Holly could feel that blade in her body; it was painful and it was making it very difficult to breath properly. She could feel it fighting against her energy regeneration and with that twist? She felt it break off. Her regeneration struggling and pushing against it fiercely. Sure he was able to mitigate the damage from her lightning charged bite but honestly what good would that do where they were? He took that damage like a champ; or rather like a super mega would. Sure it’d sting and he’d smolder a bit from the sheer intensity of it all but… Push come to shove it wouldn’t be enough to equal the playing field. If anything this sword was really hindering her and the seraphimon was probably going to win if holly didn’t start to do better or think about all of this nonsense. With jade’s plea falling on deaf ears all that the orb could do was hover close to it’s charge. There was little it could do with the seraphimon as it struggled against her. Holly saw all the motions he’d make and her eyes widened. She couldn’t dodge this. She didn’t have any other attack she could use properly. Nothing that would leave the area without severe damage. Nothing that would break the stalemate. The baihumon’s eyes widened and she’d feel the seraphimon’s attack punch through her chest. It’d exchange places with the sword that he twisted and left in there, blasting out out of her back and making the baihumon cough up a gout of data against his smoldering armor. She felt her regeneration struggle and fail. She felt her aura wobble and she felt the world going bleak for a moment. This was the most hurt that she ever had felt. Or at least the most physical pain to her. To the seraphimon her jaws would lock against his armor and the baihumon shuddered. He had left quite a size-able hole in her chest. Letting him see the inside of the baihumon’s body and the damage he had caused was no doubt great… But.There was a small spark in her eyes that refused to give up; refused to give in and a deep throaty growl rolled through her lips. The baihumon’s tail stiffened and twisted as she fed her own body it’s own energy. A great deal of energy that the seraphimon would feel. And like that? The wound on her chest would quickly close up, the data against his armor would seep back into the baihumon and the light in her eyes would flare up. The tiger itself seeming to be back in it and back to life. Her jaw clamping down even harder against the limb; trying to bite and crunch it into a useless husk of what it once was. ”Don’t get so full of yourself you pious prick.” Log: -Holly has the sword embedded in her chest! Ow. -Holly can’t really avoid the strike of the seven stars and takes a bunch of damage through her chest! -Holly used Weaver to restore herself to full health! Passives: |RAM UPGRADE GIGA| Jade orbs: A set of seven somewhat small orbs that change in size based on the host digimon's own size. They're made primarily out of jade but have several veins of other materials. It's far harder than any normal jade could hope to be and is about as durable if not more than it's host. Inside of the orbs lays a collective AI that is capable of learning and reasoning much like it's owner does. It is named after it's own coloration and it's voice is decidedly feminine. Outside of battle it simply gathers and catalogs information for it's owner's benefit while inside of battle it's devious ability is brought to light.
The jade orbs possess different formations. Three to be specific. Defensive, offensive and supportive. Each formation gives a small boost to the respective grouping. But only ever at 10%. Only one formation can be active at a time and there is a three post cool-down to switching between formations. Defensive provides a damage reduction, offensive increases damage output and supportive increases healing done.
Iron Lord|Combat Passive: If it is one thing, Baihumon is durable. It's fur being beyond that of natural limits is made purely out of a digizoid fiber of sorts. It's strong to the point of having a heavy resistance[30%] to all forms of damage. At the cost of moving much[30%] slower. Water attacks weaken the fur considerably and disable this passive for three posts upon successful contact.
Charged-Air|Combat Passive: This digimon is putting off a constant barrage of electrical currents into the air. Arcing off of it's fur, the orbs and metal that it's body may possess. This hyper charges the local area that the mon is in. Creating a field of sustained damage to those that come too close. Friendly individuals find that this field deals no damage to them. Deals light damage to any without electrical resistance. If struck by a water attack this negates the passive for three posts. Hundred foot range. Move: Weaver: This move is allows it to heal a single digimon completely once per thread. If used outside of combat it cannot be used inside of combat in the same thread, however outside of combat this ability does not have a cooldown. Cooldowns: HNC: 3/3 Thunderfang: 2/3 14 Orbs: 1/3

Toki breathed a sigh of relief as the Saberleomon was pacified and took off into the forest. From the looks of it, the mark was completely vaporized, so that proved that they could be destroyed without killing the Digimon. That alone was a great discovery. He remembered that some of the marks were burned off affected Digimon a long time ago, so that knowledge came in handy today. However, now that Saberleomon was taken care of, there was someone else to deal with.
He took a quick look around, this form able to sense the presence of those corrupted by the mark. As soon as he found the signature, he quickly turned in its direction, and in a light step, started to glide along the floor as he raced along silently. He gripped both hands around his hammer as it lowered slightly from a sudden surge of gravity increasing its weight. He knew how to get Seraphimon away from Rosewood, and if a few trees had to be taken out, then so be it.
As he weaved through the trees, he eventually saw Seraphimon pinned down by Holly. The aura around his hammer only grew in intensity as he called out "Holly, throw him!" Before he began to heavily swing his hammer at Seraphimon's side, preferably where his wounded part was "Moon Fall!" Should this charged attack make contact, Seraphimon would find themselves being launched away from Rosewood at frightening velocity.
Toki twirled his hammer and pursued if this worked "Quick, we need to pursue before he can get close to Rosewood again." He was ready for whatever outcome. Either he would stand his ground, shielding Rosewood before attempting to push him away again, or pursue with great speed. Seraphimon had to be stopped "The marks can be destroyed with a concentrated blow." He said to Holly. "Find it, and aim for it."
----
Toki rushed towards Holly and Seraphimon's position and attempts to use Moon Fall to launch them far away from Rosewood.
Moon Fall: Tsusagimon increases the gravity around his hammer to massively increase its weight, though he's still able to carry it without issue. He leaps towards an opponent and slams the hammer into them, knocking them away from the sheer impact of the blow. If the opponent happens to hit anything along the way, it will likely create an enormous crater. [2 turn Cooldown]
Cooldowns: Spiral Form - Shatter 4/4, Seismic Boost 1/3, Vermilion Vortex 2/3, Samsara (2 posts remaining), Moon Fall 0/2.

Post by Kenny O'Hara and Skadi on May 27, 2020 3:05:47 GMT
It was of Skadi's nature to help stand up for the little guys. The Markhormon's gruff but warm smile refused to fade as she looked upon the two Bearmon as they returned the favour, and as they ran into the portal, she would give them one last pat on the back to send them off, "You stay safe now. We'll be back soon."
But the Togemon did have a point; the wall itself was practically impenetrable by even by the most powerful Perfect-level attacks. The spikes didn't enjoy that same luxury.Skadi would simply give a nod to the Togemon and set off at once to the fight, the loud roars and intimidating battle cries making it a lot easier to at least track where the fight was being held. She drew her greatsword once more, just in case.
Halfway as promised, true to the Togemon's words, once she reached the area, she would bear witness to a fleeing SaberLeomon running away from an all-too familiar rabbit Digimon, along with an incensed and angered Baihumon fighting... Seraphimon? Of all people? Among the carnage of the battle itself, Skadi squinted her eyes, focusing on the Seraphimon. But already, she could feel something was not right about this. He was supposed to be their ally. He was supposed to help them. He...
...had the mark upon his back.
"Damn." She quietly swore to herself. How could they fail to spot this at the first chance? It looked like nothing was wrong with him when they first met him. Was he brainwashed? Marked while someone wasn't looking? Who knew at this point? Why-
No. I have to focus on defending the town. And with that, she gave the ground one clean stomp. No taking risks. No taking any chances should Toki's strategy fail to work. Nothing. Instead, a 50 meter wide rock wall, the spikes lining the front and all, would emerge from the earth, protecting not only herself, but the rest of Rosewood as a whole. And all the while, she held the sword close to her.
If she had to join the fight to save Rosewood, then she wouldn't hesitate.
Well, no surprises there. The two would quickly turn to the sound of Gato's cry underneath the rubble, unaware or what just so happened to be going on outside. Neither boy nor bird bothered to interrupt the other two, especially when the Gazimon promised to free her from the inside. Time was of the essence here, and if any of them here lingered any longer, things would get horribly messy.
Thankfully for the group here, Odin never left home without his trusty firecrackers; they had helped save the day countless times in the past, and right now looked to be no exception. "Alright then." He waved the two back away from the rubble covered door, before pulling out, and flicking a small flame, onto one of the firecrackers, "You guys better stand back and cover your ears, this could get a little messy."
Once everybody had stood clear of the blast zone, and Kenny covering his ears and eyes as he braced for impact, for good measure, Odin would give one good lob of the firecracker at the rubble-covered door. The moment it landed upon the rocks, a loud explosion would rock the area, coating the rocks in a wave of pyrotechnics that would hopefully turn all of them into nothing but pebbles by the time it died down
Whatever the result, a veil of black smoke would rise up afterwards, which would be quickly dissipated by a wave of the Peckmon's wings, clearing it away for all to see. Kenny would follow suit, unplugging his ears and opening his eyes as he looked upon the aftereffects of the blast. Had the rubble actually been cleared when the bomb hit it, and was Gato still alive and well, to boot?
Well, both of them certainly hoped so.
Skadi summons a Stonewall Barricade to defend the rest of Rosewood from any stray attacks, friend and foe alike.
Stonewall Barricade (RAM Upgrade): Skadi stomps the ground, sending up a surrounding circular wall full of giant spires with spikes lined on the front to protect her and up to 2 allies near her (within a 50 meter radius) for a post. This can withstand up to 3 Ultimate attacks (that's around 6 Champion level attacks) before breaking, while Rookie and below do no damage and 1 Mega attack is enough break the wall, but have their damage slashed in half. Anyone making physical contact with the wall suffers 20% damage of what their attack would’ve inflicted. (3 post cooldown)
Odin tosses a single Firecracker Bomb at the rubble trapping Gato inside in a bid to blow it up, hopefully freeing Gato in the process.
Firecracker Bomb: Odin pulls out up to 5 firecrackers from his bag, and tosses it at the enemy. Does fire damage, with an AoE of each firecracker ranging up to 5 meters each for a total of 25 meters. When a firecracker explodes, it releases a black smokescreen that obscures the opponent's vision. This attack is great for blinding opponents and for doing heavy damage. (3 post cooldown)
Cooldowns: Skadi: Stonewall Barricade: 0/3
Odin: Firecracker Bomb: 0/3

It seems that the little blackmail he made to Dracmon worked. While it was something he would never usually do, it was something Kitt had no choice in doing since Dracmon was heavily reluctant on getting to safety. His eyes lowered into a frown when the imp threatened to get back at him if he ever got caught. Instead of trying to intimidate him back, the young GrapLeomon gave a wry smirk.
"Fine by me." Kitt replied. "Now hurry up and get to one of the portals." He watched as Dracmon departed. He tossed his head up and gave a sigh of relief. Maybe being a little demanding had its perks after all, or maybe it was due to being a bit more aggressive in this new form. Whatever the case, it was done, and now it was time to regroup with Skadi.
With the turbines on his legs rotating in adrenaline, he took off in a full sprint. Running into a semi-clear field, he saw the battle: Toki and a furious Baihumon--whom he could assume was Holly--fighting against...Seraphimon? All of them were allies, so why were they fighting each other? Unless...
Kitt gritted his teeth. The nasty signal he felt when Doku demonstrated the tags, it was all a clear sign that the angel was marked. 'When did this happened,' he thought to himself. 'Did he get tagged when he went away? Or was he always tagged and was just waiting for the right moment?'
His trail of thought would come to a sudden halt when he felt the earth rumble beneath him. A huge rock wall, dorned with spikes would begin to slowly rise up from the ground. Using his turbines, Kitt would propel himself up, jumping on each spikes one by one, avoiding the sharp ends, as he ascending upward. Once he got near to the top, Kitt preform a somersault flip, jumping over the edge and landing on the ground.
It was the first time in this form, yet it was like his body had a mind of its own and he was a passenger in that moment.
Spotting Skadi, Kitt rushed to her. "Madam Skadi, you helped the citizen on your end," he asked. He then turned his head to look at the massive wall, hearing the chaos happening outside. He clenched his fist, growling in frustration. "We gotta join the others if things get too much for them. But...I wish there was a way for us to help them right now, give them the upper-hand. I can't stand not being able to do nothing."

More than anything else, the safety of the city had to be secured! As Skadi put up that wall, a barricade that would hopefully take the brunt of any force that might have made its way to the city, Doku caught wind of their intent, and swiftly moved away from the fight and out of sight of the Seraphimon.
If the angel was already anticipating his bindings, he likely wasn't going to be able to sneak another trick in. That said, he could do something with the wall itself! Once he was behind cover, Doku would once more extend his roots into the ground. Moments later, a durable, thickened ivy began to grow right up along the sides. "Tch..." Doku grit his teeth, fortifying the makeshift defense on this side. It didn't take long for Kitt to group up with the rest of them.
The plant Digimon looked over at the GrapLeomon, and returned a sigh. "My ability to assist is limited to what I can dig up from the earth. You can try if you want, but at this point, you might only end up getting in the way of your allies attacks. Super Mega's not something one can take lightly at all..."
That said, was there anything they could do? "Though it is true - if we stop the Seraphimon, we can end this in one shot. Besting him directly might be impossible from ultimate, but if we change the question to 'how do we destroy the mark', maybe it becomes doable..."
Doable, but perhaps still risky! Well, doable if the fight managed to maintain itself in the same zip code!
Holly might have been able to heal. In fact, that healing energy would rapidly course through her body, but it wasn't as if the situation had completely reversed itself. In fact, it was quite the opposite: forced to spend time healing, that left Holly wide open for further punishment from the Seraphimon. Insult him as much as she wanted, the angel didn't hesitate to respond in kind.
His right hand erupted in holy light, energy surrounding his fist much like an Angemon's 'Hand of Fate'. And with little hesitation, he'd swing it up - right back to that recently-wounded point. Fully healed?
Time to test that.
"HALLOWED KNUCKLE!" With a grandiose declaration, he'd try and connect that right hook with the tiger's chest, and should it hit - or even should it miss - a direct, straight, golden beam of holy energy would rocket out, a burning and continued steam that might even force Holly to let go of that grapple. In either case, Toki's hammer, hitting largely from a blind spot, would connect solidly with the angel's side.
He'd be propelled upwards, over the woods, but a quick unfurl and spread of his wings would slow and eventually halt the momentum, the Seraphimon's faceless mask now focused on the ZenCherubimon. His left arm hung limp from the shoulder, as the holy angel overlooked Toki, Holly, and the city itself.
"Such impudence. Do you think you two mere mimics of the Sovereign can stand up to something the real one fears?"
"..." Doku sighed. "He's gotta be quite out of it to be singing the praises of a dead 'mon like that. It'd be sad if he didn't have the ability to torch us from up there." A 'little' messy might have been an exaggeration, but seeing the explosive, Gazi decided to back off, rather than get burned by the bomb. "Again, stay clear, Gato!"
That warning echoed, and with everyone in relative cover, it didn't take long for that explosion to light up, and - BOOM! Debris skipped over the path, some loose foliage caught fire near the back, and it looked like if anyone was caught up in it, it would have been bad. But as the smoke cleared, the group there would be graced by the sight of the cellar door. Cracked and half-caved in, it looked like they had access to it. Gazi would step forward to open the door...
... Only for it to open from inside, the door itself smacking him right in the nose! "Gah!"
"Jeez..." The Champion-level Gatomon managed to pull herself up, a sketch-book held under her left arm, as she stepped out and snuffed out a small fire with her foot. The Gazimon, rubbing his nose, gave a growl. "You took that thing with you?"
"Of course I did." She was too exasperated to argue the point further, the Gatomon looking over to the Peckmon, and what was probably the Peckmon's tamer... and that glowing light of an angel, starting to pour over the sky.
"... Right. How about we take our chance to split, then?"

Toki swiftly flew up to pursue Seraphimon and face him directly. He held his hammer straight up at his side and stared him down. "We're simply who we are. Nothing more, nothing less. The forms we take are not in some vain attempt to copy another's power. It is our own, and it is more than enough to put a stop to your plan. I do not know how this has happened to you, but I will free you from this control one way..." He said as a series of shimmering crystals appeared behind him in a power not yet seen by anyone. Starlight weaved and spun between the crystals, forming shining wings. "...or another."
The crystals shined brightly, reflecting the Digital World's moon, adding its lunar splendor to their sheen. "Moonlight...Aurora." In an instant those crystals would begin to fire radiant beams of multi-colored light towards Seraphimon. The sheer number and the speed of which they adjusted and converged their aim was staggering. This would hopefully keep him busy for a time, though they had to find some way to destroy that mark, or in the worst case scenario, destroy him.
If Seraphimon hoped to lead these beams towards allies or structures, then he would be disappointed. They would harmlessly phase through anything that Toki did not deem a threat, making collateral damage a non-issue for this particular Super Mega level Digimon. "The panic you sow will amount to nothing. The people will still hope. The people will bounce back and recover. I promised the Sovereign they could rest easy, and I intend to make good on that promise."
Another potential affect of such a grandiose ability might be to bring the attention of this fight to those nearby. Whether this was a good or bad outcome couldn't be said as of now, but Toki was determined to make Seraphimon understand that they were a match for him. Tsusagimon, the ancient spirit, was fighting once more, and Toki would not dishonor his name and memory. This battle was proving to Toki that his bond meant something, not just to himself, but potentially to the world as well as to human and Digimon partnerships.
----
Toki uses the ability Moonlight Aurora
Origin of Suffering [Passive]: For each attack that Tsusagimon uses, one of the gems above his head will begin to shine to a maximum of five. He may choose to activate any number of them to increase the strength of an ability by 10% per gem to a max of 50% for five charged gems. The number of gems used will have to be charged again. (2/5 charges)
Eightfold Path [Passive]: The innocent and virtuous deserve a guardian to watch over them. All of Tsusaimon’s damaging Area of Effect abilities do not harm allies.
Moonlight Aurora: Shining blue crystals appear behind Tsusagimon and connect to each other in an array of starlight, weaving an intricate pattern akin to shimmering wings behind him. The crystals then build up energy and fire multiple, multi-colored beams of brilliant energy in a wide area in front of him. [3 Turn Cooldown]
Cooldowns: Seismic Boost 2/3, Vermilion Vortex 3/3, Samsara (1 posts remaining), Moon Fall 1/2, Moonlight Aurora 0/3.

What could she really do given this situation? The only other option that she had was to de-digivolve and let the others handle it. Which didn’t sit right with her in the slightest. Sure she was forced to spend time healing and she didn’t have the reaction speed to deal with his next attack. It’d land soundly on her chest and well; the attack would do much more than just make her let go. It would fling her away from the seraphimon. Just in time for toki’s hammer to hit the seraphimon’s side and send him flying away from the town. Which was a good thing. While holly righted herself just before crashing down on the ground. She’d grit her teeth and turn her head. Hearing the angel berate them; calling them mimics the baihumon just shook her head. The sovereign likely feared the machinations of the wisemon; not the angel. Holly didn’t bother answering the seraphimon; instead she took this opportunity to shift to a different form she felt was more suited for this fight. Especially now that she had allies around. Her initial choice was that of rage and she had paid dearly for it. The large tiger quickly contorted and the light engulfed it’s body as it twisted in on itself. It didn’t take very long for her form to change to that of Clarimon_Major. Unlike many super megas it was fairly diminutive; much like how her mother’s powerful form was. The simple glowing female form floated in place; the several sets of wings shifting and flapping to keep herself aloft. She glanced to toki who had taken another form she didn’t recognize and… Well this one let out a spectacular attack that gave her transformation a great deal of cover. The seraphimon would be hard pressed to attack her with that going on. She had a few ideas of what to do in this situation. But it also required her to break off from the melee; a melee that she felt was probably going to get a bit busy what with skadi and kitt showing up… Holly put a hand to her chest where she could feel some kind of ache. The multiple attacks from the seraphimon had taken it’s toll on her. She wouldn’t be walking this off anytime soon and… well she definitely would be feeling it in the morning.
-Holly gets smacked by Hallowed Knuckle -She goes flying -Holly uses toki’s attack to cover her digivolution to Clarimon_Major Passives: |RAM UPGRADE GIGA| Jade orbs: A set of seven somewhat small orbs that change in size based on the host digimon's own size. Outside of battle it simply gathers and catalogs information for it's owner's benefit while inside of battle it's devious ability is brought to light.
Visage of the faceless one|Passive: This digimon is not affected by moves that would normally affect the senses or mind. In that effect she cannot be buffed in any sort of way even by her own power.
Guardian Oath|Passive: This digimon naturally excludes an aura that gives allies around her a large damage reduction. Fifty foot radius, maximum of three targets. For each individual that is within this buff range her own defense suffers by 10%. One willing target will receive a 30% damage reduction boost, Two willing targets will receive a 20% damage reduction boost, and Finally Three willing targets will receive a 10% damage reduction boost.

Could this wall hold up forever? From the look of things, Toki and Holly had done quite a great job keeping Seraphimon distracted, directing their focus upon them and not the town. But fears of the wall crumbling under the pressure should it end up caught up within the crossfire still loomed over the Markhormon's head. For now, she stood her ground, just hoping that her team would stay safe.
Turning to the sound of whirling turbines, growing louder by the second, a small, but very impressed, smile would line Skadi's face. Kitt was safe! And looking as fine as ever as he effortlessly scaled the stone wall without breaking a sweat. She was quick to answer Kitt's concerns with a grin, "I did. But honestly, I'm just glad you're safe as well, buddy. You're doing a great job so far. Keep it up!" The Markhormon slapped his back affectionately once more.
Before she could reassure Kitt once more, her eyes glanced towards the vines creeping up the barrier and holding it tight. That could only mean one thing; Doku was also still alive and well. And he had made quite a good point. What if they did get caught up within their allies crossfire by mistake? They needed all the help they could get, but compared to the two God-like entities, Skadi and Kitt were small fry.
For a brief moment, as she looked upon the battle, she just pondered. She couldn't fly, not without the help of her tamer, and as far as she knew, unlike Kitt, she couldn't bound high. Her form was best fighting grounded enemies, but she did have a couple of good anti-air moves that could help knock them out of the sky...
Wait...
Knock... Seraphimon... down...
With a snap of her fingers, Skadi's grin just grew wider as she turned back to the other two, "I got it! While Toki and Holly have Seraphimon distracted, I'll try to pin him to the ground with my Glacial Crash attack. Kitt," She pointed a finger at the GrapLeomon, "when I give the signal, that when the glacier pins Seraphimon to the floor, you rush in and try to tear off the mark while he's down. Doku, you keep the wall up for as long as you can. You got it?"
One simple tap of Geisterseele later, and Skadi would completely vanish from sight from the other two, before setting off, grabbing onto the vines and scaling the stone wall as fast as she could. Once she landed onto the floor, she quietly snuck her way to the house closest to the battle, and hid behind it, peering out just a little - only to see a stream of crystals emerge behind Toki as he made his grand speech towards the angel, before firing off a set of powerful beams of light, all hurtling towards his adversary.
All the while, Skadi's palm glowed a light blue, as a giant glacier started to emerge from the heavens, and over Seraphimon's head, just as the beams died down.
"Down he goes." Skadi quietly whispered to herself as she threw her palm down, as her form fully re-emerged while ducking back behind. At the same time, the glacier would go into free fall, threatening to smash into, and pin Seraphimon, into the earth below. With any luck, this would give either Kitt, Toki or Holly more than enough time to remove and or destroy the mark as necessary.
It was a crazy gamble at this point, hell, it might not even have worked. But she didn't care. She had to help as much as she could, and she would.
"Jesus Christ, that was nasty." Kenny muttered to no-one in particular as he dusted himself off, looking at the aftereffects of the explosion in front of him, then to Odin, "How do you keep doing that without blowing yourself up?"
"I'm a professional." The Peckmon replied, also dusting himself off as well, "It takes a lot of practice to use these things without blowing yourself or your friends up by mistake. One wrong move, and you're good as dead. That's why I always tell the kids not to try this at home." A small snort emerged from the Peckmon's beak, as he and Kenny looked upon the bickering duo, the tamer a little concerningly.
But Gato was right; as the light started to coat the room, and the occupants inside, Odin leaned down for all of them to climb upon, "Alright! Get on, you three! And hang on tight! I'll take you guys to safety as soon as possible." Kenny was first to climb, sitting at the front. Once the other two had followed suit, he would set off once more, right back towards the makeshift stadium, and the portals, running as fast as he could, and hoping to avoid being caught within the crossfire.
As he ran, Kenny caught a glimpse of an array of crystals floating in the air, before firing off a beam of light above from an odd-looking, yet oddly familiar, figure.
Skadi uses Glacial Crash in order to try and pin Seraphimon to the ground, aiming to give the other 3 enough time to either rip off or destroy the mark in the nick of time.
Glacial Crash: Markhormon summons a giant icicle, slightly larger than the opponent, from out of the sky, to crush the opponent with absolute ease. This attack bypasses shields, defensive buffs, and passives to deal the maximum damage possible to Digimon of equal or lower level to them. Digimon of the Mega level will instead incur 50% of the damage. (3 post cooldown)
Passives: Mountaineer (Passive): Markhormon possesses a tough and well-rugged body that has survived even the harshest of winters. This in turn reduces damage from all Ice attacks by 50% and physical attacks by 30%. However, she takes 50% more damage from fire attacks.
Toxic Immunity (Passive): Markhormon’s immune system naturally prevents Skadi from suffering poison/corrosion from any attacks/passives, or suffering any ill effects from them (damage, paralysis etc). Likewise, her foamy saliva, if swallowed, or in some cases, rubbed into an affected area of a poison victim, will automatically heal the Digimon of any poison/corrosion effects they may suffer… if they’re willing to use it at all, obviously. If used on an ally, then they have up to 2 poison/corrosion effects lifted from them, and Skadi goes through a 3 turn cooldown period, where she will be no longer immune to effects from poison/corrosion until it finishes. If Skadi digivolves to this form while poisoned/corroding, then she will automatically be cured in the same post.
Cooldowns: Stonewall Barricade: Still active thanks to Doku's strong vines. Glacial Crash: 0/3

Kitt returned Skadi's affectionate compliment with a thumbs up. He was just glad that he managed to convince that Dracmon to get to safety. It was the first time he was assertive in a situation that didn't involve him getting angry. Because had he been angry in that situation, he would have thrown Dracmon into the portal - no questions asked. He had enough on his plate to worry about a petty dealer refusing help.
Doku made a good point. As they were right now, they would be no match for Seraphimon and would only just get in Toki and Holly's way. But still, they can't just sit here and do nothing. Doku implored that they needed to take the angel digimon down on one shot, whether it be knocking him unconscious, or ripping that mark right off of him
It seems that Skadi had the same idea as well, as she told Kitt that she planned to use one of her attacks to pin down Seraphimon. Kitt's eyes lit up when she pointed to him, telling him once her attack hits, he would go in and try to remove the tag. With a salute, Kitt gave her a firm look. "Yes, ma'am!"
As the Markhornmon vanished from sight, Kitt would set off as well, but not before saying this to Doku. "He may be more powerful than us, but power doesn't mean everything if he falls for a trap." With his turbines rotating once more, he scale the stone wall once again, which was now easier with all of the vines wrapped around. Landing on the floor, he stealthy make his way into a concentration of dense trees, straying not too far from where Skadi was, while also getting a clear view of the battle.
"Toki and Holly-san are so cool," he said to himself. "I hope I become as strong as them someday. but first..." Focusing his gaze on Seraphimon, the color of his eyes changed from the vibrate, golden orange, to a red color, with the KIZNA logo replacing his iris. Instead of attacking the angel head on, his plan is to weaken Seraphimon strength wise, before charging in. This way, all four of them can overwhelm him when he becomes vulnerable. "...lets see if this will work on him."
Combat Log:
Kitt uses the KIZNA ability Eyes of Wisdom to cut Seraphimon's strength by half.
Research and Exploration Division Ability:
Eye of Wisdom - Once per thread. Member of research and exploration division targets one opponent. Halven damage dealt by the target to all ally for three turns. As addition, additional effects and debuff from the target does not affect the user of this technique for that three turns.

If the four of them coordinated this well, there was a chance to take out the mark and stop the 'worst result' from happening with all of this. However, the Seraphimon was not going to make this easy: knocked into the air, the angel was now positioned in the air, and had a good sight-line with each opponent, as well as the city itself. Whereas the group had a duty to protect Rosewood, there was no guarantee that the Seraphimon was going to do the same.
That line of thought might have been why the Seraphimon wasn't expecting an all-out-assault from the Tsusagimon, however! The marked angel's mask was soon fixed on that display of light, a palm raised towards that problematic attack.
"Aegis!"
His form stood resolute, as a golden, ethereal shield erupted into view. As those arcs of light would strike towards him, they would sink a few inches into that barrier, and fade away into mere wisps of energy. It looked to be a powerful defense, befitting the name of the holy shield.
... But, it only covered the Seraphimon from one side, and as that icicle formed and fell above him, the angel found himself caught off guard. The 'sharp' part of the icicle failed to pierce through the helmet - in fact, it almost shattered on impact - but the sheer force of the ice was enough to force him back onto the ground. Almost the moment he landed, he felt something, like a vague stinging rattling around in his head, but the angel seemed to shake it off almost the moment it happened.
Right. Enough of this: standing right back up onto his feet, the Seraphimon tensed both of his hands into fists, and this time, his holy blade erupted from both of his cuffs. "I would have thought that the city wouldn't think to get involved in this..." The Seraphimon turned, and let out a 'warning shot': crossing both of his blades, he gave a slash, an X-shaped blade of energy barreling right towards the center of the barrier wall! Would three be a bit much for the Peckmon to handle?
Well, he'd better be able to manage! The Gazimon would climb on behind Kenny, the Gatomon hanging onto the Gazimon's shoulders. It wouldn't take long for them to try and make their way back to the portals.
And it seemed that the guards had done a decent job of keeping this place managed! It took a bit of shouting and corralling, but the city itself seemed to be more-or-less empty, save the Monzaemon occasionally dragging over the occasional straggler. And with the last two dropped off, the Leomon would give a nod towards the tamer, and look on towards that crazy-looking fight.
"Well? What are you two going to do from here?" The Leomon looked down to the Peckmon and the tamer. At this point, it might have made sense to make some distance from the town - but that wouldn't really be an option for Kenny, would it?
Raidlock: Facing multiple opponents, Seraphimon is now using two techniques per round. Aegis Cooldown: 0/3 Hallowed Knuckle Cooldown: 1/3 Strike of the Seven Stars' Cooldown: 2/3 'Holy Vanguard' Duration: 1/3 Seraphimon resists Eye of Wisdom. Its effectiveness is reduced to 1/4th, due to being two levels beyond Kitt's current level.

Honestly? Holly was glad to see the seraphimon back on the ground, but this created the issue of their backs being to the city that any attacks the seraphimon would launch would be problematically aimed right at what they were trying to protect. She’d grit her metaphorical teeth and shifted her stance slightly. ”Offensive Formation jade.””Roger.”Jade shifted her orbs to be more in line with the wings that were slowly shifting this way or that. Ending up near the tips of each. Holly had a few abilities she could use here and with the seraphimon being where he was… Well. She had the chance to stop him in his tracks for a short time. So she’d do that. Without a doubt in her mind. Gripping her fists tightly the clarimon_major gestured at the sky. At first nothing happened; not until she made a yanking motion from it. Like she was tugging something with great weight from out of sight. It was almost laughable really. Until what happened next defied all sense of logic. An absolutely blinding pillar of light came from the sky; directly aimed at the seraphimon in such a manner that would slam him into the ground. Given his stance? He’d likely be face down if it did. At least she hoped that was the case. It was hard to guess what the mon would do if struck by such an attack. She doubted he was looking at her, or what she was doing. Given that she hadn’t been much of a challenge to him so far. But sovereigns did she hope that this did the trick to keep him in place! Log: -Jade switches from healing formation to offensive formation, increasing damage done by 10%! -Allies within range of holly’s aura have their defense increased! -Holly uses Endless Expanse to try to slam the seraphimon onto his front from above!
Move: Endless Expanse: This digimon calls down a beam of light from the sky attempting to smash into a target and drag it's form down to the ground. This beam is massive in size, carrying the weight of much more than just simple light particles. If the beam strikes a target, it carries it down to the ground and pins them there restricting movement for a post. Deals medium damage. Three post cool down. If already on the ground the damage is increased to high. Cooldowns: EE: 0/3

Toki grit his teeth as the angel effortlessly blocked his attack, but it at the very least put him on the defensive and allowed for Skadi's attack to catch him off guard. "They get involved because of your petty threats. If you think they will simply sit by and watch as their hard work is shattered before their very eyes without a fight, then you're in for a rude awakening."
As the Seraphimon launched its own attack towards the barrier, Toki would not allow him to gain any ground. He dove towards the attack that was launched, taking the full brunt of it as he staggered backwards. With ragged breath, he tried to remain on his feet, but struggled from his previous injuries on top of this brutal blast he had just taken. He almost fell back in defeat, but someone caught him. "Don't you ever fall. Father would never give up, and neither should you. I'm with you now, so stand!"
The supportive voice of Aylin, in her Dianamon form, stood shoulder to shoulder with Toki. He looked back at his friend "How did you know to come here...?" He asked. Aylin just grinned under her mask "A mission by the sovereign itself? The whole Digital World knows. Excuse my lateness."
Toki just smiled back at her before he felt the rumble of the beam of light crash into the earth nearby. "Help keep him in place, Aylin. I'm doing something about that mark. Go!" He shouted as he felt slightly rejuvenated from Aylin's support.
Aylin rushed forward and aimed a large arrow into the sky, a bowstring materializing on her polearm "Celestial Alignment!" She called out as she loosed the arrow, which shattered in the sky. Shards embedded in a large circle around Seraphimon as gravity itself started to turn against him. "The will of the Digital World itself is against you." She taunted.
Meanwhile, Toki took to the sky once more. His hammer floated at his side as he concentrated energy into his hands, the familiar blue aura taking shape as he aimed where the beam of light landed. "Souryuha!" He held his hands out as a beam of azure light fired forth from his palms, intent on enveloping Seraphimon in his entirety.
----
Aylin comes to Toki's aid and attempts to assist in holding Seraphimon still with Celestial Alignment. Toki follows up with Souryuha.
Toki: Origin of Suffering [Passive]: For each attack that Tsusagimon uses, one of the gems above his head will begin to shine to a maximum of five. He may choose to activate any number of them to increase the strength of an ability by 10% per gem to a max of 50% for five charged gems. The number of gems used will have to be charged again. (3/5 Charges)
Souryūha [Plot]: Tsusagimon centers himself and draws forth the power of Ebonwumon to his palms, before directing them towards a single target, sending forth a near-transparent beam of azure energy from both hands. This technique entirely ignores those viewed as allies, piercing straight through them as if they didn't exist, to strike powerfully at a target. Deals high arcane damage. (3 Turn Cooldown)
Cooldowns: Seismic Boost 3/3, Samsara 0/3, Moon Fall 2/2, Moonlight Aurora 1/3, Souryuha 0/3.
Aylin: Gentle Waves [Passive]: Aylin’s area of effect abilities cannot harm allies.
Celestial Alignment: Aylin fires a large arrow into the sky that shatters, with shards of it embedding themselves in a circular area around the enemy group. In this circle, gravity warps and presses down, slowing down the opponents and progressively gets worse the longer they’re in it. Lasts for Two turns [3 Post Cooldown]
Cooldowns: Celestial Alignment (2 Turns Remaining)

Post by Kenny O'Hara and Skadi on May 31, 2020 13:15:22 GMT
Damn, Skadi thought, clenching the handle of her sword tighter. That Seraphimon looked to be much more tougher than she originally anticipated, having effortlessly blocking the waves of beams Toki threw his way. If there was any consolation for her however, her glacier hit Seraphimon true, right on the head and down onto the earth. To that, Skadi just silently pumped her fist, muttering a quiet "Yes!"
Imagine the look of absolute shock on her face when, one, the now grounded Seraphimon had fired off an attack that would have destroyed the fortified wall in one clean hit, had it not been for two, Toki throwing himself in front of the wall just to prevent it from being destroyed, forcing the Markhormon wince, forcing her eyes shut and looking away, only forcing herself to peer just as the smoke cleared up.
Only to witness something wonderful.
Reinforcements.
Indeed, Aylin in her Dianamon form had joined the battle against Seraphimon herself, holstering Toki and and encouraging to keep fighting. A small grin came back to the Markhormon's face, as an aqua blue aura coated her sword. With a giant ray of light falling from the sky, and a double combo from Toki and Aylia, going for an all-out attack to the angel, she knew she just had to chip in and give this assault a little more oomph.
She slammed her sword directly into the earth, and at the same time, under the Seraphimon's feet, a fast-acting pressurised geyser of snow and ice would burst out of the ground. With any luck, and thanks to the gravitational pull, Seraphimon could find himself outright crushed between the ray of light and the sub-zero geyser underneath.
And yes, before you ask, she would defiantly understand Kitt not exactly throwing himself into the fray immediately, considering the absolute hell of an assault no sane individual would even think of stepping foot inside.
To someone like Odin, who would usually find himself carrying a lot of cargo, hell and highwater be damned, this honestly felt like second nature to him. Sure, the weight of 2 Rookie-sized Digimon and a human did slow him down somewhat, but only by a little. And sure enough, with no overbearing crowds or deadly crossfire to worry about, the group would find themselves back at the stadium, with Odin dropping off the two by lowering his body once more.
As the two watched the Gazimon and Gatomon depart into the portals, Odin wiped the sweat off his brow, "Jeeze, what the heck was up with those two anyways? You'd think they'd be tearing into each other's throats by now, y'know, if it wasn't for the friggin' local apocalypse!?"
"You're telling me." Kenny mumbled, slumping onto Odin's back, "I've seen old couples bicker less than these two, man!" Pulling himself back up, he looked around. Good. The city was safe, and as of now, Periperi would keep the residents under control. That was a matter for later.
Now?
The Leomon guard had a point. What were they to do, exactly? Odin was only Champion-level, and Kenny was a freaking muggle! And these were 3 Digimon, at least of the Mega-level. But they couldn't afford to sit out either! How could they contribute... wait... his cards.
Both of them turned to each other, "Odin, I think you know where we need to get to. You mind?" With just one shake of his head, Odin would dash off once more, this time towards the fight in question.
...Or rather, Doku and the vine coated wall standing between them and the fight itself. One small leap into the air later, and the two of them would see the smoke clearing, and Aylin pulling Toki up, as they peered through the wall, barely making themselves seen. "Jesus Christ, that looked completely nasty. Hopefully he can hold up and-what?"
Yes. Seraphimon, that Seraphimon, was marked. And needless to say, nobody wanted to hold back at this point. Especially not him. Even the out-of-the-loop Odin could notice something wrong about him. Why was he doing this? Was he brainwashed? Had he gone crazy? What?
"...yeah, I think I know what to do here." The utterly stumped Kenny admitted, pulling out his D-Nexus and the Devaccinate card. With one clean swipe of the card, his focus still glued to the fight itself, Toki, not Skadi, would find a bit of a subtle boost to him for quite a bit, the tamer opting to at least do something to give them an advantage over the malicious angel.
Would this work? Oh sweet God, Buddha and Arceus, please make this work!
Skadi, opting to add onto the all-out attack while still hiding from the sidelines, chips in by using Snowstorm Geyser, aiming to blast Seraphimon from beneath his feet, potentially crushing him from sheer pressure alone.
Kenny swipes the card, NS-26 Devaccinate. Thanks to the Team Player ability, he selects Toki to receive the boost for the next 3 posts, hoping to at least tip the scales into their side's favour.
Attack(s) used: Snowstorm Geyser (RAM Upgrade): Skadi rams her sword, coated in the familiar icy aura, into the ground. Underneath the opponent’s feet (in a 100m radius), a giant geyser of ice and snow erupts, inflicting powerful ice damage and potentially launching them into the air in the process from the pressure alone. This attack can also strike flying Digimon as well. (If there are more than one opponent, Skadi can select who gets hit by this attack, giving it a bit of an element of surprise). If Skadi rams her sword into the opponent instead, then they take the same full blast directly to their body, producing the same effect as before, but instead launching the in the direction opposite of where she strikes them. (2 post cooldown)
Card used (1/7): NS-26 Card Name: Devaccinate Type: Modify Rank: Silver Duration: 3 Posts Effect: A neutralizing aura surrounds the target Digimon. It's attacks become stronger against any Vaccine-type Digimon.
Buffs/Nerfs: Skadi: N/A Toki: Devaccinate (Super-effective attacks against Vaccine Digimon): 1/3
Cooldowns: Stonewall Barricade: Still active thanks to Doku's strong vines. Glacial Crash: 1/3 Snowstorm Geyser: 0/2

Kitt gave a frustrating growl as the angel seemed to shake off his technique. He was almost positive that it would weaken him, but it just shows how powerful he is and how outclassed he was. He even managed to nullify Toki's attack too, but that moment allowed the giant icicle Skadi summoned to fall on top of him.
That moment didn't last too long however, as Seraphimon unleashed a powerful attack towards the barrier that was protecting the city. Kitt could only watch in horror as Toki put himself in front of the attack, taking the full brunt of it as a result.
"TOKI-SAN!" Kitt yelled out, blindly dashing to the Tsusagimon's aid, only to stop midway, seeing a mysterious Digimon come to his aid, encouraging him to not give up. Well whoever she is, Toki seems to know her, and an ally of Toki's was an ally of Kitt, since they need all the help they could get.
The GrapLeomon watched as everyone unleashed their signature attacks: Holly summoning a pillar of light from the sky to slam Seraphimon to the ground; Toki flying to the sky, unleashing a powerful energy beam; the Dianamon shooting a large arrow into the sky, with the shards encasing itself into a circle, attempting to further press down on the angel; and Skadi calling forth a geyser in an attempt to send him flying, the crushed by the combination of Holly and the Dianamon's gravity-based attacks. This is a pincer attack that even a Super Mega like Seraphimon himself who not be able to escape unscathed.
Seeing that now was the time to join in the fray, Kitt slammed his broadsword into the ground, revving it up multiple times. "It's not enough, I need more... more power," Kitt growled as the entire sword and the cracks on the ground lit on fire. As quick as it started, the GrapLeomon was engulf in the blue flames. A sweltering of heat pervaded the air as the flames got more intense. For any onlookers, Kitt could only be seen as a black silhouette, with golden eyes gleaming from the inferno as he stared directly at Seraphimon.
"Scorch..." Kitt picked up Blue Queen and drew it back, the flames growing ever more intense to the point where the soil shimmered a dark blue. "TEMPEST!!" He swung his sword in widespread sweep, unleashing a large, powerful tornado made of fire at the presumably immobilize Seraphimon, aiming to scotch him, and that mark right off him. "I don't care if you're way stronger than me. If you lay a single finger on any innocents...YOU'RE GONNA PAY!!"
Combat Log:
Kitt unleashes Scorch Tempest as icing on the cake alongside with everyone's attacks with the intent on completely scorching Serpahimon alongside with the mark.
Passive: Advanced Feline Senses - Kitt retains his superior senses of vision and hearing from his previous two forms, making him able to function in combat if either senses were compromised.
Scorch Tempest - Overcharging his Blue Queen’s Exceed, Kitt takes a step from the opponent, and with all of his might performs a widespread sweep from his sword, sending a powerful firenado 11 meters wide at the enemy that burns everything in its wake. This attack can affect aerial Digimon as well. Can only be used three or more fuel phials remaining in Blue Queen. [ Four post cooldown]
Exceed -Three fuel phials expended; two fuel phials remain.
Cooldown/s Scorch Tempest: 0/4

Predictable.
Aiming at an airborne enemy was hardly a guarantee to hit, but point the attack at something important, and the so-called hero would immediately, and without thought, put himself directly in the path of the attack. For a moment, it appeared that one of the two stronger fighters would fall in that moment, making Toki's retort rather laughable in retrospect.
That was, until someone caught him, and supported him up. The Seraphimon's gaze fell right on the two, a holy aura beginning to flare from his body. "... The will of the Digital World?"
A torrent of holy light rained from above, amidst a myriad of star-borne arrows raining down on the angel's frame.
"... And what will is that? A will where we depend on mere statues for its stability?"
Ice cracked from below, and fire billowed over his frame, the angel tensing his fists as he braced himself. The mark on its back began to pulse, dark energy soaring amidst the angel's body.
"What good is such a will?!"
The echo of the Sovereign's energy roared through his frame, the Seraphimon raising his arms to try and hold on. Data soon stripped away from his form in the blast, and for a moment, it appeared that there was little more than a smoldering crater left of their adversary.
... That was, until the bottom of a golden staff echoed through the smoke, the spread of the angel's wings cutting right through. There, a 'mere' Angemon stood, supporting himself, stubbornly keeping himself on his two feet.
"... Incredible..." Doku muttered, keeping his attention on the barrier. "I could see how this one managed to be Luminas' poster-boy. Still, for the mark to keep him wanting to fight like this?"
That was just insane, wasn't it?
