Shibuya River

A murky, garbage-filled trench that was once a beautiful, crystal-clear river of water. Instead, it acts as a makeshift landfill, having cut off its former water supply with all of the sludge and gunk that sits festering at its bottom. A common prank to play on foreigners is to show them this "beautiful river", to receive a look of shock and disappointment shortly afterward.
