Aylin fires a large arrow into the sky that shatters, with shards of it embedding themselves in a circular area around the enemy group. In this circle, gravity warps and presses down, slowing down the opponents and progressively gets worse the longer they’re in it. Combines with Odin’s Breath from Torin and the resulting blizzard increases in intensity. [3 Post Cooldown, 4 with Torin.] Torin's Actions: Odin’s Breath: Chilling air emanates from his shield that blasts outwards into a raging blizzard that engulfs the enemy party. If combined with Celestial Alignment, the blizzard condenses, becoming more furious and chilling. [3 post Cooldown, 4 with Ayln.] Might of Valhalla: Torin jumps into the air and slams into the ground with earth-shattering force, creating a tremor that launches slabs of earth towards the enemies. [3 post Cooldown.] Cooldowns: Aylin: Goodnight Moon 2/4, Lunar Aura 1/2, Celestial Alignment 0/4. Torin: Gungnir 2/4, Einherjar's Charge 1/2, Odin's Breath 0/4 Might of Valhalla 0/3 Ignatius: Furious Stride 2/3, Try Again! 1/2
