The card ability the human used to empower his Digimon caught Charismon off guard as the vines whipped around his arms and legs, binding him in place "You...!" he growled as he was completely at the mercy of the onslaught of attacks headed his way. He was unfortunately unable to spot the initial ability Angel was setting up for.
Mae's sudden digivolution actually shook him as those claws swiped along the front of his body, their light causing intense damage and pain. He desperately tried to break from the restraints, but soon K's own attack in the form of a swing from her sword cleaved into his form. If he didn't find a way out of this, they would all tear him to pieces. The effects of Toki's Moonlight's Blessing would also blast him with a burst of bright energy.
Finally, Toki floated forward and struck at various points with his fist "Karmic Resonance." these strikes were thankfully merciful, but only goaded Charismon further. Glowing rings pulsed on his body. "What was that? Your best, you vile pretender? All of you...have no idea what you're messing with." he looked up to the sky and cried out "Delusions of Grandeur!"
Dark energies swirl around Ultimate Chaosmon as its body pulses with an unholy amount of power "Corrupted...Aurora Undulation..!!" Its wings spread as power condensed along them, focusing onto a single point in front of it. Then, a beam launched into the ground below and swept along the entire area, leaving behind small explosions in its wake. Aylin and Dukemon are hit directly by the beam, sending them flying into the ground, incapacitated for the time being as the beam continued to tear into the cliff side.
Toki watched the horrible destruction and saw his father and friend be swept away in the chaos. His hand gripped tightly around his hammer as another gem began to glow above him. "Soon, you'll regret the evils you've wrought." he said with a piercing glare in his direction.
"Evils?!" the beam would potentially burn through the vines, allowing Charismon to escape "Words of the truly naive. My methods are the true way humans and Digimons are meant to exist. Humans are a source of energy. Humans can keep us alive forever. They're weak, but they are perfect sources."
"Just be silent you deranged lunatic. Manipulating and using others for such awful things is vile. The world needs understanding. And it's a shame you're incapable of it."
--------
Charismon takes extreme damage from the party's combined efforts, though still seems to have enough energy to gloat and fight back. Toki uses Karmic Resonance on Charismon. Charismon uses Delusions of Grandeur to empower Chaosmon's Corrupted Aurora Undulation. Dukemon and Aylin are incapacitated for the turn.
Toki's Actions/Cooldowns
Origin of Suffering at 3/5 charges

At a later point within 3 turns, Tsusagimon can activate the ability again and the rings will disappear, each one feeling like an intense punch in the marked areas. (2 Turn Cooldown. Begins after triggering the damage.)

Charismon's Actions/Cooldowns
Delusions of Grandeur: Empowers the next attack of an allied Digimon. [4 post cooldown.]

"That's right, it's me."
The black-furred Renamon gave a grin, lodging her arms right in place as she intended. With the fox in position, the Xros General below wasted no time swiping a second card, Angel putting all of her focus in keeping the Charismon restrained. His arms and legs were bound with his own, the strong grip of the Super Mega's body additionally locking right at his back.
Then came the onslaught. In direct contact with the puppeteer, all Angel could really do was grit her teeth and endure. The force of Mae's attack could be felt right at her midsection, the edge of K's swing grazing her own side, Angel herself even gaining a ring on her shoulder from the Karmic Resonance. But she endured without complaint, even able to use the mastermind's body as cover for the beam. Even as the vines started to wither, all she did was give a sick cackle.
Live forever? Not you.
From the ground, Angel's Diamond Castle roared up from the ground, giant, sharpened pillars of impressive crystal erupting straight upwards! They were also jagged, giant blades as they first appeared: a few were ajar, meant to wall off the Chaosmon, but three were aimed straight up.
Aiming to pierce right through the puppetmaster. But perhaps the Charismon would think that the Renamon would let him go, or push him down against the pillar, attempt to give him an avenue of escape.
... No. No, she did not, a sick grin spreading across her expression.
"How about I show you the door to hell?"
Demon's words echoed out, and left unchecked, that spear would attempt to pierce through both of them. Though, it wasn't all as seen: to prevent an unchecked answer from his own team, Denryu flicked the card between his fingers, showing what he had just slashed to Yosuke.
'Reboot'.
Angel endures the shockwave of several hits from her own team, her 'Diamond Castle' occurring as intended. Three pillars attempt to wall off the Chaosmon, while three aim straight up, intending to pierce through the Charismon from below. Angel keeps her grapple through the entire duration, ignoring any damage done to herself, relying completely on her tamer to back her up. She holds Charismon in an apparent death grip. Denryu utilizes the card 'Reboot'. Cards used: 3/7 Algorithmic Reach Duration: 2/3. Vines heavily damage. Diamond Castle Duration: 1/5 [Passive] Savagery PASSIVE: Savagery All attacking moves performed by Savage are cursed. Healing moves are only fifty percent effective at treating these wounds, and any healing move either against or by the afflicted target gain +1 cooldown. Diamond Castle ULTIMATE: Diamond Castle Renamon litters the ground with a large number of seed pods, which burrow into the ground after activation. In the next after use, giant pillars of crystal, exceeding thirty feet in height, sprout from the ground in an attempt to eviscerate the opponent from below. Following this, the pillars remain for quite a while, acting as further cover to hunt down an adversary. Five Post Duration. Once Per Thread. Reboot AP-33 Card Name: Reboot Type: Modify Rank: Chrome Digizoid Duration: 1 Post The target Digimon saves its current state of being in the matrix of the Digital World. In the next post it will return to this state, undoing any damage or healing, buffs and debuffs, status effects, and Digivolutions or degenerations that it has experienced. In essence, it is as if the last set of posts has not affected it.

That felt good. That always felt good. Mae couldn't really find a way to describe how it felt to sink her claws into something so DESERVING of the blight that they carried, even while they shined the way they did at present. She did, however, snarl. "You talk too much. You talk more than uninformed idiots do." If Angel wanted to show Charismon the door to hell, then let it be known that Mae was willing to send him there herself. She knew the spears were coming, her premonition had been kind enough to inform her of that, and the Rasielmon ducked, evading the spears quite deftly. Coincidentially, the vision Mae was given showed the Chaosmon actually performing an attack. So they didn't quite...totally cripple it. The laser swept across the battlefield, and the Rasielmon quite simply flew up and away from the explosions left in it's wake. Something that was a little more difficult to do than just dodging the spears. However, this gave Mae some momentum as she flew right back at Angel and Charismon, the silver on her body quickly being replaced by the same blue on her claws and wings as she threw an even -more- powerful punch towards one of the spears aimed for Charismon, if it had even hit. Her intent? Drive that stake in a little further.
Relevant Passives: Fatebreaker [RAM Upgrade Giga]: This entity has the same mysterious foresight that a Rasielmon would possess. As such, Mae has the ability to divine a potentially infinite number of futures, depending on the level she's at. There are, however, limits to her foresight. For one, the lower the level, the more muddied, limited, and opaque the visions will be. The higher, the clearer. Furthermore, in combat, this is only really applicable as a way to warn herself and others of various attacks. Whether she can dodge them or not even with this is entirely on her. Should she successfully dodge an attack she had a vision of, the chances she can dodge the next one are lower. Basically she can’t spam this unless she wants the hurt.
Epitaph: This entity has heightened reflexes, thanks to her foresight being enhanced even further. As such, she’s able to think and move quicker in a fight, enabling her to operate at her fullest capacity.
Cipher of the Elements: Every three turns, Mae can apply one of ten elements to herself, changing both how her form looks (in terms of colors,) and how her attacks appear/work for three turns before she reverts to how she was previously. Oh, and her weaknesses change, too. They go as follows:
Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, Metal, Darkness, Wood, Ice, Thunder.
Firstly, Mae goes out of her way to avoid both the spears and Chaosmon's big laser, utilizing Fatebreaker to do so! Then, she'd activate Oversoul before going to throw a basic attack at...Charismon, aiming to drive the spear aimed for his chest further in, if it hit. Oversoul: Rasielmon turns even more blue than normal as what seems like the weight of the world comes upon her. For three turns, Rasielmon's attacks gain 20% increased power, and Rasielmon herself gains 30% increased speed. Three turn cooldown. Durations: Spatial Claw: 1/3 Oversoul: 0/3 Cooldowns: Oversoul: Waiting... Spatial Claw: Waiting... Holy Familiar: 1/3 Knowledge Stream: 2/3 Fatebreaker: 0/3

This blabbering fool of a Charismon was making it difficult to concentrate fully on the fight. Which in part made a small headache sort of form. She'd growl and step forward, her body hitching a bit as she felt that vile writhing mess that was the regeneration, the damage that charismon put out and her own digital hazard muck with her body. She'd grunt and almost fall to a knee, catching herself by the sheer effort of her will alone. The corrupted Aurora beam swept from one side to the next, making the jesmon's eyes widen a little bit and on reflex she brought up her saberk to defend herself. The destructive power of the beam made her cry out and she'd skid backwards the blade blasting apart; the few shards of it that were left over vanishing completely. She'd throw out both of her hands, a massive gate of stone, metal and scrawling text appearing out of nothingness. She'd have maybe a moment before charging the chaosmon, intending on tackling it into the intense air current that would attempt to draw the chaosmon in. If she was successful she would have the master and the puppet separated for a short time. Allowing her allies some respite from the creature that was an amalgamation of spirits.... Regardless of her success of dragging the Chaosmon into the beyond of the gate, she'd have to take a moment to look around to make sure without a doubt that this was the same place. The same burning place that she had to escape from before, but this time she was the master of it, she was the one that was in control in this space. Even if it was for a hair of a moment, she would fight here. If she was on her own however... well. She could use this time to recuperate. Log: -K tries to block a beam with a sword and gets heavily damaged. -K opens up Gate of Destiny behind the chaosmon, attempting to tackle it in. -If successful the fight between the two will continue inside, if not she's outie for a few posting rounds. Don't worry I have a plan.Passives: [RAM UPGRADE GIGA]: Crimson Mantle: Jesmon's signature cape; adjusted for size for each Digivolution. This cape has a few soft abilities each that scales with the level given. It may provide flight [if the wearer already can fly their movement is increased by one step] and it can block a single attack relevant to the power of the level of the host digimon before implementing a cool down of two posts for the block itself. This mantle may be passed to others but it's effectiveness for others is generally halved.
Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health. When struck by damage, this healing factor increases to a large amount for three posts and goes on cool down for an equal cool down of whatever move was used on the host. If the move was a once per thread move, a cool down of six posts will be implemented instead.
OathSworn: Any Virus Type deals 30% less damage to this digimon. MoveSaberk of Time and Space: A blade considered most holy, may strike where the host deigns. It may leap great distances as both travel time and space between doesn't matter. Sight of a target is required to strike. May be used Indefinitely but while in use... Blades of the Faithful can only be used as an Aegis. The damage of Saberk-OTAS is incredibly high when close and loses much power when used to strike at afar.
Gate of Destiny|Loaded Move: This digimon can summon a massive set of gates, easily large enough to even allow an examon to pass through them with a relative ease. Once the gate's doors are open [during combat] an intense surge of air attempts to draw in any hostile opponent within fifty meters into the gates. Within these gates lay a realm of impossibility, varying time to time. This realm is a black and white grainy staticky mess. Lightning crawls through the clouds, providing the perpetual darkness of the realm with light. Within this realm an opponent finds their form attacked by the very energies of this place. Dealing a large constant amount of damage every post. At the end of the duration individuals still within it will be shunted out to the same location they entered in. Outside of combat this move can be used for transit from place to place using the realm as a midpoint. Those that would be considered an ally or those using this move are not harmed by the energies of the realm they are drawn into. Once per thread. Three post duration. The user of this move must enter if others do, regardless of affiliation. Cooldown:Odin's Judgment: [2/4] Valhalla's Regeneration: [0/3] Gate of Destiny: N/A Durations:Digital hazard: [3/3] Valhalla's Regeneration: [1/3] Claw of deception: [1/2] Cards: [1/7] VB-33 Card Name: Digital Hazard Type: Upgrade Rank: Platinum Duration: 3 Posts Effect: The Digital Hazard symbol emblazons on the target Digimon's chest, removing all thoughts but battle from their mind. This was definitely not going as well as he'd hoped. Everything that happened around Charismon was calculated and fell into place perfectly. Just who were these people? Charismon struggled and tried to push himself away from the vines. As he was certain he was about to avoid the rising spires of the castle, Toki clapped his hands together once "Release." With that single word, the glowing rings on both Charismon and Angel dissipated, and while Angel didn't feel that much force from anything, Charismon was assaulted by a series of powerful blows with each ring. The force pushed him onto the castle, impaling him violently.
Meanwhile, Chaosmon tried to reach out for Charismon, but the walls blocked off its approach...and its escape. It lumbered and tried to push itself away from the Gate of Destiny, but the pull was too strong even for its massive form. K and UltimateChaosmon are both flung into the hostile dimension that is within the gate, separated from the rest of the party.
UltimateChaosmon growled and BanchoLeomon's arm reached outward "Corrupted...Shishi Raouzan!!" It screamed out as it swiped at K with a glitched and corrupted version of one of BanchoLeomon's signature moves. The tanto swung heavily towards her, and swung again, desperate to even get one hit out while in this dimension that was tearing apart its already unstable body.
Back with the main group, Charismon struggled to pull itself off the castle, only for Mae's attack to drive him further down the castle. Her relentless offensive paid off in just the way she wanted and drove him further down. "Damn...you! Puppet Master!" he reached up as strings launched to the top of the castle. He was desperate to pull himself off. However, that wouldn't come to pass so easily. Toki pressed his hands together again "Meditation Surge." All of a sudden, for Charismon, the force of gravity pushed down on him, sending him further down the castle as the strings snapped. With a pained scream, Charismon's data starts to fade, though something was...off.
With the aid of Reboot, Dukemon was restored to before he was hit by the beam. His weapons were at the ready, despite the apparent...victory. Aylin groaned and stood up, ready to continue the fight despite her injuries.
As Charismon's body began to fade, he started to laugh maniacally as he drifts away from the castle, intangible. The totems around his body went berserk, fusing into his form "It was amusing seeing you react to your antithesis. The noble warrior monk who teaches for the future...against the crazed manipulator who desperately clings to the past. What fun. What fun."
The data darkened, forming into a mass that looked like a Cherubimon. Vice Cherubimon, though this one's form was empowered beyond a normal Mega. "What fun it will be to kill you..." He opened his eyes with a sinister, manic grin "...again."
A primal fear welled up within Toki. Something was telling him to run. Just run. To run for his life. Just who were they fighting? Then it clicked. Toki didn't run. He stood fast and looked at the nemesis before him.
Cherubimon lifted a hand as storm clouds appeared above them "Final Judgement!" The battle was on and no time was wasted as countless bolts of thunder cracked and sundered the landscape.
Dukemon and Aylin focused on regrouping with the others, dodging the lightning as they did so. Toki stood there stoically as the bolts missed him. His eyes narrowed. This whole time...this Digimon was just toying with him and his spirit. All of this suffering. All of this hatred and manipulation...for this?
Aylin clenched her fists "You were there that day...it's because of you he..." she shook his head "No. He knew he was going to die...but you still took away his precious final moments...this time, you're not getting away from the justice you're owed."
-------
Charismon's form is decimated by the onslaught. Toki activates Karmic Resonance, pushing Charismon further down the castle. Mae's attack and Toki's follow up with Meditation surge struck a 'fatal' blow. Charismon's form fractures and changes, using the remaining totems at his disposal to reconstruct his own data, becoming his true self once more. Vice Cherubimon.

Fuck, that hurt.
Despite Angel's confidence in their plan, as soon as the tip of that diamond castle pieced through both the Charismon and herself, the Renamon found herself in an incredible deal of pain, compounded when that spear was further forced through by the Rasielmon's efforts. Even as the Charismon tried to struggle off, however, the fox would keep him pushed right on down on that spear, until Toki dragged him down even further, out of the Renamon's grip.
Gritting her teeth, she'd push, and force herself off of that spear, data fiercely leaking out from her chest until the 'Reboot' finally kicked in. With a flash of data, that hole in her chest was completely gone, the Renamon no worse for wear. She blinked as she took stock of the battlefield.
The Chaosmon was gone, and the Charismon had been deleted - or so she thought. The fox gave a 'tsk', seeing that 'gas' soon form into a new Digimon. And at its sight, and the storm cracking above, she swore under her breath. "Bastard..."
"Yosuke-san, this way." With a nod, the General would dash, making a break towards the position of those diamond pillars. He didn't know where the lightning was going to strike, but he did know it would be drawn towards taller objects. The humans, therefore, should take cover near them as they would act as makeshift lightning rods.
Angel herself, however, found angered fangs gritting past her lips. She grit her teeth, and poised herself to take the safer, lower ground - but not before a crimson mass of electricity formed in her claw. She tensed her nails, and sent the attack - a bladed arc of crimson electricity - to slash right through the center of the Cherubimon.
But really, this was more of a passing blow. "Tch. Did I blow my payload too soon?"
Angel takes 'fatal' damage along with the Charismon - but the entire amount was erased with 'Reboot'. Denryu takes cover near the pillars of 'Diamond Castle', as Angel uses 'Crimson Arc' while taking lower ground, for cover.

"And so you reveal your true colors." The ophanim spoke as she and Angel alike had dealt a 'fatal' blow to the Charismon, his finery (if one could really call it that) having been stripped away and rearranged by the totems to reveal their true foe. A Vice Cherubimon, one that reportedly killed Toki's spirit. Old grudges ran deep, it appeared. "Perhaps it's time we avenged your spirit, Toki." Thunder boomed as lightning was called down by the corrupt, lapine creature all throughout the field. The Chaosmon had been temporarily relocated by K into a Gate of Destiny (what a way to use such a move, really) and...taken out of the fight. Why was this important? Because it left a grand total of five combatants in this battle. The ophanim. The reincarnated legend. The embodiment of savagery. The knight of crimson, and the true villain. On the subject of that last one, Mae surged forth, a bolt of lightning striking her head-on and frying parts of her data as she continued to make use of her manipulation of the view of fate to it's fullest. In a rare display, her foresight was still...working to an extent. It wasn't enabling her to miraculously evade anything again just yet, but she seemed to know that Angel was going to strike for the center. As the lightning tore through her, she aimed to soar around Cherubimon in an attempt to cut off one possible avenue of escape for the accursed lapine. By flanking him. She figured that the Cherubimon might be able to mitigate the damage her claws would cause, so she opted for a different attack. A sword materialized from near Mae, one she grasped and struck out towards Cherubimon from the side! It surged with power from her Oversoul, too, something that enhanced the potential that this strike bore. "Don't worry if you did, I'm here too." She told Angel. The ophanim felt she had a point. Angel may have utilized her strongest abilities a bit early, but Mae herself had a repertoire from hell to unload. She could easily fill in the gaps.

K was glad she was able to pull the Chaosmon away from it's master. This would make the fight that they were currently deep into a little easier, even if she fell in the gate realm they would have a limited amount of time to make some leaps and bounds against the master. K's head jerked and she had to back off from the first swing, a corrupted version of a move she didn't recognize. But it utilized the huge sword that was from the BanchoLeomon head. She'd snarl as the first swing missed thankfully but the few following swipes she wasn't so lucky. Grunting as they tore into her armor the Jesmon could feel her body shaking in an effort to fight against all the damage it was doing. So she did the only thing she really could. She shifted into a form greater than the one that she held currently. Yes her form had regeneration and was healing the damage that was done by the others but this form had the needed firepower. This form had everything that she could give and further still... She had a few more tricks up her sleeves. This beast needed to be broken apart, and if she had the power to she would break it here. If she did not at the very least she'd give those she was fighting with time. She'd also be able to with any luck be able to overwhelm the beast, making it impossible for it to rightfully recover from their bout in this realm. Ultimately the examon towered over the amalgamation of spirits, her eyes burning brightly with the passion that she held for this world. No... The passion she held for both worlds. Cherubimon smirked, all too happy to watch his opponents try to face him. He extended a hand out, the Crimson Arc jolting across his arm "Hmhm...well that certainly stings. I hope that's not all you've got, little fox. That castle was certainly something. A shame that seemed to drain you quite a bit."
Without looking, he snatched the Mae's blade between two fingers, brow quirking slightly as the energy burned through his finger and sank into his side. He nonchalantly floated away "I'd love to see you avenge the fool who gave his life for the weak Digimon of Terminus all those years ago. And now they sacrifice everything for a human, the ones who encroach on our lands and challenge our ways of life. This world belongs to those of us are strong. We can shape its very existence and laws with our own hands. We can live hundreds, if now thousands of lifetimes. Humans at their oldest barely have a fraction of the lives we have had, so why pay heed to a people who die within a blink? It's pointless."
Cherubimon raised his hand as a dark orb of energy formed. "You like to play with gravity, yes? Well let's see how you enjoy the crushing force yourself. Cherubi Hand!" the orb threatened to pull the group into it. Dukemon and Toki were unfortunately drawn in while Aylin anchored herself to the ground with her weapon "Everyone, get away!" she called out.
Within the orb, those inside would be tossed around violently in the confined space, slamming into its walls and into each other. Aylin swung her weapon, fighting the pull of the orb as both ends of the polearm detached "Orbiting Chains!" Both blades, attached by crystalline chains whipped about like they had minds of their own as Aylin danced in the air, manipulating their course.
The blades lashed out, digging deep into Cherubimon's arms, which caused him to lose focus on the orb, which shattered and released the trapped Digimon. "Like father like daughter...a disgrace all the same." he spat out.
As Toki recovered from the attack, he threw out a few crystal shards "I won't let your twisted ideology win...and don't you dare...talk to Aylin that way! Crystal Garden!" He swung his hammer and shattered the crystals midair, which triggered the crystal growth. Lotus blossoms bloomed within the air, slicing into Cherubimon's form as they rained down upon him, vines trapping him in a maze of shining gems.
Dukemon's wings shined brightly to capitalize on this attack "Radiant Wings!" The six wings shot out beams of light that all focused on Cherubimon, burning through and blasting him through the crystal "You disrespect humanity. You disrespect the strives we've made. Worst of all you've disrespected my son and the spirit he held dear! Your reign ends now."
Cherubimon clutched his burned chest and growled at the opposition. He was outnumbered...but he had generations of experience. He wouldn't lose to amateurs...he looked up in horror as the fifth crystal shined above Toki's head. That meant only one thing. Danger.
Within the Gate of Destiny, Chaosmon gazed upon the dragon, in awe of the power before them. It let out a weak cry of "Release us...delete...us..." Before thrashing wildly and from its cores, a devastating blast of energy surged around it "Ultima Burst!!" The energy violently crackled with the Gate, expanding out of control.

Angel didn't expect the 'Crimson Arc' to do much.
It was a throwaway attack used on a retreat, one that seemingly just grazed over the Cherubimon's arm. Ordinarily, that would have been acceptable - she just had to regroup, gather her senses, and try again... but the Cherubimon made one little mistake.
He goaded her. Taunted her.
The Renamon grit her teeth, and as that dark ball appeared, kept her back prone to one of the walls of the Diamond Castle, sitting near the two humans in cover. And it was here that the Renamon gave her request.
"Digital Hazard." Her tone was rough, angered, and slighted.
"Hm? Angel, you'll-"
"I'm not fucking arguing. That fat angel just insulted Team Metal Drive, and Demon's roaring inside my head. Give me. Fucking. Digital Hazard."
Alright, there was no arguing with her, and Denryu wasn't about to tell her know. A quick flick of a card, and that red logo emblazoned itself on the black Renamon's chest, her fur quickly raising into hackles as she bared her fangs. As soon as that vortex disappeared, the fox turned the corner, a heavy mass of electricity held in her right hand, as she hurled it into the air.
EAT THIS YOU @#!^@#$&!#!
Angel didn't exactly have the best state of mind right now, but that was a strong activation of Devil's Lightning: as soon as it would reach the space above the Cherubimon's head, a powerful storm would crackle forth, an impressive bolt of crimson lightning arcing to strike right down on the Cherubimon.
The time for tactics was gone. With the 'final boss' in sight, it was just a matter of taking them down.
Cards Used: 4/7
Diamond Castle Duration: 3/5 Crimson Arc Ready! Devil's Lightning Duration: 1/3 Digital Hazard Duration (+all, damage to self): 1/3

Devil's Lightning Combining the forces of electricity and darkness, Savage tenses a claw to create a ball of red, electrical energy, before hurling it into the air. The ball expands into a fierce, electrical storm, striking the three nearest targets within a hundred foot range, for as long as its duration. Three Post Duration, Three Post Cooldown

The ophanim had only biting words for Cherubimon. "You IDIOT. Giving your life for the weak isn't the sign of a fool, it's the sign of someone who actually bears strength. Something you sorely lack, you egotistical, downright PATHETIC excuse of a lagomorph." At Aylin's direction to get away from the vortex? Mae did. She soared on wings of blue...towards the ground. She stabbed her claws into it to anchor herself there and keep the orb from affecting her. This was well-timed, as the blue claws she had been using this whole time turned into class and promptly shattered when the orb itself shattered. Mae got to her feet, the angel staring up at Cherubimon with eyes full of every sort of synonym for ire one could imagine. Insulting someone trying to do right by their father? Why, that actually pissed her off. The Rasielmon watched as Angel summoned up a storm from above, and opted to bring forth one of her own. The circle on her left arm began to spin, slowly at first before it revved up in intensity, with the one on her right following suit. Five became one on the left. Five became one on the right. The focused elements were given form at the palms of Mae's hands as she put them together. Two were remaining, and finally, one was all that was left. This was the Knowledge Stream that she had access to in this form. She aimed up towards Cherubimon and let the attack loose, a surging beam of power comprised of -every element within Mae's Cipher right now- firing up towards Cherubimon from below! A surely worrisome addition to everything else that Cherubimon faced right now.
Mae uses her final turn of Spatial Claw to fly towards and anchor herself to the ground to avoid Cherubi Hand. Once Cherubi Hand ends, she fires an Oversoul-enhanced Knowledge Stream up from below Cherubimon. Knowledge Stream: Five became ten, and ten becomes one. Rasielmon unifies all ten of the elements she has access to within the ciphers on her arms in order to fire forth a surging beam of energy brought forth from this unification. It’s a severely powerful attack, so getting hit by this is ill-advised. Three turn cooldown. Durations: Spatial Claw: 3/3 - Ends this turn. Oversoul: 2/3 Cooldowns: Spatial Claw: 0/2 Holy Familiar: 3/3 (not that it matters since Mae can't use that in this form) Fatebreaker: 2/3 Knowledge Stream: 0/3 Brave Blade: 1/1

K's eyes narrowed slowly as the chaosmon seemed to be in awe of her, was this really a time to do something like that. Her hand tightened around her lance and the free hand she had slowly raised up to grasp at what amounted to the sky. But then of course came the plea. The plea of a suffering amalgamation of spirits and the one that was once known as torin. Was it the spirits begging for it? Was it Torin? She felt her anger spike, her core bustling and burning brighter. The thrashing that followed suit was that of a child, like a child. A lost child that needed someone. They wanted release, they wanted to be deleted. That was the spirits, it had to be. Torin wouldn't of wanted that, he would of wanted to serve his master, would of wanted to see this to the end even if it wasn't the end that he wanted. "I will release you from your hate. I will let you sleep my children. But the sleipmon? He deserves to see this to the end. Even if it's just as an observer. Let him go."The ultima burst surged forward and K's eyes narrowed slowly and she'd pull at her core's data again, her body hardening and the scales tinging a deep chrome color. The words were not lost into the void of the energy, merely they cut through it like a knife. As the energy slammed into her she felt the defenses wither a little bit and she'd snort, her pose staying largely the same. The energy would dissapate after a moment and in front of the UltimateChaosmon was a chrome clad Dragon, glimmering in it's final ecstatic beauty. "ME-34. Chrome digizoid Armor."And with that she brought her hand down in a sweeping gesture, bellowing out the name of the force that she was capable of unleashing. Time and time again this attack had served her well, pushing forward her will onto the battlefield. Even if the ultimatechaosmon didn't look up, it would feel the signal of the attack rushing downwards, ready to slam into the creature. "Overclock. Dawn of the Third Day."She took a moment to level herself out after drawing down the attack at the UltimateChaosmon, even if this realm was strange it still had laws. One of which being gravity. Even if this damn place was a mess at least she could rely on the forces of nature here just a wee bit. Log-K uses ME34: Chrome Digizoid Armor to help her tank Ultima Burst. -K requests the Spirits to let torin see the end of this battle after she has released them from their 'prison'. -K uses Overclock. -K uses Dawn of the third day. Passives: Scale-Skin: This digimon receives less damage from all attacks but is slower as a result.
Flight: This digimon even as large as they are is capable of flight with their wings.
[RAM UPGRADE GIGA]: Crimson Mantle: Jesmon's signature cape; adjusted for size for each Digivolution. Moves used: Overclock [For Glory Reward]: This move doesn't use an attack action for the post. Examon gains a massive damage bonus (300%) for one post. Once per thread.
Dawn of the Third Day: This attack allows the digimon to drop a single fifty foot in size meteor on a location dealing an immense amount of damage to any caught in it. It cannot be used in the human world or in underground locations. This attack is a once per thread move. Cooldowns: Odin's Judgement [4/4] Valhalla's Regeneration: [1/3] Gate of Destiny: N/A Overclock: N/A Dawn of the third Day: N/A Durations: Gate of Destiny: [2/3] Card: [2/7] ME-34 Card Name: Chrome Digizoid Armor Type: Modify Rank: Chrome Digizoid Duration: 3 Posts Effect: The target Digimon gains an an armor made from solid Chrome Digizoid for three turns. Resistant to both physical and elemental strikes, it is a deadly efficient defense.

Nothing was going right for Cherubimon. His weapon was whisked away to another dimension, he was vastly outnumbered against a team that was far more coordinated that he possibly could have anticipated, and now the spirit he was delighting in torturing has reached a level of power that frightened him. "From where do the likes of you draw your strength?! Who has had to suffer beneath your heel to elevate you to this level? You claim to be a just being, but you fought and killed to get where you are today! Do not presume to be above me!"
"I fought for the sake of those who were endangered by those exactly like you. Who responds to strife in the world through subjugating those they deem weak or fit to control. Your schemes are not unlike an old enemy...one I never got to meet, but one I despise all the same. You've lost your connection to other people. The importance of others...you use them as tools and pawns instead of value them. It wasn't by my power that I was rescued."
Cherubimon growled "You can't expect me to believe it's something as simple and juvenile as the power of your friends that gives you such strength. If you can't stand on your own two feet on your own, then you're simply a parasite waiting to be removed. That is the natural order of things."
Toki sighed heavily "Oh how I've heard that speech before. Survival of the fittest, the weak shall serve the strong. Ironic that it's that very mindset that makes you the weakest out of us all."
Before he could retort, Cherubimon was suddenly assailed by the others. A stronger lightning coursed through his body from the enraged Renamon. It wouldn't relent. It hung in the air, casting an ominous shadow. The fear was mounting. This was fury and anger...but it was focused. Concentrated despite her furious shouts.
It wasn't the end. In a panic, Cherubimon flew around, avoiding stray bolts and the initial burst of Knowledge Stream. However, he couldn't avoid it forever with everything coming towards him and was launched upwards by Mae's attack.
This, however, would be a bad idea for him. He rose up and Toki grabbed his head in his right hand, left hand pressed against Cherubimon's torso. His hands glowed with a radiant blue energy, and the glow of the gems above his head faded...and the glow around his hands intensified to a blinding shine "Souryuha." A burst of arcane energy shout forth from his hands at point blank range.
The blast launched Cherubimon far into the distance, the energy burning and steaming off his body. He howled in anger and pain. "You...you think you're going to win? Even if I die, you've lost. The only reason you're still here is because that spirit of yours had to go and sacrifice itself! Without his guidance, you're just another...worthless...human!"
The air crackled, the energy around Cherubimon becoming far too harsh to approach. Bolts of lightning started to manifest around him. By the dozen...by the hundreds, then by the thousands, and they were still charging up. Approaching Cherubimon would be useless at this point. This was a desperation move, and precautions had to be taken before the entire party was skewered.
Within the Gate of Destiny, the overclocked meteor was a beacon of freedom to Chaosmon. The meteor crashed into its body at full force, the impact and sheer energy of the attack causing the beast's body to break down, cores going dim as cracks appeared along its body. "Thank....y-" Then, the beast shattered, data swirling , the remaining energy and the atmosphere eating away at the corrupted data, leaving the pure data safe for the time being. An unconscious Sleipmon floated in the void. K's battle was over. The data floated near K, as if expecting salvation of some sort from this plane of existence.
----------
Toki critically damaged Cherubimon with a full charged Souryuha. Using five charged gems, the damage was increased by 50%.
Cherubimon is charging a devastating attack and the energy given off by the charge, it's impossible to approach.
Ultimate Chaosmon has been destroyed. The data seems to follow K, waiting for her to open the way out.
Toki's Actions/Cooldowns
Souryuha has been empowered by 5 of Toki's charged gems, reducing his charge to 0/5.
Souryūha [Plot]: Tsusagimon centers himself and draws forth the power of Ebonwumon to his palms, before directing them towards a single target, sending forth a near-transparent beam of azure energy from both hands. This technique entirely ignores those viewed as allies, piercing straight through them as if they didn't exist, to strike powerfully at a target. Deals high arcane damage. (3 Turn Cooldown)
Meditation Surge 2/2, Karmic Resonance 2/2, Crystal Garden 1/3, Souryuha 0/3.

Cherubimon is charging Ten Thousand Spears.

"Oh, don't pretend you have a fucking high horse because you're losing, pal!" Wrought by the Digital Hazard, whatever filter the Renamon had was completely gone. Her spell cast, she dived right into the Cherubimon's words, outright berating him for thinking it was wrong that Toki gained strength through fighting. "At least he earned his keep! You're just some fuck-off trying to revel in the pride of other spirits' power and accomplishments. In your next life, maybe make something of yourself rather than try and live in the power of your ancestors!"
"That's completely right, Angel." Denryu kept his voice down, nodding as the fox's enraged visage traced the Cherubimon's path. That lightning wracked right through his body, and he continued to face the ongoing assault of three super megas. Mae's Knowledge Stream pierced him next, and the righteous power of the 'Souryuha' sent him far off into the distance. It seemed that they were approaching the pinnacle of the fight - and the angel was finally putting everything on the line.
The effort even made Angel give pause, though. Just what was that blast? Fuck, there was nothing to be done about it: with Digital Hazard online, it wasn't as if they could bring up the shield or access their cards to try and snipe him out of the sky, and switching to 'Titan' would take too much time. The Devil's Lightning did crackle again, sending another empowered bolt towards the angel's back, but the Renamon wasn't confident in that lightning being able to pierce through her own.
Instead, the Renamon positioned herself next to the Dukemon, ready to brace herself behind the other mega's shield. She tensed her right hand, preparing a powerful attack of her own.
"If you see an opening, feel free to fling me right at that fucker's face. I'm ready."
Unfortunately, Angel cannot easily approach the target as a close-range fighter. She instead braces herself next to a shield wielder, and waits for an opening for a better angle.
Devil's Lightning triggers.

"Of course you can't comprehend the truth. You're so firmly rooted in megalomania that anything else, anything SENSIBLE is alien to you. What a shame you'll fall rooted in such ignorance." Mae growled. The time to settle everything had been steadily approaching. Everything that happened to Toki's spirit, to Toki himself, to everyone in this entire ordeal. Mae had been about to give chase to the beast when a vision suddenly played before her eyes. A hail of spears. Everybody being pierced through like pincushions. She needed to prevent this, she needed to make sure this did not happen no matter what it took. In short? She needed a miracle. Just like back at the forest. Mae began to focus every bit of power she could put forth into her palm as strands of energy and data alike began to rise from the battlefield, remnants of every attack that had been thrown around by each combatant. As the angel took off into the sky, a sphere formed in her palm, one that was colored quite...luminously. It was swirly with the colors of each attack that fueled it. Red, white, blue, to name a few. Then, the ophanim cast the sphere out, and towards Cherubimon. Whether it struck him directly or not, it would detonate near him in an explosion best described as massive enough to encompass both Cherubimon and his litany of spears! "Sovereign! Yggdrasil! Anyone! Hear my call and bring forth a miracle! Sefer Raziel!"
There was a nagging uncertainty, though. A question that tore it's way through Mae's mind as she hurled the sphere before being battered back by the sheer energy building up near the Cherubimon.
Would this be enough?
Relevant Passives: Fatebreaker [RAM Upgrade Giga]: This entity has the same mysterious foresight that a Rasielmon would possess. Mae uses Sefer Raziel. Given how long the battle has been raging on, it's safe to assume it's a fully powered one, and further empowered by Oversoul's final turn. Her intent with this is to either deter Cherubimon from releasing his attack, or destroy the spears with the ensuing explosion. Either way, it does look kinda pretty. Sefer Raziel: Imagine what powers have to be at work to create a miracle, a true and proper miracle. Now imagine a single entity taking figurative hold of those powers and using them to invoke one. Rasielmon gathers power from within, and all around her to create a sphere within her hands that is best described as a miracle given form, before she lets it loose. She draws power from every named ability, her own included, utilized within the battle to give this sphere both form and magnitude. As such, this technique’s power increases with every named move used within the past four turns, up to a maximum of a 75% increase in power. Of course, a miracle has a steep price. Rasielmon is only able to do this once per thread. Durations: Oversoul: 3/3 - Ends this turn. Cooldowns: Oversoul: Waiting... Spatial Claw: 1/2 Fatebreaker: 3/3 Knowledge Stream: 1/3 Sefer Raziel: Miracle fired.
